On Demand has the hiccups !!!!
Everything was working fine until Saturday. Now if I try to watch anything on Demand/Replay, the picture and sound sticks, its like it has bad hiccups. On Sunday I phoned the BT vision technical support, they said my broadband speed was fine, to swap the black power boxes over, unplug and replug the vision box and reboot the home hub. I did all this and its still got the hiccups. I was also told to leave it on standby so that it can update. It has been on standby since Sunday. I don't like leaving things on standby. Any suggestions to how I can get rid of the hiccups please ?
Was happening to me Saturday night also BUT only on one episode of Undercovers, everything else was ok. Tried to watch the same programme on Sunday evening and had no problems with it. Try it again, it may just have been a glitch in the system. Hope you get it sorted.

Please help. I created a movie from a batch of stills with transitions and effects. It took me forever but I managed to get it done and burned to a DVD back in February. Now, less than a month later, I went back to burn another copy and found that the movie no longer plays through. It gets "stuck" on the 3rd or 4th picture or on one of the transitions. The time line indicator continues to move on and the sound track plays but it sounds as though it has the hiccups. The movie plays poorly, like an old damaged film movie before it sticks. If i begin play somewhere in the middle of the movie the same sequence occurs (i.e. it doesn't appear to be a symptom related to a particular picture or place in the movie.) When I stop play, the picture where the time line indicator is positioned appears or plays. I can then resume play until it hiccups again. Thus far I've trashed my cache folders and the iMovie plist to no affect. Suggestions ?? I've rejected the baseball bat option.

My Zen Micro has the "hiccups"!
I so WANT to love my Micro, but it's been hard to do so. I've had to send it in for an RMA twice already....and I've only had it for 3.5 months. It's been quite frustrating.
Here's the latest episode: for some reason my unit has had these "hiccups". Picture this, a song is playing and every so often little smidgens (maybe a second or so) of other songs (usually the one that played just before the present one), and sometimes even of the same song, skip into it. I already performed disk cleanup once, as well as re-formatted the hard disk (which I don't care to do again after 3 times........the time I've invested in re-importing my music is what ticks me off the most).
Can anyone tell me what's going on with my machine? Is this an isolated case or has someone experienced this as well? It's irrelevant if the song was downloaded or was burned from a CD. It keeps happening. I honestly have no choice as far a s returning the unit, I wouldn't get all my money back. So can someone please suggest a cure?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.yes i have had the same problem with my previous zen micro, my songs were slow to load and the song would stop mid way through a song. this then lead on to the player not even booting up. i tryred all the options on the recovery mode but these didnt help and eventually i had to send it back. i haven't had a similia problem with my new one but a problem has occoured and i am now in the process of sending back another one !!

Surely the i7 and 4gb can cope with the demands and the 64-bit version would allow more efficient use of the computing power.

Loading DAO and SQL on demand for the request

I have a requirement, where I need to load the SQL queries for the specific DAO on demand when the request has been made. This will ensure that I am not loading all the objects as I will be loading only the objects which I am going to work with. That is the main idea behind this operation. I am using JPA for back-end which connects to Oracle DB. Whether it will be better to load all the module specific DAO's on-demand using lazy-init="true" in Spring and load the specific SQL queries for those DAO's? In hibernate we are using named queries. Hence, please do suggest me how we can go about this?

If it is the later, you might try asking elsewhere, as this is a TopLink/JPA forum - TopLink is a JPA provider that includes EclipseLink. If it is JPA, you might make your question more clear, as JPA does not allow defining named queries in a text file and defining a query will not return entities from the database. JPA does allow defining queries in orm.xml or though annations on the entities themselves, and in JPA 2.1, you can add named queries in code. And entities are only returned when the query is executed, so you might want to explain a bit more what you are trying to avoid loading.

PaeNo, there is currently no certification exam for the Oracle CRM On Demand product. We used to have a certification program, but it was discontinued due to very low demand. However, for Oracle partners, we do have several guided learning paths - each of which has an associated assessment exam. Partners must pass the assessment before gaining certified partner status.

If this is valid you do not need to solve problems who can and who cannot start/stop SAP, because if you want to prevent some users from shutting down the SAP you have really hard job to do - there are many ways how to kill the SAP (for example killing relevant process from task manager, killing of database, messing with services etc.) - yes, this is harmful way of stopping SAP, but we are talking about attack, right? I would contact some Windows specialist to help you disable all the ways how to harm the running SAP. But still after that - there are many files that can be modified/deleted so SAP will crash after restart - you need to protect them too, etc.
In case you take the first assumption as granted (and you really limit access to this server) you do not need to worry who can stop or start SAP - at the other hand it may be handy to be able to start/stop SAP from other users - for this you can run the stop/start script "under different user".
But to answer the question - to me this is question just of access control (but really never tried that myself):

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

These problems are happening on my iMac at home. I can log into Creative Cloud no problem, however as soon as I try and open an application, whether it's an old version or CC 2014, Adobe Application Manager opens and tells me that membership has expired and prompts me to 'try again'. Clicking this button results in a new pop up that thanks me and tells me that my subscription is now active. However as soon as I click 'continue' the process begins again, the application closes, a pop tells me that membership has expired etc.
I can login and view my Creative cloud for teams account online and everything seems to be in order and the applications open without incident at work, another colleague at my work has the same problem with his CC applications at home.
I've tried uninstalling and the installing all of the applications and CC several times, run all updates etc.
Is this an issue the the Terms and Conditions for CC2014, are we no longer allowed to run applications on 2 machines?
Is there a bug with the latex version of CC? This problems has only recently occurred.
I should add that I've read some of the other posts about login loops and I've tried deleting the opm.db file, it didn't work.

PeteThere doesn't seem to be an uninstaller for CS3, and I've tried the CC Cleaner tool several times. It doesn't work and it is not correctly documented anywhere. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" as one of the Adobe pages states. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" so I can't find any success or error states of the tool.
There is a log file at "/Users/[me]/Library/Logs/ACC.log." Would there be anything in there that could shine light on install issues vs. uninstall issues?
Regardless, running Cleaner and then attempting to install ACC repeatedly leads to the error "Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly" upon launching it or rebooting (which launches it automatically). I've been trying various things for weeks to no avail yet. -
I just updated my pages and now it won't load. This is on my iPad. The first version which has the latest version it can have 5.1 or something like that. I am trying to open a document and am worried that if I uninstall and reinstall I will lose all my documents
I just uninstalled it and am waiting for it to reinstall. I sincerely hope that I have not lost everything that I worked on so hard. Now that mobile me is gone, I have not been able to go between devices to transfer things. I was merely trying to take a document I had worked on and open it in pages, but it said my version was too old. When I updated, it wouldn't load. Now I cannot do anything. I hope that the reinstall fixes it without losing everything. Please advise!!! Yes, I am in panic mode.

I cannot add a Wi-Fi guest network. Gone to Utilities>Airport Utilities and all I get is an image/browser of my Airport Extreme. Looking for the browser window which has the title Wireless but cannot find anywhere. What am I doing wrong?
Open AirPort Utility. The first screen looks something like this:
Click on the AirPort Extreme and another screen will appear. Click Edit, then the window with the Wireless tab will appear.
If you do not see these screens, you will need to start over and configure your AirPort again. -

i have missing songs that i purchased on my old iphone. they are not in my purchased folder. but in itunes store when i look the song up, it has the purchased logo next to it.... but no way to download it
If the songs are still on your ipod, make sure autosync is disabled in iTunes on your computer, connect and right click on it in the device list, then choose "transfer purchases" to copy all bought media and apps from your ipod to your computer.
If the songs are not on your computer and got deleted from your ipod as well, you can't get them back, unless you have a backup of your iTunes library as part of your computer backup. -
