NPD - no edit authorization in Activity's routing requirements TAB

Hello,
I set up all activity templates with several steps and several functional areas per step.
It means each functional area is the owner of a specific step.
These areas should be responsible for completing all assigned tasks within their step BUT they must not have permission to edit routing requirement TABs.
Only one team (P2M Team) should be authorized to change "amber in/red in days", for example.
This team is not necessarily owner of activity steps.
Would it be possible to setup NPD module accordingly?

If it is so, I do not agree with this system design.
Let's use the example you gave.
we are in step 2 where the owner is P2M Team.
You say the owner can make all changes he wants, in the routing requirement too.
I previously set up in its related activity template as follows:
in amber days : 10
in red days : 20
P2M team now goes and changes this setting as follows:
in amber days : 100
in red days : 200
This team is lazy and does not want to go past deadlines.
System does not keep track of it so P2M team can still blame other team to change it.

I found these Actions in Identity-Managements, where I can do settings for a virtual Provider.
     jms.default          topic.all.all
     jms.default          temp.topic.all.all
     jms.default          administration.all.all
     jms.default          queue.all.all
     jms.default          temp.queue.all.all
So I will create a new Virtual Provider "myProvider" assing my JMS-Queue to this provider and play around with the parameter settings "jms.myProvider" and assign these actions to a test user.
Furthermore I found these actions in Identy Management. I think in the first step I won't change anything at these parameters.
     jms_provider          topic.all.all
     jms_provider          temp.topic.all.all
     jms_provider          administration.all.all
     jms_provider          queue.all.all
     jms_provider          temp.queue.all.all
I let you know the result of my tests.

Edit Authorization at Entity Level

Problem: I am trying to Edit Authorization at entity level but my changes are not getting saved.
Discription:
I have use case that I want to make an entity read only for a role defined in my jazn.
To do so, I am opening my entity, and in struture window...on right clicking the entity name I get this option to Edit Authorization.
On Edit Authorization window, I get name of all the roles listed and options to select Read, Update and Delete in from of each Role.
When I select "Read" for the role I want only read access and close this Edit Authorization window...my changes are not getting saved.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Or any other way I can restrict users of a specific role to change the data for an entity.

Hi,
not sure what you mean by "changes are not saved". Are you saying they are physically not saved in that they don't show in the jazn-data.xml file ? If so, then this sounds odd and you should file a bug. If it is only that authorization is not enforced,have a look at this video as authorization on entities is a two step task

Cannot open "Edit Authorization..." anymore

I have the weird problem, but it actually made the life very difficult. For some time, I am not able to open "Edit Authorization..." wizard in JDeveloper anymore.
It used to work fine, but something must affected the environment in JDeveloper.
Manually updating app-jaz-data.xml is long and tedious, and error-prone.
Does anyone have any idea how to enable it?

No idea how to enable it again, but I would try to launch JDeveloper from the console by executing <JDEV_HOME>\jdev\bin\jdev.exe (instead of jdevW.exe) and see if you get a stack trace there.

You cannot; it's intentionally disabled to guard against accidental file loss. If you press Option when pasting the files, they'll be moved instead of copied.

PI7.1 ESR Edit Authorization

After I logined PI7.1 ESR, I created a namespace in a software, and I created a folder,DT,MT,MM,OM, and so on. then I want to assign a authorization to my created things.For example, I rightly click on folder,and select edit authorization,I assign user:xxx a excute report authorization.I log off and login again,I can delete the folder. why? thanks!

Edit Authorization not supported by all the objects (one being DT)....so it may also happen that Folder is out of the supporting list.

F0153 No authorization for activity 03 in company code

While I am running automatic payment programme the spool is generated and when i go and view the spool iam getting the error
" F0153 No authorization for activity 03 in company code". I have all the authorisations for doing the same and in fact have SAP ALL profile for my user id.
Can some one guide me on this.

I can't find a single use for the router hostname, yet the Linksys WRT54G version 5 firmware v1.00.6 wireless router REQUIRES a hostname, even though nothing actually uses that hostname.
Why does the router require a hostname (why can't we just leave that field blank)?

Have you opened Photoshop or any other Adobe app that Bridge works with? You need to do this if you've upgraded PS or just signed up for CC.

The Process Chain Maintenance (transaction RSPC) is used to define, change and view process chains.
Upload Monitor (transaction RSMO or RSRQ (if the request is known)
The Workload Monitor (transaction ST03) shows important overall key performance indicators (KPIs) for the system performance
The OS Monitor (transaction ST06) gives you an overview on the current CPU, memory, I/O and network load on an application server instance.

Most of the time it means you have an expired Adobe trial on your computer. Bridge is waiting for it to give command. Find and uninstall the trial.

Usually this points to having some kind of earlier trial version still installed on your system. However without more details you are not likely to find an answer. Try this for a start:
