No sound at all - PLEASE HELP ME I TRIED EVERYTHING

i tried everything, removing drivers, installing new ones, restarting pc,
i just cant make it seem to work. also when i start my pc i always get this error :

but no error so i just press OK. i reinstalled a million times but the right drivers and the auto update thing and i still dont know whats going wrong? its a dell Xps 630 pc and theres no realtek option in the BIOS so im clueless thanks in advance.
;~ i flashed my BIOS and i only see HD audio in the bios. nowhere does it says realtek or onboard audio. HD audio is disabled by the way. anyways i always get this error on startup ( and even if i reinstall to older or newer creative? drivers? )

SB Titanium HD + Logitech Z5500 No Sound at all, PLEASE HELP:Yesterday i replaced my SB X-Fi Titanium Fatalty Professional Serier 7. Sound Card which was working perfectly fine with the new Titanium HD, i did a fresh install of Windows 7 and deleted my partitions so started completely from scratch. Installed the drivers that it came with, had no sound at all. Updated the sound driver to the latest one 3.00.004 and still no sound. I'm using the optical cable for 5. as i have no choice so i thought as i wasn't using opitical before maybe it doesn't work but then when i uninstalled the creative drivers windows installed it's own driver and i all of a sudden had sound, but it must have been using the onboard sound on my motherboard. Then i tried installing the latest Creative driver first instead of the one from the CD provided and still no sound. I spent 6 hours trying everything i could think of, on Creative's website it mentioned trying to change the frequenzy sampling rate to match your speakers, well i went through all of them in the settings?and still no sound. I've even taken the sound card out and reinstalled it again, still no sound. I'm really lost and could appreciate some help. Do you think the sound card could be faulty?
In device Manager the sound card shows up so it is being reconised, also on the opitical at the back of the card it glows a red colour.
The specs of my machine are:
Windows 7 Home Premium (orignal not a copy!)
Gigabyte P67A-UD7
Intel i7 2600k 3.40Ghz
Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR PC3-5000C9 866Mhz
ATI Radeon 6970
Also i've updated Windows 7, but to be honest i had no sound before the updates and no sound after installing all the updates and uninstalling the drivers and then reinstalling them. I feel like i'm a beaten man and it's so annoying, any advice PLEASE?Please ignore my post, sooooo embarrassing, user error (hands up). Nothing wrong with the hardware or drivers.
As i didn't have to do this before when i was using my Fatalty card without using optical i honestly didn't give it a second thought but i had to go to the encoder settings from the creative audio software and change to Dolby or DTS, it was switched off so i chose Dolby at first and then my Logictech Z5500 5.1 LCD Panel changed to the Dolby sign and then there was light (sound). I felt very stupid indeed.
However it would have been REALLY helpful if i could have spoken to someone in person, it took me 6 hours before another kind poster from another website told me where i was going wrong, Creative really need to have a technical support phone line as their knowledge base is VERY limited! -

All sites work fine except Gmail will not load. I prefer Firefox, but to be fair, Chrome and IE are doing the same thing when I try to use them. Occasionally Gmail will pop up, most of the time it just endlessly cycles and I don't even get an error message. I'm going to have to get rid of gmail if this goes on.

I upgraded firefox and lost all of my valuable bookmarks please help, I have tried everything
I upgraded to a newer version of Firefox last month around June 14 th time frame and I lost ALL my bookmarks, these are very Important to me , I have tried everything that was suggested online and now would like to know if there is anything Firefox can do to get my bookmarks back, Please help me. I wish I had never upgraded, why on earth didn't Firefox warn me that this might happen if they did I would have never upgraded as they requested. My iPod nano connects and is visible in Device Manager yet invisible in My Computer and iTunes. I've tried everything I can possibly think of to try and solve this myself, all in vain.
I've been using my nano 4G for quite some time without the slightest problem. I have been using WINAMP instead of iTunes to manage my darling nano.
Then, one fine day I bought a new computer and the nano would not show up in My Computer, though the nano display shows "Do not disconnect". On my old computer it worked (and still works) absolutely fine with WinXP as well as with Win7 (which I currently use on my new/problematic computer, which I bought last summer and that's how long I've had this problem).
Of course, after several attempts I gave up and installed iTunes. I've tried all the recommended actions in the Apple support article "iPod not recognized in 'My Computer' and in iTunes for Windows":
- reset dozens of times
- of course fully charged,
- cable works fine on two other computers
- in normal or disk mode makes no difference
- tried to find anything useful in diagnostics mode
- reinstalled iTunes several different times since then to the latest version
- unplugged every other USB device except for my mouse and keyboard and tried several different USB ports on my motherboard (USB 3.0 and conventional), as well as trying different USB-related options in my BIOS
- never used a Mac with this ipod
- tried fiddling with the Win7 Services by stopping and restarting them
- uninstalling iPod drivers in Device Manager. After such an uninstall the ipod would automatically be recognised and "ready for use", i.e. being invisible in My Computer.
- Attempted to find any possible third-party conflict with msconfig or the possibility that my ipod is being confused for a network drive (I've even disconnected my HDD, leaving only my primary disk, an SSD that contains the OS).
Sometimes, iTunes would note that iPod service (or something, can't remember exactly) "failed to install properly" and asked to try and repair it. I would click YES! and voila - no change! The ipod would rarely show up in iTunes on my problematic computer like this:
iTunes would warn me that the nano would need restoring so I would try and do it on my haunted machine upon which iTunes would freeze like you seen in the picture. I would leave it over night with no change, so it was definitely fronzen.
Despite this, I've updated and restored the nano on my father's computer to the latest version without any problems. This though, did not solve my problem in any way.
I can load music to my nano through my old computer (which for me is a real pain and hassle) and the gadget works normally in terms of its disconnected functionality.
I've taken my nano to the local service for repair and they said it was perfectly fine. Mercifully, they didn't charge for the diagnostics service (gee, thanks for not ripping me off!).

This is my sad story as far as I can remember. I'm guessing it's most likely something with the drivers or something along those lines though I'm out of ideas at this point on how to solve it.

8330 not pushing my GMAILS to the phone? something is wrong- Please help-- i have tried everything!
PROBLEM: My 8330 is not pushing my gmails to the phone. i get 1 out of 4 messages pushed to the phone. i re-sent service books, i deleted and re-added gmail to my bb (thru BIS). I deleted the gmail off my outloook as well from my PC.
I downloaded GMAIL for blckberry from Google and that works but i like my gmail to be combined in my inbox.
I need a blackberry expert help on this.
VERIZON support has not been able to solve this.
ADDITIONALLY the gmail filter for duplicate messages is not working on my blackberry either, meaning the messages i send from gmail.com or from my BB come back immediately as duplicates.
I have had 10 blackberry's so i am not novice, PLEASE HELP!!

IF you are using Outlook to download your email to your desktop PC, Outlook is likely "deleting" mail from your email server when it downloads it to your PC.
There is a setting in Outlook to "Leave Messages on Server".
For MS Outlook 2003:
1. Outlook > Tools > Email accounts > View or Change existing > next.
2. Highlight the email account > Change > More Settings.
3. Advanced Tab > Leave a Copy Messages on Server
4. Check that box.
* You will need to perform this edit for each Outlook email account you have.
Other versions of Outlook have a similar setting although it might located in a slightly different location in the :advanced settings.

Thanks for the screenshot. I have never seen any drive shown in red - I have a feeling that may be bad news (the hard drive may be failing). So, since you are running Snow Leopard, I'd suggest you first back up all your stuff, then get out your install DVD, boot from it while holding C key while restarting, and wipe the drive completely after repairing the drive using the disk utility on the install CD. If that works, then reinstall from scratch. If it doesn't work, your hard drive may need to be replaced.

Hello can some please help I am trying to watch my HBO go on my apple tv I have sound no picture. I can watch my iTunes videos and youtube on my airplay with my ipad and everything is updated so I know it works. But not on HBO go, Max go, showtime go.
What you want to do does not work with an iPd running iOS 5. See the screenshot.
The latest update for HBO GO does allow for AirPlay on Apple TV - sound and video - but only on devices running iOS 6 and Apple TV running 5.1.1 or later - according to the app description. -

Sound not working. please help!
hello, I just got this new iMac that i got used and the sound on the computer does not seem to be working, I have tried doing what the computer tells me and going into System Prefrences and selecting the sound option, but the sound seems to have been permanantly disabled and shows that there are no output or input devices available, when clearly the monitor has speakers. whats more, is that the volume icon does not show up in the menu bar even when I select that I want it in the menu bar. I would greatly appreciate if someone would get back to me on this as soon as possible and tell me what the **** is going on because I dont know what to do and I want my sound. So Please Help!
Do you hear the startup "bong" sound when powering up the iMac? If you do, that means the speakers work and there is probably something messed up in software or settings.
First, try resetting PRAM. This is the procedure.

Sound volume setting is one of the things stored in PRAM. If you hear the startup sound after holding down those four keys at startup, then your speakers are probably working now. -
Okay everybody...so I'm on the struggle bus so I'm going from Photoshop cs6 off my old broken laptop to trying to dwn Photoshop Cs2...either way I love PS. Now when I tried downloading it for free from Adobe...succeeded...but when I went to the download folder to install it, it said "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?" I mean....what would you do? Is it safe to click yes....(Don Don Don...*sound effect*)..please help...
If you already have a license for photoshop cs6, why do you want photoshop cs2?
You can just install photoshop cs6 on your new computer provided both operating systems are the same kind (both mac or both windows)

I have a red vertical line on the right side of my screen and it will not go away tried restarting my computer and that didn't help at all, please help me with this problem it is kind of annoying
If it's a thin 1 pixel wide vertical line it's highly likely it could be caused by a defective LCD.
One quick basic way to check is to note the position of the line. Then go to System Preferences, Displays, and lower the resolution. If ther line moves it's on the video and the logic board or video card if fitted is likely to be defective. If the line stays in the same position it's likely to be an LCD fault. Either way to have it repaired you'll need to visit an Apple store or AASP.
The worst offender for this problem is the Late 2006 17" iMac. FOC replacement of the LCD used to be covered by a quality program, but it's now ended.
