I Installed loopback adapter and filled static IP address, how was describes in some blogs. But this didn't help.
I tryed to continue the installation. But when i bring up all the services and try to log into presentation services, i get the following error.
"Unable to Sign In
An error occurred during authentication. Try again later or contact your system administrator."
What shoud i do now?

The resource utilization seems to be normal. Netstat confirms that all of the above ports are free. Since there is no explicit error message in the log, we are unable to decipher the exact source for this error.
Virtual Machine details: Intel Xeon @ 2.67 GHz, Windows Server 2003 SP2, 4GB RAM, 50GB HDD, Static IP
Oracle BI Schema DB: MS SQL Server
Any inputs on this error will be greatly appreciated.

I recenty started instaling OBIEE 11g and got the same error : "Creating BI server system components". I read your solution and would like to know that if this patch is okay to install on a Windows VM (win server 2003 EE, SP2). If yes, after rebooting, do we reinstall ?
I am also getting the following errors:

Create SAP Source System Failed
Hi all,
We are using NetWeaver 2004s BI and try to connect to ECC 5.0. I tried to create SAP source system but got error message saying "RFC user logon failed". When I check RFC destination in ECC 5.0 for BI, the test connection is ok, but the remote logon will pop up another logon screen asking for id and password. I am pretty sure that the id and password in RFC destination is correct. The RFC destination in BI is ok. Can you help me out with this? Thanks a lot in advance.Hi,
Check the Default Logon <b>Client</b> for ECC 5.0
and verifiy that the User is in the Same Client
Each RFC destination has a mapped user for specific Client..Check the Client and User in the same client

I get an "install failed" message. "Recovery system can't be created—click restart to return to previous version of OS X." This doesn't work. My Mac continues to try to install Mountain Lion. What is the elegant way to get my system back?
The first time I attempted to install ML was on a late 2011 MBP. It ran for three minutes then gave me the error message: Could not install OSX due to an unexpected error. I was using the original ML install app, not a USB or other drive.
After a couple of restarts wiht the same result I saw a message to the effect that the install was trying to close open apps. I closed apps manually a few times to no avail. I shut down instead of restarting then booted into Safe mode (hold down the shift key when starting) and that did it. The install went smoothly after that.
I since installed ML in two iMacs using a cloned copy of the install app on a USB drive. This time I shut down the computers and booted into Safe Mode first and there were no problems.
I don't know if this issue is the one causing you these problems but it is a simple enough solution to try.

Security setup operations failed: creating system keys
I have just downgraded my T60 laptop from Vista to windows xp using the lenovo CD's.
Everything seems to be working well, except that each time I boot up the computer, the lenovo security setup software runs. If I follow the menus all the way through, I get to the following error on the last screen:
"your security settings have been configured however, one or more setup operations failed: creating system keys"
There was also a message that previously briefly flashed during the bootup (on the "bios" screen?) which stated that the system was designed to use fingerprints to protect something or other, but this was not enabled. However: I then ran all updates for windows xp and for lenovo drivers etc. This message has now gone away (and unfortunately I didn't write it down).
I'm guessing the failure to "create system keys" results in the software running each time I boot up.
Another possibility: I have not yet enabled the symantec security, as I intend to uninstall it and use other virus protection software. Could this be causing the"failure to create system keys"?
(The fingerprint reader works fine, and reads my fingerprint at the windows logon screen.)
**UPDATE**: uninstalled symantec security software, and this had no effect.

I am unable to invoke BPEL service from an OA framework page. I am getting following error when I am trying to Invoke.

This code works excellent when called from a stand alone java class but it is not working when it is called from an OA Page.
Can some one provide any pointer to the error.I think that your problem is that the Context.PROVIDER_URL is wrong.
Here is a sample of url that we use here:

where:
"servername" is (duh) the servername
"home" is the container that bpel is running
"6005" is the opmn port. -

I've a client running QM 8.x. QM is working and all recordings are present, it's just that when logging into the server, following error mesasge is displayed:
The user profile service service failed the logon.
No more threads can be created in the system.
Any suggestions on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Zones not booting - failed to create devlinks: Interrupted system call
I just installed the latest 10_Recommended cluster with 118833-36 kernel patch and now my zones won't boot. I get the error:

tia..First, you gotta change your prompt to something less embarrassing when you post to a public forum :)
I'd forget about the zones problem and focus on why devfsadm core dumps -- that's the core of the problem (no pun intended...no, really!).
First, review the install logs of all the patches installed during the recent service (/var/sadm/patch/*/log). Even if they all show a good completion, check the messages they generated, sometimes they have errors that aren't bad enough to cause a complete failure of the patch. The KJP (118833-36) is probably a good one to start with.
Next I'd "truss" the devfsadm command while it core dumps then get a stack trace of the core (run "adb <corefile>" and type "$C" -- that's old school, I'm sure mdb is much cooler...).
Throw some of the strings from those against sunsolve and see if something sticks.

AIR - MilkManGames GameCenter ANE - Error: Failed creating GameCenter Extension Context.
I am having trouble testing the IOS GameCenter functionality. I have been using the ANE extension purchased from MilkManGames.
When I call GameCenter.create( stage ) I get this error:
Error: Failed creating GameCenter Extension Context.
If I try to access the GameCenter features after this I get this error:
Error: GameCenter not initialized; call GameCenter.create() first.
Does this ring any bells to anyone? Please help... very.. frustrated....

CharlesActually, I think my problem was that the .ANE file was not getting pointed to in the Flash Library Path. You just need to be sure you directly import the .ANE file as you would a .SWC. Just thought I'd share in case there was anyone out there with the same problem. I am now past this hurdle ;-)

In the Admin area under users, I have one user that has the following red message under status"Failed create/update on 2 device(s)". If I log into the device locally that user is missing. If I try to create it locally it will not let and tells me to use the CM.
There is something different between dev and test.
Produce an explain plan of the query on dev and on test and compare the results.

I can create all of the menus and I am able to hit the BURN button. Once the DVD menus are rendered, it begins rendering the video itself at which time it closes with no notification. I have reviewed historical discussions about this but I was hoping that somebody may have found a better way than reinstalling the entire operating system to fix the problem. I read some posts regarding an application named PACIFIST that helped to solve the same problem for iChat but that solution did not work for iDVD.
