ORA-022887 error during insert operation how to handle properly ...

Hello everyone I got an error during insert operation how to handle it properly ?
SQL statements given below.
INSERT INTO PERSONEL.TRANSLATIONS (TID,SCRIPT_NAME,TAG,TR,EN,LOCAL)
VALUES ((SELECT PERSONEL.SQX_TID.NEXTVAL AS TID FROM DUAL),'TEST_TEST','TEST','TR','EN','LOCAL');
thank you

I could not find an error like ORA-022887. What is the exact error you are getting? Do a cut and past of the error here.
Ok the proper error is ORA-02287: sequence number not allowed here
As already said just remove the select and use the sequence directly in the insert.

    Error Description :
We have more than 100 of records in a csv file which we are processing through a script. At the first execution let
say it generates trigger exception for five records ... when I execute the script second time those five records
are not throwing any exception but may be some other records. But consecutive trigger exception is not happening for any record . If a particular record is throwing exception at first attempt then in the second attempts it's not throwing the trigger exception.

TEMP_AUDIT_SEQ generates number with the increment of +1
Although there seems other sequence populating the AUDIT_LOG table through a different sequence with the increment of +10. So till now there are already 1179 different numbers residing in audit_log.seq_no and yet to be generated by the TEMP_AUDIT_SEQ sequence. I will look into more details.

  • MS05 transaction throws "SQL error: error during INSERT (table: &)"

    Hi Team,
I am a BASIS engineer on MM system. we have a strange problem from customers we see an error on the MS05 screen with "SQL error: error during INSERT (table: &)" and when the support team runs MS01 transaciton this error gets resolved.
What I would like to know is what could be the likely cause of this error and how we can prevent it.
When I check the SM21 logs i noticed one log with "Transaction cancellation 61 204 ( PLAF )"
and under additional document section is the log I see the below information
Usually, the reason for this error is that an entry already exists
    with the same key.
This problem can occur if the client was copied with the movement data
without adjusting the number range intervals.
Please check if the number ranges for this table have been set
correctly and, if necessary, correct the number range interval.
I am from BASIS and I have no clue in how the MM transactions are linked can any MM gurus help in identifying the root cause for this problem.
any help on this is highly appreciated
    thanks
    Vijay

    Hi
Are MS05 & MS01 you're referring is a T-code?. if so, then they are associated with planning and a PP consultant can give a more clear picture on it. Try posting this to a PP forum.
Based on the error log, i guess this may arise because of the number range problem, when the document is getting saved and record is being tried to inserted into a table.
    Thanks

  • Oracle Java proc ORA-04045: errors during recompilation/revalidation

    hi,
I have Oracle Java stored proc called MERGE_ENTITY_AND_EVENT invoked by a trigger. It was working fine for a couple of weeks. Today it throws this generic exception. I'm not sure what changed.
    Caused by: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-04045: errors during recompilation/revalidation of TLMDEV./3ba8073b_Log4JLogger
    ORA-06512: at "MERGE_ENTITY_AND_EVENT", line 1
    ORA-06512: at "QUOTE_TRIGGER", line 49
    1. What is the root cause of this exception ?
    2. Whats the solution ?
If you dont know 1 or 2, how would you go about debugging this problem ?
    Thanks in advance.

The most likely cause is that something has caused the class TLMDEV./3ba8073b_Log4JLogger to become invalid and implicit invalidation does not succeed in making it valid. In general a class must be valid in order to be run and an attempt to run an invalid class (such as because your trigger calls it) will cause an attempt to validate it and if that attempt fails an ORA-04045 can be the result. Validation of a class amounts to iterating over the set of names referenced by the class and looking for a valid class by that name, perhaps recursively attempting to validate if an invalid class by that name is found. So validation of a class may amount to an attempt to validate several classes at once. If any of them fail to be validatable, which occurs if there is no class for a given referenced name then most if not all of the classes in the set being validated and certainly the top level one will fail to validate. So if things are working correctly, the ultimate reason for the ORA-04045 will prove to be that some name referenced by TLMDEV./3ba8073b_Log4JLogger or recursived by something it references will be a name for which there is no class in the database (or more precisely in the search path used which is typically the current schema followed by PUBLIC, but could be different if some of the classes involved have had explicit resolver specifications given for them). The thing to do to try to start determining what class is missing is to do the query
    select owner||'.'||name||' : '||text from all_errors where type like 'JAVA%';
The first thing to look at are lines for TLMDEV./3ba8073b_Log4JLogger. These will probably show text which contains either ORA-29534 identifying a referenced class that exists but could not be recursively valid, or ORA-29521 identifying names for which there is no class. The latter are the ultimately interesting ones since the former will end up being recursively caused by them. So look at the ORA-29521s and then try to determine either why the class is missing and how to restore it or which it is now referenced when it wasn't before (which would happen if some class was changed to reference it or something that references it, recursively).

  • Reference document 83246316 000020 (Error during Insert)

I am abap developer and my func person told me that he is trying to create the Billing document  83246316  in VF01 and we are getting the following error (Reference document 83246316 000020 (Error during Insert)). Can anyone lemme know how to solve this issue.

Do you think this would be the issue
    XVBRP_KEY = XVBRP.
READ TABLE XVBRP WITH KEY XVBRP_KEY BINARY SEARCH.
    CASE SY-SUBRC.
    WHEN 4.
    INSERT XVBRP INDEX SY-TABIX.
    WHEN 8.
    APPEND XVBRP.
    WHEN OTHERS.
    MESSAGE A004 WITH VBAP-VBELN VBAP-POSNR. <<<<<
    ENDCASE.
The error occurs due an incorrect SY-SUBRC after reading table XVBRP
(SY-SUBRC not equal to 4 or 8). This means that the content of work area
    XVBRP is inconsistent.
The problem is caused by a wrong source code in user exits or custom
copy routine. Please check in programs RV60AFZZ, RV60AFZA, RV60AFZB,
RV60AFZC, and RV60AFZD if you change the content of work area XVBRP.
Please make the same check also in the eventual customized routines
    set in copy control.

  • Cisco SG300 HOSTP_flash_operation: fatal error during read operation!

I have 2 Cisco SG300-52P switches.   Earlier this week, one of them started dropping connections and POE was not working on a couple of devices...  I came in this morning to restart them when no one else was around. After restarting them, the troublesome one was still not detecting POE devices.
I have been waiting for some down time to do a firmware update, so I thought this might straighten things out.  I Downloaded the updated bootloader and firmware from Cisco's site.  Updating the (non-problem) SG300 went exactly as it should.  Upgrading the the bootloader on the problem SG300 went exactly as it should.  Started the firmware update on the problem switch ....... and it didn't come back online.  The power light was flashing, and occasionally the lights on ports would blink like they were trying to reset, but they never made it.   There weren't really any special configurations on this switch so I had nothing to lose by trying a factory reset via the pinhole on the front ...... same result.
I connected to the serial port via a win7 PC with putty. .. All setting per Cisco. I got a message that the connection was detected, but it would not accept keyboard input.  I power cycled the SG300 and watched the messages go by ... It looked like everything was working.  I even got a message that the "Initialization task was completed"..
Then this message "HOSTP_flash_operation: fatal error during read operation!"
We have had a couple of internet and power outages recently, but I am trying to rule out other issues before blaming it on that.
    any suggestions?
    putty output file attached

I am not familiar with SG series products, but looking at the error message in the attached file, it appears there is an issue with reading from the flash.  It could be that the flash file is corrupted and the flash needs to be formatted and then reload the software again.
If you have support contract on the product, I would suggest you open a TAC ticket with Cisco and have them help you.

    All,
It appears that the page Javascript maximum limit size was reached. The error stopped appearing after some of the page Javascript code was removed out to Application Static Files. I wonder if there exists any "direct" indicator by the system whenever the size limit has been reached?
Again, the run error only occurred when the page was loaded in "Debug" mode.

  • ORA-04045: errors during recompilation/revalidation

I was applying catlog.sql and catproc.sql, but has some problem during it, and now, when I try to access a database in the sqlplus appear follow errors:
    ERROR:

    ORA-06512: at line 2
    Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO
    Someone know about it ??
    Thanks

What went wrong during catalog and catproc ?
Did you run out of space ? In that case just enable autoextension on the system tablespace datafile[s] and re-run catalog & catproc. Check the logfiles.

  • ME11 update error : Error during insert EINE with key

    HI All,
I am facing the below problem..For one particular user update request is failing in ME11 transaction.Error was found in function module name ME_UPDATE_INFORECORD.I also check if it is number range problem but it is not the case..
    Please help me out..
    Thanks in advacne.

    Hi,
The problem is that only one user is getting sporadic failed update messages (since last 3-4 days) when using transaction ME11. The error as recorded in SM13 is "Error during insert EINE with key <Inforecord #> <Pur Org>".
I checked the table EINE for the key mentioned in the above message and found that there is a 2 years old record with the same key. Now, what I do not understand is that while creating a new Inforecord, why does SAP comes up with an old number instead of generating a new one from the number range object. I tried to search on SDN as well as OSS Notes, but could not find any mention to this problem.
And yes, it is an abend message with no short dump...
    Thanks,
    Gaurav

  • ME 807: System error: error during insert in table KONV

    Hi,
I got the below error when creating PO using ME21N, what should I do?
ME 807: System error: error during insert in table KONV
    Thanks.

During the creation of Purchasing Orders the system displays the message "Error during insert in table KONV". The problem is solved and I would like to share the steps we use to solve the problem.
You can get details of the error in the Business Workplace (T-Code SBWP) or through the transaction SM13. The details of the error are:
    Function Module
    ME_CREATE_DOCUMENT
    Status
    Update was terminated
    Report
    LEINUU03
    Row
    167
    Message
ME807 System error: error during insert in table KONV
I applied the SAP Note 1610553 - BAPI_PO_CHANGE: Header conditions are not transferred which describes exactly the problem but it was not solved.
The solution was creating a new Purchasing Record and, before saving, remove all the conditions in Header level and save the document. After that, it's possible to create documents without problem.

  • System Error During Insert (Table KNMT SUBRC 4)

    Hi All,
I am getting a peculiar error when i try to update KNMT table using the FM RV_CUSTOMER_MATERIAL_UPDATE.
When i run it directly in debug mode, entries are getting created perfectly.
But when i run it through RFC, before the FM is executed itself, during validation, i am getting an error in the message queue stating "System Error During Insert (Table KNMT SUBRC 4).
I cheked that KNMT table is empty. Also i had deleted all entries using the standard transaction VD52.
I found that there is a certain FM RV_CUSTOMER_MATERIAL_UPDATE_C which is described as Posting program for customer-material info (CALL mode).
But i am not sure what this does. I cannot view the documentation in my system and also this FM does not have any parameters.
Kindly let me know if anyone has encountered an error like this... Please let me know of any suggestions for resolution.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mz
P.S : The Functionality seems to work intermittently... though not when i want it.
Edited by: Mazin Mahmood on Dec 8, 2011 9:09 AM

    Hi,
The issue was that i was calling the function module RV_CUSTOMER_MATERIAL_UPDATE using an RFC.(ABAP Proxy) For some reason, while using an RFC, there is some issue with this function module and the database commit .
I had to recode using BDC (for transaction vd51) approach for creating a record in KNMT.
    Thanks All,
    Cheers,
