OHJ and Forms 9i - unitialized JVM - HELP!!

Hi,
I have generated a compressed HelpSet file (jar) using RoboHelp. My intention is to integrate it into a test form. I have imported all the classes I need using Java importer. I have the following code in a when-button-pressed trigger:
DECLARE
hlp ora_java.jObject;
BEGIN
hlp := help_.new();
END;
The 105101 exception is always being raised. I think its not even getting thru to the JVM.
My OC4J shows no problem.
I have made sure the applicable jar files are in the CLASSPATH variable.
I am using Jinitiator 1.3.9.
Can someone please help get me past this frustrating exception?

Bring up the help, and go to the Contents tab. Expand Reference, and there is a node there called "All Forms Error Messages (frm-xxxxx)".
You can also go to the Search tab and do a search on "FRM" to list them all.

Hey everybody,
In my company, we are trying to use OHJ and OHW for our java products and web browser based products. To follow the guidelines and the usablity procedures I need to customize the look of OHJ and OHW to met ou products requirements. I've learned that I can do that trough teh Help Set file under the <wintype> tag, I'tried to change the <bg> value but nothing happens to the HelpViewer. Could help me?
I've found also that in order to change the GUI look and feel we can change the code. Does any one knows how can I get the code of OHJ and OHW.

Setting the background color in a wintype tag should work in OHJ. OHW does not support window types and thus will not use this parameter. (The only parameters you can change about OHW's look are the branding text and branding image.) Can you post the wintype section of your helpset? BTW, if you want the wintype to be the default, you must set the default attribute of the wintype tag to "true".

Oracle makes OHJ and OHW available for free in executable form only. Their source code is not publicly available. For details on the available configuration options for OHJ and OHW, see the Oracle Help Guide at http://otn.oracle.com/ohguide/help.

HCM Process and Forms(HCM P&F) vs Internal Service Request(ISR PCR)

I am new with Personnel Change Request(PCR) in the portal Self-Service.
I know that the new technology used for SAP ERP 6.0 is with HCM P&F.
ISR is used for Realease 4.7(EP 5.0/EP 6.0).
My question is:
What requirements need a company for implement the PCR and HCM P&F?
Where I do the configuration for the PCR and HCM P&F in theCustomizing or T.Code?
Anyone know a book about the creation of HCM P&F ?

System error in program CL_RSR_RRK0_PARTITION and form BROWSE_02-03-

Guys,
I'm getting an error when i filter something in BEX Analyzer.
For Eg, I have an Material Free Characterisitics, executed the Query Successfully. After that in Workbook i'm trying to filter Material Values.
It Shows the error as " System error in program CL_RSR_RRK0_PARTITION and form BROWSE_02-03- "
Plz help its urgent ...

Paypal and form help

I designed a webpage for a nonprofit that uses Paypal to collect donations in varying amounts.
I used Paypal's button widget to create a button and form for each specific donation. I then embeded these buttons/forms in the webpage -- I created 7 such buttons and forms. Each form sends the data the user enters to Paypal, where the user completes the payment transaction. Paypal then sends (some of) the data from the transaction to my client. Everything works great.
Problem is my client wants to collect more data than the Paypal widget allows (or that Paypal typically returns to "sellers"). Ideally, my client would like me to include a number of required fields on my client's webpage and have that data sent to them at the same time the user clicks the "submit" button that takes them to Paypal to complete the payment transaction.
Can this be done? And if so, how?
Maybe this needs to be set up as separate pages: 1) the page where the user sees all the donation choices, 2) a second page where the user fills out and submits the information my client wants to collect, 3) a third page where the user enters Paypal specific info, and 4) the Paypal page where the user completes the payment?
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

I have talked to Paypal at least a half dozen times on this issue. Haven't found them overly helpful.
I'll check this out and report back. Are you referring to the URL redirect? Or is this something in addition to the redirect?
If it's the redirect URL, I currently use that for sending users back to the client's website once the Paypal stuff is complete. Hadn't thought of sending them to a page for more data input. Though, I have considered the reverse -- having them fill out a data form to collect what my client wants, and then have them click a link to go to the Paypal site to complete the payment transaction.
Does the shopping cart allow you to add other (required) data fields, like one for a mailing address, another for a phone number, custom fields for user comments, etc?

Im from Argentina too, I created an account and selected United States as Region.
When I click on pricing and then subscribe I get redirected to this webpage (probably the webpage detects that I am in Argentina through my IP):

Help!!!How to run Form Builder and Forms Runtime together?

Dear Friends,
I am new to Oracle Developement and need your help.
Everytime I click the RUN icon to run a form from the Form Builder, the Forms Runtime starts, however, closes my Form Builder the same time. After I closed the Forms Runtime, the Form Builder shows up as before.
In another word, I cannot have both Forms Runtime and Forms Builder at the same time. How can I run the form without closing the Form Builder so that it's eaiser to modify the form and time saving?

Thanks. But I cannot make by using alt+tab. I know it is strange.
I could do that before but I don't know what's wrong with it now because start of the Runtime automatically hide the Form Builder until I close the runtime. Does anyone have any idea or same experience of this? Any suggestion?

I have Ubuntu 10.10 every time there is a system update it tries to reinstall the core and trunk of firefox and its unity ap help stuff. How do I fix this?

In Linux this is an update every week. or every day if you so choose it. Mine seems to constantly give me the firefox core Trunk and support for unity App menu every single time. I am using FF 5. Ubuntu 10.10 isn't a unity App user OS. When I ask Ubuntu forums they say Ask you. Please don't say.. Ask them.

Accessible PDF files and forms

I am beside myself with the lack of help and/or interest in the Accessiblity area. We have been mandated to make all our PDF files accessible on our Web site. We have been able to master many of the issues regarding tags and form fields, but still have questions regarding updating the original PDFs without loosing the tag structure.
Is there any options on the Adobe site that may concentrate on this area? I called tech support yesterday (Bronze contract), was on hold for 10 mins and got disconnected. After leaving my number, they never called me back again.

The point was not having to create the tags again in a new file before
replacing the pages containing the form fields in the old file. We have
many forms that get updated right up to the last minute and to go through
the tagging process is too time consuming. We do not use PDF Maker, but
produce all the PDFs directly out of InDesignCS3 to Adobe Acrobat
Professional (Distiller).

I am really suggesting replacing all of the pages. I was thinking that the
tag structure would go with the replacement and you would need to create
the other PDF with PDF Maker to keep the tagging. I may be wrong, but that
was the view I had. If you replace a single page, I am not sure what might
happen since that would generally not be done with PDF Maker.
Since you already have the application process going, it is probably
easiest for you to try the variations on replacing pages and such --
basically what I would be doing.

i have already try the copy/paste thing with the ID of the file "iTunes Music Library.xml" it didn't change a thing. each time I relaunched Itunes, the ID is the first I have in the MAC.
I have more than 5 000 files of music. I don't want to recreate one by one all my playlits.

You can sync iphone with one and only one computer at a time. If you sync to another, it will erase the current content and replace with content form the new computer. There is no way around this.
Put everything on one computer and sync from there.
BTW, you posted in the Home Share forum. Your question seems to have nothing to do with home share.

Mater data text loading from a DSO to a InfoObject has failed in the process Chain at DTP step while trying to extract Data packet 2 from the DSO.
In the log i am getting following error message:
"System error in program SAPLRS_EXCEPTION and form RS_EXCEPTION_TO_MESSAGE (see long text)
Message no. BRAIN299".
Please help urgent.

I don't know if you have since been able to resolve this problem.
Anyway, for future reference, I have just had the same error message and was able to resolve it by simply removing and then reinstalling one of the characteristics, together with its variables and filters, in the free characteristics section of the query.
Hope that this is of help to someone.

Oracle 10 and Forms 6i on windows Vista Home Premium

I installed Oracle 10g on my machine it works fine, when I open the Forms builder I get an error number eror 12203 saying tns unable to connect to destination .

Step 1 - upgrade to a supported Operating System.
Oracle Database is not guaranteed to work on anmy XP or Vista Home.
Forms 6i is almost guaranteed NOT to work on any Vista.
