after ignoring that one am getting similar type of errors.
like useror role 'DEV_SOAINFRA' does not exist .
FYI: i installed rcu 11.1.1.2 first then while domain configuration, jdbc connection getting failed,so i dropped all the schemas using drop utility of rcu. while running rcu 11.1.1.5 am getting that error

Please first drop all "DEV_" related schema properly thoroughly* before starting it again...
And also don't ignore such errors: user or role DEV_MDS doe not exist...
RCU is a very smooth sort of tool... It is so simple that these issues should not have come...
So, please take another look at System Specifications, installers version compatibility and consistency...
Hope, once you drop all DEV_ related schema (also their table spaces etc) and restart the process again, this time it should happen in one shot...
Also, execute following 3 System properties setting for database using sys as sysdba:
alter system set session_cached_cursors=100 scope=spfile;
alter system set processes=500 scope=spfile;
alter system set open_cursors=500 scope=spfile;
Then shutdown the database i.e. shutdown immediate
After that you are beginning afresh:-
*(1) System properties: Set..*
*(2) All DEV_ schema: properly deleted.*
*(3) Version compatibility: Verified...*
*(4) Installation document... Once again studied deeply...*

Follow the below two workarounds and let me know the results::
Action Plan 1:
Do not modify the User name to all theSchemas. Leave the Schema names as it is and provided the Password for the Schema users.
Action Plan 2:
This sample for SOA INFRA modfication. Follow the same steps for the required schema:::
Open the sql developer and connect the respective Schema User . In my case it is DEV_SOAINFRA
1. Use the below query
select * from schema_version_registry;
to see the data in the table and figure out that is there any mismatch as the version in the table is less than the version it is comparing.
2. If yes then drop the table
drop table schema_version_registry;
3. Then i create a new table and insert a row as below:
create table schema_version_registry(owner varchar2(30),mr_type varchar2(10),version varchar2(50));
insert into schema_version_registry(owner,mr_type,version)values(‘DEV_SOAINFRA’,'SOAINFRA’,’11.1.1.6.0′);
4. Finally commit the transactions performed earlier.
Repeat the same step for other users as well . change the “mr_type” accordingly
And most important while doing the same for DEV_MDS you need to give the user admin rights like this:
select username from dba_users;
grant DBA to DEV_MDS;
then simply give this query :
update schema_version_registry set version=’11.1.1.6.0′; where owner= ‘dev_mds’;

we have created on few custom schedulers to carry out trustetd recon and doing the create , modify and delete operations on OIM entities. all were running fine earlier. Now we started facing the below error while running any scheduler. Please find the OIM diagonostic logs below.

thanks.I got one similar issue before. In my case was with event handler. It was a sintax issue.
Example:
I wrote this: <action-handler Class="...
instead of this: <action-handler class="...
So, in your case III suggest you to check if have any plugin invalid syntax and re-import your schedule task plugin.

I tried to install clusterware but when i run root.sh on first node it shows as below

When i run root.sh on first node it shows that the second node is not active which is accceptable
but when i run on second node it shows that fisrt node is not active

Edited by: Bala0575 on Jun 16, 2010 3:48 AMDid you run cluvfy.sh before performing the instalation, if so did it report any errors. I would suggest running it now in "pre crsinst" mode and report any findings back. If CVU says everything is good then I would recommend talking to Oracle Support.
It looks like CSS is running on node1 at the end of its root.sh, yet its dead when root.sh is run on node 2.... makes me wonder if its root.2h on node2 thats killing it.
Run "cluvfy stage -pre crsinst" and post the output back to the forum please?

Security Violation Error while running schedule task from OIM.
Hi All,
I am getting this error while running a custom java schedule task from OIM:
*Thor.API.Exceptions.tcAPIException [EJB:010160] Security Violation: User '<anonymous>' has insufficient permission to access EJB:*

at Thor.API.Operations.tcReconciliationOperationsClient.createDeleteReconciliationEvent(UnKnown Source).
I got this error as soon as my code start creating Delete Reconciliation Event.
Note: I have already protected the JNDI Namespace.

I am receiving error while running configapps.bat.
I have the following wnvironment installed:
64 Bit windows
Java 6 (JDK1.6.x)
Weblogic server 10.3.6 in software only mode
Ran OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 RCU utility to create BIPLATFORM and MDS schemas.
configured OBIEE 11.1.1.7
Installed ODI 11.1.1.7 with All components and “Skip Repository Configuration”
Ran OBI Apps RCU to create schemas for:
ODI Master and Work Repositories (DEV_BIA_ODIREPO)
Oracle Business Applications Components (DEV_BIACOMP)
Oracle Business Analytics Datwarehouse (DEV_DW)
Update to MDS schema.
Installed BI Apps 11.1.1.7.1
Applied FMW Platform Patches
Updated BIACOMP Schema with ATGLite patch scripts
Everything was up and running until now, when i try to configure OBIA via running configApps.bat, it is getting stuck at ODI configuration.
Also the server seems to be going to idle/suspended state every now and after 5-6 mins of startup and i see this message repeated again and again in server log :

This call does not use that transaction key and although working now, will fail with an exception in future. To find the originator of the call, set the log level for logger "oracle.mds.transkey" to FINEST. Note that the ADF framework manages the MDS session created for the request so an explicit call to flushchanges should be removed>
Has anyone encountered this issue and any idea how to resolve this.
Appreciate any help in advance ...The re-install has been successful. Didnt encounter any issues in any configuration.

Also in the log i am getting the following errors as well in the Weblogic server log
BEA -101020 Servelet failed with exception Java.lang.illegalstateexception: Cannot forward a response that is already committed
Oracle.as.management.mbeans.opmn OPMN.queryProcessStatus failed with the following exception oracle.as.management.opmn.optic.OpticBadConnectionException: Failed to create secure socket for OPMN
All patches were applied successfully, including weblogic one's.
Has anyone got any idea how to resolve these issues.

If the deployment failed, then there will very likely be some mention in the log.
You state that you checked the log, but you didn't mention whether you found an error, no error, a successful startup, etc. you are providing painfully few details to assist.
I would bet if you posted your .log and .out logs to Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002 and provided us links, We would be able to point out the error.
Lacking that information, my best advice would be to re-install and double-check you're completing all steps in the correct order.
Also, be sure to always search the product documentation first, the search this forum. For basic issues (e.g., standard installation), there is a high probability that someone else has asked that question.

I am completely new to APEX and trying out myself.
While Apex 4.2.1 installation, and configuring Embedded PL/SQL Gateway.
Topic: To grant connect privileges to any host for the APEX_040100 database user
getting error while running DBMS_NETWORK_ACL_ADMIN (as per example given in installation doc)

-AnandHaving multiple APEX_0% users suggests your database has originally started with APEX 4.0 and has been upgraded as subsequent versions are released (4.1.x, 4.2.x).
These accounts should be removed, as per the installation guide.
