    I am Nokia new users, my nokia handphone doesnot support Chinese Character, how can I install the chinese system into my phone?

    Nokia does not support user-installable additional languages.
    You get Chinese support in the built-in firmware for phones sold in Chinese speaking parts of the world. You can try asking a Nokia repair center in a Chinese speaking country whether they'll be able to assist with a Chinese firmware version for your phone.

    Hi all,
    I am working on a solution to map a file with this structure (not xml):

    0~it1it2..itn~key

    This is my conversion setup
    recordser.structure = comment,1,header,1,item,*
    recordset.sequence = variable
    keyFieldName = key
    comment.fieldSeparator = .
    comment.fieldStructure = key.comment

    The problem now is that this file come from Chinese system and it is provide with chinese letters (looks like 2 bytes per letter). When I provide character encoding as ISO-2022 then adapter shows exception:
    java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException
    when I try to process it without passing any encoding then the exception is:
    more elements in file csv structure than field names specified
    Is there anyone who can help me with these?

    Hi,
    I think it is something wrong with the File content conversion parameters parameters.
    You can avoid comment 1 and comment 2 by using the parameter Document offset.Follow this link for that:
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2c/181077dd7d6b4ea6a8029b20bf7e55/content.htm">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2c/181077dd7d6b4ea6a8029b20bf7e55/content.htm</a>.
    I think you didn't specify the field names in the File Content Conversion parameters.
    Follow these two weblogs for the File Content Conversion parameters:

    after two days of search and guess.... I found out
    for Web application , which under glassfish , you need to put your jsp page under WEB-INF,
    other wise the server jsp turn your Chinese character that come from jsp request form to UTF8 symbol.
    not ideal how to change the configuration in glassfish yet!

  • View flash with Chinese by IE of English Windows platform

    I am using English Windows IE to view a web site. The web
    site has flash with Chinese which is displayed incorrectly. I have
    used njstar viewer but still cannot view it correctly.
    Please suggest way to view Chinese flash by IE in English
    Windows platform. Thanks.

    Your only hope is to install Microsoft's Chinese fonts which
    work in non-Chinese operating systems. You can find them on
    Microsoft's website, or use your OS settings to add Chinese
    language (simplified and traditional). Then you have to hope that
    all the encoding in the SWF was done properly, to access Chinese
    system fonts.
    I mostly have no problem viewing Chinese Flash content on my
    English Window XP, though often the layouts are bizarre, since they
    were designed to be read in Chinese OS, using different system
    fonts. Perhaps as many as 1 out of 10 Chinese Flash sites don't
    work for me.

  • Microsoft Excel 2013 add-in not working after update

    I have originally posted this question at answers.microsoft.com and have been re-directed to post here. (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-excel/microsoft-excel-2013-add-in-not-working-after/298aff03-c90a-4a2a-b67b-07b6f3c7648c)
    We are an organization with over 200 users and are currently using Microsoft Office 2013 (Click-to-run install via Office 365 portal), we have noticed that in Excel when we apply the monthly Office update, the add-in (e.g. Analysis Toolpak) would stop working
    with the following error message displayed.
    I tried updating from 15.0.4631.1004 to 15.0.4641.1003,
    15.0.4641.1003 to 15.0.4649.1004, they all gave the same results.
    I have checked the captioned file path and it is indeed missing, I think the update mechanism messed up the add-in somehow, a full re-install would fix it as quick or online repair is not doing the trick.  This is not the only add-in it is affecting
    as there are some 3rd party add-ins are affected as well.
    Please advise how we can fix this without needing to re-install Microsoft Office.  Thank you!

    I don't have 365 or C2R so I can't address your main question, so just a few thoughts which may not be applicable in your setup.
    Check the addin manager to see if your addins are listed and ticked. If listed (ticked or not) check the registry to see where the location is written, if ticked look here
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Excel\Options
    and look for keys named OPENx, where x is the order number the addin is loaded
    if not "ticked" instead of \Options look in \Add-in-Manager
    With a VBA macro or in the VBE's immediate window return
    Application.LibraryPath
    Assuming you found a listing in the registry do the paths match, if not look in the .LibraryPath to see if the addins got unloaded there into the subfolder \Analysis
    If you find the file(s) try un-installing and reinstalling the addins, but browse to the actual folder don't simply tick. If you can't find the files, copy them (from a different system) to the folder indicated by .LibraryPath. In the addin manager uninstall
    them if installed, close the manager, open it again and the addins should be listed, tick to re-install.
    You say your other addins don't work, I wonder if some mixup has occurred with what Excel thinks is the default path, but note for other addins the default addins path is returned by app.UserLibraryPath
    Are you using a Chinese system?

  • Translation for a search help

    Dear experts:
    My origenal system is Italian system, when I log in with Chinese system and open a search help for a screen field, the pop up screen of the search help can not show the correct characters. So my question is what I should do to show the correct character in the search help screen? Can I use translation function to do it? How to translate it?
    The search help is created in dictionary for the field (PLKOD-PLNNR).

    Try this :

    2-Search Help Exit
    or you can achieve it by translating it:
    go to the search help(double click)>Included Search helps(Tab)>double click on the line otems -->goto translation(here you can translate)

  • The font in the component

    I am using a chinese system.And when i use the swing component the font is so ugly.How can i solve this problem?I has tried to use method setFont() on the ContentPane.But it is of no use.

    You have to do setFont() on every component that contains text, because each component has its own font. There's a way of changing the UI defaults, which I can't explain because I don't know exactly what it is. My solution to this problem is to create my own class that extends JLabel (for example) and calls setFont() in the constructor.

  • Globalization --Character Conversion

    When talking about the globalization, my head starts aching. Here is how (the presentation is a bit lengthy, but not complex. So I encourage you to read on...):
    First of all, I went to the Control Panel to switch the language setting from the United States to China, (The Oracle DB's characterset is set to the Chinese GBK),then I did the following:
    1) While the web app(created in JDev 10) was running, I entered some Chinese characters in the input field, which, behind the scene in the JSP, were converted by request.setCharacterEncoding() function, and the values were saved to the table named Tester in the Oracle database. Then I could retrieve them via the app into the a JSP (with the charset=GBK), the characters displayed well. Uptill now, the saving and retrieving of the characters went successfully.
    Next I started the SQL*Plus, and did the Select on the table Tester, the Chinese characters which had been entered via the app earlier, became strange characters (Definitely NOT the ones I entered via the app). (the OS' environment had set to the Chinese language as stated at the beginning).
    Now, the Vice Versa
    2) Since the OS' environment had set to the Chinese language, it allowed me to enter the Chinese characters (vis SQL*Plus) in the Insert statement such as INSERT into tester values("XXXXX"...) {XXXXX means some Chinese characters}, which were committed. Then issued a SELECT * statement against the Tester table, and yes, the Chinese characters entered just now, were retrieved and displayed well;
    But for the same values I entered via the SQL*Plus, I tried to retrieve them via the app, the characters retrieved became ?????.
    Summary:
    It seems to me now is: given the environent I mentioned above, what is inserted via SQL*Plus can not be displayed correctly via the app; or what is saved via the app can not be displayed properly via the SQL*Plus. But for the INSERT of English characters (ASCII), it all works correctly, regardless it is saved via the app or inserted via the SQL*Plus.
    3)Is the above situation normal? Or there is some problems in it. If so, how can I fixed it?
    4)I tried to understand it in this way: via the app, some kind of conversion between the (Eglish system) ISO 8859_1 and Chinese system GBK is done. That is why it can be saved and retrieved correctly. While the SQL*Plus do not provide such conversion. If this is the case, is there any fix on it?
    Thanks
    Scott

    What is the NLS_LANG setting on the application server?
    What do you get when you run the query
    SELECT *
      FROM v$nls_parameters
    WHERE parameter LIKE '%CHARACTERSET'As a general rule, I wouldn't use SQL*Plus to view multi-lingual data. It's certainly possible, but often adds extra complexity. Using iSQL*Plus is generally a much easier solution.
    If you use the DUMP function, you can see the exact binary representation in a particular column. You can use that to verify that the data is properly encoded in your chosen character set.
    Also, please note that there is a Globalization forum on OTN that happens to be frequened by some of Oracle's really sharp globalization experts. It's definitely worth posting over there rather than in the Database - General forum on this sort of question.

    I'm upgrading a 8.1.7 database to 9.2 on windows 2000. The database upgrade assistent tells me that there is no

    PS: in the last line, Msg is in Chinese, I still don't know how to make the GUI programs like dbca, netca to use
    english while I install it on a Chinese system.

    The message in the original post indicates that tablespace ODMA_RBS needs to have 90 Mb free space. This is only indirectly related to the amount of free space on the drive.
    The solution is to either expand an existing data file for tablespace ODMA_RBS by at least 90 Mb, or to add another data file to the tablespace at least 90 Mb in size.
    Assuming that you have that much free space on the drive (and you appear to), then just substitute your tablespace name and free space amounts in the above.

  • UCS2 and Unicode

    I have a string that is represented in hexidecimals.
    This string is in UCS2 format and I wanted to convert this string into its Unicode part.
    How can I go about doing that?
    For example, I have a string that contains the UCS2 representation of Chinese characters and I wish to display them in my Java program.

    For example, I have a string that contains the UCS2
    representation of Chinese characters and I wish to
    display them in my Java program.For the 1.4.2 platform, you either need to
    1. be on a Chinese system, or
    2. have Chinese fonts on your host system
    Create any Swing component like a JTextArea or JTextField, call setText() and pass in the Unicode text as you have it. If you have set the font of the component to the Chinese font, you will see the Japanese text.

    I am using Chinese System, and I need to write a lot in English, but I encounter a very very wired problem. For example, after typing January or February, or Monday or Tuesday, I hit space or return key on the keyboard, it will automatically change it into Chinese, who can explain this and tell me how to deal with it? It drives me crazy!

    Vampire,
    Welcome to Apple discussions.
    It sounds like you either have a conflict with a keystroke expander or with Pages built-in auto-correction feature. To test this, try shutting off the auto-correction by clicking on Pages > Preferences > Auto-Correction > then UNcheck Symbol & Text Substitution. Let us know if that works.
