Oracle 9i Recovery-- cant use resetlogs option

Hi,
I am trying to recover the database using cold backup.iam unable to perform the recovery as i am getting the following error.
Please reply me i am a newbie to DBA.I am still undergoing training in DBA

check your redo logs and find sequence# and thread, specify this file when prompted for archive log file.

Based on your issue, first of all, I suggest you could try to save the web page you created and then right click your solution or web project->build your solution/project and then check this issue again.
You could also try to use the Ctrl+Shift+W to check if you could view your web page in the browser.
Generally, I know that when we choose the "view in browser" option by right-click a .aspx web page. So to check if this issue is related to the VS IDE or the specified project, I suggest you could try to create a simple ASP.NET project and
the add a .aspx file, then check if you can see the "view in browser" option by right-click the .aspx web page.
(1) If you still could not see the "view in browser" option, I suggest you could try to reset the VS setting file by clicking the TOOLS->Import and Export Settings... check this issue again.
If it sill could not help you, maybe you will need to repair or re-install the VS IDE check this issue.
(2) If you could see the "view in browser" option, I assume that the issue maybe related to your code for your web page. So please you ask this issue directly to the ASP.NET forum:http://forums.asp.net/ you

Can play audio after last update cant use feedback option either

Dear Sir after the latest firefox update the most of the audio pop-ups from individual radio stations, from site that I am using religiously to listen to radio from my country of origin, dont play audio. However, I am able to open all audio pop-us when I use explorer. What is the problem and how can I fix it?

Incomplete Recovery Fails using Full hot backup & Archive logs !!

Hello DBA's !!
I am doing on Recovery scenario where I have taken One full hot backup of my Portal Database (EPR) and Restored it on New Test Server. Also I restored Archive logs from last full hot backup for next 6 days. Also I restored the latest Control file (binary) to their original locations. Now, I started the recovery scenario as follows....
1) Installed Oracle 10.2.0.2 compatible with restored version of oracle.
2) Configured tnsnames.ora, listener.ora, sqlnet.ora with hostname of Test server.
3) Restored all Hot backup files from Tape to Test Server.
4) Restored all archive logs from tape to Test server.
5) Restored Latest Binary Control file from Tape to Test Server.
6) Now, Started recovery using following command from SQL prompt.
SQL> recover database until cancel using backup controlfile;
7) Open database after Recovery Completion using RESETLOGS option.
Now in Above scenario I completed steps upto 5) successfully. But when I execute the step 6) the recovery completes with Warning : Recovery completed but OPEN RESETLOGS may throw error " system file needs more recovery to be consistent " . Please find the following snapshot ....

Note : I tried to Open the database using Last Full Hot Backup only & not applying any archives. Then Database Opens successfully. It means my Database Installation & Configuration is OK !

oh you made up a new thread so here again:
there is nothing wrong.
You restored your backup, archives etc.
you started your recovery and oracle applyed all archives but the archive
'/oracle/EPR/oraarch/1_9624_601570270.dbf'
does not exist because it represents your current online redo log file and that is not present.
the recovery process cancels by itself.
the solution is:
restart your recovery process with:
recover database until cancel using backup controlfile
and when oracle suggests you '/oracle/EPR/oraarch/1_9624_601570270.dbf'
type cancel!
now you should be able to open your database with open resetlogs.

actually its not in DFU which is suppose to be a black screen. When it powers on there is an image of Itunes logo and the usb cord. What happened is I did an update before I backed up my photos the phone worked great after the update no issues till it powered off. When I turned it on again it had those two icons and was forcing me to sync with Itunes to system default which will wipe out my media.

*"Simplify recovery after opening the database with the RESETLOGS option"* in this topic what one need to study.
As i am little bit confuse related to "Recovery through RESETLOGS and reset of the incarnation of the database".
Kindly correct me if i am wrong

Here is the answer: Not an add on or plug-in! In fact you can get rid of all those useless plugins and add-ons! Go and get it. Im using the Alpha version right now and it works great. Works better then anything else .......add multiple links for all files sit back and relax. Its all done for you with no more intervention on your part! Check it out!

If you are saying that the iPod asks for the password for the network and you do not know it, what may work is to turn on iCloud keychain for the iPod and iPad., Thet may sync the password from the iPad to the iPod

In the Trial version of Illustrator try this:
In the top right of your screen, choose 'Essentials' from the workspace menu.
Then from the same menu, choose Reset Essentials.
Next, click the Selection tool in the Tools panel (strip on the left side of your screen, it is the black pointer at the top).
Click on the object you want to change the stroke and fill colour for. Does it display with little handles around it (this is called bounding box)? E.g. can you tell it is selected?
You should see the Stroke and Fill options in the Control panel (top horizontal strip above your document), if the object you've selected is a path. But if for instance you selected as a placed photo, you won't see the Stroke and Fill options.
If possible take a screenshot of what you are trying to do, and we can be of more help hopefully.
