ORA-26004: Tables loaded through the direct path may not be clustered
hi ,
I im planning to upload data to IOT table using sqlldr. but end with error.
ORA-26004: Tables loaded through the direct path may not be clustered.
how to resolve this. as this table going to insert high voluem data and to speed up the table quary we created IOT table.
table create syntax:
create CLUSTER C_HUA
B_number number(10),
A_number number(10),
ins_date date,
account number(10),
C_number number(10))
SQL> CREATE TABLE HUA
A_number number(10),
B_number number(10),
ins_date date,
account number(10),
C_number number(10)
CLUSTER C_HUA
B_number,
A_number,
ins_date,
account,
C_number);
SQL> CREATE INDEX HUA_index1 on CLUSTER C_HUA;
Pl help to resolve this.
thanks
ashwan
You have to use conventional path. DIRECT=false.
Restrictions on Using Direct Path Loads
The following conditions must be satisfied for you to use the direct path load method:
* Tables are not clustered.
* Tables to be loaded do not have any active transactions pending.
* Loading a parent table together with a child Table
* Loading BFILE columns

ORA-04091: table name is mutating, trigger/function may not see it
Hi,
I have a row level before update trigger written on a table A which calls a procedure to undergo some processing. Procedure has some select queries against table A and it inturn causes the following error.
ORA-04091: table name is mutating, trigger/function may not see it
To overcome this I have used a combination of PL/SQL collection types (nested tables based on the following definition TYPE t_table_a is table of A.colname%TYPE index by binary_integer;), a row level before update trigger and statement level after update trigger. The mutating problem is fixed, but to update one row of data it took around 3 min and I am wondering if its the problem with PL/SQL tables I have used.
In before update trigger I am storing the unique id's which needs to be updated into the PL/SQL table and in the after update trigger I am looping through the PL/SQL table and peforming the rest of the processing by calling in the procedure.
Can anyone help how to minimize the run time of this process or if any other better solution exists?
Thanks for the helpTriggers raise the mutating table issue, because else they could be used to create endless loops. If you work around the mutating table issue, then you should make sure not to create an endless loop yourself. This would be possible.
You description also seems to imply something like this.
Without code it is impossible to say something specific.
- Do you initialize your collection in a before statement trigger?
- Is your looping mechanism somehow broken?
- Do you update the same table again and again and again? -
ORA-04091: table AM is mutating, trigger/function may not see it
I create this trigger:
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER pr_test
after insert ON AM
FOR EACH ROW
declare
appo_pr varchar2(64):= null;
BEGIN
select name
into appo_pr
from AS
where AS_ID=:new.AS_ID;
insert into AM (name) values (appo_pr);
END pr_test;
I insert before a new AS_ID and name in tab AS but when I insert a new record in tab AM I get this error:
ORA-04091: table AM is mutating, trigger/function may not see it
ORA-06512: at PR_TEST", line 11
ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger PR_TEST'
I'd like to create a trigger that when I insert a new record in AM It verify the value in col name of AS and insert this value in col name of AM.
What I wrong in this trigger??
How can I modify it??
Thanks
RafTry this:
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER pr_test
before insert ON AM
FOR EACH ROW
declare
appo_pr AS.name%TYPE;
BEGIN
select name
into appo_pr
from AS
where AS_ID = :new.AS_ID;
:new.name = appo_pr;
END pr_test; -
ORA-04091:table XYZ is mutating,trigger/function may not see it ORA-06512
Hi everybody
i am facing mutating problem during data deletion fron XYZ table as
ORA-04091:table XYZ is mutating,trigger/function may not see it ORA-06512 at "user.procdure_name",line 39 ORA-065
i have table XYZ and have database trigger on this table
and also have procedure "user.abc" in this procedure m selecting data from xyz tableYou didn't post the actual code. I was more interested in seeing table name and the trigger body.
Anyways, mutation problem comes when you refer the same table on the trigger, on which it is based for some data manipulation on that table.
For e.g, If inside your trigger body, you are doing INSERT on the same table, then it'll definitely result in mutation problem because this trigger will be fired endlessly (as it is after insert trigger).
Please mark answer as helpful / correct, if it helps you

ORA-04091: table POSTAL_ADDRESS is mutating, trigger/function may not see it
First off, there are NO TRIGGERS defined on the table in question in our database.
The process we need to accomplish is as follows:
1. Load addresses from the table.
2. Send the addresses through a standardization routine.
3. Multi-Insert any address that was successfully standardized and is not already present.
So how do I tell ODI 12c to create a temporary table before doing the multi-insert? So far everything I've tried gets "flattened" and results in the same error.
OR
Is there a different solution?
Thanks for your help,
ScottI fixed this by creating a second Physical+Logical+Model to the same database (not sure if I needed all three but did it this way to make sure). This caused ODI to generate a SOURCE_GROUP and TARGET_GROUP instead of just a TARGET_GROUP in the physical view. Then all I had to do is on the properties of the first item in the target, set the properties on the LKM Oracle to Oracle Pull (DB Link).GLOBAL to whichever option I wanted (USE_STAGE_TABLE or SELECT_FROM_SOURCE_VIEW). One thing to do is put the database's own SID in the SOURCE_ACCESS_DB_LINK so it doesn't create an unnecessary DB Link.
Hope that helps someone else! -

Direct load insert vs direct path insert vs nologging
Hello. I am trying to load data from table A(only 4 columns) to table B. Table B is new. I have 25 million records in table A. I have debating between direct load insert,, direct path insert and nologging. What is the diference between the three methods of data load? What is the best approach??
Hello,
The fastest way to move data from Table A to Table B is by using direct path insert with no-logging option turned on table B. Meaning this will be produce minimum logging and in case of DR you might not be able to recover data in table B. Now Direct path insert is equivalence of loading data from flat using direct load method. Generally using conventional method it's six phases to move your data from source (table, flat file) to target (table). But with direct path/load it will cut down to 3, and if in addition you will use PARALLEL hint on select and insert you might have faster result.
INSERT /*+ APPEND */ INTO TABLE_B SELECT * from TABLE_A;Regards

Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found
"Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found" while trying to access another PC running Windows 7 Ultimate I searched and read dozens of similiar posts to try to resolve this issue with no success.
The situation is, I have a router in home with 4 PC's connected. My central PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate. The others are Windows 7 Ultimate again, and 2 running XP Pro. No special Firewalls, just have Windows Firewall enabled on all PC's, and am running KasperskyInternetSecurity2010 on all. (Have disabled these on all PC's and tried to view/connect and it didnt make a difference, same error)
Fact one: not attempting a Homegroup connection at all, just simply wishing to connect in a basic network environment where I can drag and drop files between all PC's in my Home Network or in my house , however its considered. But on the Windows 7 I am unable to view either of the XP's only the other Win7, and when I try to access that one is when I get the "Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found".
Furthermore, while troubleshooting the problem I opened a Command Prompt in all computers, then an "ipconfig" to view each ip address. Then began to ping each machine to determin connectivity. Which resulted in partial success. My main Win7 machine (which i am on now) was able to ping successfully to all machines. But all other machines were unable to ping to me (main Win7). with a 100% loss.
So at least I determined this is most likely a helpful fact in resolving this. Going into "services.msc" I made sure that all the obvious services are started and running:
DCHP Client, Homegroup Listener, Homegroup Provider, Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper, NetTcp Port SHaring Service, Network Connections, Network List Service, Network Location Awareness, TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
All strarted and running in Automactic mode.
Not sure what other information I can give at this point, to help assist in fixing this problem. Please dont hesitate to ask for me for more info if needed. Ready and willing to try anything to get this working, except for reinstalling the OS. All my programs work great and do not wish to go through the drama ao reinstalling all my programs and activating them and redoing all my Adobe settings and CAD settings.
Someone please help !Hi,
In addition, I would like to suggest the following:
Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP:
1. Go to “Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections”.
2. Right-Click on the connection and choose Properties.
3. Click “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Version 4” in the list.
4. Click Properties, and then click Advanced.
5. On the Advanced TCP/IP settings windows, go to “WINS” tab.
6. Under NetBIOS setting, click “Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP”, and then click OK.

A general shared_pool_size Q&A is part of the Troubleshooting Guide on OTN: http://technet.oracle.com/products/iportal/htdocs/portal_troubleshooting.htm
The Configuration Assistant determines the shared pool size from the view v$parameter,
which lists information about the initialization parameters (populated from init.ora file). If the shared_pool_size value is more than 15728640 (for a default installation), you pass the minimal requirements set by the Portal Installer. Make sure you actually write out all the digits (i.e. 1000000000) and don't use abbreviations (1000M). Currently, the Configuration Assistant does a numeric check against the values that are set and cannot resolve the abbreviate syntax.
Also try running the sql [select value from v$parameter where name like 'shared_pool_size';] to check if the changes you are making in the init.ora is really getting populated in the v$parameter view. As long as you restart the database once you make the change in init.ora, it should take effect.

When I open up a PDF Document all i get is an error message saying: "There was an error opening this document. The network path was not found" I dont know how to fix this, so looking for some advice please, as I really need o open up my documents.
Thank for any help.The documents I’m trying to read are already saved on my computer, under various different headings, I know that we have a server, so I only assume these documents are saved on here, as I said before I’m not good with all this techno stuff. I do my work each week ( on a payroll system) and save the documents for each company, they automatically go to the correct place. I never request for them to be saved in a certain place ( well not that I’m aware of) . I then on occasions need to open up this information, it is then that I can’t read or open the documents. We do have a tech help, but they are off sick until the 5th Jan, hence me trying to work out if I can fix this problem through this help site. Its ADOBE Reader that I’m trying to use.

however while accessing the file from share location sometimes the below error comes however after sometime again the error vanishes and the user is able to access the file
error is "The network path was not found"
other users are not having those error
user is having windows 7 enterprise
the below is the error found in the eventviewer at the same the above error is recieved by the user while accessing the share location
"Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2"
because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected."
Thank you

Here is a KB article talking about the logged error:
Event ID 10 is logged in the Application log after you install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2545227
The cause:
This originated in the Windows 7 SP1 DVD/ISO creation process. There was an issue in the creation process that caused a WMI registration to remain in the DVD/ISO. Since the registration is designed to work only during the DVD/ISO creation process, it fails
to run on a live system and causes these events. These events are not indicative of any issue in the system and can be safely ignored. If however you want to prevent these events from getting generated and want to remove this specific WMI registration manually,
please follow the steps mentioned in this article for running the workaround script.
Please run the Fix it Tool mentioned in the above article and see if issue insists.
Best regards
Michael Shao

I have encountered the dreaded "The specified path does not contain a valid operating system or you do not have permission to access it. Specify a valid path" message that seems to be popular in many forums .... BUT, so far none of the "solutions"
have fixed the problem (of I don't understand the fix)
Configuration
SCCM 2012 SP1 5.0.7804.1000
WADK 8.100.26629.0 < Suggested Fix
Server 2008 R2
SCCM Administrator with UserID = SCCMAdmin
Steps / Fixes I have followed
I have configured a administrative share
\\caleb\sources$ to hold directories (such as Apps, Drivers, and OS) with the following NTFS Permissions
EVERYONE has Read and Execute, List folder, Read permissions<o:p></o:p>
SYSTEM has Full Control
<Suggested Fix
SCCMManagers (our group that has all SCCMManagers) has Full Control<o:p></o:p>
SCCMAdmin (the SCCM Admin account that we are using to import image) has Full Control<o:p></o:p>
Local Administrators (the local machine administrator) has Full Control
<Suggested Fix
<o:p></o:p>
Another Fix is to explicitly grant all permissions to the SCCM Administrator
<Suggested Fix
>Administrative Users ...
Properties of the SCCM Administrator (for us that is SCCMAdmin) has all the boxes checked<o:p></o:p>
Another suggestion I was able to glean was to Specify the Network Access Account
so I configured SCCMAdmin as the Network Access Account.
Another potential fix is that the image ISO file that has been downloaded is corrupt. So, I downloaded the Win 7 (and Win 8.1) ISO's from MSDN and did a Checksum check.
I then mounted the ISO (on 2008R2 I use VirtualClone Drive) and copied the contents of the image to
E:\Sources\OS\en_windows_7_professional_with_sp1_vl_build_x86_dvd_u_677896 for Windows 7 with SP1
To double check,
I computed the Hash on the Install.WIM located in the Sources directory and compared with
the computed Has Tag for the Install.WIM on the ISO Image ... and the Hash tag of the WIM's matched (extracted vs what is contained within the ISO)<o:p></o:p>
I tried to load the images into SCCM 2012 using the "Operating System Installers" option
UNC to installer
\\caleb\sources$\OS\en_windows_7_professional_with_sp1_vl_build_x86_dvd_u_677896
Then I receive the lovely message <o:p></o:p>
"The specified path does not contain a valid operating system or you do not have permission to access it. Specify a valid path"<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>

Specify Remote Folder - The specified path is not a remote shared folder
I'm getting this error when I try to check a backup stored on a NAS. When I attempt to recover from it, I pick "A backup stored on another location" then "Remote shared folder".
I put in the path: \\192.168.16.17\public\server\2014-01-24
And what I get is the above error message: "The specified path is not a remote shared folder"
The path clearly is a remote shared folder. If I paste it into explorer it opens fine, and I can copy/delete files from it. What gives?That's correct; the folder I specified above contains the WindowsImageBackup folder. I can access that folder fine in Explorer, but when I try to direct the backup to it it gives the error I mentioned: "The specified path is not a remote shared
folder".
Note that the error message you receive if you specify a folder which does not contain a WindowsImageBackup folder is "The specified remote shared folder does not contain a backup. Provide the path to a remote shared folder that contains backups."
