Oracle FO processor ignoring color attribute

Hello,
I have the following: <fo:inline font-weight="bold" color="red">blah</fo:inline> iin my report xml. When I use BI Publisher desktop to convert my template to pdf or html, the selected text is shown in bold but the color is not in red but black. I have tried using hex colors like #FFFFFF but this is equally ignored.
Does the oracle processor ignore the color attribute and if so is there a workaround?

Do you have the code in a form field? When you say that you use BI Publisher desktop to convert my template to pdf or html, do you mean that when you preview the output you don't see the text in RED? I was able to view the text in bold and red color.
Thanks,
Bipuser

    This is a known bug in the HTML Output method of 2.0.2.6 which is incorrectly
    outputting elements like:
    <script/>
    and
    <textarea/>
    as
    <script> instead of <script></script>
    and
    <textarea> instead of <textarea></textarea>
    This will be fixed in 2.0.2.7. The workaround
    is to have some content defaulted into the <textarea> so that it's not an empty element.

  • Oracle XSLT Processor

    Hi
    I am using oracle XSLT processor. There is a need to print current year in HTMl page.
    I have used year() function in xalan org.apache.xalan.lib.ExsltDatetime class to print curreent year in XSLT file. But it is not displaying anything
    Please anybody can help on this?
    My xslt looks like this
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
    xmlns:cal="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/org.apache.xalan.lib.ExsltDatetime"

    So I suppose you're using this from Java ?
    What's the version of the processor?

  • How to configure the Oracle XSL Mapper for ‘schemaLocation’ attribute?

    In the Transformation_1.xsl I need to have the ‘schemaLocation’ attribute defined as such:
    <inc:CaseIncidentReport xsi:schemaLocation="http://caseincidentreport.com/1.0.4 CaseIncidentReport.xsd">
    This is fine as long as long as I don’t switch to the Design tab. When I switch to the Design tab, Oracle XSL Mapper regenerates the XSL file and renders the root element as
    <inc:CaseIncidentReport>
    Can some one tell me how to configure Oracle XSL Mapper for ‘schemaLocation’ attribute? I am using BPEL Designer/JDeveloper Version 10.1.2.1.0 (Build 1915)
    Thanks,

    What do you mean by normal import? Where can I include the 'schemaLocation' attribute in the Designer? I have no trouble adding the shemaLocation in the source tab but when I switch to the design tab it always stripe it off.
    How do I file an enhancement request? I see the the XSL Mapper needs improvements.
    Thanks,

  • Loader, Unload SWF and Warning: Ignoring 'secure' attribute........

    Hey all
    I was just simply trying to load one swf into another.  in my document class I have the following line of code in my constructor.
    var loadBoard:LoadBoard = new LoadBoard("Directory.swf");
    in my LoadBoard class:
    package com.myproject
         import flash.display.Loader;
         import flash.display.MovieClip;
         import flash.net.URLRequest;
         public class LoadBoard extends MovieClip
              public function LoadBoard(nameOfBoard:String)
                   var boardLoader:Loader = new Loader();
                   addChild(boardLoader);
                   boardLoader.load(new URLRequest(nameOfBoard));
                   trace("swf should be loaded");
    In my console I get the following when I debug"
    [SWF] U:\fullPath\Directory.swf - 69,058 bytes after decompression
    [SWF] U:\fullPath\Directory.swf - 2,067 bytes after decompression
    [SWF] U:\fullPath\Directory.swf - 322,606 bytes after decompression
    [SWF] U:\fullPath\Directory.swf - 112,558 bytes after decompression
    [Unload SWF] U:\fullPath\Directory.swf
    Warning: Ignoring 'secure' attribute in policy file from http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/crossdomain.xml.  The 'secure' attribute is only permitted in HTTPS and socket policy files.  See http://www.adobe.com/go/strict_policy_files for details.
    Not sure why I am getting this warning, when I googled it, the erro has to do with trying to load a file from another domain. My Directory.swf file is in the same location as my main swf, the bin-debug folder.  Also the Directory.swf does not seem to load into my main swf as I don't see it show up in the flash player when i run my app.   I am also a little confused on the [Unload SWF], I am not doing anything to tell it to Unload my swf.
    I am using FB to do all my coding and debugging if that matters.
    Does anyone have any ideas.
    thanks,

    Apparently I was, so I changed it to classic text in my Directory.fla and that seemed to remove the weird error.  However it seem that my swf is still not loading.  any Ideas why that might be?
    [EDIT]  Ok, my Directory swf is defenatly loading. but not showing up in the display list. I updated my LoadBoard to the following.
    package com.aces
         import flash.display.Loader;
         import flash.display.MovieClip;
         import flash.events.Event;
         import flash.net.URLRequest;
         public class LoadBoard extends MovieClip
              public function LoadBoard(nameOfBoard:String)
                   var boardLoader:Loader = new Loader();
                   boardLoader.load(new URLRequest(nameOfBoard));
                   boardLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, finishLoading);
              public function finishLoading(loadEvent:Event):void
                   addChild(loadEvent.currentTarget.content);
                   trace("swf should be loaded");
    any Ideas?

  • CSS - Setting the color attribute of the commandMenuItem

    Hello
    Under the menuBar in Jdeveloper resides an item called commandMenuItem. The
    color of this item always defaults to a Golden Brown Color. I can change the color
    attribute under the properties navigator and it takes the new color. However I'd like to have an item in the CSS to define the color of all the commandMenuItems.
    Is there a way of doing this.
    Any Help will be appreciated
    Regards
    Kes Moodley

    Hi,
    I am specifically interested in setting the text color of the .AFMenuBarItem. I have tried setting this color attribute in the CSS and it does not seem to take.
    The reference you pointed me to refers to the background and foreground color of the menu Bar. This is different to the text color on the menu Bar.
    Thanks,
    Kes

  • Oracle schema processor

    hi,
    i am new to XML. I wish to validate a xml against a schema. I hv downloaded the oracle schema processor from the web and the example there works fine on my machine.
    I would like to know. how do i assign targetname space and ref in xml to xmlns to the local schema files. not use internet references.
    SCHEMA trial1.xsd file stored in ABC directory:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <schema xmlns =
    "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema"
    targetNamespace = "file://c:/abc"
    xmlns:trial1 = "file://c:/abc">
    <element name="Title" type="string"/>
    <element name="Volume" type="integer"/>
    <element name="Publisher" type="string"/>
    </schema>
    XML file trial11.xml
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <Catalogue xmlns:trial1 =
    "file://c:/abc/trial1.xsd">
    <Title>the book</Title>
    <alpha>3</alpha>
    <Publisher>alpha</Publisher>
    </Catalogue>
    when i run this with the schemaprocessor i get no error. as if the schema did not exist.
    kindly help. basically how do i reference schemas which are local.
    thanks
    null

    Hi Vicky,
    I downloaded the schema processor recently and had the same problem that you did. Basically the answer is that the URL is a reference -- the processor will not go out to check it. Try this:
    Trial1.xsd:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <schema
    xmlns = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema"
    targetNamespace = "http://www.foo.com/bar">
    <element name="Catalogue" type="CatType"/>
    <complexType name="CatType">
    <element name="Title" type="string"/>
    <element name="Volume" type="integer"/>
    <element name="Publisher" type="string"/>
    </complexType>
    </schema>
    Trial1.xml: (note: the name is not Trial11.xml)
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <Catalogue
    xmlns = "http://www.foo.com/bar"
    xmlns:xsi = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema/instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation = "http://www.foo.com/bar trial1.xsd">
    <Title>the book</Title>
    <Volume>3</Volume>
    <Publisher>alpha</Publisher>
    </Catalogue>
    [This assumes that both files are in the currentworking directory.]
    I hope this helps.
    Cheers,
    --Andrew.

    Hi every one,
    I migrate a project in version 11.1.1.6.0  of jDeveloper to 11.1.1.7.0 and after deploy, the application throws the exception "oracle.jbo.NoDefException: JBO-35011: Attribute: x not found for value binding: y". Rarely in the web or forum, i can't find anything about the code error JBO-35011.
    Someone knows something about this?
    Regards!

    Don't know much about this error but it looks like you have an attribute binding which isn't connected to an vo attribute.  Check all bindings pigthe page and pagedef if the are correctly setup. If you access attribute bindings from a bean you have to check them too.

  • "[Oracle][ODBC]Restricted data type attribute violation

    Hi,
    I have a program that use the database object,TQuery in Borland C++ Builder 5 to access information on an Oracle8i table. The program was working fine until I updated the Oracle8i ODBC driver from 8.1.5 to 8.1.6.
    I am getting the error :
    "[Oracle][ODBC]Restricted data type attribute violation."
    I can't see what I have done wrong with the SQL statement in the query as it is only a select * from table statement. Can anyone help me with this ? Thank in advance.
    C.M.

    I think I had found what is causing the problem. It looks like the latest Oracle ODBC driver doesn't like any table that
    consists of any 2 fields of type NUMBER but with 1 of them having
    NOT NULL. >example : >Name Null? Type>-------- --------
    ----------------- NO1 NUMBER>NO2 NOT NULL NUMBER>I think this is
    a bug. >null
    I am not sure what you mean by the statement
    "the latest Oracle ODBC driver doesn't like any table that
    consists of any 2 fields of type NUMBER but with 1 of them having
    NOT NULL"
    Do you mean there cannot be two not null number columns in a
    table witht he latest Oracle ODBC driver.
    I am running into the same problem as you did. I am getting a
    restricted type violation, and have isolated the column and it is
    a number(x,y). I have the the Oracle Client 8.01.06.00 driver
    and I have PowerBuilder8.0 as the GUI.
    Any help would be much appreciated,
    Thanks in advance,

  • Color Attribute

    All I am creating a visual component "bulletChart" just about

    My issue is that when developing in flex builder it show up black.
    the attribute data type is uint. If I set it to 0x808080 it shows

  • My problems with Oracle Schema Processor for C++ :(

    Dear ;) Oracle XML team and others,
    the followings are really inconvenient with the C++ schema processor:
    -it doesn't even support the Candidate
    Recommendation (OK, the Java version does
    support it, and you can use XSU and upgrade your schemas later when the C++ will also
    support it.)
    -you cannot put comments in the schema, just after the <xsd:schema> element.
    -it's checking the attribute use="required"
    when an attribute is declared in a
    complexType, but it doesn't check
    when an attribute is referenced or, which could be much more useful, when an
    attributegroup is referenced, and it contains
    use attributes. (I tried XMLSpy and it was correct. But I need an API or a C++ tool.)
    I'm really awaiting this schema processor to be updated (maybe on April 14 the W3C Schema recommendation ;))
    -it supports "import" but I had problems with "include" (this looked like a bug, but after I'd posted it, noone replied :(. Maybe because the C++ processor is kind of "obsolete")
    Will the C++ version be updated? (When?)
    I cannot use Java because I try to integrate with a C++ application. I was looking for
    other products, but I only found XSV, Java XSD processors and built-in tools. It's quite sad that there isn't a C++ implementation available. :( Can anyone help me?
