Oracle AQ JMS Map messages Permissions

I am trying to use a JMS Map message in a trigger but cannot get it to work. I have created i_aquser and given the following

Hi all,
I am trying to read JMS Map message in BPEL. Below is the message which is consumed from the JMS queue by JMS adapter.
<Receive1_Consume_Message_InputVariable>
<part name="body">
<MapMessage>
jcooper

INSERT

2345

</MapMessage>
</part>
</Receive1_Consume_Message_InputVariable>
How to traverse all the key and name value pairs? Is there any function in XSLT to achieve this? Please let me know.
ThanksI publish a JMS message to a topic in one BPEL process and have another BPEL process read from the topic and start the flow. The problem I have is that the first process is writing fine to the topic, but the second process seems to be reading twice. I am seeing two instances of the second process in em.
Can anyone help? I am using JDev 11.1.1.1.0

Good Day!
I'm currently working on a project wherein it tries to get data from a JMSqueue Map Message being populated by CEP.
After CEP pushes some data in the JMSqueue. I have BPM configured with a JMS adapter to look up whether there are any messages to be processed upon.
Inside BPM, I want to know how can I correlate the data from the Map Message to my Process Data Object.
For example, If I have a Map Object wherein it has 3 attributes:
FirstName:String
LastName:String
Age:int
What is the expression I need to use inside Oracle BPM Data Association screen in order to map the data from the Map Messages into my process data objects?
Thanks!

JeffAny ideas? Thanks!

Dequeuing a Map message from AQ using Java/JMS
I have a queue in Oracle AQ, created from a queue table with queue_payload_type of SYS.AQ$_JMS_MAP_MESSAGE. I can successfully enqueue a Map message using PL/SQL, but when I try to read a message from the queue using the JMS API (with the Oracle AQ JMS provider JARs) in a standalone Java program, the message is not successfully read. However, the RETRY_COUNT in the queue table is incremented each time I try to read from the queue. I do not receive any error messages on the client side.
If I change the queue_payload_type of the queue table to SYS.AQ$_JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE instead and enqueue a text message using PL/SQL, I can read the text message successfully in the standalone Java program using JMS. The message is removed from the queue and everything works fine.
Most Oracle AQ/JMS examples I've found on the web involve text messages. Has anyone been able to read a Map message from an Oracle AQ queue using JMS, or is there a known issue with Map messages?
I'm running Oracle 10g Standard Edition version 10.2.0.1.0 on Windows XP.
Thanks for your help,
MartyWhile you are awaiting an answer you might want to consider applying the 10.2.0.4 patch. Your version is several years old and patches are free.

WL JMS - Enterprise Message Source
Hi,
We have recently installed Oracle BAM 10.1.3. When we try to configure an Enterprise Message Source, we get only "Map Message" and "Text Message" in the drop downs for JMS Message Type.
What needs to be done to get other JMS message types such as Object Message in the drop down?
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
KMHello. In the current version of BAM - we support only TextMsg type, your incoming msg on JMS should be 'xml format' only. Also note that we support only JMSTopic in current version. See webpage for full details, docs, technotes, and samples

How to configure global transaction wthin Oracle AS JMS and Oracle JMS
How to configure global transaction if I take a message from Oracle JMS(AQ) and send it to the Oracle JMS?
Which version of OC4J are you working on?
In OC4J 10.1.3.x, presume your OC4J JMS listens messages via MDB which uses a resource adapter as a message listener. The resouce adaper could be the generic JMS adapter deployed in OC4J as the default.
Resource adapter configuration to support MDBs is included in the standard ra.xml file, which lists the message listener types that the resource adapter supports.
The MDB developer or deployer configures the MDB in the ejb-jar.xml file, through a <message-driven> element.
In addition to above, configuration in the ejb-jar.xml file specifies whether an MDB uses transactions.
1) The <transaction-type> subelement of <message-driven> in ejb-jar.xml has a value of Container, and the <trans-attribute> subelement of <container-transaction> (under the <assembly-descriptor> element) has a value of Required. In this circumstance, if there is an imported transaction, then message delivery and related work are performed within that transaction. If there is no imported transaction, OC4J creates a transaction, and message delivery and related work are performed within that transaction.
2) The <transaction-type> subelement of <message-driven> in ejb-jar.xml has a value of Bean. In this circumstance, the MDB manages the transaction. If a transaction is imported, OC4J will suspend it before the message delivery method call to the MDB, in order to avoid conflict.
Message delivery is not transacted if the <transaction-type> subelement of <message-driven> in ejb-jar.xml has a value of Container, but the <trans-attribute> element has a value of NotSupported. If there is an imported transaction in this circumstance, OC4J will suspend the transaction before the message delivery method call to the MDB.
Details could be found from OC4J Resource Adapter Guide. -
Any example for ENQUEUE_ARRAY for JMS compatible messages?
Is there any examples of using ENQUEUE_ARRAY with messages that are compatible with JMS? either a VARRAY or NESTED TABLE of JMS content?
I have an after insert trigger that propagates to JMS and in the for each row loop I'd much rather enqueue as a batch than for each individual message.
It's hard enough getting JMS compatible content working where you are enqueuing just a single message but just what's involved to get this working with batches of JMS compatible messages?Hi prajithparan,
Thanks for the response. I already looked at the link and a few other links in this forum that are related to array inserts/updates. However, I could not find answers to my specific questions. I am specifically concerned with the setup of parameters to the API calls (OCIBindByName and OCIBindArrayOfStruct) that fully reflects the two-dimensional nature of the array of structs that I am trying to insert.
Moreover, I need to set the data type of the columns to be inserted as SQLT_STR. I think this data type requires the programmer to supply the length of the null terminated C strings as well. If we are inserting just one column, we can provide the length of each of the strings to be inserted into a VARCHAR2 column as part of a OCIBind call, for each of those columns.
Since in an array insert, we are supplying multiple rows at the same time, how do we supply the lengths of strings to be inserted ? Should it be some form of two-dimensional array ?
I could not get clear answers to these questions from either the Oracle documentation or the links on this forum. May be the answers are there and I am just missing them ? -

Is there any mechanism where Oracle ESB can store messages
Hello All,
Is there any mechanism where Oracle ESB can store messages? like MQ does , Due to any reason if any compoenet goes down or Database goes down messages should not lost.
But not sure if Oracle ESB in Oracle SOA Suite 10g has feature to persist the messages ?
Waiting for reply.
Thanks & Regards
KumarIn 10g, ESB doesnot come with this builtin, you can use AQ/JMS to store the messages.

How to install Oracle AS JMS Adapter on Websphere (or any J2EE server)
Hi,
We have a requirement in which the client wants to connect to the OC4J JMS running in SOA Suite (Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.4).
They are using Websphere. We are exploring ways by which they can connect from Websphere application to Oracle AS OC4J JMS.
One option is - deploy the Oracle AS JMS adapter in Websphere and then use it to connect to the OC4J JMS.
Please let us know if this is the right approach. Also, if so, kindly point to the documentation regarding how to install the JMS adapter on 3rd party J2EE servers such as websphere.
Rgds,
AmitWhile searching the knowledge base I found the following note, which seems to suggest that Oracle Adapters are not deployble on other J2EE application servers:
Support For Jca Adapter In Other Application Servers Like Jboss [ID 1114738.1]
==============================================
From the statements in documentation it may be implied that jca adapter should be deployable on any application server that is compliant with j2ee/jca. Please note that this cannot be implied at this time and jca adapter cannot be deployed on other application servers than OAS in BRM 731 due to some technical constraints. So currently we can support only OAS and not JBoss or another application server , in BRM 731. The documentation will be updated accordingly to reflect this. -

Rafe.Let us rewrite your ODBC DSN a little bit... Your current odbc.ini looks like:
[ACME_POS]
Driver = FreeTDS
Description = ODBC Connection via FreeTDS
Trace = 1
Servername = 192.168.1.80
Database = dbo
Let us change it a little bit so that we only need one config file - no odbcinst.ini nor freetds.conf file anymore:
[ACME_POS]
Driver =/usr/local/lib/libtdsodbc.so
Server = 192.168.1.80
Database
= dbo #### I have some doubts that you have a SQL Server database called dbo - one database that always exists is master - so as a test use master here or get the real database name of the SQL Server database you want to connect
Port = 60801 ## make sure it really is the correct port - best would be to check on the SQL server and then try telnet <ip> <port> if you can connect to the SQL server
TDS_Version = 8.0
QuotedId=YES
Especially the last 2 parameters are mandatory. TDS_Version specifies the TDS Version you have to use to connect to the SQL Server and QuotedID is required for DG4ODBC as it surrounds objevt names by double quotes.
What happens now when you try to connect with for example isql - the ODBC test utility shipped with the ODBC Driver manager?
In addition, could you please do me another favour and check the word size of DG4ODBC and the ODBC Driver Manager as well as the ODBC Driver - just execute:
file /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/bin/dg4odbc
file /usr/local/lib/libtdsodbc.so
file < the patch to your libodbc.so library>/libodbc.so
and post the output. -

Problem with Mulit Mapping/Message Split
Hi,
I am a newbie to XI trying to set up a file2file scenario with multi-mapping/message splitting without BPM.
System is XI 3.0 SP14
Scenario is:
read an XML-File and multiply it and write 2 XML-files using the File adaptor.
For reference I used "multimapping without BPM".
- setting occurancy of Message types to unbounded in both Message Mapping and Interface Mapping.
- using the RB_Split button
- setting up one business service containing 2 message interfaces and 2 communication channels for output.
Designing and Konfiguring worked fine.
File is read but no file is written.
XML-Moni tells me "Mapping did not create Messages"
I did extensive studies in sap.help, forum and various blogs. Also to verify Messagetypes and Kommunication channels I set up similar file2file scenario without splitting. Nothing really helped.
Any clues?Hi again,
very efficient method to test XML-source file. - Thanks.
Unfortunately it did not solve my problem.
Again: "Split mapping did not create messages"
