Hi All,
We are getting the following error after migration to 11g. We have Oracle 11.2.0 right now. Migration was done from 10.2.0 to 11.2.0
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 2473584
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
ORA-06512: at "DBSNMP.BSLN_INTERNAL", line 2073
ORA-06512: at line 1
I followed the solution provided on metalink[ID 736627.1]. Then also I am getting the above error.
Please let me know, if anyone of you know any other trick to resolve this.

I had similar issue after upgrade. According to this Metalink Note you should execute these scripts
SQL> @?/rdbms/admin/catnsnmp.sql -- drop user
SQL> @?/rdbms/admin/catsnmp.sql -- create user
In my case it failed to create DBSNMP User due to password related errors. We had PASSWORD_VERIFY_FUNCTION in Default profile and script uses default password which is not strong. I had to modify script to use different strong password.
Not sure if this your case.

ORA-06512: at "DBSNMP.BSLN_INTERNAL::Does it Impact something on DB

Hi All,
I got an error in alert log as follows, Looks like table given contains inconsistent information, existing records in table “DBSNMP.BSLN_BASELINES” conflict with new baseline information inserted in the cloned database. I guess the DBSNMP user needs to be dropped and re-created
I just want to know , Does it impact something if so then i will recreate if not then I wont touch it.

i have installed XE 11.2.0.2 on Linux 3.1.10-1.9-desktop (Suse) with:
rpm -ivh oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm.
without errors in logfiles, but anyway i have two small problems:
1. Erros in file /u01/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/xe/XE/trace/alert_XE.log:

After installation, I have not found in the table dba_users the user dbsnmp and started for this reason from
$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin two scripts (sqlplus sys / as sysdba ..) :
catnsnmp.sql and catsnmp.sql
Question: have i done it right?
2. I tested expdp und impdp with full=Y und impdp-logifile shows this error:

1. catnsnmp.sql and catsnmp: after shutdown und startup the XE ist working correctly, jobs too, no errors in alert_XE.log.
2. expdp/impdp, only to clarify:
     The first reason that I tested "expdp" and "impdp" with the option "full=Y",
     was to verify whether it is possible, and if after "impdp" the XE-database works properly.
     The second reason was, to test the following restore strategy after XE total crash (hardware crash):
     - before the crash: daily (crontab) expdp full=y
     - after the crash: take a new computer with Linux
     - install new XE instance with rpm
     - data pump import with "impdp FULL = Y REUSE_DATAFILES" incl. databaselinks, DBSNMP schema and my private schemas
     This restore strategy, i hope, is working properly (i tested it), if i ignore "impdp" already exists errors ORA-31684 and ORA-39111.
     Only following errors are not OK:
     ORA-39083: Object type TABLESPACE failed to create with error:
+     ORA-02236: invalid file name+
+     Failing sql is:+

Gathering Table Statistics throws errors ORA-20001 and ORA-06512 on 11g

Hi Forum!
I try to gather statistics on a 11.2.0.1 DB for a Siebel application.
The script which generates the statistics errors out and I don't know why. so I tried to query sys.dba_tab_statistics manually, but event then I receive an error:
select * from sys.dba_tab_statistics
ORA-20001: BIN$PV5XQQHLSAYJ0KPMEY1MHG==$0 is an invalid identifier
ORA-06512: in "SYS-DBMS_STATS", Zeile 2082
ORA-06512: in "SYS-DBMS_STATS", Zeile 2098
ORA-06512: in "SYS-DBMS_STATS", Zeile 26789
Any ideas?

ORA-06508,ORA-06512, why I should re-connect and after that it runs well?

It appears sometimes. But sometimes it does not appear.
you can create 2 package.
package a, package b.
A depends on b.
You can call the package A in the client side using c++ code.
then compile the b(do not change and code of b, just recompile it) successfully.
If you are lucky you can see the errors.

Installing 10g R2 on WinXP SP2 NL gives ORA-19870, ORA-19612, ORA-06512...

I'm trying to install version 10g R2 on the following configuration:
ASUS K8V SE board + AMD 64 Athlon + 512Mb Ram + 160GB SATA HD + 18GB IDE HD Windows XP SP2 NL
When I install 10g without creating the db then it installs without problem.
If I try to create the db (afterwards or during install) I get the following errors:
(Translated from Dutch to English)
ORA-19870: Error by reading backup part C:\ORACLE\DB10G2\ASSISTANTS\DBCA\TEMPLATES\SEED_DATABASE.DFB
ORA-19612: Data file 3 is not fixed because of missing or corrupt data.

I get the option to ( Ignore ) or ( Abort )
Ignoring brings other simular problem and at the end I dont have a database.
The files are on the HD and are readable, even installed from a second download gives the same errors.
I have tryed several things even disable BitDefender 9 internet security but nothing helps.
Can someone give me some hints ?

Thank for your reply. I try what you say at the first time but it's failed because of missing file. If it is successfully installed for you, I will try it.
For me I ignore the database config process and end installation. After that I create successfully my database by orace configuration and migration tools > database config.

Export scheduler job but chain step and chain rule failed with ORA-24150 ORA-06512 during executed sql script.

Hi Folks,
I used expdp utility to export all Oracle scheduler jobs and chains with below method, after that generate sql script by impdp, later on executing sql script encountered some errors.
Only chain step and chain rule for executing script. Does anyone bright me some light? Thanks!
My env: Oracle 11g + Oracle Linux 5.5
My steps as below:
1. export(expdp) oracle scheduler job(chain)
2. generate sql script by impdp.
3. remove orginal scheduler job(chain)
4. execute sql script
5. job with no chain well but job with chain failed

I took some test that the data dict(dba_rule_sets/dba_evaluation_contexts) no any data returned after I had removed the job.
So I tried to create evaluation context and re-executed script(only exception setion.) the first error has gone. For the second still have some issue.

Some questions regarding BPEL 10g to 11g migration.

Hi All
I have the following queries,
1.Is it mandatory to load xsd's , wsdl's , XREF , DVM into MDS ? or is it allright to keep them in file system ? currently we have a number of xsd's and wsdl's inside each of our 10g project > bpel subfolder. If they need to be deployed to MDS , then which files in 11g will need to be modified to use the new 'oramds:/apps/..... ' reference ?
do they get automatically loaded into MDS when a Composite is deployed on WLS or do they have to be deployed separately using ant-sca-deploy?
2. Should we modify fault-bindings.xml , DefaultPolicy.xml before or after upgrading the 10g project ? I understand that their references in composite.xml also need changing.
3.
a.Is it mandatory to modify the 10g dbadapter.rar contents (convert oc4j-ra.xml to weblogic-ra.xml ) and deploy the rar on 11g ?
b.or can we manually create data sources,outbound connection pools> jndi factories etc and redeploy the dbadapter on 11g so that its weblogic-ra.xml gets updated with the data sources,jndi that we manually created ?
want to know if 'a' and 'b' do the same thing ,so mutually exclusive OR both need to be done .
same question for JMSAdapter.rar, aqadapter.rar
4. When upgrading BPEL 10g to 11g using Jdeveloper, should all the data sources used by the project be created on Jdeveloper ?
5. Is it necessary to copy properties from 10g domain.xml t0 11g bpel-config.xml,soa-infra-config.xml ?
6. Should external webservices used by BPEL be up and running , while upgrading from 10g to 11g in jdeveloper , OR only during deployment to wls? if they are needed during upgrading how to link to them from jdeveloper ?
7. Do BPEL 11g projects needs to be deployed on WLS only as a SAR or are any other formats allowed ?

Seems there are some while space in the endpoint url.

Invoice Validation Error ORA-06512: at "APPS.AP_APPROVAL_PKG", line 111124

All,
I am getting below error message from log file after Invoice Validation program error out, please advise.
I could not search on "ORA-06512: at "APPS.AP_APPROVAL_PKG", line 11124" search, but found other errors and able to see we are very much higher file version than the note id advised.
Please help any one for this issue.

ORA-20123 is a localized/customized error code & message; therefore any solution depends upon what is unique inside your DB now.
I suspect that some sort of TRIGGER exists, which throws posted error, but this is just idle speculation on my part.

My requirement is to call store procedure from BPEL. So for I created a BPEL with 2 assign activity and 1 Invoke activity to Invoke the DB adapter. After Deploying I tested the process but it shows the following error:

What does the above error says?
1. Whether concern Grant or Execute Privileges is not properly provided to the user?
2. Is there any Dangling Privileges are prevailing?
3. Is that the Store Procedure to be Handled with an Error Handling by means of Exception?
4. Is that I have been giving wrong test data?
5. Is that No data being existing in the Procedure?
6. Is that anything related to XA and NON-XA Data Source?

Can you check the following ?
a. Hopefully the when you execute the procedure using sql tool it works fine and returns data.
b. Is there any input parameter available for procedure ?
c. IF yes, is the parameter is mapped with the procedure parameter and populated with value before calling the procedure ?
d. In the audit trial, you can see from the invoke activity to see whether the parameter is populated with value or not ?
e. Check the input parameter by executing the procedure with sql tool to see whether this request is receiving any data in return or not ?

OBIEE/EBS R12 - works, except for one user - ORA-06512 error

We are successfully using EBS integration with OBIEE, but for one user that we have created it doesn't work. When they try to access OBIEE from EBS we get this error in NQServer.log:

Has anyone else seen this problem?
Our EBS DBA has checked that the above sql can be run with the session set to the problem user, and compared with a user who can successfully connect to OBIEE. The results were the same for both.

I was on the wrong lines with this one.
The error in the NQServer.log was not from the problem user, it was a separate user.
The real cause of a specific user not being able to login was a corrupt web catalog (which we're still trying to resolve)
