Object type v  abstract datatype

Hi Experts,
I am working on find data replication software.
could you explain that object type equal to abstract datatype? or they are belong to catalog?
Thanks

  • S/A bridge problem: No object type found for the message

    Hi all,
    I've been spending days looking into the following problem. I have a RFCXIFile scenario. The R3 system sends data via an RFC to XI and XI post the data as a flat file on a certain server using FTP.
    This scenario worked just fine for 1 exception. I could only run this scenario once. The second time I got timeouts when checking the data sent to my RFC destination using SM58. When I reactivated my RFC communcation channel I could again send 1 RFC to the system. All subsequent tries would fail.
    I guess this is due to the fact that I use a synchonous call (RFC) to an asynchronous one. Thus the adapter is still waiting for the response from the XI system and will not accept any further new calls from R3.
    So I figure let's use this pattern called the S/A bridge. So I designed everything according to guides and examples and I'm quite certain everything is configured right but when I run the scenario I get the following message:
    <i> <!--  Call Adapter
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="BPE_ADAPTER">UNKNOWN_MESSAGE</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>No object type found for the message. Check that the corresponding process is activated</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error></i>
    It seems that the adapter cannot find any integration process to send the message into!?
    I've looked at numerous threads on sdn and tried all kinds of stuff (looked at the cache==> code 0 = OK , tried to reactivate my integration process, checked the interface determination,...), but to no avail. Does anybody has an idea what could be wrong ?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated for I'm all out of clues....
    Bob

    First of all, Thank you for trying to help me out here.
    Some answer to your suggestions/questions:
    The IP has return code 0 in SXI_CACHE. so that doesn't seem to be the problem.
    I've checked the BPM for syntax errors. I doesn't have any.
    I've reimported the BPM into the integration directory.
    And did a full cache refresh in SXI_CACHE. Return code is (stays) zero, so that's OK.
    I've already included the error message from SXI_MONI. It is in the last step ("Call Adater") that the error occurs.
    The other steps execute just fine...
    The RFC communcation channel accepts the incoming RFC call and puts into the pipeline, so no problems with the communication channel either. the problem is actually when the pipeline is trying to forward the message into an IP trhough the BPE_ADAPTER (according to SXMB_MONI).
    Therefore I'm not able to go to into PE, because the workflow is never started. the BPE_ADAPTER does not find any active process for the interface determination i've entered.
    So i can not debug the IP in the PE and check container variables, like some of you mentioned.
    Maybe some more information about the scenario:
    The RFC is called from an R3 system to XI over the interface "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD", which is an imported RFC, with a request and response message type.
    Then I got a receiver and interface determination with lead the incoming RFC message to the IP, into interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI".
    This is an abstract synchronous interface based on the request and response types of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD" imported RFC.
    This interface is used the first step (receive) of my BPM as the synchronous interface to open the S/A bridge.
    The message (container var)  used in this step is
    name: CORREQ
    Category: Abstract interface
    type: "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI"
    The interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI" is an abstract, asynchronous interface based on the request type of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD".
    Then there are 2 send steps for putting the flat files into place and finally i close the the S/A bridge using message:
    name: CORRES
    Category: Abstract interface
    type: "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_RES_AI_MI"
    The interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_RES_AI_MI" is an abstract, asynchronous interface based on the response type of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD".
    I hope this information gives you guys a better understanding of hte problem.
    Really looking forward to see more suggestions and to solve this nasty problem ...

    Bob

  • BPM (IP) Error: "No object type found for this message [...]"

    For your info.
    I have searched SDN today for a solution to an error message found in XI message monitor (trx SXI_MONITOR) when sending a message to BPM:
    <b>No object type found for this message; check the activation of the corresponding process</b>
    Well, I found a lot of threads, but with no good answer for me.
    So, here's my self-solution: I was just missing the Interface Determination (really don't know why) bringing from Outbound to Abstract message interface. So XI message was definitely correct.

    Hi,
    Make sure that the first receive step in your integratiopn process uses the abstract interface that u defin in the interface determination.
    Also check if you have used all the objects that you have created.  Some times 'No object type found' error happens if your BPM is not activated.
    Also check the activation log and see if there are any errors.  Refrech the cache in SXI_CACHE.  Check if the return code is 0.
    Hope this helps.

  • DB Adapter - Calling Stored Procedure with Object Type

    So, we are using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3
    We are trying to create an ESB process that invokes a SP with an object type. However, the owner of the package / SP, is NOT the owner of the object type. When going through the DB Adapter wizard, it gives us the following error:
    When attempting to use the DB Adapter in JDeveloper to create a partner link to execute a stored procedure. JDeveloper returns the following error:
    Unable to import WSDL.
    Error while writing wsdl file
    Database type is either not supported or is not implemented.
    Check to ensure that the type of the parameter is one of the supported datatypes or that there is a collection or user defined type definition representing this type defined in the database.
    However, if I create a wrapper package / SP, it works just fine. I'd really like to not be having to create wrapper code for these SPs to work. Is this resolved in 11g? Is there a patch available for 10.1.3.3?
    I think this is a JDeveloper Wizard issue, but thought I'd post this here as well.
    Thanks,
    BradW

    This problem can be resolved by granting execute permission on the object type to the caller. For example, if the stored procedure is in schema1 and the object type is in schema2 then you would connect as schema2 and execute
    SQL> grant execute on <object type> to schema1
    Referencing object types defined in other schemas is documented. This is the described method for accessing object types in other schemas.

  • ORDVir object type

    First i had a problem with creating tables with image type column.
    For example, when i typed:
    CREATE TABLE stockphotos (photo_id NUMBER, photographer VARCHAR2(64),
    annotation VARCHAR2(255), photo ORDSYS.ORDVir);
    i got the answere invalid datatype for "ordsys.ordvir"
    After that i tryed with ORDImage instead of ORDVir an i succeed. But
    then raised another problem. When i tryed to generate signature for
    image data object:
    declare
    image ordsys.ordimage
    image.analyze
    i got error. Obviously obtaining atributes can happen just to ORDVir
    object . So my Question is do i get this object type (in ORDSYS )
    after the installation of oracle or i had an installation problem?
    I also tried with CREATING ORDvir OBJECT TYPE procedure but i didn't
    succeed. What should i do?

    What version are you running?
    If you are running a newer version, you should look at ORDImageSignature for matching since it is the newer implementation developed in house instead of having to pay royalties, and passing the cost to customers.
    We do support ordvir applications, but you have to install the ordvir compatability kit. See: <ORACLE_HOME>/ord/vir/admin/README.txt

  • Object Type Problem

    Hi
    I faced some problems with O8(Release 8.0.5.0.0) object types.
    Look at the following definition:
    CREATE TYPE T_JMJX AS OBJECT( LBNO NUMBER(3),...);
    CREATE TYPE LIST_JMJX AS TABLE of T_JMJX;
    CREATE TABLE JXGC.JMJXJL
    (JMJX LIST_JMJX,...)
    NESTED TABLE JMJX STORE AS N_JMJXJL;
    One day when I opened Schema Manager,I got a shock: TABLE JXGC.JMJXJL

    JMJX     none LIST_JMJX
    JMJX     none LIST_JMJX

    And I query USER_TAB_COLUMNS, it do have 4 records.
    But in SQL*Plus I type 'decs JMJXJL',the column JMJX appears only once.
    Other tables that has object type columns face the same problem.
    This doesn't has any infection on my applications.

    Export was done successfully but has a curious phenomenon:
    Exporting NJMJXJL(the Nested Table)......19678 Exported
    The number of rows Exported is about four times than the rows it

    When Impport goes to the tables that have object type columns ,I got

    Import terminated successfully with warnings.

  • Varray, Nested Table and Object types in OWB r2

    Requirement:
    Flat file with repeating groups of nested content need to move into Object Relational ORACLE table (using varray or nested tables - no preference). The data will be loaded, then mapped/transformed into a richer O-R output to directly produce XML outputs.
    Problem:
    Generated PL/SQL "seems" to do the correct thing, but deployment errors show failures on mapping of collections (varrays, NTs or OTs) and in sqlplus recompiling the PKB still gives the errors. Is this a PL/SQL generator error, or is there a more meaningful example of using CONSTRUCT OBJECT operator than the embedded odcumentation - it is a simple type (single instance) and not a variable repeating group of nested data.
    Anyone had any success with these, or know of any collateral to assist in the process. Thanks.

    The process we are following is very simple. We are talking 10 columns from a source flat file table and wish to map this into a Varray/Nested table, with one column of Varchar2(10).
    When you create your map in OWB, select the construct object, you have to choose an object type - it does not allow you to select a VARAAY or NESTED table.
    I have then created an object defined in the same structure as the VARRAY/NESTED table - I have then made the VARRAY/NESTED table of this TYPE.
    Example:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "O_REL_PUB_INDEX" AS OBJECT (
    X_REL_PUB_INDEX_1 VARCHAR2(10))
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "V_REL_PUB_INDEX" AS VARRAY(15) OF O_REL_PUB_INDEX
    In OWB you can then select O_REL_PUB_INDEX when creating the 'Contruct Object'.
    The problem I have is that when I map to my target column of type V_REL_PUB_INDEX and DEPLOY my map I get the following errors taken from OWB control centre
    Name
    Action
    Status
    Log
    TEST

    Any ideas? anyone succesfully mapped to either a VARRAY or an NESTED TABLE target column?

  • ORA-00902 when altering object types in a PL/SQL procedure

    The types are altered to the same, so why gives it an error?
    Here is how to see the error:
    1.     Create the described objects below in an Oracle database (I used 8.1.7).
    2.     Create a bpel-project using the procedure (via a database adapter), and deploy it.

    4.     Drop the object-types and create them again, and recompile the procedure.
    5.     Activate the bpel-process again - and it will fail with error code 902: invalid datatype (and ORABPEL 11811).

    In such situation, I changed the BPEL wrapper package and made the BPLE generated wrapper package an Invalid Object (Ref below if needed). Now, I tested the Application from BPEL console. Then I got the Application Package is not exists. (Basically an error condition).I think now the Toplink cache gets disrupted. Then I corrected the BPEL generated Wrapper Package. Then executed the BPEL wrapper Package in database. Now I used BPEL console to test it again. It worked fine...
    This way you can avoid Restarting the OPMN..
    (One easy Step to Make Invalid Object)
    1) Intentionally remove the ending ';' in the BPEL wrapper packages. And run the script in database. This Package body will become invalid.

  • LINQ sorting on List Object - Various Object Type

    I try to sort a List<Object> where the Object are different classes but all share the same Property Name for instance.
    I got a Base Class where Class A and Class B inherit from the Base Class.
    So during the Linq query I cannot specify with object type this is.
    Problem here "from ?????Entry_Global?????? list in Entries"
    Thanks for helping.
    ////Entries is a List<Object> which consist of class object as following\\\\\
    public abstract class EntryBase<T>
    private string _Name;
    public string Name
    get { return this._Name; }
    set { this.SetProperty(ref this._Name, value); }
    public class Entry_Global : EntryBase<Entry_Global>
    public class Entry_CC : EntryBase<Entry_CC>
    private string _url; //Web url
    public string Url
    get { return this._url; }
    set { this.SetProperty(ref this._url, value.Contains("http") ? value : "http://" + value); }
    public List<Object> SortBy()
    IEnumerable<KeyedList<string, object>> groupedEntryList = null;
    //The proble reside in the fact that list is not only one type
    //so when comes in the orderby "Name" it doesn't know Name
    //or any other properties which are all common to all those class
    //It does not want to convert Entry_CC or Entry_Global to EntryBase
    groupedEntryList =
    from ?????Entry_Global?????? list in Entries
    orderby list.Name
    orderby list.CategoryRef.Name
    group list by list.CategoryRef.Name into listByGroup
    select new KeyedList<string, object>(listByGroup);
    return groupedEntryList.ToList<object>();

    Entry_Global and Entry_CC don't share the same base class since EntryBase<Entry_Global> and EntryBase<Entry_CC> are two totally different types so you cannot cast the objects in the List<object> to a common base class in this case.
    You could cast from object to dynamic though:
    public List<Object> SortBy()
    List<object> objects = new List<object>();
    objects.Add(new Entry_Global { Name = "K" });
    objects.Add(new Entry_CC { Name = "A" });
    objects.Add(new Entry_Global { Name = "I" });
    objects.Add(new Entry_CC { Name = "C" });
    var sortedObjectsByName = (from o in objects
    let t = (dynamic)o
    orderby t.Name
    select o).ToList();
    return sortedObjectsByName;
    The dynamic keyword makes a type bypass static type checking at compile-time:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd264736.aspx. This basically means that a dynamic type is considered to have any property of any name at compile time. Of course you will get an exception at runtime if the type doesn't have a Name property but
    providied that all objects in the List<T> to be sorted are of type EntryBase<T> you will be safe as long as the EntryBase<T> type defines the Name property that you sort by.

  • Oracle 9i Object Type ..using self

    I have created and object with
    several attributes of standard oracle datatypes. I have one that is of a custom object type. this object provides encapsulated functionality. I instansiate the internal custom object using a constructor function. the constructor includes the creation of a primary key. once the constructor is done, the object is initialized( an internal flag is set, which should only be done once)
    To use this custom object in a member method, I have to do something like this..
    ( i have summarized code for brevity)
    MEMBER FUNCTION foo( ) return obj
    is
    l_self PARENT_OBJ_TYPE:= SELF;
    local INTERNAL_OBJ :=SELF.internal_obj;
    begin
    local.method1() -- insert record( flag is true)
    local.method1() --insert another record( but this time the flag that was set upon construction is now set to FALSE..
    I get an error.)
    end;
    I do not do anything tricky. the behavior seems to be that object types do not keep state appropriately.
    any ideas of why this could be happening?

    there was no real error code just unexpected behavior. it did not crash. I figured it out. it had to do with passing self as a parameter in out so that it keeps state

  • Fetch into object type

    Oracle 10.2.0.5.0
    Using Pl/SQL Developer
    Hi I'm new to collections, object types etc, so I aologize for any poor wording and missed concepts...
    I need to output a ref cursor from my package (for a summary report in SQL Server Reporting Services 2005). The summary report has two fields that come from the database table and 5 calculated fields. My idea for creating the ref cursor is as follows:
    1. Define an object type at the schema level
    2. Define a table (collection) type at the schema level
    3. Define a ref cursor at the package level
    4. Using dynamic SQL create a sql statement creating virtual columns for the 5 calculated fields
    5. Fetch cursor with dynamic sql into object type one record at a time
    6. Calculate the other five field values and update the object for each record processed
    7. Add the object 'record' to the table (collection) after each record is processed
    8. After the fetch is complete, convert the table to a ref cursor for returning to my application
    Here is what I have so far. I have cut out several of the calculated fields for simplicities sake. It is not complete and I don't know how to fetch the database row into the object, nor convert the collection to a ref cursor.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    ORDER BY zoneNo, distTx;

    Ok, so after more research if seems that in 10.2 you cannot assign an object (SQL) type to a ref cursor (PLSQL). SO i changed my direction and used a global temp table - created at the schema level.
    Create global temporary table dlyout.srvCtr_summary (

                               numOccr number,
                               MEError varchar2(1)
    ) on commit delete rows;Here is what the procedure looks like now.
