ORA-12505, error when i tried to open the "Workflow Administrator" tool

i have installed Oracle content server 10g r3, but when i tried to open the "Workflow Administrator" tool i got the following error "ORA-12505, TNS: listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor", so how can i solve this issue?
//hint i am using Oracle database 10g

Is the rest of your UCM install running OK?
This implies that the JDBC connection is failing.
Are you running Workflow Administrator from the Admin Applets in the browser OR as a standalone application from command line (*nix) or Start menu (windows)
I think that the application would normally look in config.cfg and use the JDBC connection string given in there - this would include the SID. Can you tnsping the SID?

Error when i try to open the Oracle content server workflow administrator

i have installed the Oracle content server 10g r3 , but when i tried to open the workflow administrator tool i got the following error message during "loading cached tables" process, although i have made all the required steps in the installation manual ; the error is
"Unable to start the application work-flow. failed to initialize . the database table list was empty using a catalog of (null) and schema 'UCMADMIN'. you may need to configure the database schema explicitly using the configuration entry databaseschmemaname "
does anyone know what might be the problem ?

It seems that I have specified to manually create the required tables and roles during the installation steps, so I manually run the required SQL scripts which include (creating tables, creating roles, creating users , etc..), and after have successfully login to the workflow administration tool .

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

PWA 2010 error when i try to open the project name in Project Center

For what it's worth, given the age of this question, I've found that stopping and starting the Project Application Service on each server via Central Admin is less disruptive to the rest of your farm when using Project Server in a larger SharePoint
farm.
IISRESET will cause active user sessions to be disconnected and could result in lost data.
I also found that recycling the app pool associated with my Project Server web application in IIS and restarting the web site did not resolve this situation so the IISRESET is not a guaranteed fix.
Targeting only the Project Application Service from Central Admin removes this minor risk and actually restored access to our Project Sites.

I got notification for updates in app store but when i tried to open the updates section it shows blank

I have 5 notification for app updates in my appstore. I tried to open the "App Store" app and tried update tab below. It started loading but after few seconds it showed me nothing but a blank page i have good internet connection and all other tabs open well please help me with this

HTTP 500 Internal Server Error When I tried to open my web page.

I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.
I deploied my application at Target platform is Standalone OC4J 10g 10.1.3.
I can open my application at my local host.
I tried to do same way for company server.
I can't open my application,
I created my application adf face with BC.
I put http://<hostName>:8888/customerMain/faces/showCustomerContacts.jspx
I put "customerMain" as specify J2EE web Context Root.
When I tried to run my application at server,that was returned simple message .

I have Adobe Reader (9.2.0 and 9.3.0, but it doesnt seem matter as prob is on either) installed on XP workstations and a windows 03 terminal server. All working dandy until recently when we switched off roming profiles and redirection of appdata to accomodate a transition to a new system shortly.
Reinstall / reboot / uninstall / reboot all brings up same prob.
My guess is i need to change something in the registry, maybe a permission or something, since Adobe Reader must be looking for something / denied access to something it think is there but isnt. If i create a new profile for a user, the problem disappears. Im reluctant to do this for everyone though.
Any of you guys clever enough to point me in the right direction?

Turns out needed to edit the registry in order to get appdata pointing to the correct place using the variable %appdata% instead of the old network location.

I want to change the database for webaccess. I use a database in MS Sql Server now. for that I choose "Database Configuration Setup" from the Start menu,
Programs, Oracle - Primavera P6> Primavera P6 Web Access Utilities . I open this tool and in the 1st step I select Oracle in the 2nd step I entered the below informationusername and passsword: admuser
database name: pmdb (I create this database before and I tested that successfully in P6)
Database Host Address: *127.0.0.1*
Database Host Address: 1521 (I'm sure the port is 1521)
I didn't select SSL and Public Group ID set to 1
after i click on next one error returned that "ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in ..."
I added XE as SID before database name and correct database name to XE:PMDB. but I below error returned:
Error:Unable to resolve privileged username and password
Invalid connection string
format, a valid form at is: "host :port:sid"
Please verify the information you entered.

wow, I found the solution.
you must set database name as XE
correct information are as below:
username and passsword: admuser
database name: XE
Database Host Address: *127.0.0.1*
Database Host Address: *1521*
then click next.
