Just now i posted question related to OEM (when getting error).
I can't connect my OEM with any user
Here i created DB using DBCA with OEM but i couldn't login via BROWSER ...
Please ignore this question here .. ( Not a Duplicate Question)
This question is different , but related to OEM ( Ok . I am explaining my issues here. I created Database using DBCA without enabling OEM.
then i set ORACLE_SID and tried to execute OEM but getting error.
$ emctl start dbconsole

OC4J Configuration issue. /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_linuxserver_orcltest not found.

Hallo!I have installed Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0 on both Windows XP and Windows 7 on 2 different machines.
Before installing on both OSs,I had installed Microsoft Loopback Adapter and had set hostname as JOEY-PC and IP address 192.168.0.X.Once the installations were complete and I restarted the machines,I could not start OEM and the error below appears
C:\Documents and Settings\JOEY>emctl start dbconsole
OC4J Configuration issue. C:\app\JOEY\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_JOEY-PC_orcl not found.
When I went to the C:\app\JOEY\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\oc4j\j2ee directory,I found the folder OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcl instead of OC4J_DBConsole_JOEY-PC_orcl.
I assumed that by using Microsoft Loopback Adapter,I would avoid the error above and that the OC4J_DBConsole folder would permanently remain as OC4J_DBConsole_JOEY-PC_orcl instead of OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcl.
Why is this folder changing its name and how can I resolve this issue?

[EPM Configuration] OracleDB - OC4J Configuration issue .... not found

Hello,
after analysing endlessly the existing workarounds for this problem, i conclude that mine is not posted yet.
Intro
In order to install EPM, i had to install Oracle Database 11g. After the installation, an error ocurred stating that configurations were not saved and i could run manually "ECMA.bat" later.
I tried to configure it by creating environment variables such as:
- ORACLE_SID
- ORACLE_HOSTNAME
- ORACLE_UNQNAME
So far, i haven't tried to executed ECMA.bat for the last time, since I am quite sure that i will fail due to not recognizing the hostname.
The issue
Whili trying to make sure that the database is correctly configured, i tried to access to the webpage, unsuccessfully.
Then i found my problem in the forums:
When i type in CMD:
--> (I type)
C:\OracleDB_app\alexandreyin\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1>emctl status dbconsole
--> (returns)
OC4J Configuration issue. C:\OracleDB_app\alexandreyin\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1/o
c4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_HPCM.lab.pt_orcl not found.
In fact there was no folder with that name, nor something like "/OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcl" as many posts suggests.
I only have folders like:
- "home"
- "oc4j_applications"
- "OC4J_DBConsole"
- "OC4J_Workflow_Component_Container"
- "OC4J_Workflow_Management_Container"
- "utilities"
- "deploy_db_wf"
Some posts suggests me to change my /driver/etc/host file, but i think my current file is correct:
--> (Content of host gile)
127.0.0.1 localhost
XX.XXX.XXX.XXX HPCM.lab.pt
Honestly, i am out of ideas and i wish any experienced colleague could give me a hint.

Error when trying to load OEM on OEL5 OC4J_DBConsole

I have 11g installed on OEL5, I am able to connect to it via SQL on the server itself and from clients, I am currently importing the DB from a client and added it to the 9i OEM tree from my old 9i server without an issue. Believe this is an enviormental issue
[oracle@vmserver bin]$ set oracle_sid=ORCL
[oracle@vmserver bin]$ ./emctl start dbconsole
OC4J Configuration issue. /home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_vmserver.bpdnet.org_ORCL not found.
All the things on google are stating that this is a loopback adapter issue; but I do not see how to address this in this enviorment, only windows OS's
my /etc/hosts is as follows;

::1 localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6
10.3.0.113 vmserver.bpdnet.org vmserver
After install of the DB I was able to load it in Foxfire with the following url
https://vmserver.bpdnet.org:1158/em/console/logon/logon
this loaded without an issue after install, I bookmarked the page accessed it through out the day, but upon reboot of server now I am getting this;
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at vmserver.bpdnet.org:1158.
Is there anyone that can guide me down the right path?

[oracle@vmserver bin]$ set oracle_sid=ORCLBash is default shell on OEL5 (if you didn't specify other shell for user).
To put enviroment variable in Bash use "export" command instead of "set".
Next Unix and Unix-like (Linux) is case sensititve. Oracle expects the ORACLE_SID variable.
So if following command
will give you "/bin/bash" then correct command for enviroment setting is:
export ORACLE_SID=ORCL
OC4J Configuration issue. /home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1/oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_DBConsole_vmserver.bpdnet.org_ORCL not found.Did you create a database after installation?
Did you use DBCA to create database?
Did you change the server's name after installation?
Can you post output for following command?

I tried to put my database in Archivelog mode through EM , at the time of restarting the database it didnt start... instance is starting but database is not opening....
I tried this command but its giving error... ( I am running 10g r2 , on RHEL 5 which is install on Oracle virtual toolbox )

where orcl is the instance name.
and this directory, OC4J_DBConsole_myhostname_orcl, does not exist on the file system.

I'm thinking this step was either missed of you have a typo :
Change the entry of .bash_profile file of the oracle user and add following lines:
vi /home/oracle/.bash_profile
export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/home/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/lib
export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$PATHIf your ORACLE_HOME is set it should find the "emca".
You can test by running these export commands at the Linux prompt.
The which command is your friend
which emca
/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.2/bin/emcaBest Regards

Hi,
Please try the following.
1. Open an internet browser type printer's IP address.
2. Should bring you to the printer's status page.
3. Select the networking tab at the top.
4. Left hand side select IPv4 under wireless.
5. Under DNS address Configuration select Manual DNS Server.
6. For Preferred enter 8.8.8.8
7. For Alternate enter 8.8.4.4
8. Select apply. You might get a warning saying this could interrupt connection that's fine.
9. Turn printer off for about 30 seconds then try again.

Help! Getting "Connection error Check connection" when trying to enable HP Web Services on M1536DNF

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to enable HP Web Services on HP LaserJet Pro M1536DNF model? Everything works fine and shows it's connected to the network but I cannot enable HP Web Services. It says "Connection error Check connection" I've tried restarting everything; network, printer, computer. I've also updated firmware to latest version as well.

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you are getting an unable to connect message when trying to enable the web services for your Laserjet CP1025nw printer.
Please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer. The instructions can be found in the document Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection. There is a Windows section and a Mac section. In the Windows section you will find the instructions in the sub-section titled “Solution three: Assign the printer a static IP address”. For Mac the applicable sub-section is titled “Solution two: Assign the printer a static IP address”. When entering the information for the Manual Preferred DNS server please use 8.8.8.8 and for the Alternate Preferred DNS server please use 8.8.4.4. These are Google’s DNS servers.
After setting the manual IP address and manual DNS servers, you should have no problems enabling the web services.

Is anyone else having Config error 16 issue when trying to start PSE 12 or Premier Elements 12 after the Mac upgrade to OS X Yosemite 10.10 on iMac. I have had a number of issues with software and things after upgrading to OS X Yosemite 10.10 and even 10.10.1. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both PSE 12 and Premier Elements 12 a number of times and everything goes fine until its ready to launch and then you get an error message. Numerous uninstalled and reinstalls don't removing the problem. Strangely enough PSE 11 still appears to boot up and I never owned Premier Elements 11 so I don't know if it will start. I thought with Apple dropping its Apeture software and greater integration of iPhoto and Apeture files into Lightroom 5.7 all would be harmonious between these two players. Im not sure where Adobe wants us to go it recently removed the plugin to allow you to update files from LR to Adobe Revel, whats up with that. I now own two version of Adobe software that no longer work with my Mac and now way of uploading pictures from Lightroom to Revel. Needless to say I am pretty reluctant to sign on to a subscription of Creative Cloud with long term financial obligations when I can't even get my current Adobe software to work independently much less integrate with Lightroom. Frustrated with it all!

Get rid of 'put disks to sleep when possible' and you may see a dramatic improvement (not necessarily a cure).
That specific problem is a multiple-Processor (including graphics processor) problem, where one of the processors lost track of whether it should be responding to interrupts. You may have a Hardware problem.

as of now I don't the iTunes store accept the Debit card or a pre-payed card as a payment method, you will really have to find out another type of card which should be a Credit Card.

PageDef.xml is not found when trying to enable MDS

Our application uses JPA in the back end and fusion in the front end. we donot use databindings for integrating the backend object to the UI. I am trying to enable the mds by following the instructions in http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/metadataservices-fmw-11gr1-130345.pdf. Initially using filebasedmetadata service to check if MDS is working in our enviroment. I have configured mds to save table and columns when i change the value for the user it stores the value for that jspx file in chartingBreakdownL1.jspx.xml but when it is trying to access the changed setting when i log out and log back in it is not able to restore the changed value. in the logs i get this

1) Yes I am using file based MDS.
2) the changed value is stored in the respective jspx file (chartingBreakdownL1.jspx.xml) when i log out and log back in the values are not restored from this file.
3) In the log it is looking for the pagedef file (chartingBreakdownL1PageDef.xml.xml) in the mds repository which is not stored as part of the mds file system. i have this file in the code base and using it for compiling but it is not getting saved to mds file system. It is trying to access this file and it is not able to read the values that is why it is saying "base read only = true". If you need this file is there a way to get this in the mds file repository.
I am running this locally as a standalone server. i dont have enterpise manager installed. i have enabled the logging in "oracle diagnostics logging configuration" . for oracle.mds i have to set to finest that is why i am able to get the logs.

HT4907 Password Issue when attempting to enable Back to My Mac in iCloud Preferences - HELP?

Since upgrading to Mountain Lion, I have a problem enabling Back to My Mac. When I try and enable B2MM in the iCloud preferences window, I am asked to enter my Apple ID password. It says the password is incorrect, even though it IS 100% correct. I've even tried resetting my password (so that the password lives up to the latest security requirements for passwords, etc). So, it's definitely correct, and I'm able to login to my Apple account here (on this Apple laptop as well as on my iPad and iPhone)... it's not an issue when I log in anywhere else... I am only told my password is incorrect when attempting to enable Back to My Mac in the iCloud preferences pane.

Do these make installation of memeo superfluous? Would I need memeo for daily back up?
From what I gather, you couldn't pay me to use Memeo, nor actually a Seagate enclosure, nor many USB only drives, (USB is not bootable on PPC Macs).
I've used maybe a few dozen backup Apps on the Mac, and I'd personally judge only Apple's Time Machine worse than that one.
If you had it to do all over again, you'd get a case with Firewire, one with an Oxford chipset, not containing a Green Drive, not a Seagate Drive, not less than 7200 RPM drive, & a 32MB Cache, not with a One-Button touch feature, ( not a Bus powered drive like...

Issues when trying to setup alternate sync location of OneDrive for Business / SharePoint 2013 Libraries

I have an issue that prevents me from choosing the alternate location of sync'ed OneDrive for Business folders. I'm trying to setup an alternate location for synchronization, using the guidelines found in the Office support web site.
The option to replace the default sync location appears the first time a SharePoint 2013 Library or OneDrive for Business is setup for synchronization.

At this point, the Library or personal OneDrive folder syncs correctly and the files are stored in the alternate choosen location.
However, on when trying to setup an additionnal Library for synchronization, the alternate sync location has not been saved and reverts to the default sync location. Furthermore, the option to replace the default sync location does no longer appear
on the dialog box.

I have tried by first sync'ing a SharePoint 2013 Library (instead of the personal OneDrive for Business folder) with the same result. Meaning that the first SharePoint 2013 Library correctly sync's in the alternate location of my choosing. However,
any subsequent attempts to sync either a SharePoint 2013 Library or the OneDrive for Business folder results in them being sync'ed to the original default location in a folder under the user's profile directory.
I'm using Office Professional Plus 2013 (64bits). The version of Groove.exe is 15.0.4605.1000 (12th March 2014 - 13 383 360 bytes).
Is there something I'm missing ?

You can change the root path for libraries you sync to your computer, though you can do this only if you’re not currently syncing any libraries. If you’re already syncing at least one library and you want to change the path, you must first
stop syncing all libraries. Then, the first time you run the OneDrive for Business wizard to sync a library to your computer, you’ll see an option to change the location.

Goto-Extras-Output-Header-Edit.
Here mention the output type and communication medium and save the document.
Now try to issue the output.
I assume that you have maintain the output determination procedure in SPRO.
For automatic determination of output maintain the output condition record
