Hello Experts,

Here is the command that I am running using ODIOSCommand tool, Once I copy, i want to unzip. so,
gunzip < #PROJ_NAME.v_Directory/#PROJ_NAME.v_File_Name#PROJ_NAME.v_File_Extention | tar.exe -xvf -
Can anyone please suggest why it might be failing?
Thanks in advance.

Can you run this command in Unix directly?
127 means "command not found", possible cause by wrong $PATH or a spell error.
I made this error before. I use OSCommand to call main.sh(OdiOSCommand
/dir/main.sh #parameter), then call sub.sh in main.sh. Because sub.sh and main.sh in the same directory, so I don't add '/dir/' before "sub.sh" when call sub.sh in main.sh. If I run main.sh directly in Unix, it is OK. But if I run it from OdiOSCommand, the script can not find sub.sh. When I add full path of sub.sh, problem is resolved.
Hope it can help you.

  • Report with two Command is empty if one of the two commands returns no data

    Hi all,
    I have a report with two Commands not linked together.
    If ONLY one of the two Commands returns no data, the full report is empty (although the other Command returns data).
    I'm using Crystal Report 2008 and the CRJ 12.2.205
    Have an idea?

    Hi Ted,
    how can I solve the problem, please? It is important.
    If I can help yourself, the problem is appeared in many reports since I updated the library (the old library version 11.8.4.1094 works fine with all). I'm waiting for your answer, please.
    Thank you very much.

  • Can I use the Command Line Interface on Unix?

    Hi,
    We use 9iAS on Unix. We want to use Discoverer Command Line Interface on unix to export the worksheet query result. Can anyone know how to do this? I couldn't find out the command similar to dis5usr.exe for windows version.
    Thanks.
    Richard Qiu

    Hello Richard
    You can use the Discoverer EUL Command Line for Java utility. This was released with Discoverer 10g (9.0.4).
    Please refer to the documentation for more information on how to use this command line interface: 'Oracle Discoverer EUL Command Line for Java User's Guide 10g (9.0.4), Part No. B10274_01 (PDF)' The document is available from OTN at http://otn.oracle.com/documentation/discoverer.html

  • Command-Return in Toolbar Search field does not open new tab

    Since the 3.1 update, pressing Command-Return in the Toolbar Google Search field does not open the search results in a new tab. Command-Return in the URL field still works properly.
    Is anyone else having this issue and possibly a fix?

    i'm guessing you're using inquisitor.

  • Command+Return and Shift+Return keyboard shortcuts stopped working

    I'm using Firefox 4.0 on a 21.5" iMac running Mac OS X version 10.6.7. Just this morning, the command+return and shift+return keyboard shortcuts to auto-complete the .com and .net addresses of websites stopped working. Command+w still closes a tab, and command+left click still opens a tab in a new window. However, when I type anything in the address bar ("mac" for example) and then hit command+enter, Firefox opens up a new tab with a Google search for the word I typed. The address for this new tab is as follows:
    http://www.google.com/search?q=mac&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
    Any idea what gives? I'm rather perplexed and frustrated.

    Just removed OmniBar and the problem went away.

  • Command-Return Shortcut Problem

    When I hit Command-Return my Mac hides all the desktop items. Unfortunately this disables a shortcut in a program I use called Omnifocus. I have posted about this problem on their forum with no joy:
    http://forums.omnigroup.com/showthread.php?t=8000&highlight=shortcut
    Does anyone have any idea how to disable this shortcut in other programs? I have tried the "Keyboard Shortcut" Preference Pane and it's not listed. The shortcut action Command-Return enables in Omnifocus is not a menu option so I cannot create a new shortcut for it. I have used several desktop icon hiding freeware apps in the past, but have since removed them from my Mac. They include Desktopple, Backdrop, VirtueDesktop and Spirited Away. So I can't see how they are responsible.
    I have run the Console while typing this keyboard shortcut and it records this line:
    "Finder[269]: overlaywinref is defined so we hide it"
    If you can help me correct this problem I would be very grateful.
    Thanks, Paul.

    Great suggestions Andy, and yes this solved my problem!
    I downloaded "Easyfind" and searched for "desktop" as you suggested.
    I moved everything related to "Google Desktop", which I no longer use, into my Trash.
    I also found an item called "desktopsweeper.ape" which you mentioned specifically.
    This seems to have been the culprit.
    It was actually running when I tried to empty my Trash so I opened "Activity Monitor" in my Applications/Utilities folder to force it to quit.
    But it wasn't listed there.
    So I had to log out and log back in and clear my Trash before it could load.
    This did the trick!! So THANK YOU very much!
    The shortcut now works perfectly in Omnifocus and if anyone is looking for the best GTD program available, look no further!
    Thanks again.

    This may be a bit late and perhaps not even relevant but I came across this post when trying to solve an issue I had with a powershell script in Orchestrator. Maybe it will help you, or maybe it will help someone else.
    I was trying to create a connector between SCOM and our ticketing system. I wanted to export alert descriptions and in the process of testing I came across an alert description that had multiple lines and all kinds of crazy formatting. When I tried to assign
    the Published Data to a varialbe in my powershell script i would get an error "Unexpected token [a partial alert description] in expression or statement.". After looking at the actual alert description data and seeing that i was only getting some of it
    and not all of it it dawned on me that i somehow needed to escape out of all the crazy quoting, carriage returns, and special characters. to do that i assigned the Published Data to a variable in my powershell script as follows:
    $Description = @"
    {Description from "Get Alert"}
    Apparently the @" "@ is called a here-string. Somewhat interesting. Hope it helps you or someone else!

  • What is the native "Command   Return" keyboard shortcut?

    I need to use the "enter data into multiple fields" function of Microsoft Excel 2008. I'm running Mavericks on a 2010 macbook pro 15 in. I really need to use the "Enter same data in multiple cells" function and do not know how to do it manually. My textbook only shows this shortcut. The shortcut, as of right now, just tabs down the selected cells, as if I'm just pressing enter. I've tried all combinations of function, control, command, shift and enter and none have worked. If I go to keyboard shortcuts in excel > tools > customize keyboard and enter the "command + return" shortcut it says "currently assigned to: a built-in keyboard shortcut". I've gone through the system preferences > keyboard > shortcuts and it is not listed anywhere in there. The shortcut itself has no functionality anywhere when tried in other windows/applications. Super frustrating as it seems like it would be easily fixable. I've tried the drag function and it results in a (null) response. So my assumption, after doing some digging online, is that the "command + return" shortcut is dedicated to some other function. I cannot figure out what its assigned to by default. Any clarification is greatly appreciated!

    You might find better documentation on the HP8508A command structure in the instrument's manual or from HP/Agilent directly.

  • What return values do the cmd.exe commands return?

    I have only begun to use PowerShell which I find way to complex at this time so for me the cmd.exe batch file does much of what I need, but I tried to find a list of the errorlevels returned by each of the commands but I couldn't find it. I found descriptions
    of the command here:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc772390(v=ws.10).aspx but they don't give return values.
    In particular I was looking for the return value of the find command. I assumed 0 meant found, and 1 meant not-found, but nothing told me that. It could be that 0 only meant the find did not return an error, irrelevant to the finding something or not, when
    1 might mean find exited prematurely (such as when using find in a protected directory). I since found that 0 means found and 1 means not found, but what if I needed to plan for how to handle exit codes other than those two?
    I'm looking with respect to W7 Pro for return values for all the commands, not just find. I did a search in this forum and "on the net" before I submitted this question, but with more than 108K results just in this forum,
    I found I didn't have the time to look through them all. "On the net" gave me some results for specific commands, but not all of them.
    So, can someone point me to a list of cmd.exe command return codes for W7?

    Hi,
    Some discussion about return value:
    Windows PowerShell Exit Codes

    As you can see, it indeed depends who set it.

  • When will the "SAVE AS" command return?  In Lion have to "Duplicate" then rename, then reopen new document

    When will the 'SAVE AS" command return, or is there a work aroiund the "Duplicate", rename, then reopen new document procedure that is now in Lion / Pages.  I just want my old save as command back.

    Roger,
    What Peter said, plus, you're making it sound worse than it is. You Duplicate, work on the duplicate and when you're done working on it, you save it.
    After Duplicating, both copies are open until you do something with them.
    You can continue to edit both or you can close one of both of them.

  • Opmnctl startproc ias-component=RTC  Command return error

    Hi,
    I have Installed oracle collaboration suite 10g Rel 1 (10.1.2) on two box on 2 HP DL-380 + Linux OEL 4 Update 5
    I have faced a problem after changing RTC_APP schema password through sqlplus.
    I can not start my RTC process with following command:
    opmnctl startproc ias-component=RTC
    ias-component/process-type/process-set:

    when I looked for more information under /u01/oracle/product/10.1.2/ocs_1/opmn/logs/RTC~rtcpm~1
    I found

  • DatagramSocket.getLocalAddress().getHostAddress() returns 127.0.0.1

    Hello, I am new here, I need to bind an UDP socket to a clients machine through an applet and notify the IP:Port I am bound to.
    When running the applet locally I perfectly get 10.100.100.22, but when I run it remotely (Other machine opens the web page on my machine) I get 127.0.0.1.
    the code part that creates the DatagramSocket and notifies the address and port is the followin:
    //Create Socket
    this.mSocket=new DatagramSocket(new InetSocketAddress(InetAddress.getLocalHost(), this.mPort));
    //Get Listening port
    this.mPort=this.mSocket.getLocalPort();
    //Get Listening IP
    this.mAddress=this.mSocket.getLocalAddress().getHostAddress();
    //Notify
    this.notifyListening();
    inside notify
    I read the contents of the member variable mAddress.
    Could Anybody point me out in the right direction.
    Thanks, Frank

    Sylvia thanks for replying after all.
    May I ask why the workarround. I seen a similar one, and one with a tcp socket connecting to the host given by the getCodeBase().getHost() accessor of applet.
    But anyway... I don't expect you to answer this really but isn't it time for a fix up of this behavior.
    let me show you a very ugly code that I ripped out from a sample class that I downloaded yesterday.
    I works every time exept when the web programmers debug the asp.net application locally, in that situation it returns 127.0.0.1 but no one has a problem then because it works fine in the implementation.
    I tried creating the socket the same way but I get the same result as .
    socket = new DatagramSocket();
    port = socket.getLocalPort();
    for(int i = 0; i < listeners.size(); i++)
    ((UDPListener)listeners.get(i)).portOpened(port, socket.getLocalAddress().getHostAddress());
    seem unreal. I know.
    Thanks, Frank.

  • Mount CD/Image failed: mount command returned 0xc059

    Hi
    When i try to open a ISO Image or insert a DVD, then sometimes the error "no mountable filesystems" occour.
    This happens not with every CD/DVD but always with the same.
    I think only when the disk has both a windows/iso9600 and a mac/hfs filesystem.
    Also this happens on my iMac27 AND MacBookPro15 (both upgraded from 10.6 to 10.7) but NOT on my new iMac27 (native 10.7)
    I tried to mount it manually with "sudo hdiutil attach -verbose -debug /dev/disk1" and get some debug info.
    On the failing machines i see the entry: mount command returned 0xc059 ... and
    on the working machine there is: mount command returned 0x0
    Maybe there went something wrong with the upgrade?
    Is there a way to fix it without re-installing 10.7 and loosing all settings/programs?
    Thank you,
    matthias

    If a game is testing whether it was run from a CD or DVD then that's part of its piracy protection. Which then implies that you may be trying to run pirated software with which we cannot really help since the Apple Discussions is provided by Apple.
    On the other hand if you have the legitimate disc and are simply trying to run the game without having to insert the disc, then I'm afraid you won't be able to do that if the game software is using this as part of the software protection scheme.
    Assuming you aren't using pirated software, read the user guide that came with the game to see if the game can be copied and run exclusively from the hard drive. If the game has no copy protection, then this should be feasible.

  • SQL Command returns multiple records, but I see only one record in report

    I work with Crystal Reports XI R2 SP3 and Oracle 10g R2 database.
    I have an SQL Command that returns multiple records. Command name is "CommDivisionNames" and it returns column "CommDivisionNames.DIVISION_NAME". When I place this field into report details section of the report, I can see all 10 records returned and this is how it should be. I actually need this field to be placed in the report header section, and when I place the field there, then I see only the first record. I set that field as "can grow = true". When I do "browse field data" for this field, I see that all 10 records are there, but only the first one is displayed in report header section.
    I thought that I can place SQL Command field anywhere on the report (page header, footer, details) and that it will always show all records that it returns from the database. Can that be done?
    My "main part" of the report returns different set of records, and that's what I have in "report details" section. I need this list of divisions to be in the report header section, so user can see that the report was executed for DivA, DivC, DivE.
    Thank you,
    Milan

    sharonamt:
    Users select divisions from parameter, but the parameter multi values are division_numbers (1,5,10), not division_names. Division_names are visible in parameter_prompt_window as description, but parameter remembers only numbers and I don't know how I can reuse division_names later in formula.
    I do join for division_numbers and make them into one string variable and pass to sub-report, but I think that I can only get these division_names by calling an SQL command or calling stored procedure.
    If I try to do join({MySQLcommand.DIVISION_NAME}) I get error message "A string array is required here".
    Carl:
    I'm playing with cross-tab and I can use it to see all division_names in the report-header section. Since I need them in only one column or only one row, I have to edit cross-tab object and turn all unneeded border lines to white to make them look invisible. So, cross-tab could be a solution for my problem here.
    Another option could be to re-write my SQL command. Since I've read here that SQL command could be written in the same way as I would write a stored procedure, then I could use a bit more complex code to get all multiple division names from the database table into a local cursor, and then use do-while loop to concatenate them into one string, and then to return that string as one record (like 'DivA, DivB, DivC'), and then it should not be a problem to display only that one record/string in report header. It is my understanding that Crystal Reports can call stored procedure that works with many cursors/recordsets and CR will use only the last recordset from the stored procedure. Do you think it could be done this way?
    Thank you,
    Milan
