Oracle Flexcube Core Banking Web Services

Hi,
I am trying to get documentation around the set of web services that Oracle Flexcube exposes. Where can I find this documentation? I tried to send an email to get access to the "Integration Lab", but that emailed bounced. I am looking to get an idea of the different services around account management, deposit and lending as it pertains to core banking.

What is the best practice for integrating oracle atg with external web service? Is it using integration repository or calling the web service directly from the java class using a WS client?

Using Integration Repository might cause performance overhead based on the operation you are doing, I have never used Integration Repository for 3rd Party integration therefore I am not able to make any comment on this.
Calling directly as a Java Client is an easy approach and you can use ATG component framework to support that by making the endpoint, security credentials etc as configurable properties.

Really it is a great tool. I need someone help me; How I can integrate Oracle BI Publisher via Web Services in Oracle Forms.
I got the guidelines of this integration process from ORACLE.

How to enable MSDOS program to be called from Oracle PL/SQL procedure ( Web Service )?

Hello,
Dealing with the time demanding procedure where power user is interactively execute sequence
of steps of procedure:
1. pl/sql procedure for preparing data in some table
2. java program that read data from the table and creating input txt file for MSDOS program
3. MSDOS program is autonomous component that reads input txt file and make
output txtfile.
MSDOS program is closed component, can not be modified
4. java program that insert txtfile into Oracle table.
5. Steps 1 to 4 are executed in interations driven with select on some table.
Trying to prepare re-design the procedure and not sure about which technologies to use ?
The goal is that whole procedure would be implemented in pl/sql procedure and this way could be executed
so as from power user from command line as from controlled application on any type of the client.
So if that MSDOS program would be transformed as Web Service offered on some MSWin server in the intranet.
Then PL/SQL procedure would communicate ( call this web service ) and do all the job and at the end
send status of completion and report through e-mail to the issuer of the procedure?
Not sure what technologies should I use on Oracle RDBMS server on Linux to communicate with MSWin Web service which is running MSDOS program ?

Yes it can be done. Simply consult the applicable manuals that contains all of the details on how to do it. The manuals are:
- Oracle® Database Application Developer's Guide - Large Objects (refer to Chapter 6 section on Using PL/SQL (DBMS_LOB Package) to Work with LOBs)
- Oracle® Database PL/SQL Packages and Types Reference (refer to the chapter on DBMS_LOB)

Oracle 10g Enterprise Manager web service unable to start

I am unable to get Enterprise Manager web service for Oracle 10g to start in Windows. Anybody can tell me where to find out what is the problem and what are the possible problems and solutions? I do not wish to re-install or create a new database instance because there is existing data and will require extensive configurations to my web and app servers if I change the database instance. How to Return a value to a 10g Oracle Form form a Web Service Call

I've read the demo available from Oracle, 'Calling a Web service from Oracle Forms', that shows how to invoke a call to a Web Service from a Form. The demo only shows how to do a call and how to display messages. I've done some searching, but can't seem to find any examples of how to return a value from the call into a field on the form. If any one could provide an example of that, I would greatly appreciate it.
We are in the process of modifing a form and we would like to use a webservice, which we have never done before. We have created a webservice which calculates a value based upon what is entered on the form and we want to pass that calculated value back to a field on the form.
This is the code provided by the demo to do a call.

In the future, please be sure to include the exact product versions you are using. In this case, also be sure to include the java versions you are using to build your java code.

Integration of Oracle ATG with external web service

I am new to Oracle ATG 10.1 and am trying to integrate ATG with an external web service. I checked the documentation library and checked ATGWSFrameGuide but it only helped theoritically. Can anybody share any resource / docs to explain how to integrate ATG with web services.

There is no rocket science involved here. Just create a component whose properties file can contain the required properties like the wsdl path,etc. Create the stub classes out of the wsdl, jar it and place it in your classpath. Populating the request data into stub and invoking an operation will be similar to the one that we use in normal java while working with web services

Migrate oracle database to Amazon web services

Has anyone migrated an existing oracle database 11g or higher to the AWS Amazon web services ?
I don't believe we can use AWS's RDS Oracle service so we would have to customize it.
We are presently on a linux server and use Oracle Flexible Arch.
How do you tell/set AWS to replicate the file names and directory that oracle would use?
Appreciate any tips or documents that you can point me to.

Oracle.classloader.util.AnnotatedNoClassDefFoundError Web Service Proxy

I have seen this issue being posted a couple of times, but I have not seen any solution yet...
I created a dynamic web service proxy using JDeveloper's dynamic proxy generation feature. I got it to work in both j2se and j2ee. However, when I tried to migrate the code to jdev on a different machine, I got this error:
oracle.classloader.util.AnnotatedNoClassDefFoundError:
Missing class: com.raytheon.winsight.proxy.StructureListType
Dependent class: java.lang.reflect.Array
Loader: jre.bootstrap
Code-Source: unknown
Configuration: jre bootstrap
And the weird thing is that it works when I run it as a j2se executable, but does not work when I try to run it in a servlet. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks!

I believe so. I am running it in my jdev environment with its own jdk/jre.
Another thing I have noticed is that in the jdev environment that is not working for me, every time I attempt to launch the ws proxy, I get the following error:

ORACLE APEX POST Restful Web services

Any examples and/or ideas into how to insert a XML or JSON style document into column with XMLtype, varchar2, clob or blob type using an Apex post restful web service? I don't want to use SQL loader, external tables or something that requires a directory in the database server.
