Reversal of cash flow in forward transaction

I have cretaed Forward contract and posted the entries also.
But i want to reverse one of the entry.
Please help me on reversal of the same

Hi,
What was the flow you used in SAP?   Because you cannot do a partial settlement of contract in SAP.  During settlement process, what ever amount you give, that is the final amount of the forward contract.
By the way what is the business logic of this requirement.  You normally settle the full amount on the settlement day.  Can you give full details of your transaction like purchase  and sale currency, amounts, date etc and your exact requirement.

Ravi

  • FTR_EDIT Reverse Cash Flow Issue

    Hi,
We are trying to reverse a cash flow on FTR_EDIT, but are receiving an error that there is "rest stock" and the reversal cannot be completed. The flow we are trying to reverse is due the same day as the final repayment so when we choose to reverse the payment it will also pick up the final repayment. Has anyone had this issue before? Prior to coming to FTR_EDIT, we reversed the F111 document that the payment created, and went to F8BW to reverse the payment request. Are there any additional steps that we need to take in order to reverse the payment or is there something different that we need to do since the payment and final repayment are due the same day?
Thanks for all of your help!

  • Remove/delete duplicate cash flows on facility

    Hi all
Due to a error in SAP std, for a facility a number of duplicate commision flows are created when drawing a contract against a facility. The issue is solved with the implementation of SAP note 1389873 so no more duplicates are created.  Is there a way that I can remove/delete/reset a spesific cashflow manually?  I would like to avoid to have a it removed directly from the table(s)

    Hi,
OK, since SAP given solution for avoiding creation of new flows, it should work with change mode of transaction as well. Try to reset the flows in trasaction if the flows are still scheduled. You cannot seperate flows with same date & update type from activity posting/marked as posting. TBB1_LC can be used for marking flows as fixed. Also, there is a function for reversing flows from Cash flow tab of transaction for money market products. Please check that as well.
And finally, the possible solution will be reverse the entire transaction and create a new one instead.

  • Cash Flow Statement (Indirect Method)

    Dear Experts,
I am trying to prepare the cash flow statement.  Transaction figures during the period are tallying with the balance sheet, i.e., Net cash flow during the period.  But, not opening cash balance and closing cash balance.
We went live in to SAP on 01.12.2010.  Our fiscal year is K4 (Jan-Dec).  How to upload the opening balances into cash flow statement?
    Kind Regards,
    Siva

    Hi
Can get the output in the reort by assigning your Chart of account and GL accounts pertaining to your COA. You have to click on the change Icon otherwise it will show as greyed out.
    1) Preparation of FSV is a good option but how will you address "Change in receivables" like that items in FSV?
    2) GL's can be linked to the report as told earlier.
    3) Still in the process of exploring.
    4) "Relevance to Cash flow" tick has no relavance with the cash flow report.
    5) Activation of Cash management has no relevance with cash flow report.
    6) There is no special configuration required for Cash flow.
The only problem here is getting the output for items like change in inventory etc. If this could also be brought in this report, it would be a wonderful report.
GL accounts can be mapped with this report. The problem you may be facing is due to the reason that you might not have clicked the change icon, that is why it is showing as greyed out.

  • RE-FX - Transaction RERAPP - No cash flow planned records found in selected

    Hi everybody.
I am running the transaction RERAPP - periodic posting: contracts, and the following message is returned:
No cash flow planned records found in selected period
    Message no. RERAPP012
    Someone knows how to solve?
    Thank you.
    Lucas

    Hi Lucas,
The following are the reasons for the message.
    1. In the Terms tab of RECN, next to contract start date you can find a field called "Cash flow start date", Check whether it is start date of the contract or not, as based on that date system generates(plans) cash flow which gets posted by RERAPP.
    2. In the RERAPP screen due date field by default shows <= symbol, means any cash flow planned before or on the date given should be posted. So, check your RERAPP Run's Due date and Green color symbol next to it, and enter contract end date there to see cash flow.
    3. In some cases i observed that if you reverse your RERAPP postings and try to rerun RERAPP with modified condition amount, system showing the above message, so in this case we need to regenerate the cash flow using the regenerate cash flow Transaction code available in RE-FX> Tools> Cash flow regenerate for the given period, then need to execute RERAPP as explained above.
    Regards,
    Bala.

  • Forward Transaction Reversal Issue

    Hi All,
I have a Forward Transaction which was created on 14.09.2011, Since then, two valuation run have been done (TPM1) on 30.09.2011 and 31.10.2011. On 30.11.2011, I posted the flows by TBB4 and generated the derived flows from TPM18. Now I wish to reverse the forward. When I am trying to reverse it in FTR_EDIT, it is giving errors "Position is locked by a valuation on key date...".
Please sugget what can be done to reverse the forward.
    Thanks,
    Rohit

    Hi Rohit,
what you need to do in case to be able to reverse a deal (in this particular case FX Forward deal) is also to make sure that all the valuations are reversed as well, so please run TPM2 on the same dates as initial valuations.
    hope this will help you.
    Best regards,

  • BN transactions in Cash Flow report

    Hi,
in SBO 2007, while proceeding to bank reconciliation, one may add adjustment entries if needed. These transactions are coded as BN instead of JE.
The question is why aren't those transactions displayed in the Cash Flow report ?
    Thanks
    Gilles Plante

    Jitin,
I knew that note. For the benefit of others, this bug will be addressed in the patch to be released next February.
In the mean time, is there a work around to create a Cash Flow report with the BN transactions included ?

  • Why can not reverse the single cash flow ?

    Hi.
    I've created loan number using t-code : fn1v.
    I've posted different cash flow.
I'd like to reverse specific interest amount using t-code : fnvm.
    but it didn't work.
    sap pop up the message.
    ============================================================
    Diagnosis
A planned record is preventing document 44959 in company code HPT from being reversed.
    Procedure
Delete or post the planned record and continue with the reversal.
    ============================================================
So i deleted all plan cash flow's data registered by fn8c or fn8x.
    after that it works well.
I checked it out thoroughly. I found that it is impossible to reverse when it is included plan cash flow's data registered by fn8c or fn8x
why is that? Could you explain?
    thanks in advance.

    Hi,
you can reverse the specific interest amount by using Tcode FNM3, provided you have not made clearing. In that case you have  to reverse clearing & then use TCode FNM3.

  • Recalculate Cash Flow

    Dear SAP experts,
I am having a problem during simulation of LO Debit Position for
January 2008. Few LOs have been affected. Eg: LO rental end date is on
31.01.2008 but the Cash Flow only up to 31.12.2007. Means, to enable
execute LO Debit Position we need to perform the manual recalculate
cash flow for Year 2008 Eg: FO38>Extras>Recalculate Cash Flow>Save.
For your information, the Cash Flow for Year 2008 is not being
automatically calculated by the system. Our users are requesting for a
permanent solution as they do not want to perform the manual
recalculate cash flow. It is not practical for them as they have too
many lease outs. Furthermore it will affect their financial year and
ageing report for the respective customer.
What we need is to find out why the system is not calculating the cash
flow automatically and the solution, so that users do not haveto do it
    manually for the incoming years.
We appreciate if you could assist us in solving this issue so that our
users can perform their task happily.
We are looking forward for your reply and latest updates of this issue.
    TQ.
    Regards,
    Nazrul

I tried another option, run the report RFVICF00 (transaction FOVB) on a regular basis but is there any other option instead of manually run the recalculate cash flow via tcode FOVB? Or any setting in config (SPRO) to make it automatically recalculate the cash flow?
    Please help me.

  • What is the table of future cash flows (coupan flows).

    Hi experts,
Can you please tell me what is the table of future cash flows.
I am using securities module in transaction manger.
I am using t.code- TS01 for creating a deal transaction. it is generating a future cash flows ion case of bonds.
but not able to figure out in which table it is storing these flows. TPM 13 is a transaction code to see cash flows.
I need this table to devolope some BI reports
    Please help.
    Regards
    Gaurav Gupta

    Hi Guarav,
you can use logical databases like FTI_TR_PERIODS to create own reporting based on SAP queries, but they don't contain any data.
The cash flow data you see in TPM13 is from the TRL* tables and views, eg. TRLV_TRANS_POS or TRLV_FLOW. This data is valuation area dependant. To see transaction data you should check TRD* tables, for security account class data you better use TRS*.
Nevertheless, for BI reporting SAP offers some extractors with which you can get data from Treasury and furnish it to BI. For example, with 0CFM_INIT_POSITIONS you set initial position (like TPM12). With 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS you can then provide positions for further key dates and create BI reports that valuate delta flows. The DataSource 0CFM_O01 contains information about all position relevant flows, 0FM_O02 about reversed flows.
Extractor 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS and other 0CFM* extractors are generally based on logical databases, so you can e.g. create a query based on FTI_TR_PERIODS to check results that would be extracted to BI using 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS.

  • Unable to edit cash flow in Interest Rate Instrument

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a strange issue while trying to change Cash Flow in Int. rate instrument.
    Scenario:
I am trying to edit a flow in FTR_Edit and system is allowing me to change most of the flow. Please see below:
But if try to change the very next flow on the same date i.e. 960.93 USD Edit Flow option is NOT coming at all. Please see below
These flow has NOT been posted to accounting still.
Any one has any ides/suggestion why system is behaving like this.
    Cheers !
    Adi

    Hi,
basically changes in the cashflow are exceptional and for circumstances, where you have postings after the flow(s) you want to adjust and you cannot reverse these postings because of closed periods etc. This changes in the cashflow do not change the interest condition(s) itself.
If you have more than 1 interest period and the interest rate of the future periods are not known yet, you should use a Reference Interest Rate (e.g. LIBOR) instead a fix one in the interest condition. Then you are able to use the fixing-functionality (TI10 or TJ05) to get the interest rates into the deal.
Of course you can use fixed interest rate, too - in this case you need 1 interest-condition per period and have then to adjust the interest rate (which initially cannot be 0).

    Lorenz

  • How to change Due date in Cash flow (yet to post) lines in a contract.

    Hello All,
I have a requirement where i want to change the due date of cash flow line items of a contract. I am able to do that in RECN transaction, by clicking on the date field and change the date. Here i am looking for a BAPI or function module using which i can update the date of cash flow items. Can anybody help me in doing this.
    Thanks,
    Bala.

    Hi Bala,
we had a similar requirement during the initial implementation project.
We have used BADI_RECD_CASHFLOW for this purpose. We have used both Methods - CHANGE_CASHFLOW_OBJ and CHANGE_CASHFLOW_PAY in such a way (for the last one):
      LOOP AT ct_pay ASSIGNING <ls_cashflow_pa>
                 WHERE ( cfstatus = 'P'              ) AND
                       ( origflowtype IS NOT INITIAL ) .
        IF <<condition>>.
          <ls_cashflow_pa>-dfaell = ....
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.

  • Project cash flow in PS

Which tables do we need to refer to get actual bank payments made against a project. In SAP PS the project cash flow reports are showing payment documents created which may not necessarily be paid. I want to know the entire link of tables which stores this data. while making an APP run or manual payment run a clearing document gets created linking the original invoice doc. this clearing doc is proof of payment made. where can i capture this clearing doc?
    Salim Shakir

    Hi,
You can use Project Cash Managment to carry out Cash flow anaysis. Project Cash Management enables you to look at project-related payment flows by supplying information on the timing of payments into and out of your project. It also plans and monitors the payment flow from the project point of view.
    Please refer the link below.

Alternatively you can go to transaction as mentioned in the path below.

Thank you to all who have answered this question posted earlier under queries, I am hoping we can get a combined report using CR, a feat not possible using SAP B1 Query function. I look forward to your advice.
    Regards

    Hi,
I am not familiar with crystal report. But using queries (that already answered) you can create crystal report.
You can also refer how to guide for creating crystal report in sap b1.
