OAM support for directory mapping
Is there a way OAM can be set up to point to one directory for a user store and point to another directory for the authorization data ( directory mapping ) ?
Thanks
OAM native (out of the box) capabilities for authorization are based on accessing data from the authenticated user's LDAP profile.
So, one way to do this is to facilitate a process to get the data you need onto the user profile. Think provisioning process, some sort of sync, or directory virtualization / composite profile...
Otherwise, OAM provides you with the Authorization API which is what you use to build an authZ plugin to use when the data you need (in order to make an authZ decision) is not on the authenticated user's profile. This plugin needs to meet a specified OAM interface but what it connects to and the logic that it executes are completely in the hands of the developer.
See the OAM Developer's Guide for more information.
Hope that helps,
Mark

Add support for <destination-include directory-path="mydir"/>.
This will process each file ending in ".xml" as an individual <destination-include file-path=""/> element, allowing a web application to define a directory of destination configuration snippets.
Added a new API to ConfigurationFileResolver.java: getFiles(String dir).
This returns a list of XML files contained in this directory relative to the current configuration file.
Updated both the ServletResourceResolver and the LocalFileResolver with implementations.

Hello,
¿Does Cisco support acceleration of MAPI Encrypted traffic with WAAS solution?
¿Are there any plans to support this funcionality?
ThanksThe encrypted MAPI feature is in extended beta trials. You must contact [email protected]
with your Cisco account team on the CC for approvals, before enabling this feature. Only approved customers will be supported for beta evaluations. The encrypted MAPI feature will be made generally available in a following release.

Hi all,
I'd like to confirm which Domain/Forest functional levels of Active Directory is supported for "Active Directory Resource Pool Synchronization" in Project Server 2013.
I guess that 2003 or later is supported, but my customer required reliable sources.
I googled and searched article at TechNet, but I couldn't find.
Could anyone inform me the article about that?
Thank you in advance.
Kaori.Hi Michael and all,
Anyway I solved this issue.
I couldn't find article that I desired, so I asked advice to my colleagues and they told that the functional level 2003 or later are supported in their experience.
In addition, I found these articles about SharePoint sync limitations.

Where is Support for Windows Update issues for Windows Server?
Where is Support for Windows Update Issues for Windows Server?
Windows Update keeps prompting to install an important update, KB2871690 and continually fails with error code 0x800f922
I ran all the fixes I can find, it still fails.
I also tried the manual install, fails.
Microsoft used to provide no charge support for Windows Update issues. They additionally offer online fixes for other versions of windows, but not server, and I can't find a forum.
I also cannot ignore the update, it continually prompts.
I ran the windowsupdate.diagcab and it continually states it fixes Windows Update error 0x80070057, by resetting windows update data store. It further states it fixes Problems installing recent updates.
But it doesn't. I've run it 50 times, and it says the same thing every time.
So there is no support for windows update, and no support for windowsupdate.diagcab.
What's the deal?I've done the SFC/ SCANNOW and DISM
here is the cbs.log

Share OID for OAM and for Siteminder
Hello,
Has anyone deployed or know if the same OID deployment can be used for OIM-OAM and for policy store of Siteminder? OIM-OAM will have its own user and policies stored in OID, while Siteminder would have its own policy store in the same OID deployment.
If possible, what are the challenges/disadvantages you see/have faced?
Thanks.Ninad,
It appears you answered your own question. If product A is certified for a certain version of OID and product B is not yet certified, then you would have to wait to upgrade until both are certified if you want to stay within the support policies for both product A and B. That's the major constraint.
As Sagar noted, the policy stores for both OAM (10g) and SiteMinder can be separated into their own directory instances, so they can be tuned separately. OAM 11g no longer stores policy data inteh directory, so it's a non-issue for that product, anyway. However,you will have to apply each products' user schemas to all your users so they can work with either product. Here are the possible issues:
- Your directory server will have to index both OAM and SiteMinder attributes, so it has to index a lot of stuff, which is potentially a lot of overhead for the directory to maintain.
- Each product maintains separate attributes for password policies, so if you enforce password policies using both products, you could run into problems and confusion for your end users.
I'm just wondering why you aren't using one Access Mgmt product for everything? Are you trying to transition from SiteMinder to OAM or something? -
After sucessfulling installing the SharePoint Foundation 2013, when i try to access the Secure Stored Service Application i get the below error

I am looking for a map app that will allow me to place pins where my clients offices are on a map and keep them save every time I open the app. Does anyone out there know of an app that will do this?
"Motion 5" is your friend.
Michael Wohl has a nice 15 video series (free) about Motion 5 at http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/motion5101-overview-and-workflow-guide (right side)
This is a "teaser" series to sell his tutorials but it is really good. Just saw it yesterday for the first time.
While all you want is just to place pins, realize that Motion has so much more. All kinds of effects and they can be really customized. Maybe put their street address, contact name, and phone number by the pin?
Motion 5: cheap at $49.99 (just got my download two days ago)
Motion 5: Support Community athttps://discussions.apple.com/community/professional_applications/motion_5
If you're using the map for, say, deliveries, and use an iPad, what you could do is have a general map of the area imported into Motion, create the pins and whatever, then save (share?) it to the iPad.

/usr/ccs/bin/as: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 Compiler Common 6.2 Solaris_9_CBE 2001/04/02Note that the last 2 lines seem to suggest that a Sun assembler is used as the back-end of gcc. I am not sure whether the failure to compile the first file (with __thread) was due to the incompatibility of this Sun assembler. In the first case, the error msg was emitted before these 2 lines are printed.
I further read a post about gcc 3.3.3's inability to compile code that has __thread in it, on a HP-UX 11.11: http://forums12.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=109447627+1216595175060+28353475&threadId=1148976 The conclusion seems to suggest that "the 2.17 GNU assembler did not support thread local storage" and gcc sees that and thus disallows TLS.
If the assembler is the culprit, then does anyone know whether this "Sun WorkShop 6 update 2" assembler in my installation can work with TLS? And how come a Sun assembler becomes the back-end of gcc? I read that gas (the GNU assembler) is the default backend of gcc. (How) can one specify the assembler to be used for gcc?
As an aside, I am able to compile my file on this same Solaris 9/UltraSparc platform using the Sun Studio 12 C Compiler:

acomp: Sun C 5.9 SunOS_sparc Patch 124867-01 2007/07/12Interestingly, the output no longer mentions the "/usr/ccs/bin/as: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2" assembler.Just as another comparison, I compiled a file without __thread on the Solaris 9/UltraSparc platform using gcc 4.0.4. Not surprisingly it worked. But I no longer see the mention of the Sun assembler as in the case of gcc 3.4.4. Nor did I see the mention of "GNU assembler" as in the case of gcc 4.0.4/Solaris 10/x86. Instead, I saw something called "iropt" and "cg". Does anyone know what they are?

No Adobe support for CC Team Members if you have installed Parallels on your Mac
No Adobe support for CC Team Members if you have installed Parallels on your Mac
First let me make it clear my iMac is running native OS X 10.8.5 and all Adobe Creative Cloud Apps are install on the iMac running natively in the OS X system environment. I only have Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac installed to run Microsoft Office software in Windows 7 when needed (because PowerPoint for Mac sucks big time compared to the PC version)… absolutely no Adobe CC Apps have been installed on the Parallels virtual PC environment.
I have been having problems with Creative Cloud Desktop not updating so I uninstalled it and tried to install the latest version from Adobe. I then get the following error:
We've encountered the following issues:
There seems to be a problem accessing a critical file/directory during download. For troubleshooting tips. please visit our customer support page. (Error code: 204)
[retry] [cancel]
This has happened all last week. Because we have been so busy at work I waited until the weekend to contact the 24/7 chat support.
This was going well. I was sharing my desktop with the agent who was adjusting the permissions of some folder. The problem came when he launched chrome on Parallels and not on the MAC and tried to install the PC EXE version of CC desktop. When I pointed this out to the Agent he instantly stop the screen share and stated in the chat box that virtual computers are not supported and I must find my own solution without giving me an opportunity to explain.
Every time I tried to start the chat again I was cut-off while trying to explain that Adobe CC was running natively under a native OS X and the Virtual PC was a separate to this
Only after my 4th attempt (having per cut an pasted my arguement into the chat box) did a get any further. The Agent refused to continue to try and fix my problem but did say the Adobe engineers are aware of the "204" error
Has anyone else had this "204" error installing Creative Cloud Desktop or can direct me to a solution it would be much appreciatedUnfortunately I am still getting the 204 error
I download the Creative Cloud Desktop App at home and brought it into work to install — which failed
I then tried to install the same file on the only Mac in the office not on Creative Cloud and it installed with out any problems
I then tried plugging my iMac into the same ethernet socket incase it was a problem with the ethernet socket. No luck it still had the 204 error
These are the Adobe download log files which show errors but they me nothing to me

User defined function in java for message mapping
I wrote the following user defined function in java for message mapping and mapped vendor with this. The aim of this function is to write a error file at defined path when i send empty Vendor value from File to RFC-Function module BAPI_PO_CREATE. The "err.txt" error file is not written when i execute in TEST but the value "ERROR" is returned to destination Vendor Field.
public String validation(String a, Container container) {
//write your code here
if (a.equals("")) {
try {
String source = "Vendor cannot be empty";
char buffer[] = new char[source.length()];
source.getChars(0, source.length(), buffer, 0);
for (int i = 0; i < buffer.length; i +=2)
f0.write(buffer<i>);
f0.close();
FileWriter f1 = new FileWriter("/10.10.0.55/sapmnt/trans/edixiin/err.txt");
f1.write(buffer);
f1.close();
catch (IOException e) {}
return "ERROR";Hi Senthil,
Check these things :
1) Whether you have permission to create a file in that directory.
2) try giving this
10.10.0.55
sapmnt
trans
edixiin
err.txt
3) Also check for permissions.
Hope this will help you.

MoHi,
Have a look at:
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9320116
Directions on the installation/configuration and requirements of the outlook connector (for 2005Q4 since you haven't told us what version of the comm suite you are using) are available at docs.sun.com e.g.
http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/prod/2783#hic
Outlook connector requires that you have UWC (a.k.a communication express) installed and configured, which has it's own requirements. UWC provides the single web-interface to mail & calendar & address-book. Outlook uses the address-book functionality via UWC, IMAP and SMTP for messaging/email, plus WCAP for calendar.

Shane.

How do you separate favorites for Phone App and Facetime App?
I was wondering if there was a way to separate the phone favorites from the Facetime favorites. I find it kind of annoying that I can't just add a Facetime favorite without it appearing in my phone favorites.
