One trigger to take multi images

Hi All,
I am using a Guppy Pro F031b, which is equiped with Bulk Trigger Mode. This mode allow me to take multipule frames with one external trigger.
I want to take two image every trigger and save them. But I have no idea how to realize this function with with IMAQdx. Has anyone did this before and can give me a hand?
Shall I use Grab or "IMAQ get image"? Shall I use a whileloop to let the get image excuated twice or the VI will automatically grab two image?

I have already programed a VI include trigger mode 0(edge triger), trigger mode 1(level trigger), and bulk trigger. I monitored the camera IO which can show me the camera exposure time. And I found after every trigger, the camera does exposure twice.
Shall I set the buffer number as 2 if I want to use bulk trigger?
How can I read out the two images in my buffer?

However, they will not really not take up less storage. You can have iTunes use compression to use less storage for music. In the Summary pane for the iPod in iTunes there is a option to: Compress higher bitrate songs to XX kbps ACC. 128 is a good compromise of compress and quality.

I am working with the Oracle 10g Database. While creating several triggers I am encountering quite some problems. In fact, I want to do 2 steps in one trigger. Is that possible? e.g:
Before Update on table for each row
begin
Update table set column=Max(column)+1 where column = 0 and ID = :old.ID;
then
Insert into table values (column1, column2, column3, column)
values (:new.column1, :new.column2, :new.column3, :new.column)
end;
What I want to do is that before an update on the table
1st: update current row and set one value to the max of the column + 1
2nd: insert the new values which are given by the original update statement with the value for the column = 0, which indicates later that this row is the newest one.
Is that somehow possible? I just read that normally you only have one DML statement per trigger. The problem is that both update and insert statement need to be triggered at the same time everytime someone tries to update values of the current table.

Why is it bad to have 30 history tables? I currently work with an application having 141 history tables. Nothing bad about it over here.

We are just saying that your current implementation isn't the best one out there for storing history. As said, you would have to circumvent the mutating table problem. And you would have to take special care about the multi-user situation where two sessions are updating/inserting at the same time and you wouldn't want both to use the same max(column)+1.
Using a history table is an alternative, and so is introducing a "creation_date" column and selecting the rows with the max(creation_date) as your current row.

Trigger delay in Multi acquisition mode

I'm trying to use the 5112 to acquire a burst waveform. I want to average 20 acquisitions or records and take measurements on the average waveform. The burst arrives a certain time after my trigger so I need to use a trigger delay. When I try to change the trigger delay while my program is running I get "Trigger Delay is Invalid" error. The only way I can get it to work is if I reset the device before I reconfigure the trigger. Is this the only way to adjust the trigger delay in multi-record acquisition?

There are two things you need to consider for the trigger
delay:
1)
In a multi-record acquisition using the
NI 5112, the time per record should be > 42 µs and trigger delay should be
> 42 µs. Otherwise, you may observe trigger timeouts. This is found on the

2)
You cannot change the trigger delay
during runtime. You need to stop the acquisition, then reconfigure the device
and then start it again.
I would like to know if your trigger arrives multiple times in
the burst or just a single one each?
If is multiple times, then you can make your record size to be
the entire burst.
If is single time, then I would assume is always the same
delay.

Can I take an image created in Illustrator and have it be on the Character Map? I need to use it as

I have an image that I need to use as a bullet many times for a specific client. Is there a way to take that image from Illustrator and convert it to something on the Character Map?

If by Character Map, you mean the Windows Character Map application, which lets you view the glyphs in a given font, then no, you can't do that with Illustrator.
In order for your bullet (a new glyph) to appear in the Windows Character Map application, it would have to be a glyph inside a font.
Illustrator does not provide the capability of directly editing font files. (Corel Draw does.)
So if you want to edit an existing font, or create a new font, you need a program that can edit and/or modify fonts.
In modifying fonts, you would be restricted by the limitations inherent in fonts: your custom bullet or dingbat would need to consist of a single simple or compound path, and could only receive one color, as any other text object.
The far more common approach to this problem is to use inline graphics. All of Illustrator's mainstrream competitors (and even InDesign) allow you to paste a graphic into a textframe, inline with the text, and have it behave as if it were a character in the text. Illustrator has never provided that commonplace feature.
If you use InDesign you can, as a ridiculously cumbersome workaround, create your text object in InDesign, paste the artwork element(s) inline. When done, copy the whole text object and paste into Illustrator. It will be pasted into AI as PDF content, meaning a Clipping Mask containing a bunch of individual pointType objects and the bullets as separate objects.

Which aperture setting takes sharper images. f/8 or f/11?

I have t2i (550D) and two lenses i.e. 18-55 mm and 55-250 mm. Any idea how to take sharper images of landscape by selecting a particular aperture setting? I read on a different forum that for sharper images f/8 or f/11 are the ideal settings. Any suggestions?

Script to open a multi-image TIFF into a layer stack?

I have a colleague who has multi-image TIFF files, each of which contains a series of images of microscopy sections. He needs Photoshop (Mac version) to read these files, and place the multiple images into a stack of layers in one document. We have found indirect ways of doing this, but they require multiple applications and several steps. Is it possible to create a Photoshop script that does this directly: opening the multi-image TIFF, parsing the file, and loading the images into layers? Does such a script already exist? If not, can you point us toward source code samples that will help us build the script: perhaps snippets for parsing a multi-image TIFF, and initializing a document with multiple layers.

The cost of a repair for that camera would be more than its worth.
You can try drying it out more by openeing the battery compartmen, remove the battery and button cell battery (if it has one)t and placing it in a closed container with silica gel or if your handy take some of the covers off, blow out the moisture with air let it sit and dry with silica gel and keep your fingers crossed. Look at the used ones that are for sale on the net, the G5's sell for about $35 working $50 with accessories.

I want to make a gif from multiple images. However I was hoping to do it with one import of my 30 images? Can this be done via batch import ? I only found making one layer at a time in the tuts I found.

There is a better way then above to create a gif from a stack or multi images:
Step 1:
Window > Workspace > Motion
Step 2
See + sign at bottom of viewport Hit that.
IMPORT
See far Left hand bottom (3 squares in a row) click there
This will offer the option to switch to> Convert timeline to frame animation
Step 4
Set Up:
At top of W.S--Image>Image size (ALT+ctrl+i) SET YOUR OUTPUT SIZE
Now at Bottom--See loop value Once,3times, forever, other
TIP-Shift click all frames to set time to show each frame using arrow menu at bottom of any of your selected frames.
File> save for web> dialogue box appears to then click on desired quality.
Save and or preview from there as well.

I don't think that you can do it with older MacBook's which have iSight cameras on them, the redeem by camera lists requirements as :
Mac with a FaceTime camera (an Apple Display with FaceTime works too)
I think that you will need to manually enter the card's code

I'd put them on an external hard drive(s) and burn them to a DVD as well (at least 2 - 3 copies on different drives/media); I prefer having control and a local solution instead of relying on a server and the possibility of someone (who shouldn't be) downloading my work.

Firefox with one tab open takes up 72 Mb. I disabled all of my Add-ons. How do I solve this?

I disabled all of my add-ons and my Firefox theme is the default that comes with the download.
I cleared my Cache every time I start Firefox up, and I set my internet history to automatically become deleted once I close my Firefox.
The problem is that despite all of my add-ons being disabled and my internet history becoming wiped clean once I close the program Firefox, ***With only one tab open*** takes up 48 Mb.
One time I had only ten tabs open and it took up 600,000 k in my processes (585 Mb.)
This is driving me crazy as in I have been trying to figure it out all day.
I used the Google Chrome Web browser but every tab I open up it creates a new Chrome in the processes and each process takes up 48 Mb.
What is going on?
