Opens but encounters a problem and closes

initially had a problem with after reinstalling iTunes that ITunes Library.itl could not be read because of newer version. However, after following matt00's instructions to re-create the library and playlists, it did not work. I then followed instructions http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376?viewlocale=enUS emailed to me from the Apple Store in Norwich (UK) to uninstall the following in order...
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
and then reinstall iTunes ...Now iTunes opens without access to my library and attempting to open iTunes store only 'encounters a problem' and closes after I send Windows the requested report. How do I get iTunes to work properly?

If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT) as you start iTunes, then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turing off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.
Assuming we're talking of the same issue (there are several) it seems to be a problem with this build of iTunes affecting a small number of users. It is as yet unclear exactly why, or how to fix completely.

What OS version? What's the exact error? Exactly when does the error occur? What previous versions? What is on the screen when the error displays? Does Photoshop get fully open?
Try opening Photoshop holding down Shift key immediately to turn off plug-ins. Lots of good suggestions here: Photoshop: Basic Troubleshooting steps to fix most issues

The books are all in my library but when I try to open them the app glitches and closes out.

I have an iPod 4g and I had deleted the ibooks app but downloaded it again. The books are all in my library but when I try to open them the app glitches and closes out. Before the app update (ios 7) and after the update it hadn't worked (for the past week).

I think I have found an answer on another page! If anyone else wants to know just do this:
Hold down the home and sleep button (if the turn off button comes up just ignore it) and when you see the apple logo release the buttons and let it wake up!
It worked for me and seem to work for a lot of people. Hope this helps!!

These apps are probably meant for the iPhone/iPod touch. Some apps are universal, and other have dedicated iPad versions.

Go to: Apple > Force Quit
and select Mail > Force Ouit.

Hi there, go in to the utilites of you applications folder and find "Mail" then go stop processes.
If you cannot find Mail then open mail up and follow the process as above.

PSE 11 encounters an unexpected problem and closes every time I click create slideshow

I just downloaded PSE 11 and I am experiencing the same problem I had with PSE 9. Every Time I try to open create slideshow the program "encounters an unexpected problem and must close".
The only other "create" I have tried is photocollage and it opened without problem. Any chance this could be a conflict with my Kaspersky security software or some other program? My first version
was 4.0 and the create slideshow worked fine when first installed, then after I installed a workaround from the forum after encountering a problem. But I could never get create slideshow to open in
PSE9 and now again in 11.
