No search results when using custom list search

Hi,
I've built a custom list in SharePoint Online , which was supposed to be a new tracker. It was a combination of 3 different DBs. I combined the data in excel, scrubbed it and synced the data into my sharepoint list using Access. The question: Why
don't I have any entries showing when I use the seach box within my list? It comes up with nothing found? I don't have SharePoint Admin rights, I'm just a site owner. Which elements should I look into first to make sure that my entries are found? Any help
will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

After you added data into the custom list, if you want to search the items, you also need to run a crawl for your content source.
However, for SharePoint 2013 Online, continuous crawls are enabled in SharePoint Online, with crawl frequencies managed by Microsoft. You need to wait for finishing continuous crawl.

Interactive Report - search does not work when using custom authentication

Apex 3.2.x
I can authenticate fine with my custom authentication and all of my pages work okay except for one page that uses the Interactive Report feature. When I click 'Filter' then enter the column name, operation (contains, =, like, etc.) and the expression, then click the 'Apply' button, the page just re-displays and my filter information is missing?
If I first login to Apex, select and run my application, the Interactive Report features work just fine. What's missing?

More information:
After login into my Apex workspace (development environment), when I display the Interactive Report and click debug I see this debug message:
"using existing session report settings"
When I login using my application's custom authentication and click debug I see this debug message:
"creating session report settings as copy of public saved report"
Based on this, it appears that my session info in not set correctly when using custom authentication... but I'm not sure what needs to be set.

Incorrect Results When Using an In-Line View and User Function in 10g

My developers are complaining of incorrect Select statement results when using an in-line view along with a user defined function. Below is the statement:

Test_f() is a user defined function and the above query returns thousands of rows. It should return 308 rows. It is apparent that the target database is not evaluating the "where wo1 is null;" clause.

In the above query return 308 rows. The user function was replaced by an Oracle function. The Where clause is now evaluated correctly.
The query is executed from an Oracle 10g R2 database and retrieves data from a 9.2.0.6 database.
I've seen a little information on Metalink. It appears that there was some trouble in 9i, but were fixed in a 9.2.0.6 patch. I don't see any information about a 10.2.0.2 database.
Anyone have any experiences or a successful solution. I suspect that I will need to report this to Oracle and wait for a patch.

I can only think of two reasons for this behaviour:
1) You are executing these two queries from two different users and there is some policy on the table.
2) The function doesn't do an upper, but returns null a lot of times, even when the input is a not null value, like this:

Do IMAQ Cast Image or IMAQ Linear averages give different results when using different computers that are running under Windows XP ?

I'm currently developping an image processing algorithm using Labview 7.1 and the associated IMAQ Vision tools. After several tests, I found a weird result. Indeed, I put the labview algorithm - including the IMAQ VI on the library to get sure that I use all the time the same VI - on my memory stick and used it on two different computers. I tested the same picture (still in my memory stick) and had two very different results.
After several hours trying to understand why, I found that there were a difference between the results given by both computers at the very begining of the algorithm. Indeed, I used a JPEG file.
To open it, I first create an Image with IMAQ Create (U8). Then, I open it.
Then in my first sub-VI, I use IMAQ Cast Image to be sure that the picture is a U8 grayscale picture.
Right after that, I use the IMAQ Linear Averages. The results of this VI are different on the two computers.
I tried several time on the same picture : one computer always give me the same result but the two computers give me a different result. So there is no random variable on the results.
So my question is : Do IMAQ Cast Image or IMAQ Linear averages give different results when using different computers that are running under Windows XP ?
My bet is on IMAQ Cast Image but I'm not quite sure and I do not undestand why. The labview and IMAQ are the same on both computers.
The difference between the two computer are above :
Computer 1 :
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz with a RAM of 1Go. The processor is an Intel(R).
The OS is windows XP Pro 2002
Computer 2 :
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz with a RAM of 512Mo. The processor is an Intel(R).
The OS is windows XP Pro 2002.
If anybody can help me on this problem, it would be really helpful.

JSLink not working when using any list ViewStyles other than default.

I have a custom field and i am doing client side rendering of it using JSLink for ListView form. I started by applying the JSLink in custom field class.

Everything seems to work fine and i can see my custom field get rendered properly. Till this point i was using the default sharepoint list view style. After sometime i decided to use the shaded listview style which is <ViewStyle ID="17"
/> to get the alternating row color style in my list. After applying this style, my JSLink stopped working, infact it is not even registered on page now. I have tried different ways to set JSLink property like it is mentioned in the following link but it
didnt worked.

So my question is, how to apply JSLink while using the shaded (or any other) viewstyle?

When you register your display template, I'm guessing you're using both ListTemplateID and BaseViewID in the registration code?
It's likely that the BaseViewID is different for the Shaded ViewStyle. You should still see your code registered on the page in the Head element, but when it runs I think the registration is getting ignored.
Using the debugger in IE or chrome should allow you to step through the Display Template registration and double check what the value of BaseViewID should be.
You can of course override this if you want, I use a similar method in a blog post on fixing the clash with multiple web parts and JSLink on a page which may help you.

I'll give this a test on my dev environment when I get home and see if I get the same results when adding the JSLink through the webpart properties.

Ok, I tried this at home using a Field Display Template and it worked on all the different styles, however this was with the JSLink deployed through the list view web part properties, not declaratively in the field declaration.
It does prove however that it's not the BaseViewID causing the problem.

Regular Expression: Different results when using FIND or regex classes

thank you for your reply. But to negate a value set of single characters you have to use
[^ ]
I used just the character
^
This is defined as anchor character for the start of a line (See the documentation link you posted -> chapter 'Special characters for search strings') .
As I understand it, should the FIND REGEX statement does the same as the CL_ABAP_REGEX and CL_ABAP_MATCHER classes. Therefore, I do not understand, why both implementations deliver another result.
And I didn't find an answer for that. Does anyone else?

SelectItems using custom list component and itemRenderer

Hello, is it possible to do this without overriding selectedItems setters?
I'm passing xml as the dataProvider for a custom list:
here is the dataProvider XML:

i I've tried passing the selectedItem like this: colors.selectedItem= XML('<color id="3" name="Green" color="0x00FF00" />')
with no luck. i also have tried the vector.<Object> method as well with no luck.Can someone show me an example data format that you think might work for the selectedItem property, or even better selectedItems?

i have to search through the 'colors' dataProvider for the items i wish to be selected, then I create a list of those vectors/items I wish to be selected, then pass that list to the selectedItems property? seems easier to find all selectedIndices instead if this is a correct method? thanks -brandon

Error in results when using cfqueryparam

I get an error in the result set when using cfqueryparam in a
SQL "IN" statement.
This is on RHE with CFMX 6.01 and an Oracle 10g DB
In this instance, the query should have returned 8
records...as confirmed using SQL Navigator
This works fine regardless of the number of prameters inthe
list contained in variables.mrkt_sctr:
and rms.mrkt_sctr_id in (#variables.mrkt_sctr#)
If I do this:
and rms.mrkt_sctr_id in (<cfqueryparam
cfsqltype="cf_sql_varchar" list="yes" separator=","
value="#variables.mrkt_sctr#">)
I only get 7 results(debug info says seven and there are only
7 records listed)...the results that would have been generated by
the second parameter in the list of market sectors is ignored int
he results. If a 3rd market sector is added, I see the results of
the 1st 2 market sector id's...but the 3rd is ignored. If I put the
query (as output by the CF debug info) into SQL Navigator and
replace the ?'s withthe actual values...I get the appropriate
number of results. IF you look at the results on the webpage, the
results that would have been generated by the 3rd parameter are
missing.
There is nothing else in the code that would limit the number
of rows rerturned by the query.
Any Ideas?

tag to get
the actual, complete SQL statement sent to the database.

Orange mail software problem when using distribution lists : some lists cannot be used for writing e-mails. The problem does not exist when using Internet Explo

When writing an e-mail directly on the Orange e-mail service (not on Thunderbird) I am facing the following problem : some distribution lists cannot be used to complete the adressees. The same lists can be used without difficulty if I use Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. The Orange hotline told me that probably my Firefox version was not updated. Unfortunately I checked that, and apparently the automatic updating works. I have also updated the plug ins, without any result.

Please could you specify which webpage you mean ?
The process with Orange is the following :
- 1. click on "Write an e-mail" on the mail webpage
- 2. click on "To" to reach the Contacts which opens a new window
- 3. click on "Distribution lists"
- 4. click on the selected list then click on "add". The list appears ot the box corresponding to the addresses .
UNTIL THEN EVERYTHING WORKS WELL
- 5. click on the button "validate", which closes the window previously opened and normally
- 6. reloads the initial page with the complete list on the line "To". Instead of that I get the last e-mail address I previously used .
Question : at which step of this process should I try your suggestions ? I tried when the initial page was reloaded with the wrong address, but it did not work to get back the rignt distribution list;
Note that the whole process functions with OTHER Distribution lists. The only difference is that the problematic one has a larger number of adresses (62) however inferior to the maximum indicated by Orange (100).
I also remind that there is no problem when using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox.

Modifying findGrep results when using lookaheads/lookbehinds [JS][CS6]

Dear all,
I am thinking about a search/replace script (JS) in which the user is able to choose in a GUI to which elements of a findGrep()-array a changeGrep() method should be applied to. All in all that should be an easy thing to do.
The only thing I am wondering about is dealing with lookaheads and lookbehinds. Assuming the findWhat expression to be " (?=!)" to find a single unwanted space in front of an exclamation mark. Please understand this just as a simple example, it is obvious that you can do that kind of simple search without using a lookahead. The findGrep array will contain the pointer to the found space. If the user decides to remove the space and applies the changeGrep method on it, no changes will be made because the exclamation mark is not stored in the findGrep array and hence changeGrep method will not match the space.
So I am thinking of extending the pointer/selection before using changeGrep to include the exclamation mark in order to successfully apply changeGrep. But maybe there is a more straight solution I am not aware of?

"Type mismatch" error in IE7/8 when using custom Actions Menu Image

Hi all,
in APEX 4.2: when using a custom image in the "Actions Menu Image" attribute in an interactive report, I get a "Type mismatch" error in IE7/8 when refreshing the report through PPR (filtering, sorting, paginating etc.). When I leave the "Actions Menu Image" field empty, everything works fine. The error doesn't seem to happen in IE9 (unless using compatibility mode), or in any non-IE browser.
I've been able to reproduce the issue in an application on apex.oracle.com:

Some debugging seems to indicate that the following line in widget.interactiveReport.js is the culprit:

Great solution Paul! It cost me a while before I found out the Action Menu Image was causing my interactive reports to stop refreshing in IE10 and not other browsers. Your solution works great, I've implemented it with a few minor adjustments:
- Put the css in report template (for some reason it didn't work in our own application stylesheet)
- replace 'url("/c/action_dropdown.gif")' with 'url("&APP_IMAGE_PREFIX./<path_to_image>")'
- place one dynamic action on page 0: after refresh of '#apexir_DATA_PANEL' , set event scope to "Dynamic".
- Let the Dynamic action also fire on page load.
- To make sure the dynamic action only works for pages with an interactive report add condition of type 'Exists' with expression:

PO PDF errors when using custom RTF Template, but works with custom xsl

Hi,
I have done following set up steps for PO PDF
Setup / Organizations / Purchasing Options / Control TAB / set 'PO Output Format' = 'PDF'
setup / purchasing / document types / select "Standard Purchase Order" / Set the Document Type Layout to your new template.
But with the RTF template the PO Output for communication completes with error. However when I use custom XSL-FO style sheet, it works.
Can anyone help me how I can make my RTF work? When click on the preview of the template, it shows the PDF output though. Am I missing any other set up steps? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I think the only way to have control over the html output is to enclose the tags or any information within a borderless table and align the text and table as necessary...

When I try to build my application using custom error codes I receive the following error:
