javascript menues that operate fine by onmouseover/out in IE doesnt work in firefox, is there any solution to it ? i've tried the getelement but it didnt help . any clue will be appriciated .

Hello aviw, This problem could probably be caused by a Firefox extension. To make sure that no extension is causing the problems, start Firefox in Safe Mode by following the instructions in the <a class="kblink" href="http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe Mode">Safe Mode</a> article.

To update, I also just phoned Apple this morning, there's not much they could do at all. My personal opinion is that the number that was recycled (when I got it changed just very recently for the Android) must have somehow previously been linked to an pre-existing Apple ID. There was nothing they could do. They had me do numerous things that unfortunately had no successful results.
They even had me unregister my product from the Apple website, again, no success.
He did, however, say that there is an update going through beta testing at the moment that should, more than likely, have a patch in it for this particularily known issue since it's been an issue for awhile. So within a couple of months when it's released, I'm hoping this will fix it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed until then.
Turning iMessage off is the temporary solution that works for me. So I'm happy enough for that. Anyone else who would want to text her, would have to do the same.

Macbook and T220HD (22 display). 1680x1050 doesnt work anymore !

Hi! I have a macbook with a 22 inches external display (samsung t220hd). It was working fine for 9 months but i have a problem now... Last week i get my adapter (minidvi to vga) to other display to see a movie... but when i plugged it again at home... it doesnt worked fine.
The macbook doesnt detect the screen like "syncmaster", now it says "Screen" and i cant choose the optimal mode in resolution menu (1680x1050). I fully erased the hd and reinstalled OSX and nothing...
I have the minidvi to dvi too, but it doesnt work in the dvi port or the hdmi port.
Can someone help me?

Maybe. Could be the heads bouncing against the platters - could be the optical drive. Best to take your machine to your local Apple Store and have them diagnose the problem. They can tell you if your data is salvageable.

I "upgraded" to FF4, now it doesnt work properly, wont open pages, will open blank tabs when i click on a link, tried to go back to the older one but that doesnt work now either, have tested it with Safari and it opens everything fine. Any ideas?

After upgrading to firefox 4 im now having a lot of problems using the browser.
if i try an open a link in a new tab it will just open up a blank tab, if i click on links or even type in the google search bar at the top it doesnt do anything, it just says "done" and the circle thing stops as if im on the page already, have tested it with Safari doing the same things and Safari works fine. I'd swap but all my bookmarks and passwords are in Firefox so id rather stay with that.
I tried going back to the older version of firefox (3.5 or something) but seems the bugs are here to stay now.......so.......any ideas? because its really annoying, shouldn't have "upgraded".
Is there a new patch coming out anytime soon or should i start getting used to Safari?

I would copy over the entire thing if you have room. With iTunes 10.4 though, you can download any previous iTunes purchases you have made in the past with your current iTunes account. While in iTunes, look at the left hand side of your screen and select "Purchases" and look at the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Download Previous Purchases". If you have an iPhone, iPod and/or iPad...you can do the same thing from each device. Nice new feature...just remember that those ripped CDs need a back-up!!! Enjoy...

If you have records that show that you've taken your MacBook Pro in for a year to fix the machine, I would escalate the problem to Apple Customer Relations - unfortunately I don't have a number for Spain.
It would only seem logical to me that if you've been trying to have the machine repaired during the time that the 'recall' was in effect that you should be eligible for a new logic board. But only customer relations will be able to make that call.
Good luck - take the issue as high up the food chain as you can and see what happens.

Form submit button doesnt work in firefox 7.0.1 but works fine in IE and Chrome.

Consolidation package doesnt work, monitor works perfectly fine.

I am facing a very weird problem. I have setup the consolidation and ownership models with all the structure configured and all the equity/intercompany elims configured. When I trigger the consolidations from Consolidation monitor, it works perfectly fine but when I trigger it from the data manager package, it doesnt do anything. I have not changed the script logic for consolidations. (FX works fine).
I staged some data for intercompany elims and tried to run the package but it didnt eliminate the balances. Then I ran the consolidation monitor, the monitor eliminates the balances and we see the expected results. From BW, we see that the package is triggering the LEGAL_CONSOLIDATION process chain but it doesnt process any records.
(Version is the category dimension)

Hi Mandar, you've understood me wrong there.
There are 2 types of currency conversions in BPC. You have to make sure you are running GROUP currency conversion.
It's best you add this part in your logic file as well. It should look like this:

Put new battery in ipod. works fine but windows doesnt see

a few days ago I successfully put a new battery in my ipod.
it has worked fine: charges plays all the music nothing weird.
Then I tried to hook it up to my computer and my itunes doesnt recognize it, windows sees it but I cant access it (says Ipod on drive G). i am in the process of updating it (2005-11-17) now but it appears to be frozen. the drive is full so i dont really know how long it will take and maybe its not frozen.
i also got this prompt:

I did theother 4 R's as well before this and even changed the cable just to make sure. any thoughts???

they are these blue straight plastic things with a little wedge hook doo dad on the end. they couldnt open the ipod initially , i used an exacto knife and pryed it open a little then got the plastics in there. Like changing a bike tube they give you two "irons" to work with. one to hold it open and the other to slid towards the top and bottom. it pops right open. you need to open it from the sides not the bottom or top. The mini i have no idea how to open i also thing the nano is built like the mini. I am sure if you google the battery replacement product it comes with instructions (but make sure you have good eyes, the writing and examples are TINY.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
