Oracle error 6550 during authentication

Hi,
we have upgraded from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10.2
and db 9.2.0.8 to 10.2.0.4
after that when try to copy the output or log file of any request i am getting the following error
Oracle error 6550 during authentication
i have ran adadmin .. recreate grants and sysn...

An unexpected error occurred during authentication

When one of our users tries to login they get this message in red above the login text box, "An unexpected error occurred during authentication." We can't recreate the error and have made sure the user has their security and browser settings correct. They are using IE 6.02 on XP. We have tested this configuration and it works for us. We have also tested their login and we can login here. I can't find anything about this error message and have run out of places to look. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ORACLE error 6550 encountered

I am trying to import a database dump file from Oracle 8 into Oracle 9 for our application, but I got the following error.
I got Oracle 9 and Oracle 10 both installed on my laptop, I think the reason it is that I use IMP command for Oracle 10 rather than Oralce 9. But I am not sure how to change to IMP in oracle 9. Any idea? Or something else to cause this error?

You can change by diff ways
1. goto Start>Programs>oraclexxx> > Oracle Home selector> change that as 9i home
2. go to 9i ORACLE_HOME/bin dir then use imp
3. Give full path of the 9i imp bin
like for example
c:\> c:\oracle\oracle9i\product\bin\imp system/oracle@SMDB
buffer=20000000 file=C:\ARLP.dmp ignore=Y indexes=N grants=N log=C:\ARLP_imp.lo

I would say try this first
1. Log in to EM
2. Click on Business Intelligence link on he left-hand side to expand it
3. Click on Coreapplication.
4. Click on the Capacity Management tab
5. Click Restart All
If helps pls mark as correct else let me know updates

I too got the same error message and you know what I did.
I just tried declaring all the variables that are in the called form, in the main form, i.e if you are in form A and calling B that has 10 parameters, all these 10 variables has to be in form A. And this got rid of the error.

Solution - First, verify that this package exists with the following query:

If the status is INVALID, then recompile the package. If the package does not exist, then you will have to install it as follows:

If Gives the compilation Error then user following Solution.
The solution is running catnoqm.sql (remove XDB schema) and then running catqm.sql (installing XDB schema).

Is there any way to track the oracle error number . Actually in which variable it get stored? I want to show the oracle error number during the error in my validation error message area.So how can i frame the error message area during validation.

Say i have a form related to table EMP.the form have a create button.Now when i want to insert some NULL value to the empid field obviously it throws the error
ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into EMP(EMP.empid) .Now i want to make a validation to handle this error and want to show my own customized error message.For this i create a validation.Now i can give any message in the error message field.But i want to display that ORA-01400 error ID with my message so that the future developer can understand better inspite of looking my own message.This is quite simple validation but for complex validation it will be easy to maintain the application if ORA error ID will be displayed.Actually #SQLERRM# is not working in my error message text its not showing the actual error ID .so there must be some way so that the actual error ID can be displayed by HTMLDB itself when handling error .
I think now i can give the details of what my problem is actually ....

You are using DB12 as EM repository which is not certified. From the log, ORA-65096: invalid common user or role name , some people have reported similar issue while using DB12 as their repository.
If this not the case then log an SR with oracle support and upload the logs:
- $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/log/schemamanager zipped
- $ORACLE_HOME/cfgtoollogs/ zipped
- central inventory logs

Check each of the following :
the spelling of the table or view name.
that a view is not specified where a table is required.
that an existing table or view name exists.
Contact the database administrator if the table needs to be created or if user or application privileges are required to access the table.
Also, if attempting to access a table or view in another schema, make certain the correct schema is referenced and that access to the object is granted.

Production Server -
1. Run the adpreclone.pl on the apps & db tier.
2. run the autoconfig on the apps and db tier.
3. shut down the production instance.
4. Moved the files and started the clonning process on the db tier i am getting the below issue.
My current E-Business Suit Version is R12.0.4 Database Version is 10.2.0.3. Operating system is SUN SPARC 64 BIT SUN SOLARIS 10.

Nikki,
Check alert<SID>.log file for more details about the error.
It looks like that the source database was not cleanly shutdown before copying the files to the target node. Please do the following and check then:
SQL> connect / as sysdba
SQL> startup mount;
SQL> recover database using backup controlfile until cancel;
-- type CANCEL
SQL> alter database open resetlogs; If the above does not help, then shutdown the source database normally (make sure it is down), re-copy the files and start the cloning process again.

Oracle R12 Clone failing with RC-00118 Error occurred during creation of...

Im encountering the above error message i have seen the below thread which looks like the same issue, i was wondering if someone could confirm if the clone process requires an off-line backup on the source system for the clone process to work. Currently i'm using a tape backup which runs overnight, the system is up at the time of backup.

thanks for quick response, its a hot backup.
the steps ive followed are
1. adpreclone on source
2. apps,db,inst directories deleted on destination. (after services have of course been shutdown)
3. oracle variables removed from path
4. backup restored from tape
5. deleted program files/oracle/inventory directory
6. on cmd window run set PERL5LIB=
followed by perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier
is there anything ive missed?

I know this question have been asked in these forums quite a few times. I apologize if it is a repeat telecast but I was not able to find a suitable solution pertaining to my problem.
I have a AP/SM setup that is configured to get EAP-PEAP authentication from Windows 2012 Server. I have setup everything and have verified that the EAP-PEAP authentication works fine on AP/SM by getting authentication from FreeRADIUS server. Now, when I try
to get authentication from Windows Server, I am getting a reject. The Event log shows this generic message:

Reason:
An error occurred during the Network Policy Server use of the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP). Check EAP log files for EAP errors.
There is nothing in the EAP logs that is obvious too:

Have you installed certificates on the NPS server properly? Have you selected the proper certificate in the properties of PEAP?
Here is an article about the Certificate requirements of PEAP,

If your certificate matches the requirement, you may try to reinstall the certificate by export and import.
To export a certificate, please follow the steps below,
Open the Certificates snap-in for a user, computer, or service.
In the console tree under the logical store that contains the certificate to export, click
Certificates.
In the details pane, click the certificate that you want to export.
On the Action menu, point to
All Tasks, and then click Export.
In the Certificate Export Wizard, click No, do not export the private key. (This option will appear only if the private key is marked as exportable and you have access to the private key.)
Provide the following information in the Certificate Export Wizard:
Click the file format that you want to use to store the exported certificate: a DER-encoded file, a Base64-encoded file, or a PKCS #7 file.
If you are exporting the certificate to a PKCS #7 file, you also have the option to include all certificates in the certification path.
If required, in Password, type a password to encrypt the private key you are exporting. In
Confirm password, type the same password again, and then click
Next.
In File name, type a file name and path for the PKCS #7 file that will store the exported certificate and private key. Click
Next, and then click Finish.
To import a certificate, please follow the steps below,
Open the Certificates snap-in for a user, computer, or service.
In the console tree, click the logical store where you want to import the certificate.
On the Action menu, point to
All Tasks, and then click Import to start the Certificate Import Wizard.
Type the file name containing the certificate to be imported. (You can also click
Browse and navigate to the file.)

Enable strong private key protection check box.
(Optional) If you want to back up or transport your keys at a later time, select the
Mark key as exportable check box.
Do one of the following:
If the certificate should be automatically placed in a certificate store based on the type of certificate, click
Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate.
If you want to specify where the certificate is stored, select
Place all certificates in the following store, click
Browse, and choose the certificate store to use.
If issue persists, you may try to re-issue the certificate.

I am facing the problem while exporting the user in ORACLE 9i. It is showing the following error message's

But still I am unable to export the database user.Still it is showing me the same error. Please help me out.
