Non-.CSV format: expand data from one cell to many

Question

I would like to expand this data from one cell to many where each space is the delineator as well as the /slash.
Example data: 
Mr. Bernardo Mestido/Portugal
Ms. Renata Sateel/Germany

Here is a simple script which does the trick :

          set oTIDs to AppleScript's text item delimiters
          set AppleScript's text item delimiters to d1

          set AppleScript's text item delimiters to oTIDs
