Nonfatal JIT error

We are getting then following error, when running WLS 5.1 with SP4, on

We have tried to use JDK1.3 instead - and have not seen the error on
this JDK

Oh well, I was afraid you were going to say that.
The only advice I have recieved so far from weblogic support is to not
use the JIT. This is pretty bad because of the serious degradation in
performance without the JIT. I know that weblogic would like us to move
to 5.1, but we have a large number of ejbs and can't just re-target to
the latest platform.
Any other suggestions?

I would like to use jdk1.3, particularly with hotspot, but it is not on
the supported list for weblogic 4.5.1. Do you know if the list will be
updated in include jdk1.3 w/ hotspot for 4.5.1? Previously, when this
question was asked, the answer was no.
We are currently running the latest version of jdk1.2.2.
Thanks,

We are getting the following error (in an apparently random way):
A nonfatal internal JIT (3.10.107(x)) error 'Structured

occurred in :
Unfortunetely, even though the error thinks that it is nonfatal, it is
killing the server.
We are running WL 4.5.1 sp8 with NT 4.0 sp4, Sun jdk1.2.2.
Has anyone else seen this error?
Any suggestions on how to prevent it?
Thanks,
Carles

  • Get A nonfatal JIT error querying a ldap server

I wrote a java program to query a ldap server based on last name. Basically my code does a search for any entry with sn equal to the passed argument. It works fine when it returns a small set of records, but when I try to query sn = * or even sn = l* (which should return a few hundred people) the code bombs with the following:
A nonfatal internal JIT (3.10.107(x)) error 'chgTarg: Conditional' has occured in :
    'com/sun/jndi/ldap/Connection.readReadOnly (Lcom/sun/jndi/ldap/LdapRequest;)Lcom/sun/jndi/ldap/BerDecoder;': Interpreting method.
Please report this error in detail to http://java.sun.com/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi
The above come out of stderr. Stadnard output will have 'current thread not owner' after the above error message.
I doubt I am the only person who is doing something like this. If anyone knows what is happening with the above message, please give me a hint.
    thanks a bunch.

Not knowing what the underlying problem is, I decided to use the Netscape directory SDK instead of the jndi solution with Sun's ldap service provider. I was able to retrieve 2000 entries and it is actually a lot faster than the jndi method.
I hope this helps others who are trying to connect to a ldap server.

  • Just-In-Time (JIT) Error in Windows 2003 Server Environment

    Hi,
I am using the EBS R12.1.1 environment for learning purpose. I am running EBS R12.1.1 on Windows 2003 Server environment on my personal laptop.
I am getting JIT error on FNDLIBR.exe file. This error opens a window and asks me to choose debuggers and by default the MS Visual Studio 2005 debugger is available. This error raises every some time randomly like some time it raises in every 1 min, sometime it raises in every 2 to 5 mins etc. How can I overcome on this error?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Waqas Hassan

    Thanks Mr. Hussein,
I think in learning process i do not need the NLS Patch. So I had a fresh copy of EBS R12.1.1 in VMWare on Windows 2003 Server and now, I am using it without NLS Patch.
Actually I am working on HRMS Setup, in fresh EBS environment there is need to install its legislative data, so I installed it and apply the hrglobal.drv patch according to this document "*Instructions for Running DataInstall/hrglobal.drv on R12 [ID 414434.1]*" but I just skipped only 5th and 6th Step because its about NLS Patch.
I run the 7th step to "*Generate Payroll Dynamic Database Item Translations*" its completed successfully but when I run the 8th Step about "*Bulk Compile Formulas*" its giving error and the error is given below:

  • About nonfatal runtime error in CVI

    Good day
My programBNumberOfRecord() gets a nontatal runtime error when I debug it, if I press continue it gets normal work. So I think the error dialog is improper, but i cannt skip it.
Can i skip the error when debugging? thank you!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

During debug of an application under development it may be excessive to filter out all library error messages. In this case you can enclose your faulting instruction between a pair of SetBreakOnLibraryErrors () calls that disable and then re-enable popup error messages.
Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • CTHelper.exe causes JIT debugg errors at system start

I have an Audigy 2 ZS card, and the latest drivers & software. I'm running under WinXP Pro, latest updates also. Every time I start the system I get a series of 4 error messages that I have to "ok" through about debug issues....that the subject program caused a jit error, and then that I have no jit debugger. Right. Why would I want to debug software I've paid for?
Any ideas on how to fix this?
    Rich

That CTHelper.exe file is pretty much useless. Go to the Run... dialog box and type in "msconfig" (without the quotes) and hit Enter. Go to the Startup tab and uncheck the box next to CTHelper and click OK. Restart your computer. A message will pop up after reboot about settings changing in MSConfig. Click the check box at the bottom so that the message doesn't appear at every boot. Go into the Task Manager and check to see that CTHelper.exe
is not running. If it is, end it. Now, go to your Creative install directory (default: C:\Program Files\Creative) and search in there for the file. I think I deleted it and I don't remember where it is, so you'll have to look for it. When you find it, rename it so that it can't be restarted (you have to do this or else the file will be re-enabled eventually, I think it happens when you run one of the Creative programs).

Oracle WebLogic Server 11g uses a built in production quality (limited in capacity) LDAP server to store user authorization information such as roles, credentials etc. You can also use an external RDBMS instead of the built in LDAP server. Using the RDBMS security store is highly recommended by Oracle in some situations, especially in a cluster environment (for using SAML 2.0 services).
If you choose to use the RDBMS Security Store, you can configure the security store either through the Configuration Wizard or through WLST at the command line.
The problem arises because the underlying database has not been configured (or not configured correctly). If you're going to use the RDMBS security store (instead of the default LDAP server), please do the following:
    1. First, make sure you test the database connection on the Configuration Wizard page (Look at the right hand top corner for the button that tests the connection).
    2. Create necessary RDBMS tables in the Security Datastore. I understand others in this thread have suggested this option. However, I want to emphasize that you must log in as the same user you've used as the user name to test your RDBMS connection (I used system as the user name) in Step 1 and run the following script:
$ @WL_HOME\server\lib\rdbms_security_store_oracle.sql (I'm using Oracle as an example - there are similar scripts for DB2, MS SQL Server).
The script will create about 30 or so tables. You can log out of the DB at this point.
    3. Start up the Admin Server. It should start correctly now.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks! Sam

  • Problem with timestamp in query

I have problem with timestamp in JPA query.
I wonna select all data from database where difference between two timestamps is more than 3 month.
    Database:
    ID timestamp1 timestamp2
    1 20008-11-19 15:02000 20008-08-19 15:02000
    2 20008-11-19 15:02000 20008-11-14 15:02000
    @Column(name = "timestamp1", nullable = false)
    @Temporal(TemporalType.TIMESTAMP)
    public Date timestamp1;
    @Column(name = "timestamp2", nullable = false)
    @Temporal(TemporalType.TIMESTAMP)
    public Date timestamp2;
    sql query works:
    select id from table where
    MONTH( DATE(timestamp1) - DATE(timestamp2) ) > 3
but how I can write in Java?
    I't doesnt wrk:
    Query query = em.createQuery("SELECT f.id FROM Foo f WHERE MONTH( DATE(f.timestamp1) - DATE(f.timestamp2) ) > 3 ")
    error:
ExceptionUtil E CNTR0020E: EJB threw an unexpected (non-declared) exception during invocation of method .

The error is indocating improper formatting of your JPQL string. MONTH is not understood. I would recommend using your SQL string in a createNativeQuery(...) call instead.

  • RH 8 Crash

    RH 8.0.2
    Hello,
I consistently receive Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger errors while working in RH. I have deactivated all debugger options in VS, so I simply get an error that informs me that I'm not using a debugger.
Error: "An unhandled win32 exception occurred in robohtml.exe [1700]. JIT debugging this exception failed with the folling error. No installed debugger has JIT enabled..." The bracket number changes each time the error appears.
I have researched the issue on the Web and found no solutions/explanations.
I have had limited success when I restart my computer and delete the cpd, but invariably, the problem arises again.
There are few red flags in the 'offending' topics. Maybe a bit of canned javascript, but not anything else. Topics seem to be equal opportunity offenders. I created the project from scratch, and I'm confident it's in good structural shape. I am a bit compulsive...
I know folks have reported JIT errors with RH in the past. Has anyone arrived at a solution or even a work around?
    Please help! Thanks.

What were the circumstances of your crash? I installed this very same
configuration two days ago and it is working fine. I'm using RH 8.0
    (I've since updated the kernel to 2.4.19 [I think]), J2SDK 1.4.1_01 and
Eclipse 2.1 M4. No worries so far.

    Dear Bhushan
The root cause is this Error Stack Trace:
Caused By: <openjpa-1.1.1-SNAPSHOT-r422266:807362 nonfatal store error> kodo.jdo.DataStoreException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
{prepstmnt 2428110 INSERT INTO BEAXACMLAP (DOMN, REALMN, TYPEN, CN, XVER, CTS, WCN, WCI, WXF, XD, XS, MTS) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?) Means, it is NOT able to find any DB Schema with the Table named like "BEAXACMLAP"...
When we create a new domain using Config wizard, you select customize option and in one of the following screens you will see like 2 Radio buttons with options as " I do not want to change anything here" and " I want to create, change or remvoe RDMBS support". NOW use the Default setting like I do not want to change. Once I checked other radio button and ran into issues like yours. Basically if you check, YES, then you need to load another .sql file in this db schema located at: "C:\beawls1032\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\rdbms_security_store_oracle.sql". This .sql file has the above missing table "BEAXACMLAP".
So I guess all you folks may have checked the radio button option YES, but did not run the above .sql file in that db. Under your domain root folder/config/jdbc you should see a .xml file with above datasource details. So run the above .sql file in that schema.
I would say please start over again. Create a new domain from config wizard and use default setting for above screen that I mentiond like " I do not want to change anything here" and proceed. I am hoping that should work.
NOTE: Running RCU utility or RCU related .sql files will NOT have above missing tables. RCU Utility will have all schemas/tables specific to SOA Components only like BPEL, WebServices, Workflows etc etc.
    Thanks
    Ravi Jegga

  • The transaction is no longer active - Transaction timed out after 30 second

We have an intermittent error here, and I'm a rookie. The error results in a 500 being sent to the customer every 10th-20th POST and only occurs under heavy load. The heavy loading is over the for the day, but it'll be back.
My first suspicion was the app code doing transaction work and having database performance problems. But the app is non-transactional and the database is fine. The server farm nodes (4) are all experiencing the problems at equal rates, and the other apps on the farm are fine, so it appears to be app-specific rather than rooted in server state or database state.
I looked at the stack a little more closely and it appears to be some kind of internal persistence issue, but a completely foreign one to me. We have no Persistent Stores configured, so I don't know where to even start on this puppy.

This was actually my first conclusion as well. But when I went to the Data Source for this connection, I found it's a non-transactional driver. That's what made me go back and give the trace a second look. I don't see any references to the Data Source in question. It's OpenJPA stuff and Session persistence stuff.Non-XA drivers can still participate in an XA transaction via a variety of JDBC data source options - for example, labeled "1PC" and "LLR" on the console. (If you want to understand the particulars search for "JTS" or "LLR" in the JDBC edocs).
You seem to be suggesting maybe the setting can be made in a config doc, possibly of the app itself, right? Right. EJBs have a transaction-timeout attribute.
As opposed to setting it in the console. WebLogic has a domain wide default transaction-timeout setting that can be set on the console, but I tend not to recommend using it. In addition, there's something called a "deployment plan" which can be used to override some of the common EJB attributes via configuration, but I'm not personally familiar with its usage.
But isn't the setting vapor if we're using a nonXA driver? No.
I wonder if this thing couldn't be telling me it's waiting on the persistence subsystem to come available to store simple session data? Sometimes the problem is that there are periodic app requests that are more complex/larger than others. Sometimes the system is simply overloaded, and takes 30 seconds to honor a request that might normally take 10 seconds.
That other app is all about persistence. What if app2 is sucking some persistence subsystem dry and app 1 is waiting just to store session data? Could be.
If the nonXA thing really does kill the quick timeout workaround, how could I health-check the persistence subsystem?Don't know. At a wild guess I'd check for CPU's at 100% on all involved serves, and examine database stats.
