On CIC0 screen I need to display a component that is currently "hidden".

This component will be utilized to add messages such as "cash only, update phone number or something to that sort" to specific contract account. This component needs to be visible in either top or bottom of the screen. This has to be unhidden within the Framework status (Framework ID). Currently there are some subscreens and some hidden screens. I need to know how I can unhidde these components and how I can make them visible.

We use fiscal variant V3 (April-March). My need is to display data automatically from first of fiscal period (April 1 2006) to today.
I tried using 0CYTCD on Calendar Day but this works only for the current calendar year that the system is in i.e 2007.
Is there a standard variable I can use on 0CALDAY so I always get data from day one of current fiscal year/period to today? e.g. April 1, 2006 to January 3, 2007
If not, can someone please help with the exact customer exit code that I would need to write in CMOD in BW?

CIC0 Screen enhancement.

I have a requirement wherein I have to add a field RETSERVICEORDER to the CIC0 screen. The requirement says Fetch Business Partners based on Retailer Service Order.
If the retailer service order is entered select the service order (AUFNR), object number (OBJNR) associated with the retialer Id from table AUFK. With the OBJNR go to table IHPA and get all the partners (PARNR) having partner function (PARVW) ' Sold to Party' SP. Disply these multiple partners in the Hit List Area.
Could someone please suggest how this can be implemented. How can I display the results in the Hit List Area which is on the left hand bottom corner of the CIC0 screen.
I tried debugging but I cant find where the control navigates. Could someone please help.

I have not given an option on the CIC0 screen. Actually the business requirement was that there be an additional field for Retailer Service Order be entered on the screen wherein the User will enter the Retailer Service Order for a particular POD and BUsiness partner. There could be multiple results for this condition and hence I suggested to the business that they give a pop up so that the User can select any one of the records and ultimately the data related to that record will be filled on the screen.
Abdul you can refer to the code below. I have used the FM ' REUSE_ALV_POPUP_TO_SELECT ' to get the POp UP.
I have given the code below that I have used in my case. You can modify it according to your needs.

How To display a table that resides in the database via JFrame.

I need to display the contents that present in the table that resides in my database.
Scenario:
Im having Main frame window, in that im having a button, while clicking that button a new JFrame should be opened & it should display all the rows & cols of dat table that resides in my DB.
I have no prob in opening a new JFrame during a button click, but i dont knw how to display table in the table format.
I tried JTable but i dont know how to pass the data into the JTable.

JTable relies on a TableModel to deliver data. You have several ways of providing this data:
- Read it into either a Vector of Vectors (list of rows containing list of columns) or an Object[][] and create the JTable while passing the data.
- Create a javax.swing.table.DefaultTableModel, pass it to the JTable as a model, configure it and call addRow() in order to add rows.
- Create a custom table model class; see javax.swing.table.AbstractTableModel for a convenient base class

The data will be avilable in a single query, how can i display. I gone through with many SDN blogs, but i did not get the solution.
Requirment is:
First graph Business Unit informaiton, there are around 7 BUs, under each BU, they have 3-7 Industry groups.
Second Graph: Industry Group, under each industry group there are no of customers, i want to display top ten customers.

-You would need to have a Query that displays the BUs with their Industry Group count i.e BU in the Rows with Industry Count as the KF - I assume you want to show count here
-Build a Data Provider DP1 on the Query
-Drag a Chart webitem onto the web template & assign DP1 to it - use a Column/Bar Chart to display the Category 'BU' & Series 'Industry Count'

Error message need to display on other screen

Hi All,
I have implemented the enhancement implimentation for one perticular transaction code and i am valdating the one field in the one sub screen and i am displaying the error message. but its displaying in that subcreen.
But my requirment is i need to display that message in another sub screen.
can any body tell me how it is possible to do the validations on one screen and displaying the error message in another screen.

Need to display TEXT in web selection screen

HI All,
We are working on CRM-BW modeling. We have one field called "product" which will have key and medium text. We need to display both key + text in web reporting selection screen. When we ran first time text was not showing in web report. Then we found and change the configuration in search help in SE11 for that field. Then we can see the text+key combination in RSRT but still we can't see the text in web report selection screen...
Now what we have to do to display text in selection screen on web...
Please give your inputs ASAP.....we are in UAT phase....

For you case: Display key & text in selection screen.
In BW,
You can go to query designer, then you'll go to the info-object belong to the variable (selection-screen : product). Right-click, find for the properties, Then you'll see the option for display as.
Choose it for Key and text.
Then save it.
Go to the report, in the selection screen, when you're choosing for the help, you'll see the value displayed by key & text.

IMac 10.4.11 Because permanent vertical lines have appeared on my screen, I need to get a new monitor. The adapter apple sells goes from female VGA to mini-DVI. What kind of cable should I get as well:female to male?

If I use an adapter (female VGA to mini-DVI) for my iMac 10.4.11 OSX, I also need a cable. Should that cable be female VGA to male VGA?
Permanent vertical lines have appeared on my display, and connecting to another display (monitor) requires a cable and adapter. I want to be sure I am purchasing the correct cable for the Apple adapter.

What made me think I need to format if I upgrade the OS?
I just presumed so really.
What made me think I need to constantly format computer with my problem?
Well, after many attempts to repair the drive, which fails, cannot even reach the log in screen, I am left with no other choice?
And also, I have to note now, System Preferences keeps crashing without reason, it either takes ages to load, just by clicking it to open, or clicking something within it, or it just crashes.
And temporarily, it freezes the computer totally, with no response.
Seriously, am I missing a system file or something? Anyone experienced this problem before?
My computer is literally a blank computer right now, installed VLC and Shades, updated Adobe Flash Player, installed Skype and Adium. I would say Growl from Adium caused it, but it has happened prior to Skype and Adium. Any ideas anyone?

How to enhance table control in DMS. Need to display doknr more than 25 cha

Hi there.
In transaction IL03 - document tab - I need to display a doknr which is longer than 25 characters.
I search for exit/enhancement for DMS - saplcv140/control SUB_DOC, but cant find anything.
If it is not possible to enhance this field, i would like to add a new field (more than 25 char) and fill in the long doknr.
The documents that are attached contains both an internal docnumber(from the external system) and an external docnumber (functional location type of number). It is very important to show external documentno in the table control.
Actually in the table DRAW the external dok number is in the field MRK_FILEP. Can this field somehow get in the tablecontrol?
Anybody has experience with docno longer than 25 characters? Or how to enhance tablecontrol sub_doc (screen 0204) in fuction group CV140.

The BAdI CRM_BADI_RF_Q1O_SEARCH is for enhancing OneOrder based searches. Not for business partners.
The BAdI CRM_BUPA_IL_SEARCH is the way to go. I just checked in our system.
In the method SEARCH_CRITERIA_INITIAL check if your field is supplied in IS_PARAMETERS. If yes return CV_IS_NOT_INITIAL = 'X'.
Then in SEARCH_PARTNERS you delete the entries from table CT_PARTNER_KEYS according to your parameter.
However this is not very performant. If you have a search with criteria only of your own for the BAdI SAP coding will first select everything and then you filter out.
Anyway, it is much faster to implement than a new search...

Screen sharing and dual displays

Hi, i added a second display on an iMac and often screen share using my MacBook but since adding the second screen i've had issues screen sharing. It will briefly show both the iMac's displays on my MacBook but then cut out with "connection lost", then find the connection again, then lose it etc etc. Sometimes i can select just the first display and it'll be fine but usually the connection keeps dropping and firing up so quickly that i can't get it to just show the one screen.
I unplugged the second display and everything worked fine as it always has done. Is this a known issue to be resolved in 10.5.3? If not is there a way i can change the default in screen sharing so that it'll just show me the first display? I don't need to see the second display particularly so that doesn't bother me.

It may or may not be a common problem, since I screen share a 2-screen Mac Pro from a MacBook Pro and have not seen this problem. I always get both screens.

Error "a plugin is needed to display this content" for embedded Google map, but no plugin identified.

When I try to view a page that has a Google map embedded on the page, I get the error message "a plugin is needed to display this content". However, I don't know what plugin, where to get it, etc. I've tried searching for this issue but haven't been able to come up with anyone else experiencing a similar issue, nor does there seem to be a plugin for Google Maps that I can find.

The map displays when one of the links is clicked in the table.

I'm not sure why, but the site uses <embed> for the map instead of <iframe>.
When Firefox wants to render an <embed>, it needs to know what type of object is being embedded, and the site doesn't supply that information, so you see a generic "I don't know how to handle this" error.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a quick workaround for you as the end user. If you are the type to tinker, you can manually edit the code of the page in the web console as follows:
* right-click the plugin message and choose Inspect Element (Q) - the web console will open to the Inspector, with the <embed> element selected (screen shot #1)
* double-click embed and edit it to iframe, then press Enter to finish the edit
* Firefox will now load the map (screen shot #2)
This isn't a general fix-all for plugin errors, and ultimately the site will need to change this.

How do I stop sections of screen losing or not displaying image

I am intermittently experiencing sections of screen disappearing and not displaying the image this is not all the time as screen seems to flash eg when selecting messages to delete in my email a column section does not display this happened after I had to reset my firefox settings to remove a nuisance ads program.......I need advice how to fix please

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
