I have deployed the CRS through cim.bat and after that I am trying to run the following scripts and fails with the below errors.

Is this issue ""F:\Endeca\apps\CRS\data\forge_output\\CRS.dimensions.xml" file path. I am running on windows 7 and even tried giving the paths with back slash instead of forward slash. Not sure where to debug this issue. Please let me know if anyone has encountered this error.

That definitely doesn't look right - by default it would be reading the file data\forge_output\dimensions.xml, but you are getting a carriage return and CRS.dimensions.xml? Have you modified the Dimension Adapter and/or Indexer Adapter in your pipeline? The default settings are:

Format = XML - Internal
URL = dimensions.xml (so relative to the pipeline.epx)
Custom Compression Level = unchecked (if this is checked then URL will become dimensions.xml.gz)

URL = ../../data/forge_output/

I am just trying to configure my machine for Endeca Guided Search. I am the steps given in Oracle Endeca Guided Search Getting Started guide. The section i am referring to is :- "Configuring the sample application on a single development server".
1. I have run the deployment template deploy script - No error
2. Ran initialize_services script from the Endeca Deployment Template - No Error
3. To run a baseline update script on the Data Processing (ITL) server:

Checked the value of com.endeca.mdexRoot in eac.properties. It's C:\\Users\\Aditya\\Endeca\\MDEX\\6.2.2 , which is correct.
Not sure what else to check now. Because of the above exceptions, not able to verify the installation with the JSP reference application. Get the below exception when try to test using host: localhost and port:15000:

The query is based upon Multiprovider (based upon 2 basic cubes).
Both cubes are partitioned by info object 0CALMONTH, (valid range - 01.2005 - 012.2010).
Those cubes are not containing any non-cumulative key figures and Service package level for SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 is u2018SAPKW70012u2019.
I have checked those cubes in RSRV and carry out following steps:
"All Elementary Tests -> Transaction Data" and execute the repair "Consistency of the Time Dimension for an Info Cube"
I have found system inconsistency like u201CRecord with the DIMID 2 contains non-fitting time characteristics u201C
Detail ERROR:
Record with the DIMID 2 contains non-fitting time characteristics
Message no. RSCV053Diagnosis
The data record of the time dimension table with the described DIMID contains values for time characteristics that do not fit together.
I have found the u2018 Note 1130450 - Query displays error DBMAN 284; RSRV: Time dimension checku2019 for this but still not sure this will work or not .
I tested this in dev server , didn't feel useful.
Could you please let us know what to correct this error.

I had solved the problem.The reason for the exception is there is no content in crs1.dimensions.xml (as i didn't run the baseline script in :
http://localhost:8080/dyn/admin/nucleus/atg/endeca/index /commerce/ProductCatalogSimpleIndexingAdmin
through dyn/admin before running baseline_update.bat).

This is most probably because the Periodicity input value has been configured as "Required" and no value has been input for it.
Please enter a value and try to re-run Quick Pay.

Well, I've been trying out mySQL and Dreamweaver. I've found a book called Dreamweaver MX 2004 Design Projects and I am trying to write and get working Allan Kent's News Portal site as it seems to have all the things I want to learn in it.
However, my question is this:
When I have put in this code:

what does this mean?
why is it doing this?

Yes, it will generate a new one. That's the idea of deleting the one that has become corrupted. However, if it didn't fix the problem, it could mean that an extension is causing problems. The next stage is to delete or rename your personal configuration folder. Doing so reverts Dreamweaver back to all its default settings, and should clear any problem. However, your later comments suggest the problem might lie elsewhere.

The exercise to create a news website uses server behaviours. I have gone through the exercise and it didn't seem to work properly. So I went through and tried reapplying server behaviours and this is when I get the error message opening and closing the server behaviours. When it happens once it happens to all of them so I have to reboot DW.
I have read that server behaviours have a logical order on a web page and changing one effects the operation of others.
Server behaviors are simply PHP code that has been generated automatically by Dreamweaver. When applied correctly, they should work without problem. However, a lot of people use them without understanding any of the code generated by Dreamweaver. That's when problems arise. If you make a mistake, you can't just select things in Design view and press Delete. To remove a server behavior cleanly, you need to select its name in the Server Behaviors panel, and click the minus button.
Also, I know that Allan's instructions involve editing server behavior code. Once you do so, Dreamweaver usually no longer recognizes it as a server behavior, so you need to edit the code entirely in Code view. If you're not sure what you're doing, problems can again arise. I would suggest wiping the page clean, and starting again.
Allan is an experienced author and PHP developer, so I assume that his instructions are correct. However, mistakes do occur in books. I see there is no errata page for that book, but that doesn't mean it's free of mistakes. I submitted corrections to a couple of my books several months ago, but friends of ED hasn't bothered to put them on its website. You can download the example files for that book. If there's a set of complete files, test them in a browser. Then compare your files with the author's.

While executing ObjectTag in flash.htm, a javascript error occurred

I'm attempting to place a SWF file in an editable region on a page created from a template. I get the error: While executing ObjectTag in flash.htm, a javascript error occurred. I saw on another sight that someone found the problem which was editable regions remove the head tag information. But I do not know how to enter this info. I tried just putting a </head> and a head and body tag in code view inside the name region but this did not work. Any help would be appreciated.
