Not able to ssh from one EC2 instance to another

I was trying to work with Oracle AMIs on Amazon cloud (EC2 instances).
1) Created 2 EC2 instances of an Oracle database AMI ( based on Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 5)
2) I have opened ports in my security group associated with these EC2 instances.
i) TCP 22 (SSH) - 0.0.0.0/0 ( Everybody)
ii) ICMP ALL - 10.0.0.0/8 ( To enable ping functionality)
So i am able to ping successfully from one EC2 to another with the public DNS, but ssh hangs
a) Login to EC2 instance #1 from my desktop - SUCCESS
b) ssh public_ip_of_instance_2 22 (HANGS).....
c) Login to EC2 instance #2 from my desktop - SUCCESS
d) ssh public_ip_of_instance_1 22 (HANGS).....
Any ideas ? I worked with a default UBUNTU ec2 instance in amazon (public AMIs) and i did not face any problem doing an ssh from one EC2 to another.
Is there something inside OEL (Oracle Enterprise Linux) that locks down ssh on port 22 from one instance to another ?

I could solve it myself. Thanks for the time.
The problem was I tried to navigate directly from the component ''BT125H_TASK' to the component 'CRMCMP_CMG', as I could not find any parent for BT125H_TASK earlier.
Now I could find its parent component which is 'BT110M_ACT'.
The outbound plug created in the task component has to be added to the component usage of 'BT110M_ACT' and the delegation should be done. The other things are the same. It works fine.

Try using HRMS configuration workbench. For this you might require support from your DBA for configuring the same. Once configured, you can move the items you want.

I need to copy a table with ORDImage columns from one DB to a different DB in a global/distributed transaction. What is the best way to to this:
Do I really need to do the "insert empty ORDImage, select for update, Load BLOB data into ORDImage Proxy, update" cycle for inserting the ORDImage in the target DB or is there a better way?

Migrate jobs from one OEM instance to another

Hi,
We have an OEM 11g dev server, where we are testing and creating many job definitions.
We also have an OEM 10g prod server, that we will soon upgrade to 11g.
Is there a way or a tool to migrate all jobs from the OEM 11g dev server to the OEM 11g prod server?

It might be benefiicial to list more detail. What versions of OEM, assuming 10.2.0.5? What version of DB, in our case it was 10.1.0.4.0.
Our path was to export 10.1.0.4 into 11.1.0.7.0, then upgrade to 11.2.0.3.0 which all of our DB's are.
However, from Collaborate and from forums/communities, the consensus was it was better to install OEM 12c from scratch and skip 11g all-together.
So that's where we are. Installed OEM 12c on another server (we wanted to decommision our 10g server anyway).
Running OEM 10g/12c Parallel (Agents on different ports). Configuring as we go. OEM 12c I will say, at least IMHO (In My Humble Opinion) is a a complete difference from OEM 10g (rule-wise). Not that there are no similarities, just how you get there is a lot different.

Livecache database instance is not able to connect from DBMGUI

We are facing very critical problem. Livecache database instance is not able to connect from DBMGUI .
DB instace is down currently, i checked X_server is running. when i am trying to conect using DBMGUi its going on hang status, same way if i am trying to start using LC10, its going on hang..
Could anybody please help me out if faced this problem.
Earlier it was working fine. But now It 's not able to connect through DBM tool.
Any help would of great help..

Not able to copying files/folders from one Document Library to another Document Library using Open with Browser functionality

Hi All,
We have SharePoint Production server 2013 where users are complaining that they are not able to copy or move files from one document library to another document library using “Open with Explorer” functionality.
We tried to activate publishing features on production server but it did not work. We users reported following errors:

Tried to map the document libraries and still not get the error to copy files:
In our UAT environment we are able to copy and move folders from using “Open with Explorer” though.
We have tried to simulate in the UAT environment but could not reproduce the production environment.
Any pointers about this issue would be highly appertained.

Hi John and all,
One the newly created web applications that we created few days back and navigated to document library, clicked on “Open with Explorer”, we get this error.
We're having a problem opening this location in file explorer. Add this website to your trusted and try again.
We added to the trusted site in Internet Explorer for this web application, cleared the cache and open the site with same document library but still get the same above error.
However, another existing web application (In same the Farm) that we are troubleshooting at the moment, we are able click on “Open with Explorer”, login in credentials opens and we entered the details we are able to open the document
library and tried to follow these steps:
From Windows Explorer (using with Open with Explorer), tried to copy or move a files to
source document library.
From Windows Explorer moved this file to another destination document library and we got this error.
What we have to achieve is users should be able to copy files and folders using
Open with Explorer functionality. We don’t know why Open with Explorer
functionality not work working for our environment.
Are we doing something wrong?
We have referred to following websites.
we hope concepts of copying / Moving files are similar as SharePoint 2010. Our production environment is SharePoint 2013.

Enterprise Manager not able to connect to the Database Instance

After logging into the OEM as a SYS user , I was able to mount the database . The Database status shown to me as below,
Listener - up
Agent Connection to the Instance - unavailable
Database instance- down - message - Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance.
After that I tried to connect to the database through sql developer , I was able to connect using connection for the SYS user and able to run the queries .d
So How can I be able to connect to the Database Instance using OEM ?
Please suggest me what to do or what to check ...

I have trouble to connect em console to database instance. My database is 11.2.0.3 and before this I did the patching from version 11.2.0.1, and now i cannot get fully functionality of em console.

I did recreation, dropping and recreating with emca, but no success.

You need to first of all, Connect to the Database as SYSDBA (because your were not connected), then start the database (because it is not started).
If you already used the username and password in the command prompt and you are sure that the database is already stared, then you need to set the ORACLE_SID before you open SQLPlus. This is because if SQLPlus does not know the SID you are connecting to, it simply thinks it is not up or has no service hence the message "Connected to an idle instance".

User not able to print from SAP

Hi guys,
User is not able to print from SAP. The printer is directly connected to his PC. It is not a network printer. The user is able to print at OS level perfectly. IN SP01, it shows in green and the print job has been completed successfully. I can see the output request. Its all fine in SAP. I am not sure why it is not printing from SAP. Please help ?

did you already defined your printer on SAP Server using tcode SPAD ?
What kind of printing you're using ?
My suggest for simplest one is create new output devices.
Type tcode SPAD
Give simple name
Choose SAPWIN for device type (if you're using WIndows clients)
On Access Method tab
Choose Host Spool Access Method F : Front end Printing or G :
For Host Printer fill with __DEFAULT (remember double underscore)
save and test it.

10g Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance

I am running a Oracle 10g database in Solaris 10 server. When i am trying to connect to the enterprise manager it says Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance.
The database instance is open,the listener is up and the agent connection also says that it succeeded.
The server houses two 10g databases and the EM was working properly till yesterday. Kindly Help.
