  • Runtime error 429, activeX component cant create object while using netbet pro on windows 7 & 8.1 HELP!!!

runtime error 429, activeX component cant create object while using netbet pro
does anyone know what I could do to fix this problem??? netbet pro was't available for a while then it's back but has yet to run

    What's netbet pro?
I'd recommend asking questions about third party applications in the vendor's forum, not a Microsoft forum meant for admin scripting.

  • User gets Active X Runtime error 429 while running 10.1.3.4.1 Build 130

    Hello all,
I have a user running BI Publisher Desktop 10.1.3.4.1 Build 130 as an addon in Word 2010. He has had multiple issues with this program in the past, one of which even forced us to reinstall his machine to resolve. He is on a clean build of Windows XP with all Microsoft updates applied for the OS and Office.
Initially he called because he was getting a "The macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of your macro security settings" error, even though all of his macros were enabled. I found a post on the forums here telling me to run C:\Documents and Settings>del /S /A:H /A:-H *.EXD which resolved the issue. This is the post: Re: Need Help Iam getting error when i try to open my RTF file
After doing this he went into Word 2010, clicked on add-ons, data, and load xml. He has a few files he loads up, and eventually gets a Active X Runtime error 429. I can see .net is trying to load in the background when the error is presented.
I found another post here that sent me out to this site: http://obipro.blogspot.com/2012/06/setting-up-obiee-publisher.html On this site, error 429 is listed. The recommended fix is to "remove and reinstall dotnetfiles using setup.exe located at <C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\DotNetInstallFiles>" I found the setup.exe located in this path and ran it. .net isn't uninstalled by running this, but XMLPReportingTools4WordSetup asks if it would like to be repaired or uninstalled. I tried both, and reinstalled it. Same error. I tried uninstalling .net 3.5 and reinstalling it, same error.
Does anyone know how to fix Active X Runtime error 429?

    Man Christian!
1000 Thanks for your tip. I run into same issue on W2K3 with 10.1.3.4 MLR#4 (so far last MR allowed for AIA apps).
I had the orabepl.ear file of the size as was mentioned earlier: 2.530.260 in the bpel\system and other one on the j2ee\ocj4_soa\applications folder.
    Copying did not help.
I had to perform following steps from the <MLR#4>/custom/scripts/post.bat file which takes the file from the bpel\system,
ADDS some another .jars in it and ONLY THEN move it to the j2ee\...\applications folder:
    copy %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\j2ee\orabpel.ear %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\services\lib\orabpel.ear
    copy %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\j2ee\ejb\oc4j_ejb_services.jar %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\services\lib\ejb_services.jar
    copy %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\j2ee\ejb\ejb_ob_engine_oc4j.jar %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\services\lib\ejb_ob_engine.jar
    cd %ORACLE_HOME%\bpel\system\services\lib
    %ORACLE_HOME%\jdk\bin\jar -uvf orabpel.ear ejb_services.jar ejb_ob_engine.jar
After doing manually these steps the orabpel.ear in j2ee\...\applications has got the size: 2.798.840 which was bigger as right after patch application.
Then I deleted the orabpel folder from the j2ee\...\aplication-deployments
started the j2ee containe (it was named: oc4_soa ) and the BPEL Console started live well as before in 10.1.3.3
As I did verify from other files The rest of steps from the post.bat file seems did well, only this part was not executed.
    With Best Regards,
    Alexey

  • SBO2004A: Runtime Error 429 ActiveX Component can't Create Object

    Hello,
We have an Addon developed with VB6 that run without problems with SBO 6.5.
We have upgraded to SBO2004A and I have referenced in the source code to the 2004 UI and DI. I debug mode (from IDE) we don't have problems, but when I try to execute the addon from a client, I get this error message:
    <b>Runtime Error 429 ActiveX Component can't Create Object</b>
    Thanks in advance

I'm using Installshield 10.5 to generate the setup file. It's much more easy and not requiered to install Framework 1.1 in each PC client before to install the Addon.
You have to create and msi project, and write the Installscript to retrieve the install directory from parameter string passed by SAP.
After install you must execute the AddOnInstallAPI.EndInstall to notify SAP:
    #include "ifx.h"
    prototype  LONG AddOnInstallAPI.EndInstall();
    prototype  LONG AddOnInstallAPI.RestartNeeded();
    // OnFirstUIBefore
// First Install UI Sequence - Before Move Data
// The OnFirstUIBefore event is called by OnShowUI when the setup is
// running in first install mode. By default this event displays UI allowing
// the end user to specify installation parameters.
// Note: This event will not be called automatically in a
    // program...endprogram style setup.

  • Vbscript runtime error 429 activex component can't create object

hi i am writing a VB Script where it runs a batch files
but when the batch file is called from the script its giving error as
runtime error 429 activex component can't create object
    my script is as follows
    strcmd = "utility.bat"
    Set wshSystemEnv = wshshell.Environment("USER")
    wshshell.Run strcmd
can some one help me with this ?
    Thank you

Sorry, your script makes no sense. You never create the object wshshell
and you never use the object wshSystemEnv. Start the code with
    set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("Wscript.Shell")

  • Runtime Error '429': ActiveX component can't create object

    Hi,
I am using below code in vb6 application but this is throwing an "Runtime Error '429': ActiveX component can't create object" error.
    CreateObject("OracleInProcServer.XoraSession")
is that due to any dll or reference error ?
I have an Oracle client installed on my PC
    please share your solution
    Thanks in advance

Are either of those 64 bit? If so, your problem is likely related to that.
A 64 bit Oracle client doesn't support OO4O at all, so this code will never work with that client. You need to use a 32 bit one.
If you are using a 32 bit client but on a 64 bit OS, I've found the 11.2.03 installer doesn't properly register the files. Manually registering OraOleDB11.dll may fix it, though we had to do some other registry stuff and it got very ugly. Backing up to a slightly older client should also fix the problem.

    Hello there, tulchan.
The following Knowledge Base article addresses the very issue you're describing:
iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows: Unable to install or open
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376
    Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
    Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
    Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
    Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

  • ActiveX - Runtime Error 429

Please, someone tell me what I'm doing wrong!!!
I just upgraded to BI Publisher Desktop version 10.1.3.3.3 and last month we upgraded APEX to 3.1. I'm using APEX to generate my Report Queries. I open MS Word, I load my XML Sample Data, I use the wizard to create a table with the fields I want to display, and the report runs fine (although I need to format the report). When I select a field name, then right-click and select BI Publisher --> Properties... I get a Microsoft Visual Basic Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object error, and then a 'Starting .Net runtime progress bar appears. Help!
    Thank you!

I got the same message when installed BI Publisher Desktop 10.1.3.3.3. When i try to login from Word 2003 to Publisher server it gave me same "429" message.
I resolved that by going to Publisher Desktop installation folder:
    "C:\Program Files\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\DotNetInstallFiles" and in there i started file :
    setup.exe
After that it showed menu to repair or remove add-in in Word. After repair i can log on to Publisher from Word.
I hope this will help you.

  • Rode podcaster and runtime error.

hello, i hope someone can help me with this problem. i purchased adobe auditon 3.0 because i do podcasting and i needed a program that would support 2 usb microphones. well i have no problem getting one of my microphones to record (an MXL usb .006) but when i plug in my rode podcaster and try to use it (and this is with the MXL unplugged, so i havent even tried to use multiple usb mics yet) it gives me a error that reads "microsoft visual C++ runtime library" as the header, then it reads "runtime error! program:...rogram files (x86)\adobe\adobe audition3.0\audition.exe
this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. please contact the application 's support team for more information."
the laptop is running windows vista, the 64 bit version.
so can anyone give me an idea what to do next?

    >and i have no clue what you mean when you say use the wdm usb driver rather then the asio ones, so any advice there would be appreciated.
Well, this is the simplest explanation I can manage that explains the important principles:
WDM drivers are the ones that Microsoft intend to work with the OS (Windows Driver Model), and they allow for the use of multiple spund devices - wherever and however they are attached. But, these drivers have inevitably got a higher latency (delay introduced in processing signals), because they sit nearer to the top of the processing heirarchy in the OS. ASIO gets around the latency problem by short-cutting most of the OS, and allows software using its engine to talk more or less directly to your sound device - singular. To use any more than a singular device would require the arbitration that the OS would have to provide, thus destroying the point of doing this in the first place.
What ASIO4ALL does is to take the ASIO-based stream from Audition, or any other software using the same engine, and convert that back to a WDM-based internal protocol. It is bi-directional, so signals coming in (like from your USB mics) can be converted from their WDM format into ASIO for Audition, as well. As a consequence, ASIO4ALL can redirect a multi-channel stream to different devices, and can also take multiple input streams from them as well, combining them into a concurrent ASIO stream. There are several penalties to be paid though - the increased latency is one, and also you could
potentially run into sync problems, but not with the application you have in mind, I think.
There is one important bit in the ASIO4ALL FAQ that you should note, but a comment on it is needed:
    >After some initial troubles with earlier revisions, the driver now appears to work just fine with numerous USB devices. one thing to not do, I mean: not ever! is to check the DMA box with USB devices. If you do not need all the additional software gizmos like EAX, EQ, Fake3D-Whatever... it is recommended that you _not_ install the drivers shipped with your USB audio interface. Windows has a built-in generic USB audio driver that works with most devices. Thus, if you want to have honest, no-nonsense, low-latency audio playback/recording with your USB audio interface - by all means: stick with the Windows driver! This is especially true for consumer grade stuff, where you can be assured that the drivers shipped with it are most likely 'consumer grade' as well.
One of the problems with USB mics is that you may well need to install at least the control applet for it, otherwise it
may not be usable sensibly at all. But, USB mics vary - so what you would need to do in any given situation, I can't comment on. In the past though, it's been pretty apparent that without the control applet, at least some of them have no sensible gain control or routing. But I would emphasise that this is very much a YMMV situation.
    >i freely admit i need to do more research and reading on the software, but i have been told by people using multiple usb mics that this is what they used, or at least earlier versions of adobe audition.
That would be true. The earlier version referred to would probably be 1.5, which was the last version to use the built-in WDM system for recording, although all earlier versions could do this too, at least in principle. I believe, though, that there were other difficulties recording from USB sources with earlier versions, so all bets are off unless you've actually tried what you want to do with a specific hardware/software combination and actually
    know it works.

  • Just tried to install update to iTunes and keep getting error statements. The errors statements read: "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 1114) and Runtime error - Program: C\Program files (x86)\iTunes\iTun

I just tried to install the iTunes update 11.4.1 and keep getting error messages.  I have never had this issue before over many years of using iTunes and getting updates to the software.  I have removed the iTunes from my computer and reinstalled it but keep getting the errors.  Here are the error statements: "Runtime error: Program: C:\Program Files(x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe; R6034; An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team.  iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 1114)

  • SAP Query and runtime error CREATE_OBJECT_CLASS_NOT_FOUND

    Dear ABAP gurous,
I have created a query connected to an infoset. It worked fine. When I made a minor change to the infoset (checked, saved and generated afterwards) I couldn't run the query. Now, the problem is, when I run the query, the ABAP runtime error occurs:
    Runtime Errors         CREATE_OBJECT_CLASS_NOT_FOUND
    Except.                CX_SY_CREATE_OBJECT_ERROR
Can somebody tell me what causes the problem? Did I miss to do something after introducing this minor change to the infoset?
Thank you in advance and regards
    Rafal Kosinski

In the infoset I had tables join (FEBKO+T001) and additional field group. For the field group I defined a field for which a code was created (a function module call). It worked for this setup.
Then, I just made a change in the code: in the function module call, I changed
sy-datum to febko-azdat for parameter DATE of the function module.

  • Coming up with the error - "Runtime error '429': ActiveX Component Can't cr

    Hi,
While trying to edit the XML tag in a .rtf file (Microsoft Word 2010), coming up with the error - "Run time error '429': ActiveX Component Can't create object.
Any help in resolving this is greatly appreciated.
    Rgds,
    Kiran Panditi

Remove and reinstall dotnetfiles by running setup.exe located at the following path:
    32 Bit Win 7
    C:\Program Files\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\DotNetInstallFiles
    64 Bit Win 7
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\DotNetInstallFiles
FYI, BI Publisher Template Builder 10.1.3.4 does require Administrator rights to run.
    Cheers,
    ND
