Option-double-clicking for docs has stopped working after iOS 4.0.1?
Hi,
I've just installed the XCode 3.2.3 and iOS 4.0.1 SDKs and now the auto-linking to the documentation has broken. It works about 50% of the time, and quite randomly as to what it can or can't find.
The documentation is up to date, as I can always find the method/type name manually. Is there a way to force a rebuild of this linkage? (I've tried rebuild code sense index)
Thanks
Steve
It works about 50% of the time, and quite randomly as to what it can or can't find.
Looks to me like it never finds methods declared in protocols, e.g. - (void)applicationDidFinishLaunching: ...
Also, it looks like there's problems with ambiguous method names, e.g. [[NSData alloc] initWithContentsOfFile: ... which will take you to NSArray's documentation.
No, I have no idea on how to fix this.

Photoshop CS4 "licensing for product has stopped working" after restoring backup to new laptop
I purchased a new macbook pro running os x 10.9.3 and restored from a Time Capsule backup from my older laptop also running the same OS version. (Migration assistant was not working and this was Apple's recommendation). Now Photoshop CS 4 gives the following error "150:30 licensing for this product has stopped working". I've tried the Adobe recommended steps i found on their site short or reinstalling.
So my question is "what's the phone number for adobe support?"800-833-6687 Monday—Friday, 5am—7pm PT
I have had this same problem before. The problem is that restoring from backup or migrating Photoshop CS4 breaks the licensing.
You normally get a 150:30 error.
Two ways to fix this:
10.7 and above: Run the python script in Terminal to repair this, or reinstall CS4 from your disks.
If you need help on this let me know. -
Double-clicking to open files stops working after opening lots of files.
When I double-click a file it will open the file in CS6 version 13.0.1, but then after a while double-clicking will no longer open jpeg or raw files. I can open the same files by going to File > Open in the Menu Bar.
When I am simply opening downloaded files from my camera, I can open 200-300 by double-clicking with no problems. However, at times when I am working on an image, it is not long before I can't open a file by double-clicking. It will open a blank Photoshop window, but without any Toolbar or Menu Bars.
This happens on a regular basis. Sometimes, also, Photoshop is slow to Quit, for no apparent reason.
Is anyone aware of this problem?Still having this problem.
If I open a jpeg and just change the name, then Save As to a folder, I can then open another jpeg by double-clicking.
However, whenever I open a jpeg and make changes to the image in Photoshop, then Save As to a folder, I can then no longer open a jpeg by double-clicking. Photoshop will open, but the jpeg will not open.
Since this only happens after making changes to a jpeg in Photoshop, it seems to me the problem is with something in Photoshop, and has nothing to do with my OS. -
Mic has stopped working after iOS 7 upgrade ?
After the upgrade to iOS7 the microphone on my ipad has mysteriously stopped working. Any fixes?
I had the same problem and i found the solution here, its ridiculous but it solves it
iOS 7 now requires applications to specifically request access to the microphone, and a new “Microphone” section under the Privacy controls allow users to view a list of those apps that have requested access and toggle the access on and off for each app, similar to how other the other privacy options work. -
First I get a message that says: non responsive script on page with the options to continue or stop script. Then I notice at the top of the window Mozilla Firefox(non responsive). Then when I click the "X" to exit I get the box from Microsoft Windows which says:" Plugin Container for Firefox has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Firefox crashes with error message: "Plugin Container for Firefox has stopped working"
When I open Firefox it seems to be working fine for one minute, then everything freezes and I receive the following error message:
"Plugin Container for Firefox has stopped working
--> Check online for a solution and close the program
--> Close the Program"
Neither option restores Firefox and I'm left with a frozen (white blurry Not Responding) screen. When I click on the X button, then I get the regular "Firefox is not responding" message and the whole program just shuts down.
Should I disable all plugins and / or this plugin container? How can I do that, if Firefox keeps crashing?
Basically, how can I fix this? Thanks a lot!I found the issue was with the Nik Filters I was using. The filters were messing with Photoshop's initializing. I uninstalled and reinstalled the filters and now Photoshop works like a charm.
It appears this forum is dead?!
Thankfully, I was able to troubleshoot on my own and figured out the problem... -
How do I suppress "plugin container for firefox has stopped working" ?
I am doing some Flash programming and using Firefox to debug. Every time I end the debug session from Flash Builder I get the error "Plugin container for firefox has stopped working". Is there a way to suppress this false error message? There is not a problem with the container or any plugins, simply that Firefox thinks the container has crashed because it is being closed by the IDE. I have already had to change several options to suppress false error alerts, but just seem to get new ones like this.
Firefox uses the plugin-container process to run plugin out of the current Firefox process (Out-Of-Process-Plugins) and you may not see the plugin mentioned. Flash uses protected mode by default and that causes two plugin-container processes to be active.
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
*check for updates for your graphics drive drivers<br>https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
*disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Fn on screen display message generator for ThinkPad has stopped working
Hi,
I did a clean install of Windows Vista Enterprise edition and have installed all the drivers for my T400.
What I found was that the Fn on screen display message generator was working fine right before I installed the driver for the Intel GM4500 video controller.
Once I installed this video driver, I get a popup window that says On screen display message generator for Thinkpad has stopped working
The problem details are as follows:

I know that some of you have experienced this problem too but so far there hasn't been a solution that's worked.
I'm reluctant to install Vista SP1 or SP2 as that may caus other unrelated problems.
Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.Dear All
Error message on start "on screen display message generator for thinkpad has stopped working"
Event Log "Faulting application TPOSDSVC.exe"
OS Vista Business 32
I have experienced this on a customer's ThinkPad R61e Machine Type 7650-DNG and found that the following solves the problem.
Firstly run Thinkvantage System Update and get everything up to date from Critical, Recommended and Optional Updates tabs.
Next Run Windows Update and view the available updates select all High Priority Microsoft updates and any optional ones that you require and (and this is where it differs from normal Lenovo advice) select the Conexant Audio driver aswell.
Current Vista version available on Windows Update is 4.98 (Date 23 Jun 2009)
Current Vista version available on Thinkvantage System Update is 4.18 (Date 2 Oct 2007)
NB Re-installing 4.18 may have solved the problem also, but I have not tried that and do not plan to.
I hope this helps.

On screen display message generator for ThinkPad has stopped working
Hello,
This is a fresh install of Vista-32 on a lenovo x300.
Upon boot (or launching TPOSDSVC.exe) I receive the error message in the subject line.
There is an entry in the Application log, here is the jist of it:
Faulting application TPOSDSVC.exe, version 1.1.3.0 faulting module MMDevApi.dll_unloaded
I've uninstalled the On Screen Display application a few times - no luck
-I uninstalled it from add/remove programs then reinstalled it via the Lenovo System Update utility.
I've checked my video drivers - up to date according to lenovo
The problem is presitent under new profiles.
I did some digging online and found a possible fix of altering some reg keys
http://forums.lenovo.com/lnv/board/message?board.id=T_Series_Thinkpads&message.id=28789&query.id=223...
The keys mentioned in that post were non- existent in this computers registry.... ?
I added them .... no dice
thanks in advance

Plugin Container for Firefox has stopped working ~ DivX Web Player plugin crashed
Hi Everyone,
Probably I should begin by saying anything computer-related is like walking blindfold in a pitch dark room. Seriously "tech-impaired" here (i'd go to someone who knows but tight budgets are a pain too... so if anyone here could help fix this I'd be forever thankful.
The first part of the title line is what appears to me in a little message window. YouTube and Hulu work OK, but there's this site "Icefilms (dot) info" -the one that I mostly use- that's the one with the problem.
It was all working just fine until last Monday night (June 20/2011) and it's not just with Firefox that I have this problem, cause when i tried to use Google Chrome it was the same thing, which makes me think it's not an Internet browser problem, I tried changing Firefox (5) to an older version, but instead of just the video widow, the whole thing crashes.Google Earth Plugin

I have Windows Vista with Firefox. When on-line for a period of time Firefox crashes and tells me plugin container for Firefox has stopped working.

Over the last few day the interent has been crashing with the following response - "plugin container for firefox has stopped working." Why and how can I fix this issue?
Same problem here. Firefox keeps freezing, sometimes for 5 minutes, then either starts working again really slowly or I get the plug-in error crash. This last time I copied what windows said about the error. This is the info:

Every 5 minutes or so Firefox will freeze and if I'm on a website that uses the flash player the ads and what not will stop and an error thing replaces them and says Adobe Flash Player has crashed. Then a window pops up and says "The Plug-In container for Firefox has stopped working..." or something like that. Then my laptop will work slower until Firefox crashes. Any solutions ?
