ORA-00060 hrjptkfl.ldt, hrzatkfl.ldt workers failed while uploading data

Hi,
I had a strange error while applying the NLS patch. I had two workers failed with ORA-00060 deadlock detected while waiting for a resource. for the two files.
on the table HR_NAVIGATION_UNITS.
The good thing is the individual requests which these two workers executing completed successfully.
After searching a lot i could not find any thing relevant to it and just restarted the failed worker using adctrl. And the patch completed that phase. Wonder why thi happened.
Any way this is not a question, any ideas are appreciated.

Sometimes when doing the installation, the same error is reported in the installation log files, but as long as the installation complete successfully, then you can simply ignore those errors.

On SID generation data load failed while loading data from Source DSO to Target DSO.
Following are the error which is occuuring--

So, i'm not getting WHY in one DSO i.e Source it got successful but in another DSO i.e. Target its got failed??
While analyzing all i check that SIDs Generation upon Activation is ckecked in source DSO but not in Target DSO..so it is reason its got failed??

Hi,
I hope your data flow has been designed in such a way where the 1st DSO as a staging Device and all transformation rules and routine are maintained in between 1st to 2nd dso and sid generation upon activation maintained in 2nd DSO. By doing so you will be getting your data 1st DSO same as your source system data since you are not doing any transformation rules and routine etc.. which helps to avoid data load failure.
Please analyze the following
Have you loaded masterdata before transaction data ... if no please do it first
go to the property of first dso and check whether there maintained sid generation up on activation (it may not be maintained I guess)
Goto the property of 2nd Dso and check whether there maintained sid generation up on activation (It may be maintained I hope)
this may be the reason.
Also check whether there is any special char involvement in your transaction data (even lower case letter)

Proc_getObject with nolock causes "read operation on a large object failed while sending data to the client"

SharePoint 2013 code for the SharePoint Config database stored procedure dbo.proc_getObject has been changed from SharePoint 2010 with the difference of select with nolock.
I am seeing numerous Error 7886, Severity-20 errors nightly:
"A read operation on a large object failed while sending data to the client. A common cause for this is if the application is running in READ UNCOMMITTED isolation level. This connection will be terminated."
Here I have commented out "with (nolock)" to 'fix' the error and to align the store proc with SharePoint 2010 code :

How is this stored procedure called and for what use?
Why did Microsoft make this change to SharePoint 2013 - some performance gain through dirty reads at the cost of stability? Or what could be a reason for this to happen that can be fixed?

GetObject retrieves any farm object that is selected (by ID). Changing this is obviously not supported, and NoLock was used to (help) prevent locks when performing a select query.
I've never seen this issue, and would guess it is unique to your environment given this is such a core piece of the SharePoint infrastructure.

I am getting the following error messages while loading XML file to Oracle 9i table.

The program issued a command but the command length is incorrect.

ORA-06512: at line 2I have looked at that error code as you mentioned, but the second line here doesn't really help much.
Hoek, i took your advice and tried to replace FILEOPEN with OPEn but got the same error.
Just to clarify as well, I am not using UNC or relative file paths as I know that these can cause problems.

This is most likely a data issue, so I'd suggest you log a SR.

RMAN script failed while creating Data Guard 11g

I am creating Physical Standby (11g) using RMAN (ACTIVE) on windows using the doc : Step by Step Guide on Creating Physical Standby Using RMAN DUPLICATE...FROM ACTIVE DATABASE [ID 1075908.1]
The folder structure on Primary DB and on Physical Standby is totally different.
while executing RMAN script i got errors for lot of locations and i specified the proper location in RMAN script itself (ex set diagnostic_dest = 'c:\app\' , set db_recovery_file_dest='C:\app\flash_recovery_area')
Location of control files on Primary DB:
D:\oradata\MESSTG\CONTROL01.CTL
D:\oradata\flash_recovery\messtg\MESSTG\CONTROL02.CTL
Location of control files (planned) on Physical Standby DB:
C:\app\oradata\MESSTDBY\CONTROL01.CTL
C:\app\flash_recovery_area\MESSTDBY\CONTROL02.CTL
How to specify control file location of Physical standby in set control_files?
Also i have 2 control files on Primary DB so do i need to specify both the control files , if so how?

Failed to upload data to S_ALR_87013326 report

I've added 3 new value fields at KEA6 and assigned it to planning layout and mapped to our operating concern. Then maintained at KEI2 for assigned source (cost elements) and value fields. When I upload from KE13N and KE1V, there's no amount posted for the 3 new value fields at S_ALR_87013326 report. Is it related with pricing procedure?

I've maintained at KE4I as well. Still failed to read the amount from new value fields. If I change amount for the 3 new fields only and upload again using KE13N, no data changed. Checked line item at KE25, no amount for the new fields. As if KE13N failed to read the value fields at planning layout. I've assigned new value fields at planning layout.

Data services job failes while insert data into SQL server from Linux

SAP data services (data quality) server is running on LInux server and Windows. Data services jobs which uses the ODBC driver to connect to SQL server is failing after selecting few thousand records with following reason as per data services log on Linux server. We can run the same data services job from Windows server, the only difference here is it is using SQL server drivers provided by microsoft. So the possible errors provided below, out of which #1 and #4 may not be the reason of job failure. DBA checked on other errors and confirmed that transaction log size is unlimited and system has space.
Why the same job runs from Windows server and fails from Linux ? It is because the ODBC drivers from windows and Linux works in different way? OR there is conflict in the data services job with ODBC driver.

Exchange rate fields get failed when uploading data

Hi,
I have a problem when uploading purchasing data (2LIS_02_SCL) from R/3 to BW. Basically the exchange rate value is right in the PSA but NOT in the cube.
I just wondering what did they do when transfering the exchange rate data from PSA to cube. I have already checked the transfer rules and update rules, but no logic in there. So the logic should be ONLY pass the value, but somehow different value coming up.
Maybe you can have different think about this ?
FYI, I have already transfered global settings and exchange rates from R/3 to the BW. Is there any settings that I missed ?

Do you know how I can avoid aggregation behaviour for a keyfigure ? Because I can't edit aggregation field and I tried to change the exception aggregation field with First Value, No Aggregation and Avarage value but it does not work.

Cost Manager Concurrent req failed due to ORA-00060:

We are using Oracle Applications E-Business suite 11.5.9. OS HP-UX
Cost Manger is an scheduled concurrent program which was error out thrice scince today morning with the following error.
Cause: cmlmcm() failed due to ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource.
I found no dead lock occurred. I don't know why it happend so.
Please help me out on this issue.

Could you suggest me the method to find out the scheduled concurrent request in specific time period. Or How to find out the the scheduled time for a concurrent program.Run the following query:

I did the TKPROF on .trc files but the tkprof file does not show any details as such except similar to :- (don't know if I am missing anything while issuing TKPROF as $ tkprof filename.trc

Yesterday, I did login to applications after multiple attempts and tried submitting a concurrent request of a standard report (after resolving the data block corrupt issue) and got the same ORA-00060 Error.
I have a fresh VISION R12 (12.0.4) installed without any customizations. My installation looks to be quite unstable, takes 2-3 attempts for successful login to apps.
Can you please give any clues on this and how to overcome the problem?

I have run cmclean.sql as per :- Re: R12 Vision install - Unable to submit concurrent request
This is the only change made. No new patches etc. Before running cmclean.sql I believe the instance was working fine.
Now everytime I start the application services, its causing ORA=00060: Deadlock error. There are no issues with just DB services up and running.
And after apps services up, when trying to Login to apps it just hangs, get error as follows:

The OS also hangs (Linux) and I have to exit abnormally everytime which is frustrating.
I am not sure the reason for the same. I have gone through the metalink notes pointed which says to install the health check engine.
Do you have any clues based on above information as to what might be causing this problem.
I have 4 GB RAM installed on my Windows and 2 GB has been allocated to Linux on VMware.
Please let me know if I need to upgrade the memory.
Any pointers would be really helpful.

I got dump as

resource"

Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was not caught
in
procedure "READ_NRIV" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Can u ppl tell me how to get correct this?

Hi Bala,
Same type of dump we got when we trigger the DTP which in process chain to load data from DSO to Info cube. And the load had processed with 225 data package and at 164th data package we got this error and except 164th data package all data package processed successfully
And the request was red. So we had done processed manually by clicking the icon. So all its been green and successfully loaded.
So when you do process manual the particular data package which got failed will be process successfully

How to resolve ORA-00060: deadlock detected in Workflow

Hi there,
I have defined a custom workflow which initiated from Trigger
AFTER UPDATE of status_code ON pa.pa_proj_elements
The WF activities includes:
-Set item attributes
-Find users and add users to adhoc role
-Send Action & FYI notification
-Update status_code using standard API PA_PROGRESS_PUB.UPDATE_PROGRESS, this API will add a new role in pa_percent_completes table.
But the API failed to update the status_code with the following error:
ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource in Package PA_PROGRESS_PUB Procedure UPDATE_PROGRESS...
Please help.

sorry, typo mistake on the standard API will in fact create a row in pa_percent_completes table.
