Opening pdf in ADF popup menu

Hi All,
I have big issue in opening a pdf file under ADF popup menu. currently, the popup menu is working fine and but i dun know how to load the pdf once the popup menu is loaded. I tried to put javascript code in <body> with "onLoad=...", however, i dun know how to load pdf from javascript.
Any one has a good idea to get around this problem???

I would like to insert a pdf file into the database and then display it. Actually I do not know how to insert the file into the db nor how to extract it. I use a library (jpedal) to show the pdf and am able to represent a byte stream, but how do I get it?

Hi there.
I made a little photo painting app on android where you can open (via the native file opener with filerefence.browse() it works beautifully) and save (directly to CameraRoll with addBitmapData also works perfectly) an image. Now i would like to share the saved image.
I would like to use the native android 'share picture via' popup. I found on a forum the native code for it ( http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3553017/android-share-via-dialog ).
Since we cannot execute native code for mobiles as i can read from the flash doc, is there a way to get this working at all?

I too would like to know if this is possible. I use it all the time with native apps to send files to my dropbox. If it was up to me, this would be a MUST HAVE feature.

Not one option, the only option. Unless you want to open the PDF in an applet or a Flash application, which would be bad.

Challenge popup menu, css stylesheet and button in table component

Hello, in my last post i put the code of an example of popup menu but the only thing that need to run was a cdata tag. But in the example i only can open and close the popup menu in the top and left location that previously set in the css stylesheet .
1.- I need to create a popup menu that can be diplayed if i click on a button in a table component of creator
2.- The menu must waits and let me select the opcion I choose with a click otherrewise
3.- The menu must dissapear if i move the cursor mouse away of the menu,
I really need somebody helps me faster as u can, and i apreciate ur help, tnks!

The best thing to do would be to find an existing popup menu widget in a JavaScript library, like dojo (dojotoolkit.org). If you can't find an existing JavaScript widget that fulfills your needs, you can write your own. It won't be easy, but you can use Creator's Auto Complete Text Field's JavaScript as a model. If that is the case, look at both the JavaScript at http://sunapp2.whardy.com/AjaxSamples2/faces/static/META-INF/autocomplete/script.js and the HTML source of the page located at http://sunapp2.whardy.com/AjaxSamples2/faces/DemoAutoCompleteTextField.jsp which is a page that is part of the Creator AJAX component catalog (http://developers.sun.com/ajax/componentscatalog.jsp).

I thought I had the Foxit Reader Plug-In reinstalled since I installed FF5, but I've reinstalled it again anyway and reset it to open in Firefox under Tools Options. Once I was happy with the latest Foxit Reader I really didn't want to even try the dead-buried-and-decomposed Adobe Acrobat again. I've disabled that now as it wasn't opening pdfs in Firefox either when I had it selected under Tools Options.

These are the steps I performed on my own system many months ago. I could not view PDF files in Firefox with both Adobe Reader and Foxit installed.

Displaying PDF file in ADF popup

I am using JDevloper 11.1.2.0.0, browser IE8, Adobe reader 10.1.4
I am using servlet to stream the pdf to the inlineframe inside the popup. using the approach given in the following URL

I am facing following problem
1. On closing the pop-up the parent page turned to blank, sometimes the pop-up also blank.
2. When I use IE9, Google chrome, I observe that service method of servlet executed more than three times.
I don't have any clue why it is happening.
Can anyone help me to solve this issue?

Back up all data.
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, there should be a setting in its preferences such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected. Otherwise do as follows.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others — I don't have a complete list.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

Oracle ADF - Context Sesitive popup menu.

I have a table in my application.
The way I created it,
I drag and dropped it on .jspx from Data Control->ProductVO->Named Criteria->All queriable Attributes
Then pop opened->Quick Query->ADF Quick Query with table.
On right click of any record from table, I want to open a context menu which will contains options like
- Lock Product
- Unlock Product
- Release Termsheet

Open PDF from menu/list box?

I would like to be able to have site visitors view a list of
PDF's in a menu/list box and then be able to open the PDF they
select. Now, I have the menu box in a form. Selecting a PDF, then
clicking the forms submit button, brings up another form. the
second form shows the record (the PDF which was selected) - and
clicking the submit button brings up the PDF. I would like it to be
a one-click process versus what I have now.
I don't know what code to palce for the 'action' attached to
the first submit button.
I would appreciate any help. I am using ASP js.

You still need to have a single action on the first form to
handle the
selection but what I would do is send it to a page and use a
Response.Redirect to send them to the write page. The
following is vb script

JMenu:How to keep popup menu open after clicking disabled JMenuItem

A menu usually shows all options, even those that are for some reason disabled. When clicking on a disabled option, nothing should happen. Unfortunately, the JMenu does not follow this philosophy: clicking on a disabled option fires no action, but the popup menu closes. It is a minor problem but I prefer the standard behaviour. Any ideas ?
