Open custom page after executing PNE_SAVE_QUERY

I want to display custom page after executing PNE_SAVE_QUERY service. How to do that?

Create a component. Add a template to that component. When you create the template you give it a name, something like MY_CUSTOM_PAGE. Now you need to set the Page variable to have the name of your template. For this you have a least two options:
1. You could override the PNE_SAVE_QUERY service in your component and set the variable in there. That would override whatever value Page has for every request to save query.
2. You could find where the call to PNE_SAVE_QUERY is happening and where the Page variable is getting set and override that dynamic html include and set Page there
Either way, you need to set Page to the name of the template.

Can't open one custom page from other custom page after import.

Hi all!
I've created 2 custom pages "EITPersonPG" and "EITPersonMainPG" and imported them to the mds repository using import.bat. I created a function for "EITPersonPG" and added it into menu. I can open my pages from menu directly but when I try open "EITPersonMainPG" from "EITPersonPG" I get this error:
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: No data found for region (ibsborlas/oracle/apps/per/eit/webui/EITPersonMainPG).

I executed "exec jdr_utils.printDocument('/ibsborlas/oracle/apps/per/eit/webui/EITPersonMainPG');" in Sql and it's OK.
I created a function for "EITPersonMainPG" and added it into menu. I can open it.
I can open "OA.jsp?page=ibsborlas/oracle/apps/per/eit/webui/EITPersonMainPG" from menu, but can't open it from "OA.jsp?page=ibsborlas/oracle/apps/per/eit/webui/EITPersonPG".
What must I do so as to open "EITPersonMainPG" from "EITPersonPG"?

I've solved question about bouncing the apache server according to Doc ID: 471763.1 "R12 How To Bounce Apache And Clear HTML Cache In Vision Instance And Have Updated Java Code Class Active"
Note :At R12 level bouncing apache command is different of the one to bounce oacore oc4j engine andothers. An example of situation is : how to make a modification to a JSPand have > > that modification recognized by the OC4J - JSP engine.
So to clarify :
1. In 11i the apache start and stop command , also
bounce the JVM running on JSERV and clear caches by doings as below :To clear the jsp & modplsql caches run this commandrm -Rf $OA_HTML/_pages/*rm -Rf $COMMON_TOP/_pages/*rm -> Rf $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/modplsql/cache/*
2. In R12 the command to stop and start apache only takes action on
Apache web server and not on the OC4J container that executes the JVM.
To bounce the OC4J container there is an specific script:
*$INST_TOP/admin/scripts/adoacorectl.sh*
Therefore when making a modification to a JAVA class in R12 for the
web application, in order to have that change recognized, it is needed to bounce
OC4J using adoacorectl.sh script.
Bouncing oacore OC4J engine may also be needed if you make
modifications to system properties. Example for JTT based

Error while trying to open custom page

Hi,
I am getting error message "You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance. " while trying to access the new custom page i developed.
i have imported the page definition to MDS and copied all the .class and xml files to appropriate directories in $JAVA_TOP
i am able to view the page definition using command
SQL> exec jdr_utils.printdocument('/xxicx/oracle/apps/icx/po/webui/PODetailsSearchPG');
below is the URL it shows when the error message is displayed

Thanks a lot for pointing to the profile name, i was stuck, as there was no details of why the error is happening; after enabling the profile i am able to view error stack and resolved the error (AM was missing.. :) )

this code is executed and changes the state correctly, but to see the change you have to re-open the document. I need to refresh the page and the user can see the new status immediately.

you can acheive this by reverting the bol buffer.
Afte the FM call 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT', check sy-subrc. If it is ZERO, execute the below code else not.
* Read header Entity
lr_ent ?= me->typed_context->your context node name->collection_wrapper->get_current( ).
* get Transaction
lr_trans ?= lr_ent->get_transaction( ).
* Revert all changes
lr_trans->revert( ).
As you have already commited changes using 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'. Now revert will only bring the changes from the database again and will not affect your status changes which you made recently.

Not able to open BEX Analyzer after Executing RRMX Tcode

My operating system is Windows,
Whenever I start system pop up comes path is
c:\program files\SAP\internet graphic server\bin\igswdserv.exe and it does not close. when I try to close one more grafic window opens.
After stearting the console all tcodes are executable in my BI system but not able to run T code RRMX.
Can anyone help me out to execute T code RRMX and how to close above window.

But I always access via market place (which is exactly the same steps of SAP notes):

How do you return to web page after executing servlet?

When I submit some values to my servlet from a page, using a from, how do I get back into the web page directory? When you call the servlet, the url turns to "./servlet", and if I click on submit again, it tries to find "./servlet/servlet" so obviously it kicks up an error.
Basically I want the servlet to accept answers in a form, rebuild that form using the answers submitted, and go back to that rebuild. Hopefully, the user shouldn't notice anything changing, which is the idea, excepth his/her answers have been stored by the servlet.
ANY help would be much appreciated.

Could you briefly explain how this works joshman. Are you saying use send.redirect or something else I have not found? if so, could you elborate a bit (some method names would be usefull too). I have no idea about headers, which probably doesn't help.
The problem is I either have to out.println the modified html (with the answers in the values in the input tags), which means I must get the web server to look in the directory where the original page came from, otherwise pictures and other stuff dont show. Then just outputting the html would be as if the original html file was given with inserted values.
OR
I have to save modified html files in the same directory under different names, give these to the client and delete them after a while to save spacew. I'd rather not have to do this as it complicates stuff.

Why does safari stop opening web pages after a while in use?

Since upgrading to Lion, my imac (Intel) 21.5 works fine for most of the time, but frequently when using Safari to browse the internet, it will stop accessing pages, either from new searches or from history - the blue loading bar in the address panel starts, then stops. Safari itself keeps working, new tabs can be opened, history can be checked, etc. Checking the Wi-Fi shows that it is still connected, and other PCs and ipods in the house can still access the net, showing it is not a net or router problem. Restarting the machine does not usually cure the issue, only shutting down for a long period, eg overnight, when it generally starts up fine again.
This has been happening almost since I upgraded 2 months ago, but not every time we use Safari.

You can do some basic Safari trouble shooting by:
Safari - Reset Safari
Safari - Empty Cache
You can also be just low on RAM. As a general rule your system should have about 500MB or more of FREE RAM. To check to see how much your system has open Activity Monitor - System Memory Tab and look for the amount of free RAM. You can find AM in Applications - Utilities - Activity Monitor. Remember to check when you are seeing a slow down otherwise the information will be meaningless. The graphic will look similar to:

I was having the same problem. If you upgraded to Lion - apparently there is a 'general tab' in the system preferences that has a box that you need to un check. (The box says something about restoring all last windows from last session)
If you updated Safari but are not using Lion, here is how to fix it. Simply delete this item fromyour Mac HD and restart Safari.
[USERHOME]/library/preferences/com.apple.safari.plist

Safari 5 doesn't open new pages after website button selected

Hi. I am unable to load some websites after selecting some buttons on popular sites including PayPal and www.ryanair.com.
Actually I am unable to book a flight ticket and I had to visit my friend to do so on his computer. The same happens when I try to log in into PayPal account. After hitting *"Log In"* button there is NO action with Safari 5. No new Tab, no new window, no progress bar... Nothing.
The same happens with my MacBook. At ryanair.com after selecting the flight I am unable to proceed by hitting the button *"Select and Continue"*. Button *"New Search"* works normally.
Exactly the same situation on both Macs. Latest Safari 5 update. Both websites works under Firefox on both computers.
Does anybody has any idea what might be the problem?
I have repaired permissions already - no help.

Uppps, there is one change - PayPal site shows some action in the status bar, but without an effect.
If you are connecting to the internet using a cable modem, try disconnecting for 5 minutes, then reconnect and relaunch Safari.
See if you have any Safari third party plugins... Safari: Add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
If the problem isn't third party plugins, install the v10.6.3 Combo Update It's ok to do this even if you are already running v10.6.3.
Then repair disk permissions (again).
Also, have you tried using a different browser??? Always good to have a back up.
Logging into another user account, try Safari there. If you have the same problems there, then it's a system wide glitch, not just isolated to your user account.

Safari won't open some pages after changing internet provider

Since I changed my internet provider Safari decided not to work. Not sure if it is just a coincidence or not. I have been looking for solutions on the forum and test some suggestions but I getting nowhere.
I have reset Safari several times, empty cache, clear history and I still can not open Google, Gmail, Facebook, Youtube as the main ones but it opens Twitter. I get no error messsage or anything, it just hangs and sometimes I go to make a cup of tea and when I get back google.ie is open.
Another thing that I notice is that I have a message saying "The google safe browsing Service is unavailable. No updates 110 days" I tried to untick and re-start Safari but I still ahve the same problem. I'm not sure if it has anything to do or not.
The strange thing is that I have another imac and macbook but the problem is only on this one. Chrome just crashes a lot so if I could get my Safari back would be great. If anybody has a suggestion I would really appreciate because I spent hours and I'm getting no results at all.

Hi,
According to your description, you want to get uploaded file details after uploading the files in a custom page.
I suggest you create an event receiver in the custom page so that you can get file details when the files are added to the document library.
Here is a code snippet for your reference:

I found that the HTML Call was incorrect as I put it in between " " before.

After I removed the " ", I've got a new error which I attached.
It missleading error:

Open a custom page on click of a result from Search Result screen

Hi,
We are in process of designing the architecture of our sharepoint application. We have a tweeky requirement.
From the default search results page, if user click on one of the result, a custom page should open which not only display the actual result text but this page should have the concatenated string of text from some other items.
For instance:
there are 2 lists:
List A with an item with text "Design: Complex hierarchy"
and List B with an item with text "Design: Hello"
If user searched "Complex" then a click on the result on search results page should open a page with this content
"Design: Complex hierarchy (tab)(tab...) Design:Hello"
Any solution or direction is welcome.
