Can somebody help me?

Hi Guys,
I am wondering about this error as while I am using the same code to connect to the Oracle database server in my Windows program with Win Forms, the connection to the Oracle server is established and working fine.
But when I have tried to use it with Web Forms for my ASP.NET Application, it throws me out with these exceptions :

    I installed Oracle 9i Client tools on my machine (Win2000 Server), and successfully installed the Oracle ODBC Driver, however, upon using "Oracle in OraHome92" option in my Administrative Tools System DSN I receive the following error upon attempt to connect to the database with my ASP scripts:

    I also receive the following error on my page:

    I have tried every trick I know and at this point am out of options. If anyone has a suggestion I'd really appreciate it.
    Thanx

  • Oledb and path length - Oracle client and networking components ...

    Hello,
    I've been suddenly getting the
    "Oracle client and networking components were not found. These components are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3.3 or later client software installation."
    error when trying to connect to an oracle 9.2 database using the msdaora oledb provider.
    "..ora92/bin" is in my PATH environoment variable and the hints about setting read and execute permissions on the ..ora92/bin direction didn't work for me. However, what did do the trick, was reducing the length the PATH environement variable to under 182 characters.
    Anybody else seen this that can explain what's gonig on here?
    Erik

    Hello Kamal,
    Thanks for your reply
    My system looks like this:
    OS: MS Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
    msdaora version: 2.81.1117.0
    This problem has only recently surfaced, but has now appeared on at least two other systems as well as my own. Any system changes must have happened on all three systems. I have "automatic updates" setup on my computer and they maybe setup on the other computers - could the be responsible for breaking oledb?
    Other things I have tried:
    The Oracle Oledb provider is also not working. It gives me the error:
    "OraOLEDBpus.dll: the specified module could not be found"
    When I reduce the size of the PATH variable it works too.
    I am always able to run executables from the ../ora92/bin directory. So the path is only being wrongly interpreted by the Oledb providers.

  • Common requirement_SSMA Runtime emulation components were not found on SQL Server, please check if Extension Pack is installed correctly

    Greetings,
    After the installation of the extension pack (local sql server and installed local) i get this warning:
    Common requirement SSMA Runtime emulation components were not found on SQL Server, please check if Extension Pack is installed correctly
    and
    Common requirement SSMA Synchronization components were not found on SQL Server, please check if Extension Pack is installed correctly.
    In the Program and Features Control panel the Feature "SSMA Extensionpack" (or similar) is installed and i see it in the startmenu.
    what's wrong here, any hints?

    Hi A. Bloise,
    Based on your description ,we need to verify that the type and version of SSMA Extension Pack. Assume that you install SSMA for Oracle Extension Pack, I recommend you check the following things.
    1. Make sure that the setup file of SSMA for Oracle Extension Pack is not corrupted. You can download it from
    Microsoft Download Center.
    2. Make sure that your computer meets the following requirements for the SSMA for Oracle Extension Pack.
        •SQL Server 2005 or higher.
        •Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1 or a later version.
        •Oracle Client 9.0 or a later version, and connectivity to the Oracle databases that you want to migrate.
        •The SQL Server Browser service must be running during installation.
    3. Make sure that  the account used to install the extension pack, is a member of the sysadmin server role on the instance of SQL Server.
    If this does not work, please contact with SSMA support team for further help:

  • Just days ago, I downloaded and created folders for two batches of photos and now they are missing. They were not deleted by anyone, and even if they were, they were not found in my trash can. What happened? They were erased from my camera, so I am upset.

    Just days ago, I downloaded and created folders for 2 batches of photos I downloaded from my camera to iphotos but now both are missing.  They were not deleted and even if they were, were not found in my trashcan. I have looked through every folder and they are not there. Is there a bug that can get into iPhoto to do this? Is there a program Apple offers to retrieve lost photos? Thank you.

    debbie5891 wrote: ... They were not deleted and even if they were, were not found in my trashcan...
    How do you know they were not deleted? Is it possible that they were moved to the trash and the trash has been emptied, if not by you, perhaps by someone else?
    In the best case, you mean they were not deleted from your camera.  If so, it will be simple to merely download again from your camera after you have corrected any problem with your Mac or workflow.
    If you have a way to be certain that your two folders were not deleted from your Mac,  follow the directions provided by your Mac's Disk Utility to repair your Disk (not Disk Permissions.)  On more than one occasion, disk repair has restored the visibility of missing folders I knew I had not deleted.  If you have trouble with the process, post back which specific Mac OS version ( > About This Mac) you are using so we can offer specific help.
    It is also possible that the missing folders might be saved somewhere you do not expect them to be.
    It is also possible that they may merely be invisible and, thus, not showing in your Finder windows even after performing a Disk Repair.
    Here are some more ideas you can consider:
    Restart Mac and then look where you expect the folders to be.  They may be visible there now.
    If not, try a Spotlight search for the folder name(s) you used.  Spotlight may give you a list of places to look.  If you don't remember the folder name(s), try a search for the file type your camera uses for saved images.  My cameras save "jpg" files, but yours may save other image file types.
    You can also open a finder window and use the window's search oval to search.  The method allows you to use the search "+" button to add invisible items via the "File Visibility"  choice.
    debbie5891 wrote:... I have looked through every folder and they are not there....
    If you are using any version of Mac OS X, I doubt this statement can be true.
    If you select your disk volume name (not the Media item) in the sidebar of your Mac's Disk Utility, you will see that the number of Folders and files on your disk is very large.  For example,I keep my startup disk small and write most of my files to other disks.  Even so, my startup disk contains more than 195,000 folders.
    If you mean you used some software to search each folder, please post back the name of the app you are using.
    debbie5891 wrote: ... Is there a bug that can get into iPhoto to do this? ...
    I have not had the problem you describe, nor have I heard of such an iPhoto Bug.
    I have used every version of iPhoto I have seen including the current new version: iPhoto '11 version 9.5 (902.7).  You can find the version you are using by executing the iPhoto > About iPhoto menu command and post it back here.
    debbie5891 wrote:... Is there a program Apple offers to retrieve lost photos? ...
    I am not aware of any Apple apps that work specifically on photo files.  If you know the pathname to the lost files, and if you are comfortable with Unix commands, you might be able to use your Mac's Terminal utility to retrieve at least some of your images.  However, it will be MUCH simpler to merely download another copy from your camera.
    You can search the Mac App Store for "unerase" to find several apps that can unerase files, including deleted photo files, in certain circumstances even after the trash has been emptied.  To determine whether one or more of them may meet your needs, see their product info and reviews for specifics about each one.
    debbie5891 wrote:...Thank you.
    You're most welcome.
    If you need to post back for more information, please provide specifics on your Mac OS, iPhoto version, which of the suggestions offered here you have tried, and any details not already provided about the problem status.

  • Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found

    "Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found" while trying to access another PC running Windows 7 Ultimate I searched and read dozens of similiar posts to try to resolve this issue with no success.
    The situation is, I have a router in home with 4 PC's connected. My central PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate. The others are Windows 7 Ultimate again, and 2 running XP Pro. No special Firewalls, just have Windows Firewall enabled on all PC's, and am running KasperskyInternetSecurity2010 on all. (Have disabled these on all PC's and tried to view/connect and it didnt make a difference, same error)
    Fact one: not attempting a Homegroup connection at all, just simply wishing to connect in a basic network environment where I can drag and drop files between all PC's in my Home Network or in my house , however its considered. But on the Windows 7 I am unable to view either of the XP's only the other Win7, and when I try to access that one is when I get the "Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found".
    Furthermore, while troubleshooting the problem I opened a Command Prompt in all computers, then an "ipconfig" to view each ip address. Then began to ping each machine to determin connectivity. Which resulted in partial success. My main Win7 machine (which i am on now) was able to ping successfully to all machines. But all other machines were unable to ping to me (main Win7). with a 100% loss.
    So at least I determined this is most likely a helpful fact in resolving this. Going into "services.msc" I made sure that all the obvious services are started and running:
    DCHP Client, Homegroup Listener, Homegroup Provider, Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper, NetTcp Port SHaring Service, Network Connections, Network List Service, Network Location Awareness, TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
    All strarted and running in Automactic mode.
    Not sure what other information I can give at this point, to help assist in fixing this problem. Please dont hesitate to ask for me for more info if needed. Ready and willing to try anything to get this working, except for reinstalling the OS. All my programs work great and do not wish to go through the drama ao reinstalling all my programs and activating them and redoing all my Adobe settings and CAD settings.
    Someone please help !

    Hi,
    In addition, I would like to suggest the following:
    Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP:
    1.    Go to “Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections”.
    2.    Right-Click on the connection and choose Properties.
    3.    Click “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Version 4” in the list.
    4.    Click Properties, and then click Advanced.
    5.    On the Advanced TCP/IP settings windows, go to “WINS” tab.
    6.    Under NetBIOS setting, click “Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP”, and then click OK.
    Thanks.

  • WinRM cannot process the request. The following error occured while using Kerberos authentication: The network path was not found.

    I have two forests with a transitive on-way trust between them: PROD -> TEST (test trusts PROD). I had previously had kerberos authentication working with winrm from PROD to machines in TEST. I have verified the trust is healthy, I also verified users
    in TEST can use WINRM with kerberos just fine. Users from PROD cannot connect via kerberos to machines in TEST with winrm.
    I have verified the service has registered the appropriate SPNs. I ran dcdiag against all my PROD and TEST domain controllers and didn't find anything that would prevent kerberos from happening. I even tried disabling the firewall entirely on my TEST dcs
    but that didn't gain me anything.
    I've enabled kerberos logging but only see the expected errors such as it couldn't find a PROD SPN for the machine, which it shouldn't from what I understand, it should go to the TEST domain and find the SPN from there.
    I'm really out of next steps before I call PSS and hope someone here has run into this and could provide me some next steps.

    Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : WinRM cannot process the request. The following error occured while using Kerberos authentication: The network path was not found.

      -Kerberos is used when no authentication method and no user name are specified.

    Hi Adam,
    I'm a little unclear about which SPNs you were looking for, in which case could you confirm you were checking that on the computer object belonging to the actual destination host it has the following SPNs registered?
    WSMAN/<NetBIOS name>
    WSMAN/<FQDN>
    If you were actually trying to use WinRM to connect to the remote forest's domain controllers, then what you said makes sense, but I was caught between assuming this was the case or you meant another member server in that remote forest.
    Also, from the client trying to connect to this remote server, are you able to telnet to port 5985? (If you've used something other than the default, try that port)
    If you can't, then you've got something else like a firewall (be that the Windows firewall on the destination or a hardware firewall somewhere in between) blocking you at the port level, or the listener on the remote box just isn't working as expected. I
    just replied to your other winrm post with steps for checking the latter, so I won't repeat myself here.
    If you can telnet to it and the SPNs exist, then you might be up against something called selective authentication which has to do with how the trust was defined. You can have a read of
    this to learn a bit more about selective trusts and whether or not it's affecting you.

    I was running this form out of Form Builder 10g. At some point I changed the Application Server URL (Edit => Preferences => Runtime menus) from:
    http://ssbuechl2.div16.ibm.com:8889/forms/frmservlet?config=ttmsmenu
    to:

    So my customized configuration with all the WebUtil references was not being referenced and I was getting the error.

  • Updating hybrid configuration failed - Kerberos authentication: The network path was not found

    I'm configuring Exchange 2010 SP3 as a Hybrid server with Exchange Online. This is a single server running Exchange roles Mailbox, Client Access, Unified Messaging and Hub Transport.

     Possible causes are:

      -Kerberos is used when no authentication method and no user name are specified.
      -Kerberos accepts domain user names, but not local user names.

    I have sought help, posting on the forum at community.office365.com -
    http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/158/t/212265.aspx. But I've got to a point where I believe the problem is more to do with how PowerShell is operating on the on-prem Exchange server.
    Has anyone else come across this problem running the Hybrid Configuration Wizard?

    Hello Darrell,
    Have you verified the settings of Powershell virtual directories for the on-premises Exchange Servers? The following article has a list of some common issues with that virtual directory and how to correct them:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff607221(v=exchg.80).aspxI would take a look at the one titled "Configure Kerberos Authentication" specifically to ensure everything
    looks good.
    As the article states you can run the Exchange BPA and it will check if any of these exist as well.

  • Cannot join domain "the network path was not found"

    Hi there.
    As I wanted to install new Microsoft  Lync Server, I tried to prepare a virtual machine for this. For some reason I used a virtual machine that I tested for some another services, therefore it had some changes on it.
    As you know before installing Lync Server your client must be join a domain and when I tried to joined it I faced with this error "The following error occurred attempting
    to join the domain “ysatech”; the network path was not found "
    Before my search, I thought it was DNS problem. I checked DNS but nothing was wrong.
    I searched for it and I read some forums answers and I resolved it:
    As I said my client server had some changes, the problem was in the NIC but not about DNS or WINS. The "Client for Microsoft Networks" of
    NIC of my domain network was not checked and it must be checked.

    Check the dns setting on client and ensure the setting as below.
    1. Each workstation/member server should point to local DNS server as primary DNS and other remote DNS servers as secondary.
    2. Do not set public DNS server in TCP/IP setting of client/member server.
    3. If multiple NIC are configured disable the unrequired NIC.Check the NIC binding order too.
    This issue may occur if the TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service is not running on the client computer.

    I will also recommend to enable the Client for Microsoft Networks.If still issue persist post the ipconfig /all details of client computer.

  • SqlFileStream error: The network path was not found

    I created a FileStream enabled table in a SQL2008 database, and populated some rows into it, from a SQL2000 table storing image. It's fine.
    Then I wrote a WPF application in C#, trying to access the filestream data as below code snippet:
    SqlConnection sqlConn = null;
    SqlTransaction sqlTran = null;
    try
    // ids_static_imagesTableAdapter was defined by SQL SELECT statement:
    // SELECT TOP (@x) image_name, image, image.PathName() AS image_path FROM dbo.ids_static_images
    ids_static_imagesTableAdapter imgTa = new ids_static_imagesTableAdapter();
    sqlConn = imgTa.Connection;
    sqlConn.Open();
    idsxi2011imageDataSet.ids_static_imagesDataTable imgDt = imgTa.GetData(10);
    sqlTran = sqlConn.BeginTransaction();
    SqlCommand cmdGetFsTxCtx = sqlConn.CreateCommand();
    cmdGetFsTxCtx.CommandText = "SELECT GET_FILESTREAM_TRANSACTION_CONTEXT()";
    cmdGetFsTxCtx.Transaction = sqlTran;
    byte[] fileStreamTxCtx = (byte[])cmdGetFsTxCtx.ExecuteScalar();
    foreach (idsxi2011imageDataSet.ids_static_imagesRow imgRow in imgDt)
    SqlFileStream imgSqlFileStream = new SqlFileStream(imgRow.image_path, fileStreamTxCtx, FileAccess.Read);
    Add(new ImageFile(imgRow.image_path, imgRow.image_name, imgSqlFileStream));
    sqlTran.Commit();
    finally
    if (sqlConn != null && sqlConn.State == ConnectionState.Open)
    sqlConn.Close();
    The SqlFileStream constructor throws error, states 'The network path was not found'.
    FYR, when I run the following SQL statement in SSMS:
    SELECT TOP 1 image.PathName() AS image_path FROM dbo.ids_static_images
    result as below:
    \\XISERVER\MSSQLSERVER\v1\idsxi2011image\dbo\ids_static_images\image\3B121497-07E6-4568-9DDC-EFEAA57BE6AA
    Any idea?

    Hi,
    Could you please elaborate a bit? Are SQL Server 2008 and the WPF application running on separate machines? If so, I think we need to enable the

  • The network path was not found *DNS*

    Hi all,
    Some background... I only have one DC which is running AD and DNS.  I have a file/share server that I want to add to the domain and along with a few workstations.  I was getting an error before this and it was 'dns name does not exist'... but now
    I'm getting 'the network path does not exist' error.  Some items that I changed are for the DC I pointed the DNS to itself by changing the primary DNS to its loopback address (127.0.0.1) and the secondary dns setting is left blank.  For the file/share
    server I changed the primary DNS to the DCs IP address.  The DC does have a forwarder for resolving external addresses that it does not know locally.
    When I try to add the file server to the domain by entering in the DC admin credentials it just says 'the network path was not found' to the DC and it doesn't give me an error code. I just want to add the server/clients to the domain.
    The file/share server is a windows 2012 r2 and the DC is also windows 2012 r2.

    Both the DC and file share server are on the same subnet and I checked the logs on the FW and the FW is not seeing the traffic.
    As far as DNS goes do I have it configured correctly.  For the DC I have a static IP and the Primary DNS setting as its loopback address.  The file share server also has a static IP address and the Primary DNS setting is the DCs IP address.
    On the DC there is a yellow exclamation icon on the network icon which says 'no internet access'.  This could be a problem... but when I do nslookup I'm able to resolve names.
    On the DC and File server I have McAfee agent EPO running on it (HIPS and A/V).  I checked the logs on the DC and the only thing being blocked was netbios which I allowed it now but for some reason the logs still show that it is being blocked.
