Old purchse not showing up in purchase history

Hi everyone - not sure if there is an easy fix (probably have to get someone on the phone) but I'll give it a shot since my search results game up empyt...
I purchased an album in 2009 (DMB Groo Grux King). it was a pre-ordered delux set with live trax and videos. I've downloaded the album to iTunes on mac and iphone, but haven't done so in a while. I wanted to download a handful of songs from the album and now there is no record of me purchasing it at all. There are multiple versions of this album, and I've checked them all - they all require repurchase, which is nonsense.
I've never changed my itunes account id or email, and there is no way I'm mistaken, I purchased this album.
Is there a way to search purchases accross the lifetime of an account?
I'm curious if this is a tactic used to force people to pay for stuff again, banking on the fact that they've probably forgot purchasing it since its been so many years???

You can view your account's purchase history via your computer's iTunes : iTunes Store: See your purchase history and web order numbers - unfortunately it's not searchable, so you will have to search through it yourself.
But if the rights-holder has removed the version of the album that you bought and put different version(s) of it in the store then it will be treated as a different album. What are the release dates against the versions of the albums that are currently in your country's store ?

    Itunes content is not incliuded in the backup that itunes performs.
    Audiobooks are not part of icloud and cannot be redownloaded.
    You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception.

    That is correct.  You cannot redownload audiobooks.

    Everyone and it is not a problem.  Audiobooks simply are not available for redownload.

    You haven't got any auto-renewing subscriptions (I'm not sure if they show on the purchase history or not, I don't have any so I can't check) - there are instructions on this page for managing and stopping them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098
    And have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

  • Victory Can Be Pre-Ordere​d not showing in my purchase history

    I pre-ordered Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare last week, for the Xbox One, but in my purchase history, it does not show the 500 point "Victory Can Be Pre-ordered" bonus A.K.A. the $10 reward certificate you would recieve for pre-ordering the game. I was curious why this is... I pre-ordered Sunset Overdrive, and the victory reward bonus shows for that game.  Both were in the $10 pre-order reward section. Any help?

    It typically takes 15-20 days for base points and pre-order bonuses to post, so you won't necessarily see an entry for your Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare purchase quite yet. The points associated with the pre-order bonus certificate may also not appear as pending and instead simply be available for use at the end of that timeframe.
    If you still haven't seen records of either the purchase or your pre-order bonus certiciate at the end of 20 days, let us know and we'd be glad to look into the situation on your behalf at that time.

  • Disappeared album from iTouch, iTunes, and not showing up in purchase history?

    I recently got a new mac and a new iTunes on it. I synced my iTouch to it to transfer all my music and stuff onto my new iTunes. Recently, I went to listen to a song from an album I had bought a couple months ago, and not only was the song gone, but the whole album. Its not on my iTunes either. I checked my purchase history too and its not showing up. I would really like the album back and don't want to purchase it again. Thanks!

    The section of your BestBuy.com account that displays active Geek Squad Protection plans has nothing to do with your My Best Buy™ account.  As long as the purchase of the protection plans appears in your purchase history, then that is as much as your My Best Buy™ account would be involved.  Please keep in mind that a protection plan does not need to appear in your BestBuy.com account in-order to seek service.

    You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
    Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...

    Hi Support, I have an app on my ipad that I like to put on my iphone and it is not showning in the purchase history, I am using a 5s now but I just checked I have the app on my old 5 handset that I have not wiped yet so it must have been an universal one.  I have tried a full rest and setting up as a new device but it makes no difference.

    We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support.
    If the app doesn't show in the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your phone then was it bought by the same account, you haven't changed countries since buying it, and is it still in your country's store ? If it is then is it hidden from the Purchased tab : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
    If it's no longer in your country's store then you should be able to copy it over from your old phone to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync it to your new phone.

    My daughter redeemed a gift card to my account but I'm wondering where I can see that credit to my account and any purchases covered by it.  I see charges in my payment history, so I assume those are  items not covered by the gift card redeemed.  Is that correct?

    All items that are bought on your account should show on your purchase history, whether they were bought via a credit card, your account's balance, both (e.g. if a balance doesn't cover the item's price) or if they were free. You can't see a list of when gift cards were redeemed, nor how purchases were paid for, you can only see the purchase history.
    Purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases
    My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. On my devices it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to)

    Go to Settings/iTunes & App Stores and sign out. Then sign in with your new Apple email ID.

    it's a known issue. Everyone is experiencing this issue. Give it time for Apple to rectify the issue.

    I did the latest update and lost all my apps. It was not synced before the restore. How can I get my apps back that I paid a lot of money for? They are not showing up as purchased. When I go to the apps I know I purchased it does not show that it was purchased or installed ? Can I get those previously purchased back without paying for them again?

    As long as there is not another instance of that app on the device, you should. Just keep in mind, that as apps require updating, you'll have to sign in with different id's to update. Depending on how many apps and overall content is installed on your device, this could become confusing.

    I preordered Nickel Creek's new album that was available last night.  I got an email saying it is available and the songs are not showing in my purchased file or available downloads.

    BTW, there was no link in the email to download the content which seems wrong.  I've checked purchases, available downloads, etc.  I've tried to report a problem but the songs do not appear in recent purchases even though I got 3 songs when I preordered.

    The last few song purchases that I've made on iTunes are not showing on my Purchased playlist on my iPhone.  I do have Automatica Downloads turned on under the iTunes & App Stores settings on my iPhone.  I've tried signing out and signing in again on both my iPhone and computer.  I've also tried manually dragging the songs from my iTunes library to my iPhone through iTunes, but I'm when I click and drag the files from iTunes to the devices list, iTunes does not allow the songs to be moved to my iPhone.  Any suggestions?

    I had the same issue.  Try this:  go into iTunes, select your iPhone, go to Ringtones tab, check the Sync seclected Ringtones, deselect the ringtones that you pruchansed from iTunes Store.  Now Apply/Sync the phone.  When it's done, Go back to the Ringtones tab and select Sync all Ringtones.  Apply/Sync the phone again.  Now go to a contact and set a ringtone, you should see all the purchased ringtones.  Good luck.
