I want to deploying "coldfusion MX 7.0.2" on "Tomcat 5.5.17".

How different tomcat 5.0.28 and 5.5.17 ?
The CFMX initial setup doesn't/wont setup for Tomcat.

SMICM indicates J2EE status as not configured and not started
I am running WAS6.40 with J2EE add-in. Until recently the J2EE was working fine. Was able to access it using http://<hostname>:50000/ but recently it stopped working. There is nothing obvious in the logs & traces. SMICM indicates J2EE status as not configured and not started. Where else can I look for? How do I increase trace level?
Can you be more specific? Which logs and traces did you look at?
The default trace, dispatcher/server logs should indicate what happened (and they should also be written to during a restart)....
Also check the std* files in your work directory... -
HA Configuration and AP migration
I have been tasked with setting up 3 5508 WLC controllers in an HA configuration and migrating 150 AP's from a WISM setup currently in place. I haven't been able to find too much documentation on setting up the 3 WLC's in an HA config and other then setting them up in an active standby mode I am not too sure what steps to take from a programming and topology perspective to get these up and running. Also I am looking for more information on migrating the access points to the new controllers without reprovisioning them all. Is this possible? Any information on these topics would be greatly appreciated.
I cannot say which one it will be since I do not have a final plan yet. The initial request shows that 2 WLC's are active while one is in standby. I do not believe this is a supported configuration based on this link.

C6250 on Win XP will not configure and install
I installed HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers ver 10.0.1.
Doing a network install, the application sees the printer as a network device.
However, as it tries to configure and install, I get an ERROR, all it shows me is a large red "X" between the printer and the router, not other information.
I am running Win XP 32 bit on an HP (Compaq) 6910p Notebook.
I downloaded the HP Home Network Diagnostic Utility and I was able to send a command to the printer to print a diagnositc page (from my notebook, wireless)
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times. I tried downloading this patch : Critical Update to Correct a PC to Printer Communication Issue but it faied. I tried downloading this update: Critical Update to Enhance Reliability of Network and USB Connectivity and Improve System Responsive... but it told me I had no SW that required this update.
Any ideas ?It sounds like you are unable to scan and that is why you need to install the printer. One problem I've seen is that a mutlifunction adapter for your product can be in the device manager prior to installation and that causes the device to fail to install. To open the device manager, go to the control panel and then click device manager (or hold the windows key and press the pause key, then click device manager). Once device manager is open, click the view menu and then click the "Show hidden devices" item. You should now see an item in the list in the main window for Multifunction adapters. Look for an entry under Multifunction adapters of "Photosmart C6250". If you find this entry, right-click on it and select "Uninstall" from the drop down menu. Now try to install the printer by inserting you CD and selecting "Add a device". The install should now succeed. If you didn't find an entry for your printer under multifunction adapters then your problem is elsewhere.

because of which im not able to complete your steps and im not able to set display environment variable and my installation is not getting started.

How to configure and set a default view for contents of a data set
Here is my scenario:
I have a document library where each item is a "Plan". "Plan" is of a custom content type that inherits from a Document Set content type but has some additional attributes such as Plan Type. Inside each Plan, each item is
a Plan Document which is of custom content type Plan Document which inherits from Document content type but has some additional attributes e.g. Document Status.
So the hierarchy is:
All Plans (document library)
Plan 1 (custom content type that inherits from Document Set but also has a "Plan Type" attribute)
Plan Document (custom content type that inherits from Document but also has a "Document Status" attribute
When I click on the document library, I want to see all the folders (e.g. Plan 1) where one of the columns will be "Plan Type"
When I click on an individual Plan (e.g. Plan 1) I want to see the contents of that custom document set. At this point, since this page shows contents of one document set, I want to see the column "Document Status" but NOT Plan Type since
Plan Type applies to the document set as a whole, not to an individual item in that document set.
However, I don't think I have it set up correctly because right now the "Plan Type" column is visible both on the list of all document sets AND on the page that shows the contents of one document set.

where one person said "When you click on a Document Set content type in library settings, one of the options is "Document Set settings". The last option in this dialogue allows you to select a defined view on the library that will be used
to show the contents of that Document Set." I don't see that view selection. The last item on the document set settings page is "Update List and Site Content Types". The field before that is for customizing the Welcome page.
However, I don't want to customize the Welcome Page as a whole, I just want to customize the columns that are displayed on the list of content of this document set.
thanksI finally found the answer:
At the document library level, create a new view to use when displaying the files in the document set
Go to the document library settings
Select your custom content type (in my case it was "Plan")
In the next screen select Document Set settings
Select your newly created view at the Welcome Page View section
Press Ok
Now the default All Documents view will be shown when displaying all the document sets and the newly created view will be displayed when viewing one document set with the files within. -
Computer keeps Configuring and setting up for first time use
I have a toshiba A505-S6980 that has been working fine for a couple years. Recently I had performance issues and suspected virus, spyware so I did a recovery with the original discs I made when I first got the computer. Four of the six discs reloaded fine. It did not ask for the last two discs "Environment 64 bit and Applications and Drives. I also have a System Repair disc. After loading the four recovery discs the computer now keeps recycling between preparing for first time use, configuring system, reboot and then back to preparing for first time use,etc. I think I'm close to getting this, but need a last bit of help.

Comcast and Airport on Computer Saying Not Configured
Hey everyone,
I just set up my high speed internet from Comcast, the installation disk said I had a connection error, but everything appeared to be working and connected correctly. I called tech support and we messed around with some stuff, so now I have wireless Internet, but my Airport in the menu bar of my computer shows that it is off, and when I want to "turn it on" it the only options are "not configured" and "open network preferences." Do I need to reinstall the drivers for Airport or something?Your MacBook Pro is not recognizing the built-in wireless card. This problem has nothing to do with the wireless router.

NcSetAttr not working when setting Transmit mode
I am using a NI-USB 8472 (low speed CAN @ 33333kbps) device and am trying to set it up for the wakeup mode which states in the devices spec that it has this capability. However, attached is the quick test code that returns and error when using the ncSetAttr.vi to change the transciver mode from normal to wakeup
The error returned from the ncSetAttr.vi is 0xBFF62104: The property ID, attribute ID, or operation code that you provided is invalid. Solution: Read the function description and verify that you provide ad valid ID.
As far as I can see I have everything configured and set appropriately for it to work. Anyone that could help out with why the hardware is not properly being configured for this mode would be appreciated.

Time machine not configured in menu bar but when accessed all seems ok?
I have an apple time machine just purchased in nov 2011 i set it up for my macbook pro and all was fine, now the icon in the top menu shows that time machine is not configured and time machine button wont turn on in sys preferences but i can access time machine in airport utility and all seems fine, i don't get it nothing has been changed by me yet it says something has and i don't know what?????
Are you talking about Time Machine (Apple's backup software) or your Time Capsule?
The menubar icon is for Time Machine; Airport Utility is where you configure your Time Capsule and network.
If Time Machine is not configured, it's not making backups, but you can still use the Time Capsule, both to use your network and, if you want, to put files on it.
If you're not making backups, you really should. You don't have to use Time Machine, but you should be backing your Mac up with another backup app so when (not if) something awful happens to your Mac, you don't lose all your data. -

The Tabular Form Element based on item_type column of SQL query is Displayed As Select List (based on LOV) referencing a named list of values which have the following properties

What I want to do is only display the Select List for the FK depending on the value of the Select List on Item Type, e.g.

Item_Type is 'BB' then display Select List for backup_dev_id, do not display and set to NULL the Select Lists for hardware_id and hardware_os_id.

There are properties on elements to conditionally display it but how do we reference the values of the SQL query Updateable region? they are not given a page item name?
Also on the Tabular For Elements there is an Edit tick against a report item - however when you go to the Column Attributes there is not a property with which you can control the Edit setting.
What's the best way of implementing this requirement in APEX 3.1?

I have a multi-row region that displays values and allows entries in a number of fields.Provide exact details of how this has been implemented. (An example on apex.oracle.com is always a good way to do this.)
I should like the fields to be conditional in that they do not permit entry, but still display, if certain conditions apply (e.g. older rows greyed out). Can this be done? Almost anything can be done, often in multiple ways. Which are appropriate may be dependent on a particular implementation, the skills available to implement it, and the effort you're willing to expend on it. Hence it's necessary to provide full details of what you've done so far... -
Airport: Not Configured after 10.4.7 update
I just bought a new macbook 2.0Ghz, proceeded through the first-time installation wizard setup my wifi settings, and everything worked fine.
At first boot in macosx i had my wifi working and i was able to browse and download things.
I installed the 10.4.7 macosx update, restarted, then lost my wifi connection.
The signal indicator reads
Airport: Not Configured
and in the network settings under 'Network Port Configuration' I see a greyed out 'AirPort' configuration. I can"t enable it. I can't add a new one either since the only choices are Bluetooth, Builtin firewire/ethernet, 6 to 4
I found a knowledge base article describing a similar problem:

But the described workaround doesn't seem to work.
I also tried to reinstall the 10.4.7 update using the combo installer, the issues remain.
I ran also the permission repair utility at various stages in the process, it never detected any errors.
In the System Profiler under network/Airport section, i see:
Airport Card Information:
Type: AirPort Extreme [..]
Locale: Worldwide
Firwmare: 0.1.24
Current Wireless Network: AirPort is currently turned off
I know the card is there and working, since linux happily uses it when i boot in linux.
Has anyone any clue about what's happening ?
Is there a simple 'enable' button somewhere, or is that a known isse with 10.4.7 updater, how can i revert to 10.4.6 then ?

Macbook Mac OS X (10.4.7)It's actually a bit more weird:
When stepping through the first-time boot wizard, it asks to select the wifi essid from a list, the scan is ok and shows my network, and i type the WEP key in the box, click next. The 'Configuring your computer' blinks then the setup goes on and asks for my .Mac account and so on.
After the wizard completes i'm able to surf the web and connected BUT !
The signal meter is always empty and clicking on it states 'Airport: Not Configured'. When i open the network preferences it says under 'current status' that i'm using the builtin ethernet device ??!!
The IP and dhcp re-lease stuff work in the UI even if it's clearly not the builtin ethernet card that i'm using since the IP is from the wifi router, and there is no cable plugged in, and i can access the internet.
No mention of Airport port in the setup, so i can't configure it.
As soon as i restart the connection is gone, and the setup created by the first-time wizard is gone.
So the situation is now i have a 10.4.6 os with no airport..
