Open-PO LSMW

I have a LSMW for open PO.When i upload the PO the system is taking the price which is given in the info record.It is ignoring the Price given in the LSMW template.
This what which is written in the program,
Source: POSIZIONI-NET_PRICE (Net price in purchasing document (in docume
Rule :   Transfer (MOVE)
Code:    if not POSIZIONI-NET_PRICE is initial.
           E1BPMEPOITEM-NET_PRICE = POSIZIONI-NET_PRICE.
         endif.
What should be done for the system to read the price from LSMW template?

LSMW : Error @ unable to open test_create_cond.lsmw.read.

Hi All,
Business is trying to use LSMW to upload condition records. When we executed LSMW project, it worked well.
Now, when tester runs it gives a short dump. error messages says
u201Cno authorization to open file " test_create_cond.lsmw.read":
I am thinking that the user is not having authorization to access the file u201Ctest_create_cond.lsmw.read u201C.
How can I check whether the user is having user authorization or Not.
However, When i looked in Al11 the imported file is there. Please help me

Hi
It's a problem of authorizations and policy to manage it: B_LSMW_EXEC can be only a part of the authorization profile of a user.
All authorizations of a user can have are the set of all authorizations of the assigned profiles: that means when u assign a certain profile to a user, the authorizations belonging to that profile will be valid for all transactions.
That's very important when it creates a user profile or rule:
example, if a user can't open a file, it must be careful not to give profiles that allow him to open a file, else the user can do it in all SAP transactions.
Now the problem is to understand if your user can't or couldn't open a file: if the user has to be run the trx LSMW, the user can open a file, but now you'll have conflict:
if you'll assign the authorization-object S_DATASET, the user can open a file in trx LSMW but also in all other transactions: do you really want to allow it? as it's conflict with the original user profile.
The user can or can't open a file:
- if he can't, he shouldn't have B_LSMW_EXEC,
- if he can, probably its original profile is wrong.
So before assigning an authority-object like S_DATASE, u should speak about this problem to people manage the user profile in order not to create some conflict for the other transactions.

Open PO LSMW Quantity conversion error in net price calculation

I encountered an error as I was tring to upload purchase orders - "Quantity conversion error in net price calculation". What does this mean and how do I fix this?

Where in the Material Master can I find the conversion ratio between both units?
Also, I am trying to upload POs for Spare Parts and that's when I get the error. But when I try to use other materials like FGs, everything is ok. I can proceed with the upload without any problem

Steps are not displayed in LSMW

When I open as LSMW in dutch language the STEPs are not displayed.But when the same LSMW is opened in english language the steps are visible.

Found solution for steps not displayed in LSMW:
Transaction :SMLT
check whether your language (DUTCH in mycase) has supplemention with ENGLISH OR GERMAN Language If not then import neccesary package.

Export-Import for LSMW

HI, Please let me know how to export the project-subproject-object from one devlopment server to qulity server, IN qulity server we have to import the same objects. please let me know the procedure

Dear All,
I have got few LSMWs created in my Dev System and also in SND systems.
Earlier I used the Export-Import mechanism for moving them to Q & P.
However I am facing issues now.
When I try to export the LSMW it opens me windows dialog box with C: drive but instead of showing me Save button,it shows me open button for click.
When I press that it does not do anything.If I select some other location and click this open button LSMW gets exported in file with the message mapping and rules exported successfully..
Now when I try to import the LSMW in another server, it does not import it & gives me error 'No importable information can be found in the file.'
Am I missing anything here ?
I have already done import export successfully couple of times in the past but why I am getting this error ?
Also, why cant I see Save button while exporting to hard drive and why it does not get exported to C: drive which appears default ?
Request you to suggest please.

BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST line item text SGTXT not updating

Hi,
We have copied following LSMW for opening balance upload from ECC 5 to ECC 6.
When we upload through LSMW (BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST ) which is used for uploading opening balances of G/L accounts field Long Text (Tech Name: ITEM_TEXT) not updating.
Form Vendor and Customer Opening balances LSMWs Long Text (Tech Name: ITEM_TEXT) field of G/L line item is not updating. According to my observation data field SGTXT of BSEG table. not getting updated through this LSMW. I have tried same transaction through T Code F-02 and it is updating field SGTXT of BSEG table. As per confirmation from business same LSMWs are working fine in ECC 5.

LSMW - Open Sales Orders

Hello Friends
I want to find if anybody can guide me on how to get all open sales order tables , i want to create a format and create a flat file for uplodading the file , for this what do i need and how do i do it.
Also for creating LSWM can i use the existing one which i can just Assign the New file to the existing one .

You want to extract all the open sales orders- which you can get from Table:VBUP key in overall document status in selection screen ( You can use VBUK also- but if there are certain sales orders in which some of the items are completed or few of them open, using VBUK - you will not get exact records)
Secondly, you can get the data by using Query also- in SQVI
design a query with VBAK / VBAP & VBUP
so that from VBAK you can give time period & sales area details
from VBAP - you can enter plant relevant details to filter certain records & item category as well
where as VBUP- filter wth the status.
once downloaded store in flat file.
Now Create LSMW object by using batch input recording method. after mapping the relevant fields,
prepare the flat file in such a - it suits to the upload file / recording file. then you can upload the already downloaded n stored open sales orders in flat file.
Hope this is what you are looking for.

what is the standard object available for this migration in lsmw.?i thought of using
0090 salesdocument standrd object using direct input method but field ismactivation is not available in that object.
if i go for bapi method salesorder_createfromdat2 i couldnt find the above fields for mapping in that object.but some of the guys in this forum used this bapi method for this type of migration i dnt how they did it can u please suggest solution for this .

Hi!
In the given BAPI, the field names are different. You have to match them using their description or data type.
If you check this BAPI in transaction SE37, on hte Import tab, click on the BAPISDHD1ref type.
Here you can find the field DOC_TYPE (type AUART). With this way, you can find the matching fields.

Hi Vishal,
Please make a note that,
LSMW is used to transfer Master Data.
BDC is used for transactional Data.
LSMW can import data from legacy systems (e.g. in the form of Excel sheets or CSV files). For this, I guess, LSMW converts your data into batch input files automatically. If you use BDC, on the other hand, you have to write your batch input file yourself, line per line.
So, Open Purchase Order are the Transactional Data for you can use BDC for this Purpose
Please take your ABAPER's help to will write a Code to Migrate the Data.

LSMW for Open Production Order Creation

Hi all,
I want to migrate open production orders from legacy system to the other SAP system. Please let me know how should I do it?
I tried using the idoc method with Message type LOIPRO and the Basic Type LOIPRO01 but the it gives a error that No process code for message type LOIPRO. I guess this is a Outbound Idoc.
Next I tried searching for a BAPI for prodcution orders. I found the BAPI, BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE. But it does not contain all the fields I need. Also this BAPI cannot be used in LSMW as it ALE message type does not exist for it.
So please let me know how can I use the idoc method to create the production order as I have all the fields required in the idoc basic type. Also please share if any other method is there to upload the data.

We had to use BAPIs to upload the production orders.
It was not possible with LSMW.

Open PR & PO migration using LSMW

Hi All,
is it possible to migrate open PO & PR using LSMW method. I have already migrated material master by using LSMW( Recording) .
but it's not possible to migrate open PR or PO using LSMW recording method.
can i use direct input method to upload open PO & PR ? Please advice which method is best for open PO & PR.

LSMW BAPI Open Sales Order Load - How to update conditions?

Hello gurus,
I was using the BAPI SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 to upload open sales orders. Wanted to overwrite the default PR00 pricing condition that gets pulled from the customer-material info record, with the price that was existing in the original legacy system when the order was created there. Used the E1BPCOND structure in the Idoc, but since there is no such thing as a E1BPCONDX structure(corresponding to the structure BAPICONDX in the origial BAPI) where you could specify whether the condition should be updated, added or deleted, it adds a second PR00 condition with the legacy system price. The original PR00 condition with the customer-material record price still stays there. Eventhough the order seems to be taking into consideration only the second one I added, to determine the total pricing, I am worried the original sitting there, might cause problems down the document flow. Is there a way to update the existing PR00 condition(rather than adding a new one) on the order, through some flag in the Idoc structure that I am not aware of?
Would greatly appreciate an answer ASAP.

Thanks and appreciate your taking your time to reply, Gerard, I guess my problem is, we are still on 46C, and the only message type available for this BAPI is SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT201. Just called a friend who is on ECC 60 who confirmed that the later version of this message type, SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT202 has the E1BPCONDX structure. I don't have that option since on LSMW it automatically defaults to the only message type(and method CREATEFROMDAT2) that is available, when you choose business object BUS2032. Guess I am out of luck, unless you have any other options to suggest.

Working on LSMW using IDoc method for processing Open Sales Orders

We are currently in middle of creation of a new instance of production for a different Business SBU. We are looking to utilise the LSMW tool using IDocs for uploading / transferring the open orders to the new box. If some one has worked on LSMW using IDocs, please get in touch and if you could share any documents on the process of utilising the LSMW tool using Idocs for any kind of conversions, it would be great. The following is a sample case.
1. Each order will have multiple segments with different qualifiers under various segments.
2. Multiple line items would be available under each order.
Issues we are currently looking to solve :
1. How do you manage to loop through the qualifiers during processing for the same segment.
2. How do you prepare the tool to recognise the multiple line items of the same order.
3. What kind of strategy needs to be used to create the input data file(s). Like, splitting the header and detail level information ?
Note : The volume of data we are looking at is somewhere around 40-60 thousand orders worldwide.
