Object of authirization to forbid the view of a material MM02

Hi,
I want to allow and forbid some view in the material to a user when He launch the MM02.
Somebody knows which object I must to use?
Thanks a lot
Kari

Hi Kari,
You can use Object M_MATE_STA

  • Changing an object properties doesn't effect the view.

    Hello, I've have an object (instance of a class that extends CustomNode), this object contains a sequence of other objects (also extends CustomNode) that are presented in application view. When in application runtime this sequence of objects changes (the new sequence is ok, according to System.out.println..., the filter works well) the view acts strange. The new set that is shown in app window is exact negation of the sequence that corresponds to the current object state (the objects that didn't pass the filter are presented).
    here is a sketch of code:
    public var messageStorage : MessageSet = MessageSet {
          messages: [
              .....some data
    public var currentMessages : Message[] = messageStorage;
    public class MainWindow extends CustomNode {
    var messageSet: MessageSet = MessageSet {
              messages: bind currentMessages;
    public function myAction(key: String) {
        currentMessages = messageStorage.find(key);
    override function create() {
         Group {
             content: [
                messageSet
    public class MessageSet extends CustomNode {
        public var messages : Message[];
    public function find(key:String) : Message[] {
         var newSet : Message[];
         for (msg in messages) {
            if (..some conditions...) {
               insert msg into newSet;
         return newSet;
    override function create() {
         Group {
            content: [
               messages
    public class Message extends CustomNode {
    public var text : String;
    public var from : String;
    .... some other code...
    override function create() {
      Group {
          content: [
             Rectangle {
    }In MainWindow when I print out the messageSet before and after performing myAction(key), everything is ok, but the view in Group content[] is corrupted and shows the messages that weren't added to to newSet in MessageSet find() function.
    Anybody has an idea what's wrong? Thank You.

    I don't think there is an "object touchup tool".
    Adobes help for Adobe Acrobat X Standard says:
    Resize an object
    Click the object with the Select Object tool , or the tool used to create the object.
    Drag a handle of the object. Shift-drag the handle to retain the original aspect ratio.
    Link:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/standard/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7c7 4.w.html
    But only the selection border is being resized, not the image.
    I'm beginning to believe there is a bug in the resizing function.

  • How come, that the shadow of an object on one layer effects the view of an image, that is on a different layer

    one layer has a shadow - on a second layer I have my image - how come, that  the image-view is effected by the shadow of an object of a different layer? is this only a view-effect or does this effects the prints as well? if so, how can I change it?
    thanks for advice!

    Basic rule is that transparent object affects other objects behind it. So if you bring some object to front of transparent object (or upper layer), transparency flatteners doesn´t flatten it during transparency flattening. There are some exceptions to that rule, but I almost categorize those as bugs...
    Use Window>Output>Flattener Preview panel to see which objects are affected...
    If you export PDF, it makes a difference if you use PDF1.3 as compatibility. Using that PDF-version triggers Transparency Flattener and resulting PDF has no live transparency. All the other compatibility options preserve live transparencies....
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/pdfs/dgt.pdf is quite good white paper about transparencies in CS softwares, it´s a bit old but most of the things have not changed since CS2...

  • Script to find the " List of objects to be pinned in the shared pool"

    hi all,
    please suggest me any script is there to find the recommended objects to be pinned in to shared pool.
    Regards,
    Vamsi.

    I think the important question here is – do you really need to PIN objects? Are you facing any ORA-4031 errors?
    Oracle would tell you to PIN packages such as STANDARD, DBMS_STANDARD, DBMS_UTILITY, DBMS_OUTPUT. It really depends on your application. So I am afraid there is no exact answer for that, but you can work with your application team to learn if there is some large object that is very frequently used that you might want to PIN.
    I suggest that you check the larger objects from your SGA using the view v$db_object_cache that folks already pointed out checking the column SHARABLE_MEM.
    You can refer to v$sql or v$sqlarea (which is a grouping of v$sql) to find the most executed stored procedures and packages and so on.
    However, most of the problems shared pool problems I have faced were related to bad application coding - such as lack of bind variables - or shared pool undersized. Once those problems were fixed, I hardly had to PIN anything into the SGA.

  • Control the execution of the view

    Hi,
    I have a small application with one page. The purpose is, there are few search fields where the user can enter the search criteria and press the search button, and based on them data will be displayed from a view object where the search fields are parameters of the view object.
    I have created the view object, page and placed the view object fields on to the page from the data control and also the parameter fields(from Executewithparams). Search button is also placed.
    When I load the page, I am getting the error "Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1"
    Is this because the query is running without parameter values? I dont want this to happen, I want the page should display the data only at the button click. How can I restrict this?
    Please help me.

    bsampieri: yes, it's a ploy. Even assuming a teacher had decided to wait until this late in the semester to come up with an assignment, do you really think they would've decided on when they wanted to start grading it rather than, you know, when they would assign it?
    Also, who introduces themselves as "my name is Professor John Mane"? For that matter, why would someone with the title "professor" be teaching an "AP Java" (high school) class?
    And isn't "AP Java" really "AP Computer Science"? This doesn't really prove he or she isn't a professor as much as it proves that he or she is a dolt who doesn't even know the name of the class.
    Let's see, there's also the aforementioned fact that "send me the finished project" is inconsistent with the desire to see "if it's a good lab final". If he or she is really a professor, they should have no problem actually doing it themselves. And if they can't do it themselves, they really shouldn't be assigning it to kids just learning the language.
    I'd add that teachers wouldn't tend to give an assignment like this due over the holidays, but apparently this guy's teacher is enough of an arse to do that very thing. Unless the OP is giving themselves enough time to customize the code so that a google search for it won't find this thread.
    I sincerely hope no one answers this jackanape, so that he or she will have wasted all the time coming up with this elaborate scheme and still fail his or her assignment.

  • How to know the extended views of a material in Material Master

    Hello SAPients.
    I need to create a report listing the views that a material has extended, something like this:
    <b>Material |Basic Data View |Sales View |Purchasing View</b>

  • How to get the view Object in UserDefined Action

    Hi  All,
       Any body tell me how to get the view object , like the view object avilable in the wdDoModifyView() method as parameter.
    I have requirement like, i want to change the , no of rows displaying in the table should be changed at the runtime based onthe no of rows  selected in the dropdown box.
    The action which i created will be assigned to that dropdown box, on select of the available option, i will get the view object and change the properties of the "maxrows" of the table .
    so for getting the view object in the  the Action methods tell me what is the procedure for getting the current view object.

    Hello Vishal,
    Simply create a value attribute (say rowCount) of type 'integer' and bind it to the 'visibleRowCount' property of your table. Then, in the actionHandler get the value from the UI element (in your case, I guess it is drop down) and set it to the attribute 'rowCount' like this.
    wdContext.currentContextElement.setRowCount(
        wdContext.current<nodeElement>.set<AttributeBound toDropDown>);

  • RowSetInfo; bc4j; how to get the View Object

    So I'm trying to get/update/insert/delete records in a database that contain an interMedia image in a blob.
    I've figured out that I can't simply set the ImmediateAccess attribute. It doesn't like that...
    So I'm trying to go after the view object, since the interMedia white paper uses a VO row setAttribute to accomplish the write.
    RowSetInfo extends ResultSetInfo which has a method getViewObject(). Cool.
    So I try it... and get an error that getViewObject() has protected access.
    Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Or should I be even taking this approach?!?!?!
    If I go exclusively with the VO layer... how do I preserve the navigationBar functionality? Or do I need to roll my own?
    ( NOTE: This hilights another example of the perception of 'friction' between rowsetinfos and the view objects/entity objects. An approach that makes "sense" to me as a naive novice didn't pan out. And oddly, most of the bc4j examples go against VOs when, if you are an application programmer, you may never see or use the VO methods ( although it looks like we should be)... we're working at the ResultSetInfo layer. )
    Is the the observation of other folk who are building Java Applications/Applets? Or do you all work directly with VOs instead of going through the ResultSetInfo "layer"?

    Here is some sample code that I am currently working on and will post on OTN when complete. The code shows how to access a BC4J Domain based on an Oracle type. Working with interMedia is similar since interMedia utilizes Oracle Object types. Please note that I have not tested this yet against interMedia, but I'm hoping that you may find the general process useful.

  • What is the best practice to replicate the change of an object name in HANA AT/AN view where there are dependent views in it?

    Dear All HANA Studio Experts,
    I'm using SAP HANA Studio Version: 1.0.68 in our current landscape and looking for a expert and intelligent solution for a problem that we have encountered recently.
    We have created multiple AT views, AN views and created CA views on top of these AN views to cater different LOB related to our organization. We have also designed BO universe on top of the CA views from HANA and finally created webi reports out of these universes.
    In a particular scenario, we have one AT view which is been used by 10 different AN views.
    Now we had 3 Requirements like below:
    1. To add a new field in this AT view,
    2. To update an existing field in this AT view and
    3. To remove a field from this AT view which is not required anymore.
    Problems Encountered:
    Req 1. When we added a new field (e.g. XX_ADD) in the AT view and activate it, its throwing warning that there are dependent objects on this AT view. However no error thrown and it leads to re-work to check if this new field is available in all those dependent views and re-deployed those all.
    Question: How to ensure if this addition of object will not impact the rest of the dependent views?
    Req 2. When we updated an existing field (e.g. XX_UPDATE_NEW) in the AT view and activate it, its throwing warning that there are dependent objects on this AT view. However the BO reports built on top of these different dependent AN views became inoperative.
    Question: How to ensure if we need to update the name of an existing object it will not impact the rest of the dependent AN views?
    Req 3. Finally we have removed one object from the existing fields as it is not required. Again we faced warnings that there are dependent AN views on this AT view.
    Question: How to ensure if we need to delete an existing object, it will automatically reflect in all dependent AN views?
    Please suggest, if it is a good practice to create separate AT,AN and CA views for each of the LOB's and avoiding any dependent views (hence gradually the total no. of logical objects will be increase) or to reuse the AT/AN views whenever possible and in case of any updation/deletion we need to do a huge rework to check and redeploy the dependent objects again and again?
    Thanks for reading this detailed explanation and please let me know in case you need any other inputs....don't hesitate to share your expert thoughts on this.

    Hi Avishek,
    Are you using Development or Modeller Prespective?

    1) Adding a new Field in the AT View and after activating the view. Then you have to Refresh/Check out the dependent views to see if it is reflecting.
    2)  We cannot update the existing field in the AT view i.e like name change if it is being already used in joins in any of the dependent views. It will not allow you to activate
    3) To remove the field which is not being used any where, we can make the changes in AT View and Refresh/Check out to see if the dependent views are reflecting the change

  • How to populate the view object programetically

    Hi all,
    Is there any way to populate the records present in my backing bean. In my beacking Bean there is an array list how can i assign the array list values to the View Object.
    Thanks in Advance.,

    It's something like this that are you finding ?
    populateViewObject(ViewObject vo, ArrayList<MyBean> arrayBean){

    I have a view object which is based on the entity object, when I am trying to delete a row it failed because it has a child record associate with. I know the row is not delete from the database, but the record is deleted fromt the view.
    How to keep the record in the View object if delete failed?

    Hi,

  • Replace default table sort with order by on the view object

    The Jdeveloper help for af:table says:
    If the underlying model is not a CollectionModel , the Table automatically examines the actual data to determine which properties are sortable. Any column that has data that implements java.lang.Comparable is sortable. This automatic support cannot be nearly as efficient as coding sorting directly into a CollectionModel (for instance, by translating the sort into an "ORDER BY" SQL clause), but is sufficient for small data sets.
    I have a database table with varchar2 columns that can contain string, date or number values. So in the af:table I want to sort the columns either in string, date or number order.
    I tried creating a sort listener and in that listener set the view object order by clause and execute the query, but it does not affect the row order - it is always sorted as a string. I assume that the collection is doing its sort after I do the query, and overwriting the query order. I have tried disabling the sort in the listener by setting the sortcriteria to null but it has no effect.
    Can anyone suggest how to stop the default sort re-ordering the rows, or else how to code sorting directly into the CollectionModel as suggested in the help.
    Hugh Nelson

    By running in debug I discovered that when you click on a column heading to sort by the column values it actually sets the order by clause on the view object and executes a query. The help says that the default sorting is not as efficient as setting the order by clause - perhaps the help is out of date because default sorting does set the order by clause.
    This means that you cannot do a column sort on a transient attribute. The attribute being sorted on must exist in the table/query.
    The easiest solution is to override the setOrderByClause method on the view object. The string parameter is the column to order by eg "COLUMNA". If this column holds date values I can change it to something like "TO_CHAR(TO_DATE(COLUMNA,'DD-MON-YYYY'),'YYYYMMDD')". For numbers I do "LPAD(COLUMNA,10,'0')".
    This works OK.
