Oracle CC&B 2.3.1 - Cannot place loggers on getJobWork

Question

Hi,
I have a batch program and placed some loggers on the getJobWork method. But when I looked at the STDOUT file created, the logs I placed on the getJobWork method did not appear. Is it really not possible to place loggers in this method?
I declared the logger inside the main class not the worker class like this:
private static final Logger logger = LoggerFactory.getLogger(<batch program>.class);

You can place logger any place in the batch program, if you are not being able to see them it's probably because they are not being executed, in other words, maybe the program is not executing that specific piece of code.
I'm used to place loggers all over the place when I'm coding new batch specially on the getJobWork method because of performance test.
I suggest you to the following test cases:
- Check your logic again and make sure your program is executing that piece of code. As an extreme execution test you can always use the System.out.println to check if your code is being executed, but don't use it for a daily basis logging cause it looks ugly and does not show up in the log file, just in the stdout.
- Another issue might be an unsuccessful deployment of you custom code.
- As another wisdom advice, I wouldn't use any static variable in SPL development unless you know exactly what the framework is doing with the object along different threads.
