Oracle BAM KPI purgin scripts
Hello
I am new to BAM (business Activity Monitoring). I am trying to do purging of data objects using i command/ or icommand webservice. Can some one please let me know how to do a step by step to do the purging, I am new to scripting can you please provide me with any sample.
Hi
Are you using a valid user name and passwd to access the plan monitor?
Did you set up a user called 'BAM' in your Enterprise Link? Normally this user will get created automaticaly while installing BAM. If it doesnt exist, you will have to create a user called BAM in EL with a blank password.
Please follow the post installation document, that is having more details.
Thanks

Hi Frds,

But now i have to merge all the file in build.xml except build.properties, is it possible, can any one suggest pls.
Thanks in advance,
Ravi. When you create a database, you run $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catalog.sql and $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catproc.sql
These scripts call the scripts that create the data dictionary tables, views, and packages. Some of the internal packages are encrypted, so good luck ... -
Hi. Im trying create a simple alert from BAM.
When I select some kind of conditions, the BAM send error screen that say:
The object does not support the property or method.
URL: server / activestudio / default.jsp? Alert Assembly = & State = oracle.bam.web.alerts.pages.AlertsEdit
There is some patch to 1.1.1.6 version to resolve some kind of error on javascript, but, even with it applied, the error remains. Na versão 1.1.1.7 the error at the same way.
This error is presented when I try to use a data object field or when I try create some message on email alerts.
Someone have any sugestion? Thanks!!!Hi Experts,
Am facing same issue on IE9. Also I have applied patch provide by oracle, but didn't work. Did any one find workaround for this problem.

Hi,
I installed a WebCenter/SOA/BAM server, and the install is all ok. The BAM Server and SOA Server is all ok too.
I use the version 11.1.1.3.
Well..., when the user create a dashboard, it's all ok, but the automatic refresh doesn't work.
I see the log file and I cut this text above:

Oracle Bam Installation problems with IIS, Error code 1
Hello, When I try to install oracle bam I got like 40 errors when its executing some vbs scripts, I think that these scripts create the virtual directories and so on but I am not sure.
The error that I see in the event log in spanis is this:
I need to say that I am an administrator on this machinem so I dont know that the problem is.
Thanks.
Yes, I do have a P4.
I have looked through previous postings and have found the following suggestions, both of which I have tried:
1. Copy the files from CD to disk, rename symcjit.dll and then run install.
2. Oracle seem to suggest that the disk directories must be called Disk1 etc.
I have also tried removing the Java SDK I had installed, stopping Apache and stopping MySQL.
Nothing has worked.
Any more ideas (please....)? -
Oracle BAM Alerts ,Clock error
Hi
I've created alerts in oracle BAM for a report on an hourly basis. When I try changing the time range a browser error pops up with the following error text.
"Unable to set value of the property 'innerText': object is null or undefined"
and a url directs me to the bam suite script clock.htc
Pls help!
Regards
Nikhil.C.Kuruphello Varun/ Coert
I guess -it- is not advisible to directly modify or alter any bam tables, it may land you into unrecoverable errors. Alternnate is to use the MakeBAMAdmin SQL utility on the OTN pages. Coert- can you try using http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/bam/10.1.3/htdocs/1013_support.html

Oracle BAM Plan Monitor does not start
Hello all,
the Oracle BAM Plan Monitor does not start in when I execute the start scripts.
It tells my that the name of the service is invalid.
Is there any possibility to check on the configuration for that service name?
I have also checked on the event log of my Windows machine. There are a couple of strange entries coming from the Oracle BAM Engine:
EventEngine: ADC Context exception ADC Server exception in GetUserGroups(): 2.
ActiveDataCache: Caught exception while validating user NT-AUTORITÄT\SYSTEM: The RPC-Server is not available

Hi Dearest Friends,
I have successfully installed ORACLE BAM on Win2003. I can launch the main menu but all the buttons [Active Viewer],[Active Studio],[Architect],[Administrator] are not functioning (or disabled). Any help please.
Thanks a lotHi,
I have encountered this issue in one on my last installation. It seems that BAM register another user during the installation than system user you used. any difference in small and capital letter will cause this problem. Please verify if your BAM-admin the same as you system user. If not there is a script in METALINK to solve this problem.
Hope that helps

Checked the file its exists and had correct server name and port and transportok - I think I've got it figured. Appears to be a known issue. You need to apply patch p17073913_121200.
I downloaded that and applied to my Linux version - then re-ran the UA. This time the GUI started and so now I'm going through the upgrade steps.
The patch is generic, so should work for your windows environment too. Good luck. -

Mario.MesquitaOk that will be nice, but is not the case I dont want to read the tutorial, the problem is I already start to read and execute the tutorial you told me the problem is this tutorial it doesnt show how to do everything from scratch because you already have inside the zip file everything like xmls etc etc, and I want to get my DO and create the process myself, I dont want to get something that it is already done, this tutorial does not show for example how to create this composite.xml, this file it is already inside the zip file, so this way I just follow half of the process and dont learn how to make the whole process.
