No Transaction on create -- Why?

I have an entity bean (bmp) wherein I specified in my ejb-jar.xml the following in the container-transaction portion:

<ejb-name>AccountBean</ejb-name>
<method-intf>Remote</method-intf>
<method-name>*</method-name>
</method>
<trans-attribute>Required</trans-attribute>
However when I call home.create() on an application client
and in the ejbCreate() code I retrieve the UserTransaction using jndi lookup and call getStatus() I get a value for NO_TRANSACTION. Shouldn't I get a value of ACTIVE since the container should have started a transaction for the create method before calling ejbCreate()?

The EJB spec forbids the use of the UserTransaction object when using CMT (Container Manager Transaction).
When using CMT, you do not have access to the transaction started by the container.

Call an MM transaction without creating a new LUW

Hello Experts,
I have created a new Z_ transaction in which I want to call an existing Materials Management
transaction (MB1B). Additionally, in my transaction I update some extra custom (z_) tables. I would like to have one LUW so as to perform all updates (both custom tables and SAP tables updated by the MM transaction) together at the final "commit work" in my program.
Is there a way to call the MM transaction without creating a new LUW in my calling program (as the CALL TRANSACTION statement does)?
I have read that one way is to use the CALL DIALOG statement instead. Is it a safe method to use?
Please give as much detailed info (with examples) as possible.

My requirement is to call a transacton in a subscreen. Created a screen 100 that is devided into 2 one for custom container to place tree control and another for subscreen that is to call transaction.
Call transaction works fine, but this transaction is being opened in new screen(as each transaction use new LUW)., is there any to display the transaction in the sub screen area instead of new screen..
For ex, very similar to t-code SE80. In se80, choose other object, and choose more, and select trasaction and enter any t-code, then it displays same of SE93 in the right side of the screen...hope it is clear..

Transaction to create root object in genil component.

may be it seems to be basic question. i am following one tutorial where they are creating one genil component. in order to create root object, they told to run the transaction GENIL_MODEL_EDITOR. but i couldnt find the this transaction in my system. is there any other transaction to create root objects for genil component in CRM. kindly help me.

Transaction to create a new opportunity

To create a business partner, it is rather simple to use transaction BP.
But does there exist a transaction for creating an opportunity or a quotation for SAP CRM 7.0?
I am not asking about the front end web tool where you can just use the site to create a new opportunity.
I am asking on the SAP GUI side.

You can use the Transaction CRMD_ORDER to create one order documents, Opportunity being one of it. Just to give you some information, SAP GUI is being phased out slowly for CRM. All latest developments are in Web UI, so don't be surprized to find the differences between Web UI/SAP GUI.

You've checked the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

Dump in transaction IB51 - create installed base

We have installed CRM 2007 at our site. The transaction for creating installed base IB51 on selecting the category of installed base and pressing enter throws an ABAP dump.
The category being used is a standard SAP delivered category; yet there is a dump.
Kindly suggest the notes / corrections / SPs applicable if any; since the system is a new system and the error is not config related.

Sorry, but SAPGui is no longer a supported UI for SAP CRM 2007 for any end-user facing applications. Consequently, the transactions in SAPGui are no longer supported. So you won't find corrections (notes, SPs) that will correct his problem.
SAP CRM 2007 comes with a complete new Web UI: The CRM WebClient UI. It allows a role based web access to all CRM applications. SAP CRM WebClient UI can be used integrated into the SAP Enterprise Portal but also "stand-alone" with a "local" application shell ("L-shape") which is delivered as part of SAP CRM ABAP server itself.
Please refer to many other threads in this forum, the SAP help portal and the CRM BPX communitiy pages for more information about the WebClient UI.

JPA classPK created, why

I don´t know much about JPA. So I tried some examples and created my own. Some things were very strange for me. When I use two tables with a one to many relation, my IDE creates a class names somewhat as classPK, which has only the method equals()...
What is it good for?
Can I use this method for easier access.
What is the suggestion to find an argument of an linked table, a query with a where clause or at firstt the entity and via the entities id the linked entity?
Or is it necessary for JPA to work?
By the way, I use OC4j JEE to develop and test. As it seems when I create a entiy (annotated with @Entity), a session facade and start filling a first instance with values, I can perform an query withot persist() afterwards. Why?
I thought At first I have to persist my new Entity? Is it handled by the container automatically?
When to use persist()?

These are probably pal accounts. How many subscribers do you have?
I have two subscribers "transactional queued". What do you mean with "pal accounts" ?
At one subscriber (test machine) i deleted now all these accounts, replication is still running, so i think they could be deleted.
Maybe they where created during the setup of the subscription because at this time the Agent Queue Reader was not in the access list of the subscriber ?
Beside an other question, also at the subscriber there are tables created like "dbo.conflict_<DBNAME>_<TABLENAME>" is that normal ?
BTW: its a pitty that i couldnt find that topic (REPLCERTLOGIN_REPLCERT...) at the knowledgebase :(

Does each SAP transaction iview create a log on to the backend ECC?

If I put multiple SAP transaction iviews in a role, each pointing to a different SAP transaction in the same backend system, does the launch of each iview create a new logon in the backend system when using SAP logon tickets? If so, is it possible to make it only launch a new session if one logon has already been created?

launching of diffrent Transactio Iview form same back end is quite similar as loged in to backend with Proper credentials and opening diffrent transaction's by useing
/oxx(Transaction Name)

BDC Call Transaction : FS00(Create G/L Account)

Hi,
Make the mode 'E' and see excatly, where the warning or errors or coming.
If you are having an currency or UOM ,related fields, see that the values should not be empty. If they are enpty. Put an if condition there and Quit filling such fields.
First keep in mode 'e' and debug. 100% you will see the warnings or errors, then tell me what is the error.

How to restrict a Sales Transaction being created Straight up

Gurus,
We have a business requirement where a perticular Order type (Sales Transaction) can only be created as a follow on Order.
But the problem is, when i configure the Sales Transaction type, it is also appearing in the standard Transaction type list.
I have configured this Order type in the follow on Transaction configuration, but i cannot remove/hide this transaction type from standard transaction type list.
Pls advise.
