Operation returned exit status 1

Hi,
Can someone shed some light on this error code status?
What does this mean ==> Error occured processing PDF context: invoke the processing rules The following error occured in step 1: Operation returned exit status 1 ?
Nothing has changed and all of a sudden we're getting this error.  We're using *** 2.7 running on Windows 2008 server and Adobe Output Designer 5.7 client.
Checked all services (WWW) and is running also checked IIS configuration and security and appears to be all intact.
Thanks

As the user attempting to link the program, can you:
ls -l /u01/app/oracle/product/FR_1012/lib/libclntsh.so
and are the permissions correct? Sometime in the later releases, you need to run $ORACLE_HOME/install/change_perm.sh so everyone on the box can read the Oracle binaries and libraries. You need to run this as the user who installed the Oracle software.

  • Exit status running java classpath in a unix shell script

    I'm new to putting java into unix scripts. I have a java classpath running inside of a unix shell script. During my testing it will error with java.io.FileNotFoundException error, which I know why that is, but when I set in my unix shell script this to see the right exit status of success/fail, it always shows a 0 for success when that isn't really the case. Below is the two lines I have set to capture the exit status and just display that exit status for now.
    notifycode=$?
    echo $notifycode
    I have these 2 lines above on a line right below my java command in my unix shell script. How can I get my unix shell script to show the right exit status if the java classpath command fails? Thanks for any help.

    That's Java code, it says "End this Java application and send return code 1 back to the shell". As for how the shell gets the return code from the application, that's a question about your shell and not about Java programming, no?

    could you
    - test connecting to your database using the exact same settings that you provided to the beehive installer , using a tool like SQLDeveloper or similar ?
    - print out C:\oracle\product\1.5.1.0.0\beehive_1\beehive\logs\beectl\2009.09.10\beectl_modify_deployment_structure_13_49_19+0700.txt

    Any help would be appreciatedSCM security can be tricky to get right the first time you use it. Have you performed these operations in the global zone?:
    - run es-config to add your SunMC userID to the scm-container ACL?
    - made sure the Project Managment and Pool Management entries are in /etc/security/prof_attr and exec_attr files?
    - added your SunMC userID to the Zone/Pool/Project entries in /etc/user_attr (or used the 'usermod' command to add the entries for you)?
    If any of those steps were missed then SunMC (or Solaris) may not believe you have permisson to make changes to zones/pools etc. There are a couple of SCM docs listed in with the SunMC doc set:

  • How to get exit status of multiple threads

    Hello Everyone,
    Please let me know how to solve the below problem.
    I have one main thread. It creates 10 threads and joins them. Now i am interested in the exit status of each of the individual thread. Please let me know how to get the exit status of each thread.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vasu

    From the man page for thr_join:
    int thr_join(thread_t thread, thread_t departed,   void   *status);
    If a thr_join() call returns successfully with a non-null
    status argument, the value passed to thr_exit(3THR) by the
    terminating thread will be placed in the location referenced
    by status.
    To find the man page for any of the thr_xxx functions, run the command
    man thr_xxx

  • "Error: 0x800705B4. This operation returned because the timeout period expired"

    Hello,
    I deployed security updates Mid October 201, however some clients failed to install with the error "0x800705B4 this operation returned because the timeout period expired when installing updates".
    Although, i saw an article but this did not address the issue. It was advised  i temporarily disable any third party antivirus software and firewall.
    Unfortunately, we use SEP antivirus and any attempt to disable it would yanck the clients off the network. Windows Firewall is also disabled on these clients.
    Can anyone help urgently?

    Hi,
    What's the status in Software Center about the updates?
    Have you checked SCCM updates logs on the clients?
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh427342.aspx#BKMK_SU_NAPLog
    Please also check the boundary groups associated with DPs have been configured correctly.

  • Deployment incomplete exit status 128

    I am trying to deploy a very small web application directly from JDev 9.0.2 to Oracle9i Applicatioin Server Developer Preview. I am getting the following error:
    Exit status of Oracle9iAS admin tool (-deploy): 128
    #### Deployment incomplete. #### Jul 24, 2002 12:09:22 PM
    This is not much to go on. Where can I get more information?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    We have received scattered reports of exit status 128 related to the OC4J admin.jar utility. However, neither the OC4J admin.jar code nor the JVM exits with an explicit 128 code. Therefore, the 128 exit code is most likely coming from the Windows operating system. Here is a Microsoft article about the 128 exit status:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q184802&
    This article identifies two possible causes for exit status 128. Both causes are unlikely, because we suspect that one should see an exit 128 from other proceses besides the admin.jar invocation.

    Hello Satadal,
    The error is due to Oracle the reasons could be:
    1. Number of open connection that Oracle Net can process simultaneously
    2. Number of memory buffers which can be used simultaneously
    3.Number of processes a particular database instance is allowed
    In case of 1 and 2 its a harware bottle neck
    In case of the 3rd point the number of process that the OraTNSlistener can listen to can be increased in the Initsid.ora file (but since this is for SAP i would suggest init<DBSID>.ora file.
    But either ways check the logs files sqlnet.log or listener.log
    for details of the error.
    In most cases waiting for the open connections to close and then trying BRCONNECT should do it.

  • Mkarchroot exit status

    The latest version of the mkarchroot script completes without error but exits with a status of 1 when I use it. Previously it exited cleanly with status zero.
    Try this:
    #!/bin/bash
    mkarchroot foo base
    echo "mkarchroot exit status: $?"
    Executing the above script will build a chroot called `foo` and display its exit status. With the latest version I get a non-zero exit status (1). Downgrade to devtools-20130408-1 and try again - the exit status will be zero. Returning a non-zero exit code is a problem for scripts that check the exit code.
    Is this a problem with mkarchroot ?

  • How to supress SLQ loader exit status 2

    Hi All,
    I am loading a file through sql loader and control file has the condition as below.
    INTO TABLE XXX
    WHEN (256:256) != 'Y' and (1:2)=X'C4C4'
    Now the problem is that if a value 'Y' comes in the position specified, the sqlloader exit status becomes 2. Can anyone please tell me how to get the exit status 0.
    when I added 1 more condition as below
    INTO TABLE YYY
    WHEN (256:256) = 'Y' and (1:2)=X'C4C4'
    It came out with exit status of 0.

  • Failover Cluster Manager : Add node wizard Error " This operation returned because the timeout period expired" Windows Server 2012

    Hi Everybody,
    I have two node cluster and trying to add the third node (which is a Virtual Machine), all nodes are in different subnet and can communication with each other. While adding the third node it gives the error at the end of wizard "  This operation
    returned because the timeout period expired ". My domain controller is 2008 Enterprise Server and nodes are all running Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition. Any idea what is causing the issue.
    thanks

    Hi,
    Before you add a server (node) to a failover cluster, we strongly recommend that you run the Validate a Configuration Wizard for the existing cluster nodes and the new node
    or nodes. The Validate a Configuration Wizard helps you confirm the configuration in a variety of important ways. For example, it validates that the server to be added is connected correctly to the networks and storage and that it contains the same software
    updates. Please post the error or warning report.
    Please try to install the Recommended hotfixes and updates for Windows Server 2012-based failover clusters:

  • [SOLVED] mongodb fails to start with exit status 4

    Today I tried starting mongodb via systemctl and it would fail with exit status 4.  The issue turned out to be related to an upgrade from mongodb 2.6 to 3.0.  It took me a bit of digging and trial and error to get it running again, so I thought I should share the steps in case anyone else runs into this
    1. Downgrade to 2.6 (using the latest 2.6.x you hopefully still have in the cache)
    $ pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/mongodb-2.6.8-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
    $ systemctl start mongodb
    2. Run authSchemaUpgrade
    $ mongo
    > db.adminCommand({authSchemaUpgrade: 1});
    3. Upgrade mongdb
    $ pacman -S mongodb
    Hope this is helpful to someone.

  • OLE DB Destination" failed validation and returned validation status "VS_ISBROKEN.

    Hi
    I have a package which has 10 sequence containers. Have 10 Flat File Source files and all is working perfect on BI Debug mode. When I deploy this package to server I am getting the following error.
    I have changed the property Retain the same connection = True but same problem. I have changed the data flow task to Load Project instead of Load Into Project but in error message it is still showing the old name. I have tried to remove the whole step i.e.
    Removed Load into Project Data flow with sequence container but I am getting the same error message.
    I am not able to understand the reason. Any Idea why am I getting the same error message even I do not have the Data Flow named Load Into Package. It is in SSIS 2008 and being deployed on SQL 2012 server.

    Hi MustafaH,
    According to the error message(hightlight above), it seems it's a mapping issue that Naarasimha point out in the post above. Please check this carefully.
    An OLE DB destination includes mappings between input columns and columns in the destination data source. You do not have to map input columns to all destination columns, but depending on the properties of the destination columns, errors can occur if
    no input columns are mapped to the destination columns.

    In your post, you said that it is in SSIS 2008 and being deployed on SQL 2012 server. Do you mean that you create the package deployment utility by using SSIS 2008, and then implement SSIS deployment in SSIS 2012 environment? If so, you need to
    convert the project to package deployment model to generate Manifest file in SSIS 2012. Please see:
    Use the SQL Server 2008 version of Business Intelligence Development Studio to develop and maintain packages that are based on SQL Server 2008 Integration Services (SSIS)
