NoClassDefFoundError when trying to use a bytebuffer

Hey Guys,
So im trying to use a bytebuffer and when i try to import
import java.nio.*;it compiles but i keep getting this error when i try and run the program:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ByteTest
Any ideas?
Thanks so much!

Your import statement has nothing to do with it. ByteTest is your class and it's not in the java.nio package. Clearly your class is not available on your classpath when running your application.
