Not able to enter a Distinct EA twice in the same Custom Section

(Answering a question asked offline.)
By design, you are not able to have the same Distinct Extended Attribute twice within a custom section. I believe you might be able to define it twice, but they can't both be the default. If you are allowed to do this then when you use the Customer Section on a spec, you cannot add the column or row with the second Distinct EA, unless you remove the first one.
The basic rule that this follows is that a spec can only have one instance of a Distinct EA. This is because when you access a Distinct EA, you can access it by it's ID. If there are more then one with the same ID, then you wouldn't be able to access the EA by ID, since it would return multiple.
For example, if you need to capture the PH level of a Material spec, if you just used a generic EA with an ID of 'value', then when you want to access it, say in a Calculated Numeric EA, you would have to access it using 'value'. If you also used this same EA to capture percent milk, and it was on the same spec, what would be returned when accessing 'value'? This is a problem.
So instead, you should create a 'PHLevel' EA that is distinct and that would gaurantee that you can access it by ID.

The issue was fixed after including the custom jar in esourcing90/lib folder and redeploying

  • OHS not able to redirect to two different ports of the same managed server

    Hi
    I need to redirect to different ports of the same managed server (say M1, M2) based on the availability of the managed server. ie when managed server M1 is busy handling other requests i need to redirect my new request to M2. i already have this mechanism to find out which managed server is free.
    so now the problem is if M2 is free how would i tell ohs to redirect it to M2 server??
    M1,M2 both managed servers are hosted at host1.example.com.
    M1 port - 8001
    M2 port - 8003
    my context root is /YpsSupplyPlanningEngineService/supplyPlanningEngineService
    my mod_wl_ohs.conf is defined as:
    <Location /M1/YpsSupplyPlanningEngineService/supplyPlanningEngineService>
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    PathTrim /M1
    WebLogicHost host1.example.com
    WebLogicPort 8001
    </Location>
    <Location /M2/YpsSupplyPlanningEngineService/supplyPlanningEngineService>
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    PathTrim /M2
    WebLogicHost host1.example.com
    WebLogicPort 8003
    </Location>
    when i type the url in browser as "http://<ohs_server_url>:7777/M2/YpsSupplyPlanningEngineService/supplyPlanningEngineService"
    This is not working. Is there any way to do it?
    Please help me here.
    Thanks in advance.

    why I can only install adobe photoshop elements 12 but not able to install adobe premiere elements 12 with the same serial number to my macbook?
    Photoshop Elements

    PSE and PRE have different serial numbers. If you bought both programs you should have two separate serial numbers.

    I am trying to set up my newly purchased Apple TV but when I enter my network password while setting up, I am not able to enter the Submit button, any idea how to hit the visible submit button that is visible on screen but not responding?

    You need to use the right arrow on the remote to go all the way to the right. The submit button will be highlighted and you can then press select on the remote to proceed.

  • I am not able to enter the password and also can not able to open any application in my Mac Book Pro;to log in I have to force shutdown.

    Hi
    My Mac book pro is behaving strangely. I am not able to enter the Password and can't open any application/folder. To log-in I have to give forced shutdown. When ever I try to open any application the screen turns grey (some times) and the window pop up " --------- quit unexpectedly".
    I updated the OS too from the available updates but the problem persists. I have reasonable amont of data in it, which definitely I do not want to loose.
    Kindly let me know how can I come out of the above scenario?

    Hi Susan,
    In that case I will recommend that you consult a local technician/IT team and see if there is some network connectivity issue with your machine.

  • Navigation very slow and not able to enter in memory a sequence issue

    Hello,
    we have a big problem with oracle forms performance since we deployed our
    application to the web. all our customers are not confortable with this new
    environment because the sytem are very slow and working it's very difficult.
    our application is very slow in point of when the user use very quickly the key
    functions it doens't work.
    I explain :
    for example, we have a button &Verifier (alt+v : acces key to this button) and
    when clicking to button we have a dialox box that contains 2 buttons:
    Oui(alt+O:access key) and Non(alt+N:access key) and if we click Oui(alt+O) it
    popup as an information box and we must click Ok(alt+O: access key).
    then if we click quickly alt+v after alt+o after alt+o it doens't work and it
    wait to click againt alt+o.(like the system doesn't follow or has not yet enter all the sequence in the memory)
    before in client/server it work's fine.
    it's like our application in the web it's not able to entered in memory a
    serial of access key.
    please can you help me the problem is always occuring in the production
    environment.
    our environment:
    - oracle jiniator :1.3.1.22
    OAS 10G (9041)
    DATABASE 9206
    - the complete version of forms : 9.0.4.0.19
    - we have 23 USERS.
    any help are welcome, the problem are urgent.
    thank you.

    Hi
    Lets analyse and hope to narrow down your issue
    We have used the Pick and Pack Manager to release goods from Sales Order through to Invoice. The functionality offered is good,
    > Slow performance could be triggered by multile issue  , so lets wait
    > Do you know PICKand PACK manager is only for status ,but it actually doesn't affect inventory level .
    but in practise the system is so slow it is taking 2 to 3 times longer than copying to a Sales Invoice.
    > You need to do delivery first and transfer the delivery into invoice .
    Is there any way of cutting out part of the process to speed things up? What we really need is to be able to create an invoice(s) straight from the Pick and Pack manager.
    >> It basically depends upon your business process . but by software , You can bypass Pick and PACK Manager process. You can transfer  your sales order into A/R invoice  and while posting A/R invoice , inventory will be reduced .
    Hope this help to narrow down your issue
    thank you
    Bishal

    Apps previously purchased will continue to operate wherever you are.    However; you'll not be able to update them other than by using the original purchase details.   What this means is that you can only 'purchase' from a country's store if you have a valid credit card and residence of and in that country.

  • I've just updated my iPad to iOS 7.02 and I'm not able now to download new apps nor update the version of the existing ones.

    Hi!
    I've just updated my iPad to iOS 7.02 and I'm not able now to download new apps nor update the version of the existing ones. All of them are "waiting"... for ever.Even, when trying to download a new app, a "dratf" icon appears on the ipad, not the app's own icon...
    I've tried to switch off and on the iPad, disconnect and reconnect the itunes id... and nothing works. Even deleting an app, to download it again, doesn't work. It even doesn't ask for my password!!! (Stays with the small square with a circle around, the one that gets "bolder" while downloading... but it doesn't get bolder now. Just stay...).
    Any suggestions? I wouldn't like to reset the iPad, since I've got data in some apps that I wouldn't like lo loose...
    By the way, I can not either delete some apps with thos "draft" icons... even when the alert that appears when trying to do that is shown and select "ok".
    Thank you in advance!
    Best Regards,
    Carlos.

    Hi,
    Thank you, Once_was_lost, but it doesn't work either. I tried it yesterday as an option (I think you're referring to the options of those apps in the settings app).
    The problems are still here... I've been able to update some apps using the PC itunes (connecting the app to it), but all the other apps are still "wating", and I have two new strange things:
    * I cannnot remove the apps that are downloading (at least those that are supposed to be downolading ) . But I could remove one from the PC... and now there is an "empty line" in the "to update apps list".
    * Stranger: though I cannot download new apps or music from the store, I can do in-app purchases!!! In that case, I'm asked for the password and the item downloads. How is it possible?????
    I can download with the same user in the PC, in the iPhone... but not in the iPad .
    I'm getting mad...

    Hi Jim,

    I bought Lr5 only because I got present - my new camera Cannon 70D and because my older Photoshop CS5.5 raw plugin does not recognize. cr2 files.
    Many thanks for your help.

  • Does not do the sorting if I click twice to the same column.

    Hello
    I am new to winforms.
    I have a listview. I want it to toggle the sorting of the records of the listview when the columns are clicked
    Please guide me as to how to do the same.
    The code that I have attached does not do the sorting if I click twice to the same column. I have to click a different column ten the previous column
    The code is attached below
    regards
    Manoj Gokhale
    private void SiteInChargeorSupervisor_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
    this.listView1.ColumnClick += new ColumnClickEventHandler(listView1_ColumnClick);
    private void listView1_ColumnClick(object sender, ColumnClickEventArgs e)
    ListViewSorter Sorter = new ListViewSorter();
    listView1.ListViewItemSorter = Sorter;
    if (!(listView1.ListViewItemSorter is ListViewSorter))
    return;
    Sorter = (ListViewSorter)listView1.ListViewItemSorter;
    if (Sorter.LastSort == e.Column)
    if (listView1.Sorting == System.Windows.Forms.SortOrder.Ascending)
    listView1.Sorting = System.Windows.Forms.SortOrder.Descending;
    else
    listView1.Sorting = System.Windows.Forms.SortOrder.Ascending;
    else
    listView1.Sorting = System.Windows.Forms.SortOrder.Descending;
    Sorter.ByColumn = e.Column;
    listView1.Sort();
    public class ListViewSorter : System.Collections.IComparer
    public int Compare(object o1, object o2)
    if (!(o1 is ListViewItem))
    return (0);
    if (!(o2 is ListViewItem))
    return (0);
    ListViewItem lvi1 = (ListViewItem)o2;
    string str1 = lvi1.SubItems[ByColumn].Text;
    ListViewItem lvi2 = (ListViewItem)o1;
    string str2 = lvi2.SubItems[ByColumn].Text;
    int result;
    if (lvi1.ListView.Sorting == System.Windows.Forms.SortOrder.Ascending)
    result = String.Compare(str1, str2);
    else
    result = String.Compare(str2, str1);
    LastSort = ByColumn;
    return (result);
    public int ByColumn
    get { return Column; }
    set { Column = value; }
    int Column = 0;
    public int LastSort
    get { return LastColumn; }
    set { LastColumn = value; }
    int LastColumn = 0;

    Every time through the ColumnClick event handler, you are creating a new sorter. This means that any values set in the sorter from the previous click are not saved.
    Try this.
    private void listView1_ColumnClick(object sender, ColumnClickEventArgs e)
    // Only create a new sorter if we don't have one already.
    if(listView1.ListViewItemSorter == null)
    ListViewSorter Sorter = new ListViewSorter();
    listView1.ListViewItemSorter = Sorter;
    // And so on with the rest of your code.

    Sounds like someone ripped the movie off of YouTube and it got corrupted in the process. Try getting the movie file again, or try using an alternative movie player such as VLC: http://www.videolan.org
