ORA-00830: cannot set statistics_level to BASIC with auto-tune SGA enabled

Hi Experts
I get this error message when I try to set statictics_level parameter to basic.
Solution says to disable auto-tuning SGA. Fine, but how can I disable it? I cannot fine any system parameter similar to it.

It means you need to remove SGA* parameters from your pfile and start tuning the instance manually with SHARED_POOL_SIZE and DB_CACHE_SIZE and other parameters.

HT201335 Cannot set up Apple TV with latest SW

I have a brand new AppleTV. I have uploaded the most recent SW (6(6646.65)). I have an iPAD with the most recect SW (iOS 7.0.2 (11A501).
I cannot connect my iPad to Apple TV. I have tried everything, including going to the Apple website (ASOLUTELY NO HELP)> This cannot be so difficult. All I want to do is mirror my iPAD to my TV.
When I select my network on my AppleTV, it says connection failed. There is no hope. I am sorry I bout Apple TV..
Please help if you can.

I have created view by joining two tables...And it is like this...

with read only...
Now I executed the following stmt...
Select * from Test_Data where rowid = objid_ where I am passing the objid_ value...But it gave me the above error...can not I run this select stmt using the rowid ?

Cannot set up replacement iPhone with MobileMe

I have a paid MobileMe account (now extended to 6/30/12), and a few weeks ago, had my iPhone 3GS die on me. Got an iPhone 4, and got the 3GS replaced under warranty, and gave it to my wife.
Tried to set up "Find My iPhone" last night on the replacement 3GS, and now I get a message saying that it found my account, but I can't set up a free MobileMe account. (Went to settings/mail/add new account/ put in my MobileMe credentials, etc.)
I can't set up ANY mobileme syncing with this. The message comes back immediately, and I'm unable to set anything.
What's the problem? My old 3GS was still present under "Find My iPhone" yesterday, as well as my iPhone 4 and my iPad. I deleted the 3GS from the web based MobileMe, and the message said as soon as it came back on, would be available again.
Why can't I set this up with my PAID MobileMe account?

I'm not attempting to set up a new "account" as in service. I'm trying to associate the 3GS with an existing account. "add new account" is the mail account on the iPhone - NOT the service for said account (gmail, yahoo, exchange, etc).
I'm adding a "new" account to the iPhone.
"Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendar/ADD ACCOUNT". Won't let me associate it with the 3GS for existing MobileMe account. I go thru the same process for Gmail, which doesn't create a "new account" back at the provider, or a new userid/account.
I'm simply using the terminology on the screens.

Having trouble setting up tascam 428 with i tunes

I installed the current drivers off the tascam web site. i have the garage band preferences set for the tascam input and output. i have the audio/midi set up for the tascam input/output. the computer knows its there when i plug and unplug the tascam. i just cant get it to process sound. i am new to the mac and it seems it must be something simple that im missing. any ideas??

I have been trying out Oracle Workspace Manager to test how versioned tables might work to our advantage. My basic testing process is:
1. Create a table
2. Add some data rows
3. Version enable the table
4. Create a workspace
5. Goto the created workspace
6. Update a row
7. Commit and I get the following error
UPDATE "COMSERV"."A_OWM_TEST" SET DESCRIPTION = 'ABCDEFGHIJzzzz' WHERE ROWID = 'AAAThNAAIAAAgwqAAY'
One error saving changes to table "COMSERV"."A_OWM_TEST":
Row 10: ORA-01446: cannot select ROWID from view with DISTINCT, GROUP BY, etc.
The same update works fine from SQLPlus so my question is Does SQL developer support table versioning or have I done something wrong is setting up my versioned tables?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

check the code on how u create that view...
for e.g.
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW testview
(id, name)
AS
select * from testing;
this also will populate that ORA-01446 error.
just a suggestion cause i also have a similar problem on ORA-01446 and i resolve it by alter the view..

I am getting an error message in SQL Developer 3.0.04.34
Error ORA-01446:cannot select ROWID from view with DISTINCT, GROUP BY, etc.

when I create a view containing "DISTINCT" even though it doesn't have a rowid anywhere in the select.
Is this a bug? The view seems to function well enough but sql developer itself seems to be struggling a bit.
I have found accounts of similarish bugs on this site from about 2007 but relating to slightly different sets of circs, but if I am asking an old and obvious question then apologies in advance.

Well, the question may be old (see at least: ORA-01446 error in SQL Developer 3EA4 but I doubt it's obvious.
The simplest cases of create view ... as for the following selects
select distinct deptno from dept;
select deptno, count(*) employees from emp group by deptno;work fine in all the 2.x, 3.x releases in the object viewer data tab. Of course, running a select which includes a rowid on these views from a worksheet will fail as expected.
In such situations a simple, reproducible test case is always nice but, at a minimum, please provide a listing of the broken code and a description of exactly how/where in SQL Developer the error occurs.

Set-up of RE4100W with X3500 gateway

I just purchased a RE4100W range extender and want to set this up with my x3500 gateway.
I am using a MAC filter in my Gateway, hence I have configured the extender device , the 5ghz and 2 ghz MAC adresses in my gateway. I have set up the extender with auto DHCP and not a fixed IP in my network.
Allthough i can see that the extender is sending the strong signal, somehow it does not connect to my network... it comes with a message that my AP setting have changed , and even asks for a username and password from the gateway? This despite a complete reconfiguration of the gateway...
I am starting to wonder if there is a compatability problem between the 2 devices... Maybe firmware software versions ? etc...
Grateful for some one to advise any next steps I can take...

Try to reset your range extender and setup the unit manually instead. To do this, you may follow the instructions and other workarounds from this link: http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/ukp.aspx?pid=80&vw=1&articleid=25153 . By the way, having a range extender in between the setup defeats the purpose of enabling MAC filter in your gateway.

CMP with auto-increment primary key.Please help

I new with EJB technology so please bear with me.
Env: 2k Server, SQL 2k Server
Sun One(Forte EE) to develop and deploy CMP
I got the servlet to load the data from CMP's business mehods
is fine. Calling the findPrimaryKey is OK too. Even when I try to insert the row into DB is OK. At this time I make key PK is int AND NOT
AUTO INCREMENT everything is OK. In the ejbCreate method
I called setPK, setName ...It's fine.
The problem comes when I try to make the PK(still int) to be auto-increment field.In ejbCreate not call setPK because of in SunOne IDE, under the J2EE RI tab of EJB Module property, the Auto generate SQL I set to false so that I can
modify the SQL statement under SQL Deployment.createRow not taking the PK. I thought that will do it but it doesnot like it at all (I got Exception with transaction rollback)I just want to insert a single row with ID and name that's all.
Then I changed the SQL statment take PK and changed the Auto Generate SQL to True and in ejbCreate the PK as one of the args and called setPK this time with null object. It doesn't like neither.(Exception Cannot set the primary key with null. That is reasonable.)
I thought using EJB fast and clean technique would help developer to develop application with easiness.
So I realy stuck with this, I wonder ejb 2.0 support for auto increment at all because I would like to take advantage of the auto increment feature of the DB without writing the PrimaryKeySequence generator at all.
Am I missing something with this? May be just config thing to tell
that my PK is auto-increment field so that when the ejbCreate called it knows not taking the PK or even not asking to call setPK in ejbCreate.
Any help would appreciated.

Please can I know how to resolve this error.

CAUSE: User specified one or more of { db_cache_size , db_recycle_cache_size, db_keep_cache_size, db_nk_cache_size (where n is one of 2,4,8,16,32) } AND use_indirect_data_buffers is set to TRUE. This is illegal.
