ODI Zip
Hi,
Is it possible to use any zip utility ( Internal ODIZip and any other zip utility in the server ) if the agent is not running in that server?
Thanks,
Ramesh
Hi Cezar ,
Suppose if I have an interface between database in server A and database in server B. Let the agent be running in Server B. Is there any way to zip the file present in Server A. If I try to use ODIZip then how the agent will know which file to zip, because agent will be running in Server B. By any other way can I achieve zipping the file in Server A ?
Thanks,
Ramesh

I am unable to find ODI_SAmple_DATA.zip file to work with oracle profiling.Any help regarding profiling???Do i need to
copy it from sw installation folder.?How profiling is different or related to odi data quality???Do we take source data twice -
1) For ODI target load
2)For profiling into entities.Try:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/oracle-data-quality/pdf/oracledq_sample_data.zip
and

Issue while running a scenario while using TTU in ODI
Hi All,
I have created an interface to load data from oracle to teradata. I have used LKM as SQL to Teradata (TTU). When i run this interface from UI (from my desktop) I receive an error telling
"sh: fastload: command not found" which makes perfect sense.
I then tried to create a scenario and run the scenario from a machine which has the utility installed. I get the below error.

Unable to install the Demonstration Environment with ODI 11g
Hi,
Can someone please help me with Demonstration environment installation with ODI 11g on a windows system.
I have downloaded the zipped file from the OTN site.
I am unable to understand the installation steps in the user guide.Posting them for your reference.
"To manually install the Demonstration environment, do the following:
Unzip oracledi-demo.zip in the ODI_HOME folder.
Verify that the JAVA_HOME environment variable is set and contains the path of a JVM suitable for Oracle Data Integrator.
If this variable is not set correctly, set it to a valid java machine location.
For example:
On UNIX operating systems:
setenv JAVA_HOME/usr/local/java
On Windows operating systems:
Set the JAVA_HOME variable graphically "
Regards,
Lovey SaxenaHi;
Did you try to start installation? Your Java_Home could be avaliable on your env settings, so you dont need to set this for installation. If its fails please try to use this syntax:
Set JAVA_HOME=C:\xxx

ODI 10.1.3.6 Import Issue. Help Needed
I have old back up of ODI 10.1.3.6 (Master and Work Repository) and want to import these into new install of ODI 10.1.3.6 on my PC. I have successfully imported the Master Repository. But I forgor the password of work repository so I can not import the work repository. I did following steps.
1. Installed ODI 10.1.3.6 on my PC (64 bit windows 7 home premium)
2. Did import the Master Repository from old back up zip file. (Did not create the new Master).
3. I can not sign on into Designer because the work rep. is not imported yet.
4. From Topology Manager, I have to first insert new Work rep. but I do not have old work rep. password.
5. Once the work rep is created linked to the imported Master rep, then I will import the work rep from old zip file.
How do I resolve this issue? Is the above step correct?
ThanksI am at the screen
"Input the password of WORKREP"
A work repository already exists for this connection. Enter the repository password to declare it in your Master Repository
But I do not have old password. Help needed -
