Only one mobile contact per contact why

I have a many contacts in my iPhone 5. I've noticed I can only have one phone number for a contact, sometimes companies, with one of the numbers allowed to be categorised as a "Mobile" why.
Please assist.

I can tell the difference between a landline and a mobile number. And to send a text, I have to update/amend contact details though won't I?
This wasn't the case before.
Surely this is wrong.

Addressbook imports only one email address per contact

I am importing a few of my contacts from Outlook to Addressbook.
In my Outlook, these contacts have multiple email addresses (email1, email2, etc)
The exported vCard file also contains all those email addresses.
But when I import them to Addressbook, it seems to accept only the first email address and rest don't appear anywhere.
How do I fix this issue? Is there any setting somewhere that prevents multiple email addresses from being imported into a contact?

Each email address for the contact must be entered separately in the To: field. When typing in the first couple of letters of the contact's name, the autofill feature should pull up each email address for a contact with multiple email addresses.
If a contact with several email addresses is included in a Group mailing list and you want to include all email addresses for a particular contact when addressing a message to the Group, the contact must be listed or duplicated in the Group multiple times - one for each email address. This can be done by copy/paste of the contact within the Group.
Edit the Group Mailing list selecting a different email address for each multiple contact in the Group.

Help with iCloud contacts. Need to bring in only one particular group of contacts into an iPad 2.

I have just updated an iPad 2 which belongs to my father but which has always synced with my Macbook. On my mac, I have set up a "group" of his own contacts, but since upgrading to iOS 5 it keeps pulling in my entire contacts list. I have tried turning off "Contacts' on the iPad's icloud menu, but it has removed all of my father's contacts and when I plug the device into the Macbook and try to sync the way I always had been, it won't let me just sync particular groups, I can only choose to sync "all" contacts. Does anyone know how to make the Macbook, itunes sync allow me to pick and choose what groups of contacts I want on this device?

you can go back to sync with itunes 10.5 just like you did in iOS4 before.
If you want to continue your use/sync of iCloud Email ( most users want their @me.com ) :
On Mac Lion go  -> System Settings -> icloud , leave only the wanted sync options active, like Mail, turn off Adressbook sync plus all other unwanted items.
Power on your iOS device, tap "Settings" -> icloud and set it up to match exactly the same items like for the Mac.
Then on your next connection of the device to iTunes on Mac, you can select the various items that shall be managed using iTunes sync and not the cloud. Adressbook is under the "Info(rmation)" section.

Sync only one mobile phone number

It's a problem for long time. I am using the latest MacBook Pro with 9700. When I sync, it only copy one mobile phone number to the device if the contacts has more one mobile phone number.
Any suggestion?

How to realize only one identical remoteApp per session per user per computer?

If a terminalserver 2008 R1 is configured for only one session per user, everything works like it should if the user connects using the 'normal' remotedesktop session. A second connect with the same credentials kicks the first connect.
If a remoteApp is used instead of the 'normal' connect, it's possible to start multiple instances of this app within one user a least from one computer. mstsc do run multiple times and seem to link in the existent connection without kicking it. How to change
that?

one session per user, this RemoteApp shouldn't start multiple within one user. Using a "normal" remote desktop session the app doesn't start more than one time, I tested it. Used as RemotApp, the app starts multiple! Possibly I'm able to change this behaviour

Only One Mobile User can Log In to Laptop

I have a network account on my Mac Book Pro. I can log in no problem, access everything on the network, etc. but no one else can log in to this particular laptop. All of the other users can log into each other's identical Mac Book Pros, my account included. I have checked in my MBP's System Preferences > Accounts and the "Allow network users to login to this computer" checkbox is checked. The PDC is Leopard 10.5.6 running Open Directory.
When one of the other network accounts tries to log in to my computer we get the following error:
You are unable to login to the user account (username) at this time. Logging in to the account failed because of an error.
I have googled that error but nothing seems to apply to this situation. Most of the postings found here and on the web are authenticating against Active Directory, and the assumption seems to be no one can log in, not just select accounts.
I've done plenty of searching here and on Google but the description of the problem is hard to summarize so I'm posting my own question. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

Is this a second hand phone? It sounds like the it is and the previous owner did not disable Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of iOS. If this is the case then the only solution is to get the previous owner to unlock it.

Only One User Account Per Client Computer

I am definitely a newbie, so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I am the principal (unfortunately, also the head of the tech department) of a small international school in Indonesia. We are trying to set up a network using a MacMini using Mavericks 10.9.5 running server 3.1.2. We have created an Open Directory and when the computers (iMacs running Mavericks 10.9.5) first turn on each client will successfully log-in the first user account of the day. When the user logs out of the client and another user tries to log-in, they receive a message that says that the "home folder for user "xxxxx" isn't located in the usual place or can't be accessed". The user cannot open any apps, but they can connect to the server and see their home folder. Restarting the computer allows the new user to log-in successfully. This forum has been immensely helpful on our journey, but I can't seem to find a similar problem. I feel the solution will be as easy as checking a box, but I cannot figure it out. Thanks in advance for your advice.

But for future reference, you wouldn't need to deauthorize anything. All you need to do is go to the iTunes Gift Card link on the main iTunes Music Store page (in iTunes), enter in the code for the card, and when offered the opportunity, create a new account (assuming you haven't already created one for yourself with a credit card).
Then you just need to make sure that the appropriate person is logged in to the iTMS. The login link is that the upper-right of the ITMS window. If the wrong person's ID is shown, log that user out and log in with the appropriate person's info.
And there's no authorization at all on music you've imported from CDs. So nothing you do with the iTMS will have any effect on such tracks.
Anyway, sorry no one responded, but now you know, at least.

You can restrict guests to having only one device connected to the network at a time. When guests attempt to connect with a second device, the currently-connected device is automatically disconnected from the network.
This is a global setting affecting all Guest portals.
Step 1 Choose Administration > Web Portal Management > Settings > Guest > Portal Policy.
Step 2 Check the Allow only one guest session per user option.
Step 3 Click Save.

OVI Suite synchs only one phone number per each contact into the phone. Is there a way to enable multiple phone numbers sync?

Are you talking about the contact numbers not getting syched into the phone or into the Outlook?
I can see it works for Mobile, Telephone, Telephone (work) and Telephone (home) from OVi to Outlook.
Can you please check and let me know which option is not getting synched to Outlook 2007..

Sound coming out of only one speaker

I'm in the middle of editing a movie, and I've run into a little snag with the audio.
I'm using an audio file I recorded in GarageBand, turned into an mp3 in iTunes, and then dragged into iMovie. The file plays out of both speakers (in mono, but I'm not picky) in GarageBand and iTunes, but once it gets to iMovie, it only plays out of one speaker. I feel like this should be fairly simple to fix, as the audio doesn't even have to be extracted from a video clip as it's already an .mp3. But for some reason I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

Twits.. (?!) ..various mics do produce mono, and sometimes on one channel only - e.g; left only - when plugged into a camcorder. Sometimes add-on Sony 'gun mics' may give only one channel if the contacts aren't properly touching on a Sony 'intelligent' hot-shoe (..the shoe which grips a Sony add-on mic).
Using Sound Studio (..see above..) you can easily copy, say, the left channel's mono audio onto a soundtrack's right channel (..tho' it'd still be mono: same thing out of both the left and right speakers..) so that the sound is there on both left and right.
To do that, just 'extract' the audio from the relevant video clip(s), double-click the extracted tracks to see what iMovie calls each of them (..probably 'Voice 01', 'Voice 02', etc..) then open your 14-days'-free-use download of Sound Studio and use 'File' and 'Open' to navigate to your extracted audio file, and then Select, Copy and Paste the one channel to the other side, as shown here.
[..To get to your extracted audio file(s), navigate to 'Movies', then within that should be the name of your particular movie, then open that movie folder and go to 'Media' ..at least that's what it's called in iMovie 4: I can't remember how it's organised - slightly differently - in iMovieHD.. and there will be your 'Voice' (extracted audio) file(s).]
NOTE: do NOT look in the 'Waveforms' folder; that just hold pictures of the look of your audio files; it doesn't contain the audio files themselves!
When you've edited the audio in Sound Studio - or whatever other program you might use, like Audacity or GarageBand - just use File and Save, and the changes will immediately play in iMovie.
NOTE also: if your add-on mics have only mono mini-jacks (..a long metal 'shank' with a single separate contact on the end..) you can simply replace those with 'stereo' mini-jack plugs (..shank plus 'ring' and 'tip'..) - if you're handy with a soldering iron - by soldering together the 'ring' and 'tip' contacts of a stereo jack within that mini stereo jack plug. That feeds the mono signal to both the left and right channels, and should then solve all future problems.
[..Not the exact info you need, but these pics should show you roughly what I mean: ignore the RCA-plug pics, and just look at the mini-jack and socket pics to see the left and right contacts. Click on 'Start Slideshow' for bigger, easier to see pics..]

In main I have to print line items. Now while printing line items , my requirement is print ONLY ONE LINE ITEM PER PAGE.
For every page header and footer should repeat.
I am trying with AT NEW command but it is giving error. I am using table to loop on item data table.
Please tell me urgently how to do it.

Hi,
If you want to continue using the table this is what you can do.
Im assuming u only use the table for printing line items
So
Create a loop above the table
Place the table inside the loop.
Uncheck the internal table check box inside the tables Data tab
and copy that looping information into the loop.
After the table, and inside the loop ..place the command node.
Also place whatever data in ther main section of the Table now in the header of the table
