Not able to integrate SOA Suite with EBS using Oracle APPS Adapter

Hi,
We need to listen to outbound business events of Oracle EBS using BES via Oracle APPS Adapter.
We have created a composite containing Oracle Application Adapter and BPEL Process.
In Apps adapter when configured Outbound Business events "oracle.apps.bom.component.modified" using Dequeue Operation,a corresponding subscriber is created in WF_BPEL_Q for respective event selected.
In Oracle EBS
for "oracle.apps.bom.component.modified" status is enabled and in subscription WF_BPEL_QAGENT is there.
When we are changing any BOM component in Oracle EBS Designer and saving it, a record is being created in "WF_BPEL_QTAB".
BPEL Process( Oracle Apps Adapter Partner Link---> Recieve Actvity ) instances are not being created when any BOM component is being changed.
Oracle Apps Adapter is not able to dequeue the data from WF_BPEL_QTAB.
There is not any error/exception in oracle soa suite server logs for Oracle APPS adapter.
SOA Diagnostics Logs are :

We would like to capture a few business events in oracle BOM and PO that are of interest to us. In order to do this,
we deploy oracle SOA composite with BEPL in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Control. The oracle SOA composite is configured for a particular outbound business event. It should listens on a specific queue WF_BPEL_Q or WF_BPEL_QTAB and de-queues the messages from that Oracle Queue or Oracle AQ Table. In jDeveloper 11g we created a SOA project with oracle applications adapter partner link and a receive.
Specifically we are trying to capture the business outbound event oracle.apps.bom.component.modified just to get the event data in this receive.
Partner link configuration: We added the database connection to the oracle EBS instance. Tested it and we
succeded. Chose ANY_SCHEMA in partner link configuration.
We ensured that the JNDI Name here( eis/Apps/Apps ) match the JNDI name provided in the weblogic-->Deployments--
OracleAppsAdapter -->Configuration --> Outbound Connection Pools. For this outbound resource pool, Connection factory interface was javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory. Property name xADataSourceName was mapped to JNDI name of the configured JDBC datasource in the weblogic. When we created the connection pool. We tested and it worked fine. This data source had the connection pool configured to the oracle applications schema with APPS user.
After adding the partner link with the above configuration, we added a receive. We deployed this configuration to the middleware. We went to the oracle EBS modified a BOM component and we expected to having running BPEL instances against the deloyed composite. However, the problem is we are not having any running instance for the composite.
We found that there are entries in the view AQ$WF_BPEL_QTAB with an ENQ_TIME and ENQ_TIMESTAMP but with no DEQ_TIME or DEQ_TIMESTAMP. The ENQ_TIMESTAMP corresponds to the time we modified BOM in oracle BOM forms/Designer
The data is being written in WF_BPEL_QTAB for the BOM changes but not being dequeued by oracle applications adapter/composites deployed in soa server.
Please help me it quite urgent.
Is there anything we are missing on EBS side to be activited. for the events to be dequeued
Any Help is appreciated.

  • Capturing error messages from Oracle EBS APIs when using Oracle Apps Adapter

    We are using Oracle applications adapter to call Oracle EBS (both R11.5 and R12) APIs. I want to understand the best practice around error handling when using Oracle Apps Adapter to call Oracle EBS.
    Here are some observations:
    1. Most of the APIs return X_RETURN_STATUS and X_MSG_DATA containing the status and messages if any.
    2. If the MSG COUNT is 1 then X_MSG_DATA contains the message, if MSG COUNT is > 1. X_MSG_DATA is empty.
    We know that when calling the API directly from PL/SQL, we need to loop through FND_MSG_PUB to fetch all messages when there are more than 1. How do we achieve the same using Apps Adapter as Apps Adapter generates the PL/SQL block to call the API dynamically at runtime.
    In some APIs, which have table/rec types as input or output parameters, Apps Adapter generates a wrapper package to do conversion from SQL--> PL/SQL and viceversa. In this case the adapter calls the custom package generated which internally calls the API. For these APIs we were able to put the logic to loop through FND_MSG_PUB and return a concatenated string as value of X_MSG_DATA.
    But what should we do for the APIs which do NOT have a rec/table type as input or output, in which case the Apps Adapter directly calls the API and there is no intermediate custom package?
    How are others handling this?

  • Not able to integrate Payment Gateway with WebDynpro for ABAP

    Hi,
       I am not able to integrate the Payment Gateway for Billdesk ( third party software) with Webdynpro for ABAP.
    Summery of the Issue : -
    (*) Data from PORTAL Application to PAYMENT GATEWAY is going Correctly but
    (*) Data from PAYMENT GATEWAY to PORTAL Application is not going correctly.
    Details about the Problem : -
       I have created 3 View in Webdynpro Application for ABAP.
    View 1 -> Sales Order
    View 2 -> Confirm Order
    View 3 -> Success Message
    When I am on the View 2 i,e Confirm Order, I have a UI Element ( LINK TO URL) on this View. When I click on the Link it successful takes me to the Bill desk site(Payment Gateway Integrator).After selecting the Card Type - > Master card, or Visa or Amex, I am routed to the Gateway Site of the Citibank, Where I have to enter the CARD details like Card Number, CVV Number, Expiry Date, and press the Submit Button.
    Which now takes me to the final confirmation site, stating
    1) Order Number
    2) Bank ID
    3) Merchant ID
    4) Amount
    5) Authorize ( APPROVED / NOT APPROVED)
    Now once i click on the Submit button, It transfers the amount of the Customer to my bank account, correctly and goes back to the my portal application.
    Till here it is working correctly, but 1 parameter is missing which is called "msg", and this parameter contains important information regarding the payment. This parameter is sent back form the Gateway Site to my Portal.
    1) Authorize STATUS
    2) Check Sum
    etc... which will be finally required to decided whether I should go on to create the Sales Order for the Customer or not.
    If the Authorize Status = '0300' then only create the Sales Order other wise if the status is any thing else lets say not equal to '0300' then gives the message that the Credit Card is not authorize to process the Sales Order.

    CAn you tell the steps used to deinstall.
    It sounds like the classpath is not correct. But the deinstall scripts found in either SOA_HOME/bpel/bin or SOA_HOME/bin should work out of the box.

    Thanks a lot mate.. It works now.. But i had to do a little more changes.
    I was getting an exception
    java.lang.IllegalThreadStateException: process has not exited
         at java.lang.ProcessImpl.exitValue(Native Method)
         at com.Test.test1(Test.java:94)
         at com.Test.main(Test.java:23)
    when my code was like this:
    File f = new File ("C:\\Program Files\\BMC Software\\CONTROL-M EM 6.2.01\\bin"); // The working directory - not the file to be processed
    String[] command = {f.getAbsolutePath() + "\\deftable.exe", "-u", "abc", "-p", "abc567", "-s", "q23.nz.dq.com", "-src","DBIQ-EURILIBORROB.exp"};
    Process proc = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(command,null,f);
    int exitVal = proc.exitValue();
    } catch (Throwable t){
    t.printStackTrace();
    But it worked when i changed the code as shown below it worked fine
    public static void test1() throws IOException
    File f = new File ("C:\\Program Files\\BMC Software\\CONTROL-M EM 6.2.01\\bin"); // The working directory - not the file to be processed

         Process proc = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(command,null,f);
         InputStream in = proc.getInputStream();
              InputStream err = proc.getErrorStream();
              BufferedReader readIn = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(in));
              BufferedReader readErr = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(err));
              int b;
              int exit = -1;
              boolean bReady = false;
              while (!bReady) {
                   try {
                        exit = proc.exitValue();
                        bReady = true;

  • Not able to control volume up/down while using Digital AV Adapter.

    Hi there,
    I am using iPhone 5, iPad 4 and digital av adapter. Video mirroring works fine but can't control volume while the devices are plugged with the digital av adapter. The volume button just disappear when it is plugged.
    I use 24 inch monitor with speaker and non-apple HDMI cable.
    Wondering anyone has any idea.
    Thank you for your comments in advance.

    When an apple device is connected to a HDMI display e.g. a TV, it is possible indeed usual for the sound output to be also automatically sent over the HDMI connection to the TV speakers. This works fine.
    However, in this configuration the on-screen volume control on the apple device is disabled and the device has no way itself to control the volume level. The volume level can be controlled on the TV. As this stands, this could be considered normal correct behavior.

  • Error while integrating OBIEE report with EBS using Rich Content Container

    I am trying to integrate OBIEE report with EBS using Rich Content Container OAF functionality. I have followed the steps mentioned in oracle Note - Embedding Analytics in Oracle E-Business Suite [ID 974422.1]. When i run my page, the container region comes up with the error message - The requested URL /pls/ghrfpkd2/OracleSSWA.Execute was not found on this server. Can someone please help me with some documents on the steps to integrate OBIEE with EBS using Rich Content Container.

    I'm getting the same error on WebSphere 6.1.5. Is there any solution for this?

  • (BUG?) Oracle Apps Adapter - Unable to setup Concurrent with no parameter

    Hi all.
    I'm facing a problem when using Oracle Apps Adapter 10.1.3.1
    In JDev Adapter Configuration Module Browser, when I want to configure it to execute a concurrent program that has no input parameter, the Module Browser does not work (the OK button does nothing)
    Examples of concurrent with no parameters are:
    1) Discrete Manufacturing->Inventory->Material Transaction->Open Interfaces->Inventory Transaction Open Interface->Concurrent Programs->Material Transactions Interface Manager (This one is the main issue I'm facing)
    2) Supply Chain Management->Shop Floor Management->Lot Based Job->Open Interfaces->Lot Based Job Open Interface->Concurrent Programs->Manager: Lot Move Transactions
    Other concurrents that have parameters all seems to pass in the configuration wizard.
    Does any one know about this issue?
    Thanks.
    Denis

    We've already been in conversation with the AppsAdapter developers about this.
    Part of the problem is that you have to have NLS_LANG set correctly on your PC. So if the NLS_LANG on your Apps install is US then the PC needs to be set like this also.
    I have some documentation which I can forward if you send me your contact details to [email protected]
    Not saying that this will solve all your problems, as we found a few with this adapter but hopefully will put you on the right track.

  • Installing Oracle SOA Suite with the WebLogic Server

    Hi all,
    I am trying to install Oracle SOA Suite with the WebLogic Server. After following the step-by-step instruction in the "Installing Oracle SOA Suite with the WebLogic Server" document, I ran into the following situation: I have a working WebLogic Server with all applications deployed. However the BPELPM application is in Failed state.
    When I try to run the application, I get following exception (AdminServer.log):
    ####<Mar 30, 2009 9:46:43 AM EEST> <Warning> <Deployer> <javadev2> <AdminServer> <[STANDBY] ExecuteThread: '1' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <1238395603163> <BEA-149004> <Failures were detected while initiating start task for application 'BPELPM'.>

    Hi Boris,
    Looks like you have not run the post upgrade script for 10.1.3.4.
    You need to install SOA 10.1.3.4 Basic Installation. Then start following : http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12524_01/core.1013/e13058/weblogic.htm#BHCIIBFB
    You basically, first install 10.1.3.4 basic SOA install, Apply the Opatch 7337034 (HOTPLUG: SOASUITE 10.1.3.4 ON WEBLOGIC 9.2 - CHANGES FOR HOTPLUGGABILITY). Install WLS 9.2 MP3.
    Now, Download the Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 WebLogic Server 9.2 : patch : 7490612.
    Then , Modify the following mandatory installation properties in the Weblogic_SOA10134_Base\SOADomain.properties file as per the documentation above.
    Cheers

  • How To Install Oralce SOA Suite with peoplesoft.

    HI
    I completed the environment setup with People Tools 8.49, FSCM 9.0 Application, Tuxedo 9.1 and Weblogic 9.2 with Oracle 10g Database.
    But now i want to install Oracle 10g SOA Suite with Advanced Installation (J2EE Server, Webserver and SOA Suite).
    Please provide or guide me the steps to install SOA Suite for my peoplesoft application.What things i have to configure and how to configure to use BPEL Process manager and XML Publisher like things.
    thanks
    srikanth

    The install guide is in the CD itself. There are some on the internet but they may be too complicated for what you are after.
    ubuntu is not supported but I believe it is doable, So it should only be used for dev and testing purposes. there are a few hits if you search on ubuntu. If you want linux these are the certified options
    Oracle Enterprise Linux: as part of the Oracle Unbreakable Linux Program, Oracle offers for download or on CD:
    Oracle Enterprise Linux 4 fully compatible with RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 AS/ES
    Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 fully compatible with Red Hat Linux 5 Server and Advanced Platform.
    Oracle continues to work with Linux vendors to certify Oracle products running on
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
    Asianux
    good luck
    cheers
